Forgotten Doubt-If Lost Please Return to Hydra
Peter woke up with a start. It was unlike many of the other times he woke up. Here he knew exactly what had happened to him. It was kind of unnerving. He took a second to look around at his surroundings. There were no windows, just a heavy duty door. Was it vibranium? How in the world did they get their hands on vibranium? He noticed that he also had a chain connecting from his wrist to the wall behind him that was also vibranium. Glancing around a bit more he noticed another figure sitting now far away. He knew immediately who it was.
"Wanda" He breathed, the scarlet witch jumped up on edge.
"Peter?" She whispered walking a bit closer dropping her fighting stance. She was scratched a bit but looked mostly fine.
"Are you okay?" He asked. She may look fine but heaven knew she might not feel fine.
"I don't know" She started crying hot tears streaming down her face as Peter gave her a hug. Stroking her hair.
Even though she was older than him, times like this really made him realize just how close in age the two were.
"I'm going to get you out of here" He promised pressing a small kiss to the girls head. It wasn't romantic or anything, they were closer to brother and sister. She needed to survive, she was the little sister to everyone despite her age, plus Vision would be heartbroken.
Suddenly his spider sense went of and he shoved Wanda behind him quickly. The door opened to reveal 3 men. One of them, the leader he assumed was sneering at the two. One of them on the side looked old, not as old as the first but younger than the last. The last one looked bored, angry, and even a bit hurt.
"What do you want with us?" Peter demanded. Voice rising in volume as he prepared to attack. Wanda's screaming distracted him as the leader pressed a button on a remote. He looked down at the girl and-somehow-for the first time noticed the gray band going across her small ankle.
"Her? Absolutely nothing" The leader voiced, laughing at Peter's confused glare.
"Than why is she here? What are you doing with her" He asked angrily, sitting down and holding the tear stained witch in his lap.
"For you" The man coldly, "We need…bait?"
"No…not bait….motivation" The second oldest said. Peter didn't say anything. The bored looking one coughed.
"Ah yes where are our manners. William?" The leader said clapping his hands and seeming to brighten up. When so called, 'William' didn't reply the leader rolled his eyes. "this is William as you can tell, I am Dave and this here, is Kyle"
Peter took in each of the men looking at their muscles intensity, deciding which one would be easy to take down and which one would be harder to take down.
"ah, ah, ah" The man replied waving at the teens judging face. "Before you 'take us down' is that what you avengers call it? You should know that we have this" The man pointed to the remote. "And you have her"
With those last words they left leaving Peter and Wanda together. Peter tried pulling at the chain in vain. He pulled Wanda in closer as they fell asleep, since there was nothing else to really do.
The next day Peter woke up to cold water being thrown onto him. He immediately jumped up only to be yanked back down by the chain. Groaning he glanced over at Wanda. She was still asleep but not for long. She was screaming within seconds as the vibranium band buzzed with energy.
"You" William said, pointing at the teenager. The others weren't with him today. "come with me." Peter didn't move. He clicked the remote some more and Wanda's screams of agony echoed in the small room. Taking a deep breath he got up and followed the man out the door.
"What are we doing" Peter asked only to be ignored. "You could at least answer me" Peter grumbled trying to keep up his confidence façade he learned from Tony. When would he be here? shouldn't he be looking for him?
Lost in thought Peter wasn't paying attention to his surroundings and soon enough he emerged into a room. It had dark gray walls with a small chair in the center staring straight ahead. Dave, and Kyle-was that it?-were there standing by the chair as William guided him towards it all the while waving the remote in his hand.
The two men attached a vibranium band, much like the one Wanda wore on her ankle to his neck. His remote was handed to William, who pressed a button causing Peter to scream from the sheer pain of it. Unfortunately, it was not enough for him to pass out, but close enough that his vision got spotty.
"Now, Peter, you will watch this tv" Dave said, pointing to the small square one in front of him. "for the next 12 hours. If you fall asleep well then…"
More shocks.
"It would be…most unfortunate if you were to say….be so disobedient that we had to bring Wanda in here" Dave taunted a smirk on his lips. Peter could only glare.
The TV started. It mostly just had colors like you would if the TV wasn't working. It made a terrible noise and it was extremely bright in contrast to the dark room. Definitely sensory overloading but he sat there. Wanda, was the only one that mattered here. For 12 hours he sat. For 12 hours his memory started slipping. And in 12 hours, he only remembered Wanda and Hydra, Wanda and Hydra.
