We just stood around for a few moments, before Yusuke said, "Kind of stupid to have a mountain trail that ends halfway up the mountain, huh? I guess they don't encourage much camping around here."
"Yes, the stronghold is very well hidden. But we should be able to find it eventually by following Yukina's energy." Botan replied.
"Why are you still using that compass? Just follow my way! The Red Pinky String!" Kuwabara said.
"The what?" Botan asked as she and Yusuke were completely confused.
"The moment I saw her, my love stretched and tied us together. You see?" Kuwabara replied as he popped his pinky out.
Nobody said a word, but we didn't have to because we knew that Kuwabara was fixing to lead us.
"Let's follow the thread of destiny tied to my love!" Kuwabara yelled before running off.
"Why didn't you seem confused when Kuwabara told us about the Red Pinky String?" Botan asked as we took off after Kuwabara.
"Because my girl, Ellie, has friends that are destined to be together, even though both of them will deny it." I replied.
"Yukina!" Kuwabara hollered as he was trying to decide where to go.
"Wait, Kuwabara! It's this way!" Botan yelled out to him when he went the opposite way of where he should've been headed.
"Yeah, but I just got a really bad feeling. Let's go around." Kuwabara replied.
"My compass says to follow the path. We don't have time for detours." Botan said before moving over slightly.
When she moved I noticed a tripwire and pushed her out of the way. After I did that, I ended up being pulled into the air.
"Skye!" Yusuke and Botan yelled together.
"I'm alright." I said before it was revealed that I was stuck in a web.
"A little help?" I asked because I really don't want to be hanging upside down for too long. before screaming when the spider monster appeared.
I ended up screaming when the monster appeared and revealed itself to be a spider, which I despise by the way. Yusuke and Botan looked at each other before looking at the monster and myself.
"What a nice catch!" the monster said with glee.
"It's a spider this time." Botan said.
"Hey, let her go!" Yusuke called out.
Kuwabara joined us and I knew that between the three of them, they could save me.
"Go? Now, why would I let her go if I'm planning to drink her blood? If you want to save her. You'll have to come and fight me in the evil spider's lair!" the spider laughed.
Kuwabara attacked the web with his sword and then said, "Sorry to mess up your plans, but no one's getting between Yukina and me!"
Kuwabara sliced the web like crazy, and my brother caught me when I fell.
"Thanks bro." I told my brother.
"You know I got ya sis." Yusuke said back.
"You can't possibly be human!" the spider cried.
"Yup!" Yusuke replied.
"We just happen to be really, really tough!" Kuwabara added.
"Pardon me if I make this quick!" Yusuke said before attacking the spider and taken him out.
"Nice hook!" Botan said happily.
"Thanks, if this detective thing doesn't work, maybe I can try exterminating." Yusuke said back.
I just shook my head because my brother is crazy as hell. We both know that he couldn't handle exterminating. We set up camp and I had this feeling that we were being watched. I discreetly looked around and swore I saw Hiei, but it could only be my imagination.
"Did you hear something?" Botan asked as we got up.
I thought I heard Yukina being yelled out, but I could be completely wrong.
"No, would you get up Kuwabara?" Yusuke asked.
The closer we got to the house, the more demons we came across.
"Piece of cake." Kuwabara said as he defeated another demon.
"Why are they even bothering with all these wimps?" Yusuke asked.
"They're desperate, we're very close to Yukina." Botan replied.
"Yeah. Let's go!" Kuwabara said as he tied a bandanna around his forehead.
"What in the world are you tying to your head?" Botan asked.
"The Great Fighting Headband of Love!" Kuwabara replied.
"Right." Yusuke and I said together.
The last of the demons came, and both Yusuke and Kuwabara took them out with ease.
"I wonder what Kuwabara will say when he finds out about Yukina being Hiei's sister." I whispered to Botan.
"I guess we'll find out soon enough." Botan whispered back.
"There's the stronghold!" Kuwabara said as the house came into view.
"It's the same as the video. Yukina must be up in that tower." Botan added.
"Hold on my darling. Your brave man is coming." Kuwabara said before walking closer to the stronghold.
"Take care of him. The compass is getting interference from three very strong demons. Don't let him rush in blindly. I'll go airborne and try to get a sneak peek. Don't worry about me." Botan told us before leaving on her broom.
"What do you think? Botan says it's gonna be three nasty demons against little old us." Yusuke asked Kuwabara and myself.
"It sounds good to me. This mission's felt different from the very start. It's like I've become invincible." Kuwabara replied.
"It sounds good to me too." I said.
"Well, let's go." Yusuke added.
As we got to the front gate, we were met with land mines, or at least, that's what I'm thinking they are. I could hear Botan calling for us, and I finally saw her once we cleared the fire. Yusuke gave her a thumbs up and then she joined us as we headed inside. All of us looked around before looking back at each other. We then looked back into the hallway once a demon decided to show.
"Hello there intruders, my name is Miyuki. How'd you like a fight?" the demon asked.
All three of us just looked at the demon, who I assume is a female, and I knew that we needed to take these demons down fast and save Yukina because I don't know what else Tarukane has planned for her.
