Chapter 39 My Friends Are My Power

Sora's POV

I watched in horror as the Master of Masters hoisted Kairi into the air!

Then...she yelled out in pain!

"Kairi", I yelled.

Then...I started running.

I scaled the palace wall and when I got to the top of it, I summoned my Keyblade and striked the Master of Masters with it! Then I grabbed onto Kairi.

"Are you okay", I asked.

"Yeah", Kairi replied. "I'm fine."

"How sweet", the Master of Masters said causing me to look at him. "The false king has come to save his princess."

Hearing this made me to glare at the Master of Masters before putting Kairi down.

"I'm not the false king here", I pointed out. "You are!"

"Oh really", the Master of Masters asked. "Then why do I have the Crystal Heart?"

"Because you stole it", Kairi pointed out.

"Or maybe the Crystal Heart realized who the true True King was", the Master of Masters said.

"That is not true", Kairi stated before gesturing to all our friends. "Look at all those people! They came here because of Sora! Because Sora is a caring person who will put his life on the line for anyone! That's why he's the true True King!"

Hearing this took me by surprise.

Then...I smiled at Kairi before grabbing onto her hand.

"Thank you Kairi", I said.

Then...I summoned my Keyblade and looked at the Master of Masters.

"Let's end this once and for all."

With that...I charged at the Master of Masters and tried to strike him, but he made a shield around himself and blocked me.

Then Kairi ran up to the Master of Masters and tried to strike him, but was stopped by the shield.

"We need to do something about that shield", I pointed out.

"I've got that", Kairi revealed.

Then...she transformed her Keyblade into a glowing whip!

Then...the whip wrapped itself around the Master of Masters!

"What is this", he asked in anger.

"Now Sora", Kairi commanded.

Then...I ran up to the Master of Masters and tried to strike him.

Before I could, he broke free from the whip...and grabbed onto my neck!

"Sora", Kairi yelled out.

"This is why you are not the True King", the Master of Masters stated. "You are far too weak."

After the Master of Masters said this...I looked at all my friends and remembered Kairi's words.

"Look at all those people! They came here because of Sora! Because Sora is a caring person who will put his life on the line for anyone! That's why he's the true True King!"

After I remembered these words...I looked at the Master of Masters...and said this.

"I am not weak", I stated. "My friends are my power!"

With that...I kicked the Masters of Masters and got out of his grip.

Then...as I thought of my friends...I shot a bright bream of light...and that light covered everything.
