KNEEL BEFORE ZOD

ZOD

The people of earth watch in horror as their beloved Superman is killed. A sense of dread and panic takes hold of the people of earth. Zod has a hologram transmitted to the White House. "Mr. President…kneel!" Zod commands. He slowly gets up from behind his desk, walks around and drops to one knee. "Good. Now contact the other world leaders. They will come here to the White House and kneel before their General. Any act of defiance or civil disobedience will be met with violence."

"Yes General. I will make the phone calls now."

THE PRESIDENT

He hangs up the phone, "Mister President we can use project Cadmus." Waller says.

"And what if those freaks join this Zod instead of fighting him?" General Castle asks.

That is when the phone rings, "Hello! Is this a joke? Yes of course, I will let the know."

"Mister President are you alright?" Waller asks.

He writes Superman is alive on a piece of paper and slides it across the desk. "What is the plan?"

JAX-UR

It takes a few days, but the world leaders converge on Washington D.C. to kneel before the new world leader. Zod flies down to the White House with Non, Ursa, and Nala. Jax-Ur remains on the ship, because at the edge of the star system a fight is happening between the Green Lanterns and other wielding yellow aura rings.

"Hello Jax-Ur."

He turns just in time to see Kal'El use a Phantom Zone crystal to send him to the artificial dimension.

ZOD

He flies down and lands on the lawn of the White House and as he walks through the gathered leaders they fall to one knee. "Hail General Zod!" They all say sporadically as he takes the stand the people start to vanish. "What in the…"

Everyone but one person vanishes as a shield goes up around the White House. The man stands up and removes his clothes. Underneath is the blue suit, red boots, and red cape worn by Superman. "Hello Zod."

"Kal'El you live!"

SUPERMAN

He blasts Zod with his heat vision. Zod goes flying into the White House smashing through the building. Non roars at Superman, but he dodges the attack and grabs Non by the foot. He spins him around and throws him into Ursa, as Nala spins around like a drill and escapes. When Non and Ursa hit the ground, Superman uses the crystal to send them back to the Phantom Zone.

Zod uses his eye beams slashing and blasting through the White House and it collapses. "I sent Non, Ursa, and Jax-Ur back to the Phantom Zone…Your friend Nala abandoned you, but do not worry I will deal with her. Before I send you back to the Phantom Zone I thought we should talk."

"You are just as clever as your father."

They fly at each other and punch at the same time; their punches landing. The force from their blows creating a shockwave. Superman flips and lands on his feet, Zod hits the ground smashing it up. As Zod slowly stands up Superman floats up to him taking out the Phantom Zone crystal. "Farewell Zod."

"No!"

The fight was broadcast to the entire world. Superman had sent a drone that looks like him to mount Everest. It died instead of him and he came up with a plan to defeat Zod and the others. Superman teleported the world leaders to a safe location with Zeta-Tube technology, after they knelt. When Superman arrives in Paris Nala is gone.

"Wow Superman." Hal Jordan says.

"You must be Green Lantern." He looks at the Thanagarian, "And you are…"

"Hawk Girl." Shiera replies.

Superman nods, "I am honored to meet you both."
