Chapter 28

Leonard woke up and tried to open his eyes as he saw that it was still dark outside. He heard some noise coming from the bathroom and noticed that Penny wasn't in bed anymore. He got up and went to the bathroom and saw his wife hunched over the toilet getting sick.

"Honey are you alright?….I told you that fish smelled funny." Leonard said as he took a small towel from under the sink. He rinsed it and gave it to his wife. He sat down beside her, rubbing her back to make her feel better.

"Ugh thank you…..I think you're right…..no more pickled fish from now on." she said as she leaned on her husband's shoulder.

"Penny, I'm beginning to worry about you….this isn't normal….we need to take you to a doctor." Leonard said.

"No honey….I'll be fine….really…..you don't have to worry." she said as she looked up and caressed his face.

"Okay...but if this happens again, I'm taking you to the nearest hospital, got it?" Leonard told her.

"Okay fine….I promise I'm gonna be okay." she said. "now why don't you go to bed while I freshen up so we could continue our honeymoon." she winked at him.

"Really? Again?….you're not tired?" he asked.

Penny looked slightly annoyed at him. "So you don't want to have sex with your wife!?" she yelled at him.

Leonard hesitated. "I'm not saying that."

"Fine!….you sleep on the couch….the bed is mine!" she stood up and went to the sink to brush her teeth.

Leonard sighed and went out the bathroom. He took a blanket and went to the couch to lie down. He heard Penny come out of the bathroom. She saw Leonard at the couch and went to him. "What are you doing!?" she asked him.

Leonard looked at her. "Well I don't know what it is but I clearly said something to upset you….you said I should sleep on the couch...so here I am." he said calmly.

Penny grabbed his hand. "Ugh!….You're such as jackass!" she yelled at him while dragging him back to the bedroom. She pushed him on the bed and jumped on top of him. Leonard was surprised as his wife buried her face on her neck and began to undress him. He began to undress his wife while she kept on kissing him. She then grabbed the blanket and covered themselves while making love.

They finished their frenzied love making after almost an hour. They were both out of breath as they lay tangled in their arms, pillows and blankets. Penny moved and put her face against his neck and wrapped her arm around him. "I'm sorry I yelled at you." Penny said.

Leonard moved his hand on her back. "It's alright." he kissed her head.

"No that was wrong of me….I don't know what's gotten into me….I'm a little irritable these past couple of days." she added. "Anyways...lets go to sleep because in the morning, we're gonna lay on the beach and get a nice tan." She said as she pulled the covers.

Leonard kissed her on the cheek and went back to sleep.

It was already seven in the morning when Leonard woke up. He opened his eyes and saw Penny getting ready for the beach. She was wearing her bikini under her beach kimono while putting some stuff in her tote bag. He sat up on the bed and reached for his glasses on the night stand.

"Good morning!" he said as he rubbed his eyes and yawned.

Penny went to him and kissed him on the neck. "Good morning honey….why don't you go to the bathroom and freshen up….we'll go downstairs to the breakfast buffet….I'm starving." Penny smiled at him.

Leonard got up and went straight to the bathroom to relieve himself and take a quick shower. He came out of the bathroom and changed into his beach shorts and floral shirt that Penny bought for him when he came back from his North Sea trip. Penny was at the balcony looking out into the horizon when he told her he is ready. She turned around and grabbed his arm as they went out their suite. They went to the dining area where the complimentary breakfast buffet was served. Penny went to a vacant table and put her tote bag while Leonard was already putting food on his plate. Penny did the same, getting some eggs, bacon, sliced bread and small fruit bowl. They sat and started to eat. Penny finished eating and went back to get some more food and fruits. Leonard took a couple of glasses of orange juice for them.

Penny sat back after eating, her hunger visibly satisfied. "Ugh...that was good." she told her husband.

"It was….and you ate enough food for two people!" Leonard smiled at her.

"I can't help it….I like free food remember?" she smiled back.

They stood up after a few minutes and made their way to the beach. Leonard found a couple of lounge chairs and put them next to each other under the shade of a few coconut trees for a little shade. Penny took off her beach kimono and put her tote bag on the sand. Leonard did the same with his shirt.

"Honey, put some sunscreen on me please." Penny told her husband as she lay down on the beach chair.

Leonard took the sunscreen and started to apply it all over Penny's body. Penny felt relaxed immediately as Leonard gave her a mini massage with the sunscreen lotion. After Leonard was done, Penny sat up and did the same thing to Leonard. Penny looked at her husband's eyes as she applied the sunscreen on his chest and shoulders.

"You know if we're not in a public place….I'd take you here right now…" she teased him.

"We can go back to our room now if you want?" he teased her back.

"No….we have plenty of time for that later….but for now, we'll just stay here and relax…" she said as she laid down on her chair and stretched out her feet and arms. Penny then saw a beach attendant and ordered a couple of fruit juices for them.

Leonard laid down and took out a book from Penny's tote bag and began to read. He looked over his wife and saw that she was already beginning to doze off. After about twenty minutes, his eyes grew tired from reading and decided to stretch out on his chair. He held Penny's arm as he began to doze off.

Leonard suddenly awoke when he felt Penny shaking him. "Honey wake up…..let's take a swim in the water….come on...the water looks so good!" Penny playfully shook him while smiling at him.

"Ugh….what time is it?" he asked his wife.

"It's a little after ten….come on honey, get up and maybe you'll get lucky…" she winked at him.

"Okay jeez...I'm getting up now!" he said as he stood up and followed Penny to the water. Penny ran playfully while pulling on Leonard's hand. They got in the water and Penny quickly splashed some water towards her husband. Leonard fought back and scooped up some water to splash to his wife. He then grabbed her by the waist and started to kiss her neck. Penny giggled and laughed as she tried to break free from her husband. They made their way into the deeper part of the water while tugging and pulling at each other. They reached the chest-deep part of the sea and Penny immediately wrapped her arms around Leonard's neck and began kissing him deeply. Leonard held on to her waist as he returned her kisses. Penny broke off and hugged him tight. "Honey I'm so happy….I wish we could stay here forever…" she said as she buried her face on his neck.

"Me too honey...me too." Leonard said as he held on to his wife.

"I love you honey!" Penny said to him.

"I love you too!" he said as they kissed. Penny felt something move under the water.

"Hmmm...looks like someone is getting excited…." she smiled and teased Leonard. Leonard's cheeks suddenly reddened. "Honey….we can't here….people will get suspicious….we'll have some after lunch okay?" she bit her lower lip.

"Okay fine." he said as he guided Penny to swim with him. They played and swam in the water for the better part of the hour until Penny decided to go back and get lunch. They made their way to the shore to get their stuff from the beach chairs. They went back to their room and decided to order room service instead of going out to find a diner. Penny went straight to the bathroom to take a shower while Leonard went to the balcony to look at the scenery of the coast below. Their lunch arrived the same time as Penny came out of the bathroom. She was wearing her nightgown shirt while she wrapped a towel around her head. Leonard took their food and set it down at the table by the window. Penny sat down and they began to eat. They finished their lunch in no time and Leonard made his way to the bathroom to get a shower. He was done showering when he heard Penny enter the bathroom to brush her teeth. He turned off the water and grabbed a towel to dry off. He stepped out of the shower and was surprised to see his wife waiting for him. He immediately covered himself as Penny eyed him from head to toe.

"What are you doing mister!?" She folded her arms.

Leonard choked a little. "Uh...what do you mean?" he asked her.

"We're not done with lunch yet…" she raised her eyebrows at him.

"But you already ate all the food?" He said to her. Penny moved closer to him and yanked the towel off him.

"I'm not talking about the food. I'm talking about dessert, jackass!" she said as she gave him a light kiss on the lips. Leonard felt goosebumps and almost fainted. Penny smiled and placed her hand on his hips and pulled him closer. "Hmmm…..hello there!?" she winked at him.

Leonard didn't say a thing as Penny dragged him out of the bathroom and into the bed.

They laid on the bed naked under the covers and trying hard to catch their breath. Penny placed her face onto Leonard's neck and hugged him tight.

"Honey let's get some sleep…" Penny said.

"Sounds good." Leonard said as he hugged his wife.

"Hmmm…." was all Penny could say as they closed their eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep.

Penny woke up around five thirty in the afternoon. Leonard was not in the bed anymore. She turned around and saw him in the balcony, drinking beer. She got up and went straight to the bathroom to wash up. She came out of the bathroom and went straight to her husband and sat on his lap. Penny wrapped her arms around him and buried her face on his neck.

"You slept like a baby." Leonard said kissing her neck as he put aside the bottle of beer.

"I don't want to leave this place Leonard." she said.

"I know what you mean." he added. "Let's go out tonight….we'll look for an open-air restaurant and go dancing….I know you'd love that!" he smiled at her.

"Okay….then after dancing we'll go back here so I could take your pants off…" she winked at him.

Leonard raised his hands in surrender. "My pants are yours." he smiled.

Penny kissed him deeply. "Ugh….I can't get enough of you Hofstadter…..it's like I'm addicted to you…" she said as she held his face.

He hugged her. "You can have as many as you want….I'm yours!" he said. "Now why don't we take a shower so we could go out?" he told her.

Penny got off and took his hands to lead into the bathroom. She pulled him inside and began to undress him. Leonard did the same to his wife as they enter the shower. Penny grabbed him into another kiss as Leonard tried hard to mix the hot and cold water. Leonard returned his wife's advances as they made love under the caress of the lukewarm water.

They were done after half an hour and decided to dry off and go to the bedroom to get dressed for the night. Penny dressed in a long floral dress while Leonard wore khaki shorts and a Hawaiian shirt that Penny prepared for him. It was already sundown when they went out of the hotel and walked along the coast to find a good place to eat and dance. They found an ope-air restaurant with a live band that has just started playing their set. They took their seats and ordered their food. Leonard ordered a seafood dish while Penny settled for a local chicken dish. They were served some wine while waiting for their food to be served to them. Somehow the wine tasted funny to Penny and settled for water instead.

"You don't like the wine!?…..who are you and what have you done to my wife!?" he joked to her.

"That's not funny!" she glared at him. "I don't know what's gotten into me?" she said.

"At least you're not getting sick anymore…..and you're not as pale when we arrived yesterday or on the plane." he held her hand.

She looked at him. "I'm so lucky to have you." she said. "If I'd have my way….I'd drag you back to the hotel right now…" she teased him.

Leonard was a little bit surprised. "But we just did it like an hour ago?….you're not tired or anything?" he asked her.

Penny glared at him. "Leonard, if your wife tells you she wants to have sex, the only words that should come out of you are 'yes' or 'let's go'….got it!" she smiled at him.

"Okay I got it!" he said and smiled at her.

Their food arrived and they started to eat as the live band kept on playing their set. They finished eating and Leonard was amazed with Penny's appetite. It was like she hadn't eaten for days. They sat at their table for a while as Leonard put his arm around Penny. She leaned onto him and kissed his cheek as they listened to the live music.

The band then switched their set into a more upbeat music and several people went to the dance floor. Penny stood up and dragged her husband to dance along the music. They danced, sang along, hugged, kissed and held each other with every song. Seeing his wife this happy and laughing brought a big smile on Leonard's face. He could never ask for more.

They danced throughout the night, taking a rest from time to time. They left the restaurant at around midnight when Penny felt tired. Once inside their suite, Penny dragged Leonard to the bathroom and began undressing him. Once Leonard was naked, she turned around and undressed in front of her husband. Leonard's eyes widened and had difficulty breathing as Penny teased him while getting in the shower. Leonard followed her and pulled her close for a kiss. Penny giggled as she opened the shower knobs to mix the hot and cold water. Leonard wouldn't stop kissing as Penny squirmed and laughed at Leonard's touch.

They went out of the bathroom after an hour of fooling around. Penny got dressed in her one piece night shirt while Leonard chose to wear only his boxing shorts. They got under the covers and embraced each other to sleep.
