A/N: I'm having a blast writing these chapters for all of you and I hope that you can continue to support me with my writing!

This chapter is a bit angsty, sorry.

The years were flying by for Konstantin and he wanted to ask Carmilla one thing that he always wanted to, but was too nervous to bring up with her. It was on the subject of why she never turned Laura or him into a vampire. He understood that she didn't have a choice in the matter, but he wanted to become one like her. He was tired of living a boring human life even though his parents did their best to make it exciting for him.

"For the last time, Konstantin, I won't turn you into a vampire like me!"

"Why the hell not?"

"You will have to go through hell if I ever turn you. It isn't like what you read in your fictional books about vampires. This is real life, it's also my life. I wouldn't put Laura through it and neither will I do it with you."

"Being a human is boring and a waste of time! Haven't you thought about what would happen when Mom dies?!"

"She won't die!"

"You think you can save her? As Mom and I age, you stay young forever. I don't want you to be left alone."

Carmilla sighed, "You got your stubbornness from Laura."

"And from you."

"I can't turn you, Konstantin."

"Then you'll just have to watch us slowly die then. Is that what you want?"

"Of course not, but I have no choice!"

"You're so selfish."

"What did you say?"

"I said that you're selfish."

Carmilla grabbed onto Konstantin's shirt and lifted him up off the ground.

"Don't you dare ever say that to me again!"

"Carm, put our son down!"

Carmila let him go and Konstantin said, "I wish you weren't my Mom!"

As he stormed out of the living room, Laura saw how defeated Carmilla looked. Being a Mother was all that she wanted to be and as she saw Kylie growing up, she saw how difficult it was at times for Emma and Regina. But no matter what happened, she knew that Kylie loved her parents very much as she loved her son.
