A/N: Hello. Sorry I took so long on the chapter. I was just trying to get caught up on the other stories. But I've prepared what could be the most epic battle in the Tournament of Power so far. And as you read on, you'll see it's for good reason. I hope you like it, because you won't be seeing a new chapter for a while.
Chapter 29: "Pure Saiyan vs. Rogue God; Zamasu's Overwhelming Power!"
First, it showed the two sets of twins charging each other and engaging in fisticuffs, with Kamin against 17 and Oren against 18. 17 dodged most of Kamin's punches and kicks, making her curious as she tried to force him to do something other than dodge before 17 caught her fist with his right hand before delivering a blast with his left, knocking her past the tower of debris before 17 gave chase. After that, Oren and 18 both traded blows at equilibrium so far. The pace went on until they backed away from each other. 18's getaway would've been clean if it weren't for her ankle. Unfortunately, she landed on it, making a cracking sound and earning a wince from 18. Oren saw his cue and delivered a left punch to the gut, making 18 groan before the twins used this as an opportunity to grab onto 18's leg and 17's arm and turned into energy particles, the former being blue and the latter pink before getting into their skin, mainly through the wounds they'd received during battle, with 18's from her ankle, and 17's from his arm where he tore his sleeve. In the process, 17's hair turned white with his eyes becoming blue pupils while his face received red markings like he was a machine, with 18 undergoing the same changes. In that moment, Kamin, now inside 17, burst her aura while Oren did the same in 18's with his blue aura as the narrator spoke.
"Previously on Dragon Ball Super, the Tuffle Twins of Universe 6 began vicious combat with the Androids, and have already proven themselves a force to be reckoned with. The situation appeared to be even worse when they took over 17 and 18's bodies for their own personal use."
"Sorry, guys, but your bodies..."
"...belong to us now."
Later, Oren and Kamin blindsided Leek, though she was able to react just in time to catch their feet. She followed it up with a quick throw to the ground for them. Despite this, the twins recovered from the fall with their hands, showing great teamwork as they countered with a blast at her from below, making Leek cross her arms to block them as she fell to the ground.
The twins quickly took the opportunity to counter as Oren appeared behind Leek and did a full-nelson to hold her back as Kamin lunged at her, aiming to kick her in the gut, only for her to turn herself around with Oren still holding on to her, making Kamin kick Oren in the back. As a result, Oren released Leek from the impact before she somersaulted on the floor and used the momentum to turn towards them and fire her Muffin Bomb at the twins, triggering a massive explosion that vibrated the arena. When the smoke cleared, Kamin was using 17's barrier to shield themselves... and it was cracked.
"Then, the twins attacked Leek next, only to get ambushed by her boundless growing power. Until..."
"That's enough."
The twins and Leek turned over to see Baby on a pillar with a smirk.
"I believe she's proven her strength well enough by now."
Leek made a small scowl towards Baby, having pieces together what he had planned.
"Let me guess, you sent them after me?"
"Of course, my dear. How else were you to reach new heights in power?"
Leek's scowl then turned into a smile as she faced him.
"I suppose I should be flattered."
"I hoped you would be. I wouldn't want to disappoint my queen."
Leek's eyes closed before she spoke.
"You'd make a lowly Saiyan your queen?"
"Well, no one is perfect. But my cells can change that. That is, if you would accept."
Leek stood still for a moment before walking towards the Tuffle. He was convinced her answer was yes, each step she took further verifying it. She kept walking until she stopped in front of Baby, who began to chuckle in eagerness.
"At last... you'll be mine..."
His hands hovered her shoulders before Leek spoke gently.
"Sorry, Baby..."
Just then, Leek's eyes opened to show blue eyes, catching Baby by surprise as she spoke in Leek's voice.
"But she's already taken!"
With that, Leek's hair turned white with a red scar appearing over her face before she burst her aura with a shout, pushing Baby back as he was struck by how suddenly his plan failed. All the while, Leek began to form dark grey armor over her current outfit with black coloring below the grey armor that went over her chest. Then, her skin took on a lighter mint blue color with her blue eyes taking on a new color of emerald green. Having witnessed this himself, Baby was caught by surprise rather quickly.
"What the heck are you?!"
"Seriously, Baby? Don't you know a Tuffle when you see one?"
Then, Zach-Leek's aura dissipated as Oren-18 and Kamin-17 stood by him while Baby's teeth gritted harder, threatening to break apart from the pressure while holding his right palm out towards him and preparing a dark purple orb as the narrator spoke.
"In a surprising twist, Zach ambushed Baby by using Leek's body and the assistance of the twins to draw Baby out and vanquish him."
"I... will never be a memory...! NEVER! BIG BANG ATTACK!"
Baby didn't hesitate to launch it at Zach-Leek, who quickly fired a Muffin Bomb.
The resulting collision triggered an explosion that created smokescreen, making Baby growl before he spoke viciously.
"You think that dust will keep you safe?!"
While it began to clear some, Baby's rage boiled over as he began to fire viciously at it to get a clear view of the arena. When his rampage was done, the smokescreen was no more, but his rapidly firing blasts left him more tired. He was getting worn out... his breathing became more ragged. To make matters worse, Oren-18, Kamin-17, and Zach-Leek surrounded him with the twins by his sides and their big brother in the middle.
The trio ran towards Baby with Oren-18 leaping at Baby first before Kamin-17.
"Crash Break!"
"Smash Break!"
With that, Zach-Leek leaped up towards him as he shouted.
"Onslaught Thrust!"
In unison, the trio formed a barrier each around them, one in pink, the other, blue, and the third in grey before before exploding in harmony, launching Baby a great distance away from the arena as he fell into the chasm of nothingness below him, shouting in agony over his defeat until he vanished and appeared in Universe 9's bench beside Towa, Mira, and Dabura as the Grand Minister announced the vanquished.
"With the combined powers of their explosive techniques, Baby and his plan for Multiversal domination were thwarted."
"Contestant Baby from the 9th Universe has officially been eliminated."
This made Sen relieved as she took a deep breath before speaking to herself.
"Thank goodness. I didn't want that scary man to win."
In that moment, Future Zamasu could be seen walking amidst the arena, seemingly oblivious to the carnage around him as he set his sights on the one he's been promised a fight with: Goku.
"However, the tournament was far from over. And a new battle was set to begin."
Goku turned behind him to see Future Zamasu bearing an indifferent grin. He could tell by the outfit that this must by the Zamasu from the future timeline that came with the other Black. From experience, he could already guess who he's here for.
"I guess it was coming a long way."
"Indeed. I trust you desire to fight me?"
Goku then gave him a scowling grin as he got in his fighting stance.
"Don't I always?"
Zamasu returned the grin with his own as he entered his own stance, holding his hands in front of him as the narrator spoke.
"Zamasu's long-awaited rematch begins, now!"
Play Kai Music: "Unsettled City"
Goku and Zamasu were staring each other down, each in their own respective stances as the latter had a smirk on his face. Goku recognized it all too well. He must still be relying on his invincibility. Either that, or he's somehow learned a different power. But he isn't a Saiyan, so what were the odds of that, he wondered.
"Just so you know, your invincibility isn't gonna help, Zamasu. All that means is that I won't have to hold back."
"Oh? Is that right? So I take it you'll go full power from the start, then?"
Goku actually gave a little scoff at that as a response. He knew that if he were to expend all his energy, he'd leave himself vulnerable to the other opponents. And he wasn't gonna chance it.
"Actually, to be honest, I'm not sure I need to yet. I can tell you are strong, but for now, the way I am now is enough."
Future Zamasu only smirked at him as he guessed why.
"Heh. Sizing me up to gauge my power, eh?"
"That's right. So what?"
"I wouldn't suggest such a thing, Goku. Because if you hold back on me, you'll perish..."
Goku glared back at him with a grunt in response.
"Oh, yeah? And what's Grand Zeno gonna say about you killing me off? That's against the rules, isn't it?"
"Perhaps, but all other mortals are inconsequential. My other selves may be willing to forgive and forget, but as you can see, I harbor no such intention."
Goku grunted again as Future Zamasu smiled wickedly as Gine took notice of such a malicious smile, much to Beerus and Lila's shock as they noticed it, too.
"Why is that man looking at Kakarot that way?"
"Unfortunately, that man is the Supreme Kai in training, Zamasu. Unlike the one in our reality, this one still hated Goku with a vengeance for challenging him at Universe 10. And he's not going to stop until Goku's dead for good."
"We can't let that failure of a Kai do this! It has to be against the rules, right?!"
Shin placed his hand on Lila's before he looked to her.
"Yes, Lila, it is. Surely, Grand Zeno can't tolerate such a vicious undertaking. Besides, it's highly improbable for that to happen. I've witnessed his fight against him myself."
Watching more closely, Elder Kai determined a frightening outcome to say the least as he spoke.
"I hope you're right. Something about that Zamasu is telling us we should prepare for the worst."
The two of them stood in silence for a moment before Zamasu set his hands down and resumed standing in place as he began to take a deep breath, confusing Goku for a moment as he thought to himself.
"What's he doing just standing there? Is he still relying on his invincibility?"
End Kai Music: "Unsettled City"
In Zamasu's point of view, as he closed his eyes, he could clearly see the blazing white aura of his foe before he swiftly opened his eyes as they flowed bright silver, catching Goku by surprise as he twitched his eyes with a grunt before a large white-purple pillar rose to the air while Future Zamasu gave a distorted yell. As a result, it sent a massive shockwave that forced Goku back while it's tremors spread to the other fighters, even the spectators as Mai, shielded Cura from the gust of wind as Bulma spoke before Paragus and Beerus as the latter realized where it came from.
"T-That's nuts!"
"What kind of power is that?! It's not anywhere close to a Saiyan's!"
"It's not. Who would've thought that Zamasu would've actually mastered it?"
This concerned Lila as she caught on to what he was talking about.
"Mastered what?! Wait a minute! Don't tell me—!"
As for Grand Zeno and Sen, the Omni-King was enjoying it greatly while the little girl was conflicted.
"How amazing! I wonder what will happen next!"
"I don't know... if anything, I'm a little scared."
When the huge gust of wind dissipated, Goku could see a silver-purple aura all over him, as well as his mohawk being tilted upward. Even worse, it seemed to be generating a massive heat as Goku felt it. That could only mean one thing.
"Oh, give me a break! You could use Ultra Instinct, too?!"
Overhearing Goku's words, Champa widened his mouth in shock as he stammered before Cae turned to Belmod in shock as the latter spoke while intriguing Black from the other reality before coming to a realization himself as Future Zamasu snickered.
"It can't be! It can't! It's impossible!"
"I see. So, this is what becomes of my other self... heh. If his body and mine are the same... then it is only a matter of time before I achieve such power."
"Now, do you believe me, Goku? From the sound of it, you're starting to realize the truth in my words."
Goku gave a small chuckle before he replied.
"Yeah. I'm not gonna lie; I think I'm in some trouble."
"That'd be putting it mildly at this point. But if you wish to fight anyway, go ahead. Try as you might, though, you cannot surpass a god who wields Ultra Instinct in his grasp."
"We'll just have to see about that, won't we?"
Goku focused intensely on Future Zamasu as a drop of sweat was rolling off his face. When it fell to the floor and splashed, Goku powered up and fired a Kamehameha at Future Zamasu, only for it to swerve away, as if it hit a wall. Iwen was alarmed to say the least, as well as his Supreme Kai.
"Goodness!"
"It seems Zamasu's new form has allowed him to brush off his attack like it was a simple energy blast."
As the battle progressed, Shin was unsure about Goku's ethics while Lila gave a serious look.
"Why isn't Goku at Super Saiyan Azure? I hope he doesn't think Zamasu's beneath him."
"No, Shin. It's the exact opposite of what's going on. He's testing Zamasu's new strength along with his own."
After it subsided, Future Zamasu suddenly teleported just behind Goku with a silver-purple energy blade outstretched as he suddenly gagged before three silver-purple energy slashes appeared and caused Goku great agony as he shrieked before he suddenly lurched to a crater and crashed into it, much to Gine's fear as she shouted.
"Kakarot, no!"
However, this didn't deter the Saiyan as Goku turned Super Saiyan and darted to Future Zamasu. He performed a flurry of punches and kicks, doing no damage to him as they were evaded with relative ease. Then he turned Super Saiyan 2 and aimed a kick in the face. However, Future Zamasu caught his foot before suddenly sending a shockwave on it, pushing him away as he flipped before landing to the floor. After that, Zamasu began to laugh, angering Goku to the point of him beginning to attack him mercilessly as his devilish smile made him remember the time when he killed Chi-Chi and Goten in a separate reality. That was enough to drive him over the edge as he shouted.
"YOU BASTARD!"
All the while, Shin became confused about her hypothesis.
"What are you talking about, Lila?"
"You see, Martial Artists, especially master-level types, want to fight their enemies after bringing out their full power. By seeing how strong their opponent is and showing their power too, that's how great battles start. And how you'll use your power in the best possible way."
This made Gine worried about another topic.
"But what if Zamasu doesn't care and finishes him anyway?"
"There's no chance in heck that he is, Gine. Zamasu's been wanting some payback on Goku, right? So he intends to fight him at full power. But you're not wrong, though. At the moment, he wanted to test his power, too. Maybe he's sizing himself up just like he is."
Seeing it play out like this, and after understanding how Saiyans fight themselves through experience, Bulma thought it made sense.
"Lila's not wrong. I'm sure they both see this as an chance to test their strength and push themselves to new heights."
"Yeah, Bulma. You got that right. Martial artists are the same, no matter what generation or universe they come from."
Lila looked back to Goku in concern as he was easily overpowered.
"Come on... We're counting on you, Goku!"
Goku leapt away from Future Zamasu and turned Super Saiyan God, trying to land a blow on him, only for him to catch it with his open hand sending a huge gust of air from impact. As luck would have it, Lila saw the bright side of it.
"Alright, he moved! Keep it up, Goku!"
Goku began to rapidly attack him with Zamasu continuously blocking him with his hand until he gave a shout and sent a silver-purple energy orb at him, pushing him away again as the orb traveled with him. Then, he flipped his body, going around the orb before pushing himself away from the orb seconds before it exploded. As he faced Zamasu again, Goku was starting to see the problem.
"You can't really get as serious the way I am, can you?"
"Well, lately, everything else is nothing but a bore."
Goku changed back to normal in response before he spoke again.
"Then I guess I have no choice."
Goku started to yell as he powered up, leaving Future Zamasu smiling as a gust of wind came from him. Suddenly, his whole body was coated in blue energy before it dissipated to reveal him in his Super Saiyan Azure form, but with one major difference. Unlike before, his hair was now in a darker shade of blue, his eyes began to have dark blue pupils, and his aura began to sparkle with stars around it. Seeing this form, Future Zamasu merely raised an eyebrow in curiosity as he hadn't see this level of power in his reality before Belmod and Cae spoke up.
"Wow. He's showing the full power of Super Saiyan Sapphire. Of course, even that will prove pointless."
"Not so. In a different way, it could prove quite useful, in fact. Though, I'm not sure it's for even our benefit. He must want him as strong as possible when he loses."
"And why does that matter?"
"Watch and you'll see."
Sure enough, almost everyone was watching the battle between Goku and Zamasu, even the Zamasu from the former's reality beside Kari, as well as Caulifla, Cabba, Kale, Broly, Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks, 21, Artich, and Tenshi as Cae spoke again.
"This man Goku may be one of the best warriors in the whole Tournament of Power. And Zamasu always had a deep distrust of mortals. Perhaps he realized that if he fights with everything he has and yet Zamasu still pummels him easily, the remaining contestants in the ring will realize they have no chance and lose their will to compete. That can leave an opening for Akamu and his subordinates to take them all out easily."
This made Belmod growl as he looked to the battlefield.
"That self-righteous upstart. He's smart using Goku as an example, I'll give him that. But I doubt Jiren would respond to that message lightly."
However, Margarita didn't see a need to count them all out just yet as he reminded him about .
"Perhaps, but he shouldn't forget about the dangers of overconfidence, my lord, especially with Jiren involved."
"Hmm. You're right. That would be true, for any other fighter. But we're talking about Jiren here. Even if the others give up, he cannot be defeated. Overconfidence would be impossible."
After he finished powering up, Goku walked up to Zamasu and stood in front of him as he smirked.
"Hmph. So, you've accessed a new blue color, have you?"
"Well, it does seem to be the only form that might have a chance against Ultra Instinct so far. At least until I try to master it myself."
Future Zamasu smirked deeply at Goku.
"That's never going to happen, Goku. Because now is the time... for your abject humiliation, worthy of Grand Zeno himself!"
Suddenly, Goku was pushed back before Zamasu gave chase aura blade first as he aimed to plunge it in Goku, only for Goku to block it with his arms as they went through a mountain of debris with Zamasu laughing as he pushed him back before they both came out and did a flurry of attacks up close before Zamasu slashed him farther away before teleporting and kicking him to the ground and firing repeated silver-purple energy blasts on him, causing a smokescreen to come up as Zamasu was grinning maniacally. Gine saw the terror for herself with tears in her eyes and began to tremble.
"Why can't he stop?! He'll kill him!"
Lila tried to keep her breath steady as she watched the carnage before she thought to herself.
"Please, Goku. Please hang on...!"
Suddenly, as if to answer her prayers, Goku went Super Saiyan Sapphire Kaioken as he charged past Zamasu's blasts and aimed to hit him, only for him to vanish before reappearing with his aura blade ready to strike him down before swiftly bringing it upon his back, knocking him to the ground before giving chase as he tried to slash at him, only for Goku to move away just in time for him to attack the crater before he turned to see Goku with a Kamehameha ready before he launched it.
Zamasu anticipated it as he vanished before the blast faded, making Goku worries as he suddenly reappeared and kicked him in the gut, making him gag before repeatedly kicking him and using the final hit to push him to a mountain of debris with a flip before using his silver-purple aura blade to sprout three hooks that went near Goku and attached themselves to the wall that held him before pulling on it, taking Goku with it as it was ripped right off the mountain before he prepared an energy orb, aimed directly at his chest before it collided, sending the blast straight through him and the wall as it broke apart before Goku ended up on his knees as he fell backward and was out of breath.
It didn't much matter to Zamasu as he held him by his hair and prepared his silver-purple blade on his hand and swiftly pierced through Goku's chest, earning his loud cries of pain as he smirked.
"I told you, didn't I? If you held back, you'd die..."
Gohan heard Goku's cries and tried to run over to him.
"Don't worry, Dad. I'm coming to help!"
However, Future Zamasu heard his voice and turned to Gohan. After which, he made a vicious glare at Gohan that suddenly pushed him back with an apparent punch in the gut, severely damaging him, much to Piccolo and Trunks' worries as they went over to him.
"Gohan!"
"Are you okay?"
"Barely. I didn't even see it coming..."
Meanwhile, Caulifla, Kale, and Broly saw Goku's plight and became concerned as the first of the three spoke.
"Just wait here with Broly for me, you got that?"
"Wait, no. You can't go, not yet. We should still be laying low."
"I don't care! You really expect me to just sit back and watch while he does this to Goku? I gotta help him...!"
However, even Broly suggested against ot as he spoke.
"No."
This caught Caulifla off-guard as she turned to him.
"Huh? Whaddaya mean 'no'?!"
"Kakarot won't like that. He'd want to settle it by himself. It's the only way he'll master it, too."
This made Caulifla widen her eyes once she realized what he was talking about.
"Wait a second. You mean he's trying to get that power-up, too...?"
Meanwhile, Zamasu removed his aura blade, making Goku scream even worse before Zamasu spoke.
"Consider this punishment for my erasure, Saiyan."
With that, he prepared his Divine Splitter again before instantly pushing it through Goku, knocking him through several debris mountains as the dust rose up quickly before Future Zamasu smirked as Goku looked at the torn shreds of his clothes that Future Zamasu dealt to him, shocking him. It was getting harder and harder for him to believe as Future Zamasu teleported behind him.
"What's wrong, Goku? Is your resolve beginning to waver?"
However, Goku didn't talk back to him. Seeing it happen, Lila began to get worried as she spoke before Shin.
"I can't believe it. I knew Zamasu got strong, but I didn't think he'd be that powerful."
"Maybe. But I don't think he's done yet. With his current power level, he has just enough to multiply it with a Kaioken X20."
However, Beerus grumbled from hearing this before he spoke, making Lila worried before Whis explained.
"It's no use..."
"What? What do you mean?"
"He means there's no point in trying to tell Goku to use Kaioken X20. He already tried that very technique in his last assault."
This caught the group by surprise and terror as Paragus trembled his fists.
"Are you kidding me?!"
In the meantime, Gine began to look towards Goku as tears appeared in her eyes while Future Zamasu grew quite displeased with this action.
"Fine. If you want me to end it, I will. It's only merciful. But you should know, after I get rid of you, I shall wipe out every last fighter on this arena, and complete my Project Zero Mortals with the Super Dragon Balls. Perhaps I'll start with your Universe. I've killed your family before, so I'll take great pleasure in doing so again: permanently!"
This statement earned Goku's gasp of anger and his tensed snarl as Cabba became surprised.
"No way! Was he planning to stab us in the back this whole time?!"
Meanwhile, Vegetto only gave a soft grumble as he spoke to himself.
"You just couldn't let that go, could you?"
Future Zamasu laughed harder for everyone in the Null Realm to hear.
"I shall prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the Gods shall inherit the multiverse as their rightful place! And do you know the best part? There's absolutely nothing, not one thing, you can do to prove otherwise. Is there?"
Goku snarled harder at Future Zamasu as a response. Future Zamasu scoffed as he spoke.
"Still nothing to say? Perhaps I prefer it, anyway."
With that, he shifted his aura blade to a scythe and raised it high. He prepared to swing the back of the scythe to knock Goku off the arena.
"Farewell, Goku."
Seeing the inevitable happen, Gine began to breathe heavily as tears fell down her face before shouting in agony.
"No! NO! DON'T YOU DARE DIE, KAKAROT! DON'T YOU DARE!"
Zamasu overheard her desperate plea in an echo and became somewhat intrigued.
"Oh? So, this is what it's like to hear the lamentation of a mortal's woman. To think I've denied myself this sensation up until now... perhaps I'll let her speak her peace."
Given the chance, Gine continued to shout to him as her voice was beginning to break.
"You remember, don't you?! The day you left us?! What your father told you to do?!"
This made Goku give a gasp as the memory popped up in his head.
In that memory, Goku witnessed his parents on the other side of what appeared to be a pod as Bardock spoke to him.
"Listen, son. You do what it takes to survive. Got it?"
As Goku's tears began to go down on their own, Gine continued to shout to him.
"He said what he said back then because he knew you're more than just a low-class Warrior! And you know that you're more than just a mortal! So, please get up! Get up and survive! GET UP AND HELP EVERYONE SURVIVE!"
This made Goku lightly gasp as he spoke softly.
"Everyone...?"
Then, Goku began to tense his fists before Future Zamasu turned to the woman for a moment and then back to Goku.
"Are you done? Because if you don't mind, I intend to execute divine justice that's had a long time coming!"
With that, Future Zamasu swung the scythe with a shout, only to hear the impact of a thud. To his surprise, Goku held the scythe back with his hands as he grunted.
"Impossible...! With Ultra Instinct, you should've been cut down the middle!"
"I already know how strong you are, Zamasu. I gotta say, you outplayed me. Hard to believe that's how powerful Ultra Instinct is, and I've only seen it a few times."
Then he pushed the scythe back before changing back to his normal state making Vegetto turn to see this change as he spoke.
"Oh. So, now you're finally going to try it?"
"And that's convinced me to use something I've been holding back! You might even know about something like that already!"
Zamasu knew all too well what he spoke of as he growled. After all, Trunks unintentionally called it forth to aid him in vanquishing his fused self. All the same, he welcomed the challenge.
"So, you do have some fight left in you."
With that, Goku went up to the mountain with peak efficiency. As soon as he went up, he raised his hands toward the sky. Gine became confused to see such a movement before Lila spoke up.
"Hold on. Isn't that—?"
Even Bulma knew what it was as she spoke.
"He must be trying to use a Spirit Bomb!"
All the same, she was confused about it's mechanics as she turned to Shin.
"Wait. Why didn't Goku stay in Super Saiyan Blue for this?"
"I was told once that as a Super Saiyan, he's fueled by rage, so he can't gather spirit energy that way."
"Okay. But what if it kills him?"
"Not likely. Zamasu's invincible, so it would most likely push him through the arena and knock him out."
Goku then began to shout to the others at the top of his lungs.
"Everyone, please! Everyone, in the arena or not, if you're still here, share your energy with me so we can all defeat Zamasu together!"
Gohan, Trunks, and Piccolo wasted no time at all as they spoke up while holding their hands up.
"Take as much of mine as you need!"
"Count me in!"
"Yeah, same here!"
17, 18, and Tenshi agreed to it as well as they smiled.

Far away, Vegeta, proud as he was, wanted to make Zamasu pay for what he did to Trunks as he wasn't quite forgiving.
"Fine, I'll give you my energy, Kakarot! Just make that monster pay!"
With that, he gave his energy reluctantly as Frieza himself gave a chuckle before he offered up his own energy in the mix.
"Ha, ha, ha! I know that move quite well. And while I've only had bad memories of it, it is a new day! Emperor Frieza bestows upon you his energy!"
Far away, Xicor and Ize followed suit as they held their hands up.
"Well, it would be interesting to see how it plays out."
"For once, that's the one thing we can agree on, mother's boy."
On the other hand, Vegetto only scoffed at it.
"That's your plan? Oh, well, screw it. At least it's better than nothing. But you better promise to use your instinct like I told you, got that?"
Thanks to the energy everyone was willing to share, Goku started procuring the Spirit Bomb above him. But sadly, it wasn't enough.
"Thanks, everyone! But it's still too small. I'm gonna need a lot more time to gather enough energy."
On that matter, Zamasu put his mind to rest.
"You can take your time. I know that move from anywhere. Just make sure you don't disappoint me."
Goku chuckled at Zamasu in odd gratitude.
"Alright. I'm surprised. That's really nice of you."
However, the crowd of Universe 11 knew better as Cae spoke to Belmod prior to Margarita sharing her own thoughts.
"Zamasu's getting Goku's hopes up before he crushes it and him completely with a move of even greater might."
"A simple but effective approach."
"I must confess I feel uneasy, my lord."
Belmod then decided to ease up and cut to the chase.
"Alright, Goku. If it'll put that creep in his place, you can have my energy, too."
Far away, Ribrianne and the other super-powered maidens were watching it all as she spoke before Kakunsa and Rozie.
"He really does have Love after all."
"Not just of us or our universe..."
"...but to every person here."
"Alright! We'll give him our energy, too! Show Zamasu the power of love, Goku!"
Ribrianne and the maidens raised their hands to the sky and gave their energy to the orb before Leek, Zach, and the twins joined in.
"You better not let us down!"
"If you think it'll help, we won't stop you."
"You think maybe our power could help out, Kamin?"
"Well, there's no harm in trying, Oren."
Next, it was Krillin, 21, and Artich's turn next.
"Goku!"
"You can go ahead and use our energy, too!"
"You're welcome to use some of mine!"
Even Broly, Caulifla, Cabba, and Kale, pitched in to help as the first of the group looked on in amazement.
"So, I hold them like this?"
"Well, duh! Everyone else is doing it."
"I'll give you my energy, too!"
"I'll give you some help!"
The excluded universes were astounded by this spectacle as Iwen, Arak, and Giin spoke.
"What a fight! That's truly a fascinating technique!"
"I can't believe two lower rank universes have produced Warriors this good!"
"Yes, this promises to be quite the climax."
Beerus and Champa went up next.
"Make sure to give Zamasu a rude awakening, Goku!"
"Alright, I'll give you my energy, but only so that you kill him and get disqualified!"
Far away, Goku successfully forged a Spirit Bomb above him.
"It's ready! Ha-ha! Yes!"
Future Zamasu smiled as he beheld the large bomb above him.
"One thing, Zamasu. Don't blame me for what happens next, 'cause you brought it on yourself!"
Goku yelled out with a roar as he hurtled the Spirit Bomb at Future Zamasu. Despite the force of the attack, he still maintained his smirk as Goku spoke.
"This is what looks like when the whole multiverse unites! This is our Spirit Bomb!"
Future Zamasu only held out his hand in defense against the attack as it slammed on him.
Play Super Music: "Zamasu's Overwhelming Power"
Suddenly, the Spirit Bomb began to go directly to Goku, with a small silver, purple, and black power ball pushing against it, gradually as Future Zamasu smiled and laughed, much to Goku's worry.
"Seriously?"
Piccolo knew what was going on.
"Impossible! Zamasu's pushing it away with one small blast!"
Gohan tried to encourage his mentor as he thought about what Goku would do in this situation.
"Dad's not done; he can power up and push back!"
As Gohan suspected, while the Spirit Bomb propelled toward Goku who tensed in anger, he did prepare to do so.
"Come on!"
Goku then turned into Super Saiyan Sapphire with a shout to push it back to Future Zamasu, who retaliated by pushing his hand further, expanding the sphere to half the size, pushing it back towards Goku, who struggled once more as he shouted.
"Kaioken x10!"
Suddenly, his red aura spiked up within his dark blue aura as he stopped the Spirit Bomb in a deadlock. Neither side budged until Goku pulled up all the stops.
"Kaioken x20!"
As a result, the Spirit Bomb descended on Future Zamasu, who prepared another Divine Splitter and fired it at the main one holding it back, doubling its size and strength, pushing Goku and the Spirit Bomb back.
"It's over, Goku! This is the end of all mortals!"
The Spirit Bomb then disintegrated the area Goku was standing on. Goku gave out one last yell as he held back his own attack, seemingly in vain while the narrator spoke.
"Zamasu's mastery over Ultra Instinct has proven to make him a lethal and dangerous foe, overpowering the multiversal Spirit Bomb and putting Goku closer to death's door. Can he survive and win the cataclysmic battle? Find out, next Dragon Ball Super!"
