Part 25
Friday night Barry and Caitlin met their friends at the bar they always went too. Their friends were already at a table so they grabbed a round of each of their favorites before heading over to them. Well except for Iris who they got a Shirley Temple.
"So Snowbarry what is up?" asked Cisco
"Snowbarry? Really Cisco?" asked Caitlin
"What that is what we all decided years ago was your ship name." said Cisco
"Are you sure about what you decided?" Caitlin asked Barry
"Yeah. Even if he is a bit of a dork." Said Barry
"So you two have made some decisions?" asked Kara
"Yeah. Well as you girls know I want you three to stand up with me. But I have chosen my maid of honor if she is willing. Iris, while I have known you nearly as long as Barry. We have never been super close."
"Caitlin, it's ok. I wasn't expecting you to choose me. I am just happy that you want me to be a bridesmaid." Said Iris
"Thank you for understanding. So it came down to the two of you. Alex while you and I have more in common, Kara you have helped me come out of my shell more. So with that being said will you be my maid of honor?" said Caitlin
"Yes of course! I guess that means I get to plan a bachelorette party." Said Kara
"Nothing too wild and definitely no strippers." Said Caitlin
"Of course." Said Kara
"Alex are you ok with that?" asked Caitlin
"Sure. Just as long as I can still bring my own date." Said Alex
"Of course you can bring Kelly. She is invited anyway." Said Caitlin
"I know. She would have come tonight but she had to do something with her brother." Said Alex
"Well she is missed." Said Caitlin
"I will be sure to let her know."
"Now it is my turn. Ok. Mon, Eddie and Cisco you guys know that you are my best friends well after Cait of course." Said Barry
"Yeah of course we know that Bare." Said Eddie
"Right. So I want the three of you to stand up with me." Said Barry
"You know that we will." Said Mon-El
"Yeah of course bro. Now on to the most important thing who is your best man." Said Cisco
"Yeah right. Cisco will you be my best man?" asked Brry
"Hell yes! I knew that all those night watching Star Wars meant something." Said Cisco
"Francisco Ramon, you do know if I find out about any strippers at the bachelor party I will give you a lobotomy is that clear?" said Caitlin
"Damn Snow you are scary." Said Cisco
"Good."
"You are actually proud of the fact that you scared Cisco?" asked Mon-El
"You have your hobbies. I have mine." Said Caitlin
"You don't seem surprised that your soon to be wife threatened to cut out a part of your best man's brain." Said Eddie
"I already knew she was going to do that." Said Barry
"You didn't warn me? That is cold bro." said Cisco
"Cisco, you forget I go home every night to this beautiful, smart, loving woman. You think that I want to get on her bad side?" asked Barry
"I believe that you have been on my bad side before. Like when you threw me into the lake." Said Caitlin
"Barry what were you thinking? I haven't known her anywhere near as long as you have and I know better than to do that." Said Mon-El
"Mon, Barry did a lot of stupid things before he got with Caitlin." Said Kara
"So it finally happened. I always knew that there was more then friendship between the two of you."
Everyone turned to see Patty had walked up to them.
"Patty?" asked Caitlin
"Hi Caitlin. I always knew Barry loved you. That was why I broke up with him. Maybe in a different universe he and I could have been happy together. But it's ok. I don't regret the time I was with Barry. The only thing that I regret is going to Hunter's party drinking and ending up in bed with him." Said Patty
"Ronnie and I saw you go off with him before we left. If we had realized that you had been drinking we would have done some thing." Said Caitlin
"It's not your fault. I wouldn't have listened to you most likely. Did Barry tell you that I made him promise to invite me to his wedding."
"No he didn't. But it's not a big deal. We will be sure to invite you when we set the date. We just need a way to get in touch with you."
"Easy you can contact me at my job. You are looking at the newest CSI at CCPD. So I guess Barry is now my boss seeing as he is the senior CSI."
"When did this happen?" asked Barry
"This morning. I start Monday."
"Cool I guess I will see you then." Said Barry
"Right." Said Patty before walking off.
Two hours later everyone headed home. Barry and Caitlin headed home where they made love before falling to sleep in each others arms.
