Chapter 40 Worrying about Izzy

Jake's POV

As Izzy was sleeping, Cubby and I was starting to get worried a out her.

"Cubby, I'm worried about Izzy." I said to him.

"Yeah, me too Jake." Cubby said to me.

"Jake, how are we going to protect Izzy even more? Cuz she's well, scared." Cubby asked me.

"Cubby, we will be able to protect her no matter what." I said to him.

"But how are we going to protect Izzy?" Cubby asked me.

"Cubby, we'll do everything we can to protect her I promise." I said to him.

Izzy's POV

As I was inside the dance studio, the doors opened and it revealed mr. John this time he was holding a baseball bat." I said I myself

"ALL RIGHT IZZY, you have been a pain in my butt all day, and now you're going to get it." John said to me.

"JAKE help!" I called my boyfriend.

"YOU'RE Calling your boyfriend huh sorry but I already killed him so he can't hear you anymore now where was I oh yes tell him to beat you up." Mr. John said to me as he started to beat me up.

"Please please stop please." I said to him.

"NOBODY CAN SAVE YOU NOW HAHAHA HAHAHA!" Mr. John said to me as I started to scream.

"Ah!" I said as I screamed.

Jake's POV

As I heard Izzy screaming I ran to her and shook her awake.

"Izzy Izzy Izzy." I said as she woke up and started to cry as she held on to me for dear life.

"Jake, I had a nightmare mr. John was beating me up with a bat, and he killed you. That way nobody could save me." Izzy said to me.

"Aww shhhh, Izzy it's okay, it's okay." I said to

"Shhhh, Izzy." I said to her.

"Yeah, Izzy it was just a nightmare." Cubby said to her.

"But what if it comes true?" Izzy asked us.

"Don't worry I won't let that happen." I said to her.

"Thanks, Jake." Izzy said to me as she held on to my hand.

"Jake, she's really scared." Cubby said to me.

"I know, Cubby. We need to do something." I said to hm.

"Look there's nothing you guys can do because I know that I'm going to get killed for sure." Izzy said to us.

"I can already picture my funeral." Izzy said to us.

"Izzy, we are going to protect you no matter what." I said to her.

"Oh yeah sure Jake you didn't even protect me the first time. You just had to let Mr.

John beat me up." Izzy said to me.

"Wait a second hold up a minute I did not let Mr John beat you up. the reason why he beated you up, was because you didn't answer his question." I said to him.

"Maybe I didn't want to answer his question. Maybe I decided to keep my little adorable mouth shut, and not say a word to him." Izzy said to me.

"Well, you are adorable so okay." I said to her.

"And you know what's worse Izzy, is that if you didn't tell us that you were getting beat up by Mr John, you would have never ever ever ever ever be in the hospital. So technically, it's your fault." I said to her.

"You know what Jake, you're right it is my fault okay.

"I'm sorry, but it's the truth." I said to her.

"Jake she didn't actually deserve all this, you know that." Cubby said to me.

" You're right, Cubby. we should start protecting her instead of me fighting with her." I said to him.

" Exactly now you're getting it Jake." Cubby said to me as I ruffled his hair.

"Hey, stop it." Cubby said to me as I stopped ruffling his hair.

"Hey, you are so cute." I said to him.

"Yeah yeah, I'm cute. Can we just focus on Izzy right now, and not talk about how cute I am?" Cubby said to me.

"Yeah, sure, whatever." I said to him as we thrown our attention back on Izzy.

"Izzy, can I get you anything anything at all?" I asked her.

"Can you get me a cup of water please Jake?" Izzy asked me.

"Sure, I'll be back with your water." I said to her as I went to get her a bottle of water.

Izzy's POV

As Jake went to get me some water, I started to cry again.

"Izzy, what's wrong?" Cubby asked me.

"Oh it's nothing. I'm fine." I said to him.

"Izzy, you're not fine tell me why are you crying?" Cubby asked me.

" Okay I'm crying because I'm scared okay I'm scared that I might get beat up again." I said to him.

" I mean, what if mr. John escapes from jail and gets a knife and stabbed me in the heart?" I asked him.

"Izzy, Jake and I promise that won't happen. You know how Jake gets with emotions he does not do well with emotions." Cubby said to me.

"Look who's talking you cry all the time Cubby. " I said to him.

"Hey I only cry because, I'm emotional more than Jake is." Cubby said to me.

"Oh please you and Jake cry like babies. Even when I'm not in the living room you guys cry." I said to him.

"let's not forget you guys cry during movies." I said to him.

"Oh, we do not cry during movies." Cubby said to me.

"What about that movie Frozen two you guys cried during that." I said to him.

"That was you who cried during the Frozen 2." Cubby said to me.

"Oh so you're blaming it on an 11 year old? I see where this is going Cubby." I said to him.

" Whoa for your information, I did not say anything regarding your age." Cubby said to me.

"Oh, sorry." I said to him.

As Cubby and I were still talking, Jake came back with my waiter bottle.

"Here's your water bottle my beautiful princess." Jake said to me as I took the water bottle from his hand.

"Thanks!" I said to him.

"Anytime, Izzy, that's why I love you so much." Jake said to me.

"Aww, thanks, Jake!" I said to him.

"Guys I feel sorry for myself." I said to them.

"Why is that Izzy?" Cubby asked me.

"Well because I got beat up by mr. John, and I feel so sorry for myself." I said to him.

"Yeah you did get a good beaten." Cubby said to me.

"What did you just say Cubby?" I asked him.

"Nothing." Cubby said to me.

"Good, don't say that again." I said to him.

"Yes, ma'am." Cubby said to me.

"Hey, I didn't mean to say that to you okay, I'm sorry." Cubby said to me.

"Okay, I forgive you." I said to him.

"Good, thanks!" Cubby said to me.

"No problem." I said to him.

"How are you guys going to protect me?" I asked them.

"Well, we are going to be with you everywhere you go." Jake said to me.

"So I'm going to have my personal bodyguard who is my boyfriend?" I asked him.

"Something like that." Cubby said to me.

"Thanks, guys, I love you!" I said to them.

"Aww, we love you too Izzy!" Jake and Cubby both said to me.

"Hey, while I was getting water for you Izzy, I also got us some sandwiches!" Jake said to me.

"Yay!" I said to myself as I took my sandwich and ate it."

"Here's yours Cubby." Jake said to him as he handed Cubby his sandwich and we all ate our sandwiches together.

"Anyway, how else are you guys going to protect me?" I asked them.

"Well, we won't let anyone near you. That is, if you want that to happen? Despite me and Cubby of course." Jake asked me.

"Sure." I said to him.

"Wait, I don't want Lisa to stay away from me." I said to them.

"It's only going to be boys that's not going to be near you Izzy, no need to get all upset about it." Jake said to me.

"Okay, Jake sorry." I said to him.

"Hey, it's okay, the important thing is that you're safe and sound with us in the hospital. And we won't let nobody nobody touch you. Or you get your pregnant again." Jake said to me.

"thank you Jake I love you guys so much especially you my beautiful beautiful handsome boyfriend!" I said to them.

"Whoa, you're welcome!" Jake said to me.

"I am going to sleep over here again to make sure nobody, come in here and touches you, Izzy." Jake said to me.

"Thanks, Jake!" I said to him.

Jake's POV

As Izzy and I were still talking, we heard Cubby crying.

"Hey, Cubby are you okay?" Izzy asked him.

"It's just that I was ready worried about you Izzy. I thought you were going to be dead." Cubby said to her.

"Aww, Cubby, come here." Izzy said to him as I picked him up and placed him on her lap.

"Look, I know your scared of losing me, but it's like what you and Jake said. The two of you are going to protect me no matter what." Izzy said to Cubby.

"I know but I'm scared, I'm scared of losing you." Cubby said to her.

"Hey since we're passing out tears, there's something I got to tell you Izzy. I don't want to lose you either." I said to her as I started to cry.

"Jake, now you're making me cry." Izzy said to me as the three of us started crying.

"We don't want to lose you. We'll make sure that you're safe and sound Izzy." I said to her through tears.

"I think we all need to cuddle, just to calm ourselves down." Cubby said to us as we all agreed.

As Cubby grabbed two toys for me and him to cuddle with, we both felt better. Especially when we're with Izzy. Because we love her, and we would do anything to protect her, and keep her safe.

I'm not losing my girl because if I do oh, I would be heartbroken because if anything anything happens to her again, I would never ever ever ever forgive myself. I love Izzy so much and I want to spend the rest of my life with her.

"Izzy, I'm not going to let you go, I'm not going to let nobody hurt you, or anything else. Because, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to marry you I want to have children with you I want to grow old with you I want to die with you." I said to her.

"Jake, that is the most beautiful thing you ever said to me." Izzy said to me.

"Hey do I have anything to say about this?" Cubby asked us.

"Sure, Cubby what do you want to say to you Izzy?" I asked him.

" I just wanted to say that we love you, and we'll make sure that this time we will protect you in any harm's way." Cubby said to her.

" You know these messages you guys are giving me right now, are really sweet and cute I'm not going anywhere for the next million years." Izzy said to us.

"You promise?" We both asked her.

"Guys, of course I promise. You guys have been in my lives since forever, and I wouldn't have it any other way." Izzy said to us.

"What if you guys aren't around to protect me? What if I won't be able to dance again without feeling scared?" Izzy asked us.

"Izzy we're going to protect you, we will be there for you. And you will be able to dance again." I said to her.

"Yeah, but I'm still scared Jake." Izzy said to me.

" Izzy it's okay to be scared, but no matter what happens we'll always going to protect you ALWAYS! Because with Jake and the Neverland Pirates and we never give up on our friends ever." I said to her

"Especially if that friend becomes your girlfriend." Cubby said to her.

"You had to add that in Cubby?" I asked him.

"Hey, it's the truth." Cubby said to me.

"Cubby's got a point and Jake." Izzy said to me.

"Yeah you're right, he does have a point Izzy." I said to her.

"Jake, I think cubby is jealous." Izzy said to me.

"Whose side are you on?" Cubby asked her.

"I am on my boyfriend's side." Izzy said to him.

"Well!" Cubby said as he just folded his arms.

"Cubby, don't be a grumpy pants." Izzy said to him.

"Come on where's my big strong little brother?" Izzy asked him.

"I'm going to go take a nap on the couch." Cubby said to us.
