Cool Kid Saves the Cats
Chapter 39: ...There he is
"Oh shit! He went straight down! That was awesome!" IHE shouts mere moments after Cool Kid jumps from the ledge.
"Awesome! I wanna watch him splat!" YMS says as him and IHE rush over to the ledge.
"Stop." Ralphs says. The two of them stop in their tracks and turn around to face him. "Don't act like such children."
"Oh but come on Ralphs!" complains IHE. "It took so long planning all of this! I at least want to see the fruit of my labor!"
"Seriously!" Complains YMS as well. "Can't we at least take a peak?"
Ralphs sighs and rubs his forehead. "You won't be able to see something from up here anyway. If you really want to see his corpse, then we can go down to ground level and see what he looks like, okay?"
YMS and IHE look at each other with excitement, then they jump in the air together. "Yaaaaaay!" The two of them high five each other. Ralphs sighs and motions for them to follow him. They follow him towards the door back into the room where they tortured Cool Kid. Right before they make it inside, a bright orange light shines far from below them, and lights up the night sky. The entire city became engulfed in a beautiful orange light. Then after a few moments it ceased. The three of them stand there motionless.
"W...what was that?" Asks YMS with sweat dripping from his forehead.
"It uh...was probably just something exploding….right?" Whimpers IHE.
Ralphs clenches his fists and slowly turns around to face the ledge Cool Kid just jumped from. Standing on that ledge, was none other than the powerful being itself, the friend to all kids, the orange savior: Cool Cat. The three of them stare at him in awe and fear.
"I...I...YMS! I thought you killed him!" shouts IHE.
YMS response, "I...I did! The radar showed his soul was completely destroyed! This makes no-"
"Quiet." Says Cool Cat. The three of them stop and stare at him in fear. "You three have been very un-cool." Cool Cat pulls out the bottle containing Stormy Mikey that Cool Kid had. Without a second thought, Cool Cat crushes the bottle. The power from his clutch instantly kills Stormy Mikey.
IHE shivers. "He….he just destroyed air….h-how powerful is he….?"
Cool Cat starts walking towards them. Each step he made left an orange footprint of fire on the ground.
"First, you took control of a world that doesn't belong to you. That's not cool. Second, you took advantage of people you deem as expendable. That's not cool."
With sweat pouring down his face, YMS rushes over to Cool Cat and gets on his knees.
"Please oh great Cool Cat! I'm sorry for how we acted! Me and IHE are just mortals that were swayed by Ralphs power! Please forgive us!"
Cool Cat stops moving and looks down at YMS. "It's far too late for that." In a flash, he winds up his right arm and punches YMS in the face. The power of his fist lops off YMS' head, and sends it flying across the city into the night sky. The now headless body of YMS falls to the floor. Cool Cat stretches his arm and resumes walking towards the group.
"Third, you all tried to kill me. That's not cool."
IHE shakes in fear and turns around to run away. Without a second of hesitation, Cool Cat emits a horizontal laser blade from his left hand and hurls it towards IHE. The laser cuts IHE in half at the waist. He still tries to crawl to the elevator with just his torso, but Cool Cat knows he has no chance of making it that far. He set his sights on Ralphs and walks right up to him, so close that they were nearly touching.
"Fourth, you killed people that I, and my host cared for. I can ignore what you try to do to me, but when you hurt others, you have to suffer."
Ralphs scoffs at him. "Hello Cool Cat. Long time no see."
"Cut the small talk Ralph. You have to pay for your crimes." Cool Cat's right hand emits a bright orange light.
Ralphs clenches his fists and teeth in anger. "You seriously think it's going to be that easy? I'm not just a god! I'm TWO GODS COMBINED! Ralph the Movie and Ralph the Maker! Formed together to make me! I am one of the most powerful beings in the universe! And you think you can stop me!? I can go back in time! I can extract people's souls! I can create new life! I can create whatever I want and destroy whatever I want! I can do anything!"
Cool Cat raises his right hand above Ralphs. "And now, all you can do is die." He lowers his arm and karate chops Ralphs' head straight down the middle. His chop cuts all the way down his body, separating him into two. Ralphs the Movie Maker has been divided back into Ralph the Movie and Ralph the Maker once again. However, this would not be enough for Cool Cat.
"The crimes you committed are unforgivable, I cannot just let you off with a mere division. You must be destroyed." Cool Cat snaps his fingers and an orange light envelopes both of the Ralphs. The light cuts through their bodies at a molecular level, and tears them apart. In a matter of seconds both of their bodies are ripped apart by Cool Cat's power, and nothing is left of them. Not even their ashes remain, they have been completely eradicated from existence.
Cool Cat takes a deep breath and looks in the room for IHE. He almost got to the elevator before dying of blood loss. Cool Cat sighs and walks back towards the ledge and places his foot on the ledge. He closes his eyes and jumps off. He hurls himself at lighting speed towards the ground, where an immense crowd of people came to gather to see what created that great orange light. Cool Cat slams on the ground in front of them with a traditional superhero landing, and stands up in front of the crowd.
They all stare at him in shock and awe, waiting for what he has to say. Cool Cat looks over the crowd and smiles one of the happiest smiles he's made his entire life.
"Everyone! I am back! And I'm here to stay!"
A moment of silence, followed by some of the loudest cheering the Earth has ever heard. It took the sacrifice of so many people: Tyrone, FaDoug, that one guy in that car that one time, and especially Cool Kid. So many lives had to be lost, but in the end it was worth it. Cool Cat is back.
