Hermione and Ginny had been busy clearing the house of dust ignoring the late hour. Ron had not left Harry's side. But, insisting that he was ok, and after it had been suggested that they head back to the burrow where Mrs Weasley had food waiting for them, Harry took one last trip upstairs. He hadn't let anyone else go into the attic yet.

He cast the only cleaning spell he knew to get rid of the dust and headed straight to where he had left the pensive. Harry picked it up and placed it on a cloth he had thrown over an old table. Next he lifted the belt and the box from Remus and placed them neatly behind the pensive.

Looking at his work Harry knew that it was going to be a heart wrenching exercise to go through them. Teddy was too young to understand, he'd show him when he was older. Harry on the other hand, was not ready to look at the memories yet. He was too tired. He'd return tomorrow to clear the attic and see how he felt then.

Leaving the attic once again he made his way to the front garden where Ginny was waiting for him. Locking the door behind him (and casting a few locking charms just for extra measure), Harry took her hand and they apparated to the Burrow.
