I'm sorry, but I wouldn't continue writing that part out. I'm not ever mentioning that in any of my works. That's why the chapter came to a close. Has anyone even noticed that I've been writing more about the guy than the girl? Like seriously!

They're always focusing on the girl when it comes to the scenes in the movies and probably in the books. There's not much about the guy. Heck, there was one time I saw a scene on TV and actually saw the guy's full frontal. It made the news and hardly anyone noticed, which I was surprised.

Also, I don't like writing about women in that manner. I was exposed to pornography at a young age and would never even think of women like that. Most recently, I've been ACCUSED of having thoughts of that nature, and just the idea of that makes me sick! Why would I think ever think about that?

As I've said above, WE NEED MORE GUYS!

EDIT: I just learned that I have reviews, but I cannot see them. I did question it after attempting to view them as a guest, but they're still not showing. According to a forum they said those should show after a few days, so I'm going to try and wait and see.

And with my life outside writing, like I said before I have haters. I know they're there, but I just continue to be me, because I know their problems are with themselves and not me.

Warning: This chapter contains sexual innuendos.

Chapter Twenty-Six: Winter

Haruna:

Months passed, and winter arrived.

The days have gotten a bit colder, but it didn't bother me or Yuki. We were together most of the time staying warm or keeping each other warm. And when I was in the dormitory by myself in my bunk bed, I was warm enough just thinking about him.

Thanks to Kaito, we were able to sort things out between us. It was smooth sailing for us up to this point, and we were able to balance our time together with school and our after-school activities. Not to also mention Yuki's gotten even hotter!

Masuyoshi was still around, but he wasn't trying to flirt with anyone. Kazumi did talk to me about him once, but that was to mention that she knew what was up. From what Yuki told me, I didn't see a point in dwelling on the subject.

"Masuyoshi will marry Shizuna-sensei after we graduate," Konoka told me as we restocked books at Library Island on a Wednesday night. "It turns out he really loves her, but he's also regretting the pain he caused her by sleeping with several people beforehand. Gramps told me it's a secret, but I thought I'd tell you since your gossiping days are coming to an end."

Everyone's typical high school selves were.

"I'm a hypocrite if I talk about that anyway," I bluntly told her. "You already know about Yuki and me. Our relationship's pretty intense already."

Sex every weekend. Either in Yuki's bedroom or a random hotel room in another city. We were really good about keeping it on the down low.

Yuki's parents departed for their universe, and my parents already embraced Yuki as their new son-in-law.

Konoka smiled. "Secchan and I don't even go that far yet."

"But you two did do it."

"Yeah, but we aren't as frequent as you guys."

"That's because you're early."

"That's because we're trying to wait a little bit."

"Try not to let the tension build up."

"It's not as serious as you guys."

"Once you start, you can't stop."

At that point, the smile on Konoka's face faded. "You're right. Secchan's usually busy working as a Shinmei-ryu guard for the school, and she doesn't return until late at night."

Yuki works the same thing and doesn't get back to Evangeline's cabin until late at night either. He'd text me and I'd text back. We really aren't the type of people to check in on each other that frequently.

"She's also having issues with Tsukuyomi."

My eyebrows furrowed. "Her rival from that Shinmei school?"

"Yeah." Konoka's eyes narrowed. "It's stupid, but I think there's something going on with that girl. Like, Secchan hasn't told me about it, but I'm suspecting that I may have a rival."

"Haven't you talked to her about it?" I contradicted. "You might want to do that before you stress yourself out. I don't mind talking to you one-on-one about this, because I know how that is. Yuki was in love with his childhood best friend from his universe before we started dating. She's dead, so I don't really have anything to worry about."

Well, it was true. Chieri was my future husband's first love, but even I couldn't fight about it. He obviously still had feelings for her, and I had to accept it. Konoka's situation however, was a bit different. Setsuna seemed to have something happen between her and Tsukuyomi in their past.

Why was Tsukuyomi stalking her like that?

Konoka sighed. "You're right. I'll just ask her."

Yue and Nodoka now joined us.

"All the books are put away on our side," Nodoka reported. "Konoka, I'll take over from here. Setsuna's at the front desk."

I smirked as Konoka's eyes widened. "Go get her!"

Yue didn't say a word, but as soon as the brunette left, she suspiciously eyed me. "Okay Haru, what's going on?"
"It's not my business to tell," I replied. "She'll talk to you guys about it if she wants, but I've gotten to a point with Yuki that I can't go around talking about relationships anymore."

Because we couldn't keep our hands off each other!

"Well," Nodoka said, smiling, "we haven't hung out in a while. And you're our roommate, so anything that's said in our room stays in our room."

My eyes widened. "Did that seriously just come out of you?"

"You've missed a whole lot while you were out with your man," Yue said. "Anyway, we need to start talking about the wedding. What are Nodoka and I going to wear as your bridesmaids?"

"Interesting question," I replied. "How about we call my mother once we get back to the dorm?"

Yuki:

Oh shit. Haruna's going to have a field day when she hears about this. And it's not about Masuyoshi and Shizuna-sensei.

Evangeline, Chachamaru, and I were standing out on the school grounds, before a familiar face in a rather fancy pink dress. Long brown hair, and a pair of spectacles. The three of us defending the school were ready to fight as we faced her. Trees surrounded us as the dusk skies arrived. A gentle breeze made the leaves of the trees and the grass rustle, but it didn't bother me too much.

Tsukuyomi had walked onto the school grounds.

"You're obviously here for Sakurazaki!" Evangeline said. "What in the bloody hell do you think you've snuck onto this campus to accomplish? She's madly in love with someone else!"

Chachamaru had her attachable gun at the ready. "Master, I'm ready to engage."

"No need for that," Evangeline said, smiling. "Though I'm curious. Why aren't you with Chigusa and Fate?"

Tsukuyomi sighed. "I'm not here to seek a date with her! I'm actually here to forward a warning. A new enemy in one of those ships may have arrived in Kansai about a week ago. It was empty when I found it. They never tracked me down or attacked me, but the ship is still there. About ten kilometers south of the Kansai Magic Association's headquarters if my fellow Shimei would like to see for herself. Please convey that message to Sakurazaki. Thank you for your time."

She bowed and then teleported.

"I knew it!" I exclaimed, throwing my hands up in the air. "Haru-chan and I have been talking about it. After our little showdown with Kaito months ago, we had a discussion about someone possibly seeking revenge."

If they were an enemy, they had to have some connection with Kaito.

"Where is that bloody samurai anyway?" Evangeline asked.

I caught her eye. "Surprising her lover at Library Island."

"Lovely!" she sarcastically exclaimed. "Now where is that bloody quartet of guardswomen the dean hired to help guard these school grounds?"

Zazie was the first one to make our acquaintance followed by Ku Fei, who looked rather surprised.

"What did we miss?" the kung fu girl asked. "Evangeline, what are you and Chachamaru doing here?"

The vampire's vocal volume went up. "WE JUST GOT INFILTRATED BY THAT BLOODY SHINMEI CLASSMATE OF LOVERGIRL'S! WHERE IN THE BLOODY HELL WERE YOU AND THE REST OF THE GUARDSWOMEN?"

"Whoa there!" Mana called from high above. Atop a tree. "No need to get all aggressive! Kaede and I have been here the whole time!"

As she said that, down leapt the ninja out of the trees above. Landing about ten feet away from us and giving a bright smile.

"Being silent and observing the situation is my specialty as a ninja!" Kaede remarked. "And Mana here is a sharpshooter!"

"Who takes after your training of course!" the gun wielding woman replied. "Now Yuki! I wouldn't bother the samurai. She's got the night off to be with her master."

I scoffed. "On a Wednesday night when her stalker decides to show up?"

I remember reading about Tsukuyomi, but I didn't expect her to start stalking Setsuna so late in the game. Honestly, I thought it would be consistent even after Chigusa and Fate were defeated in Kansai.

Then again, that was the manga.

At that very moment, for the first time since I've known her, Evangeline facepalmed. My jaw dropped, and everyone else except Chachamaru looked at me, wondering why I was reacting like that. The vampire actually facepalmed!

I don't believe it!

"By my calculations," the robot chimed in, "I would say that Miss Konoe and Sakurazaki have left Library Island and are heading to her dormitory. When observing the two today, my robotic calculations tell me that those two plan to-"

"WHY IN THE HELL DID SATOMI PROGRAM YOU TO BROADCAST THAT?" snarled the vampire. "YOU'RE MY ROBOTIC ASSISTANT! NOT A GOSSIP ASSISTANT!" She then looked at everyone else, taking a deep breath and calming down before continuing. "As for the rest of you, I'd keep guard over the school grounds in the event that creeper comes back. Yuki, I need you to go to Library Island and inform Haru-chan of the situation."

I firmly nodded. "Don't need to tell me twice!"

Part of me was excited to see her, but I also had to warn her of the impending danger. And I had to notify Setsuna and Konoka about Tsukuyomi. That was when the excitement slightly faded.

Despite the situation, I was happy to have some time in the week to actually see my fiancé. Even though we were still heavily immersed with school. And participating in after-school activities.

Haruna:

I was nearly done with my shift at Library Island when Yuki showed up. A feeling of excitement overcame me as I thought about Setsuna's plan with Konoka earlier, but the look in those bright hazel eyes of his. He looked worried.

"What are you doing here?" I asked. Nodoka and Yue were behind me.

He briefly glanced at them before looking into my eyes. "Haru, I just came to see if things are well over here."

No. That's not true. A woman's intuition never lies, and I could already sense something was wrong. We've been together for years now, and I've grown to know him and how he acted.

"Okay," I replied. "Everything's okay."

No it wasn't. Yuki was hiding something and I knew it. I already knew it when he randomly showed up on a school night in the middle of the week. He gives me my space and texts me before we both go to sleep in our separate beds.

"That's good," he replied, but he didn't lighten up. "Anyway, I just thought I'd stop by and advise you not to travel to and from school alone for the time being."

I shot him a puzzled look. "What?"

"Long story. I'll tell you about it when you're not busy."

"I was just about to have an evening out with my two roommates."

"You should be okay then. See you later."

And then he turned around and walked out of the library without a word. I turned to Yue and Nodoka. Both of them looked at me. Surprised.

"Something must've happened," Yue inferred. "Anyway, let's close this place down and get going."

"Definitely," Nodoka added. "Yue, didn't you say something about going out for dinner at that one place?"

"The one we went to a couple weekends ago when Haru and Konoka went off on their dates? Why not!"

Haven't done one of these scene breaks in a while. Let's see what happens on this dinner gathering.

We arrived at a hibachi grill, but little did we know, we were in for a surprise. Many of our classmates from 3A were already there. In their respective groups including the room of class rep.

"Are you sure there isn't a class function today?" I asked.

Yue and Nodoka looked at each other. A few seconds later, Nodoka fessed up.

"Now I remember!" she said, flustering. "I told Kazumi about this place! She must've told the whole class!"

Luckily, we were able to get a private room with a hibachi table to our own. Away from everyone else. It was a little pricy, but I decided to chip in with a cell phone call from my parents. And the fact they entrusted me to join them in their card plan was their means of allowing me to plan out my wedding to Yuki.

"Your parents must be loaded if they let you have this!" Nodoka said as we sat before the exclusive private hibachi grill.

I blushed. "My mother sold a ton of books lately!"

"On what?" Yue asked, forcing the redness on my face to get even worse. "Oh. That again."

Nodoka's face went red as well. "That."

Over the years I opened up to them. They were unaware of my mother's specialty until Yuki showed up and we fell in love. I had to ask them for advice when I wanted to introduce my guy to them. Before he found out what she did for a living.

Thank God they stayed my friends!

"Anyway," Yue continued, "I haven't seen Konoka anywhere."

"She probably went some place secret with Setsuna again," Nodoka said. "They've been trying to avoid everyone in class because they're kind of serious."

"They're engaged anyway," Yue said. "They just don't know when they plan on getting married."

Yuki told me he knew about them. He said it'd be a while. Those two were close friends in the beginning, so I can understand why they wanted to take it slow.

"Speaking of marriage," I said, sighing, "Yuki and I are months away from tying the knot."

And juggling starting a family with the post high school life.

"You must be excited," Yue said, smiling. "I never thought you'd get married so fast. We expected you to become a successful author long before that."

Nodoka nodded and smiled. "You have a creative mind. And your luckier to have Yuki to be there to support you."

I'm lucky all around. Being with him keeps me happy. And he keeps me inspired to be myself. Even if I made a couple of changes to my appearance.

Yuki:

I had to make sure things were well with Haruna, but I couldn't take the time to tell her how I truly felt.

Retreated to Evangeline's cabin after that meeting. The three of us were going to go out for dinner at this popular hibachi place, but we decided to stay on school grounds to keep an eye out for Tsukuyomi or any new enemy who tried to attack.

"Tsukuyomi just doesn't get that her crush is betrothed," Evangeline said as we sat at the dinner table, shaking her head. "That bloody fool thinks she can infiltrate the school grounds and somehow try to convince that swordswoman guard of the dean's granddaughter that she's a better match."

"They are of similar backgrounds," Chachamaru inferred. "I wouldn't be surprised if she had an impression on Setsuna."

"But Setsuna already imprinted herself on Konoka," I added.

Evangeline shot me a look. "I…don't think I should have heard that."

"I overheard her earlier today," Chachamaru said. "She needed to talk to Setsuna about something."

I brushed off the subject. "Probably just wedding plans. Anyway, what are we going to do in the event a new enemy surfaces? And What about Fate?"

"We'll be ready for him," Evangeline said. "Boy, you may not be a mage, but you have the capabilities to counter that fool. Even without my help."

"I sure do hope so," I replied. "Because if I have to chase that asshat outside city limits on a daring rescue to save Konoka from the Hoganji faction's grasp, I'm definitely going to need all the skill I can learn off anyone to do so."

Which was true. If he were capable of taking out Kaito in one blow, there was no telling what he could do to me. Definitely will need a good amount of skill.

Evangeline looked the other way for a moment, obviously deep in thought. "Fate conjured a spell that even I wouldn't have used. Unless the enemy was that overwhelming, and I haven't encountered that in a very long time!"

Images of Nagi Springfield were in her mind. My telepathy had gotten stronger to where I could briefly visualize what people were seeing in their minds. Visual memories of their pasts, but I did my best not to dwell on it. After all, that was her personal memory and not of any concern to me.

"Master," Chachamaru said, "when the day comes, I shall be ready to equip myself with my best weapons and do my best to annihilate your enemy."

Um…Chachamaru…I don't think that would be necessary. She obviously has the capabilities of fighting off two powerful mages at once. Like she did back in Kansai with Chigusa and Fate.

Then again, Chachamaru was the one who took down that giant demon Chigusa summoned.

"You have two who will be willing to fight alongside you then!" I enthusiastically told her, giving her my thumb up of approval. "Eva-chan, you'll have a robot AND a superhero to fight alongside you."

"You're not my servant," Evangeline told me with a smile. "I'm flattered by the offer, but Chachamaru and I are a two-person team. We work alongside each other defending the grounds of Mahora Academy and most recently the surrounding city of Mahora. Thanks to that little boy of a mage who has a good amount of spells to learn before he joins the ranks of his father."

The Thousand Master. Master of a thousand spells. That's how I see it. Professor Negi is the descendant of a legendary mage. Which led to his early graduation as a mage and why he became a professor.

"He continues to grow in the number of spells by the days," Chachamaru revealed. "I've been talking to Asuna lately. Because someone who should be talking to her hasn't lately."

Her eyes caught mine.

Evangeline smirked, also looking in my direction. "Ooooh! I like what Satomi has done to your attitude, robot! And I'm curious. Did Asuna ask to see Yuki?"

The robot nodded.

"I'll see her tomorrow then," I said, slightly irate. "I'm surprised she said it to you when we're in the same classroom every day."

"But you're busy hanging out with your future wife!" the vampire quipped. "Maybe you should actually talk to her. Tonight."

"I'd rather not-"

"Tonight!"
