Shigaraki felt his mouth curl up into a vicious grin.
"You're much stronger than you look." Still, she would be no match for the Nomu he'd brought along. It'd been specifically designed to have the same physical strength as All Might. It could absorb powerful attacks just as easily as well. Truly, this Nomu was in a League all of its own. The girl wouldn't be able to stand a chance against it for long.
"I'll take that as a compliment," She shot back. Kagome danced just out of the Nomu's reach as its palm shot towards her.
It was subtle but something had changed in her just now. Something that he couldn't quite place.
Shigaraki kept his distance. His gaze took in her stance as she doubled back towards the Nomu.
There was a certain viciousness in the way she attacked. Before she focused solely on restraining his men. Now she was clearly trying to hurt Nomu.
"Shatter!" Kagome cried out. The shards that'd formed over Nomu's arm burst apart. Blood pooled beneath its feet as her shards embedded themselves within its flesh.
"If you can't beat 'em, better to just destroy 'em." Kagome flashed him a confident smirk.
He'd underestimated her.
"You really are full of surprises." Shigaraki threaded his fingers together. "But even if you destroy his flesh, he'll just regenerate. You can't defeat him."
The young woman clicked her tongue as Nomu's arm split then began to reform its muscles. It gave another screech before making a grab for her.
She thrashed against its hold wildly.
"Damn it, let go you filthy bastard!" The young woman slapped her palms against its forearms. As with before, shards crystallized its flesh before shattering in an array of blood, glass and splintered bone.
Kagome tucked beneath the Nomu. She charged past it straight towards him.
A grin spread across her lips, "That thing only does what you tell it to right?" She leapt towards him. "So if I take you out then it'll just go back to being a useless pawn!"
Scarlet eyes narrowed.
She was good.
