By the end of the week, Katsuki felt like he was finally caught up with the workload. Aizawa had been true to his word and hadn't allowed Katsuki to take part in any of the physical training. Instead, whilst everyone else was taking part in Quirk based training, Katsuki and Aizawa sparred.

Katsuki lost every time. Aizawa used his capture scarf which Katsuki believed was cheating but there was nothing he could do. He'd gotten in a few good hits but in the end, Aizawa kicked his arse.

When Saturday rolled around, Katsuki, Shouto and Shinsou were ready to head to their remedial classes. Aizawa had cancelled their Saturday morning classes, claiming that those who had internships could use the time to catch up on anything they missed and those who had the remedial classes wouldn't miss anything.

Katsuki was stood outside of the dorms with Shouto and Shinsou, they were waiting for Aizawa, as the teacher was supposed to be taking them to the class. Aizawa was ten minutes late, which was stressing Katsuki out. Shinsou seemed half asleep and Shouto was staring off into the distance. So Katsuki was the only one who seemed to be aware of that fact.

Eventually, a black car pulled up in front of the dorms, Aizawa was inside, surprisingly with his hair up in a half up, half down style. Shinsou immediately went to sit in the front, leaving Shouto and Katsuki to the back.

"I'm so sorry." Aizawa said. "Things are hectic at home; I didn't realise the time."

"It's fine Sensei." Shinsou mumbled, resting his head on the window.

"Is everything okay?" Katsuki asked.

"Erm, yeah." Aizawa said, pulling away from the dorms and starting to drive away. "The social worker is visiting this afternoon. To see if our house is safe for a kid. It's stressful. Like our house is always clean and everything, but… Having someone else come in and go through our life… it feels wrong."

"I guess you've never been in the public eye. So unlike other heroes you're not used to people wanting to know more about you." Shouto said.

"Yeah, something like that." Aizawa shrugged. "It's just weird you know; they ask so many stupid questions. The other day we were asked why one of us didn't take the other's name. But we did! Just because at work we go by our own family names…"

"Wait so you're not called Aizawa?"

"No, I am. Aizawa-Yamada Shouta. Mic is Aizawa-Yamada Hizashi. But you know, we both teach in the same school. Our relationship wouldn't exactly be discreet is we went around with the same double-barrelled name." Aizawa said.

"I didn't know you could do that, have two family names." Shouto said.

"You can do what you want Todoroki, you can take your partners, your partner could take yours. Double-barrel it or change it completely." Aizawa said.

"I can change it? I don't have to be Todoroki?"

"If you don't want to." Shinsou shrugged.

"My Aunt's husband took the name Bakugou. Our family was more prestigious or some shit."

"I don't know whether I'd want to change it. My Mom and my siblings are Todoroki."

"Then don't. It's your name too." Katsuki said.

"I guess." Shouto said.

"I couldn't decide." Aizawa said. "My father was an only child he always used to say he wanted a son to carry on the family line. Which pissed my sister off, but there you go. But then when I thought about getting married, I wanted to take Hizashi's name. So I had both. I thought Hizashi would just keep Yamada, but he wanted both too."

"Names are weird." Shouto sighed.

"Still haven't come up with a hero name, hah?" Katsuki teased.

"You say I can't have Shouto, Momo says I can't have Icyhot. I'm just gonna go with Anti-Endeavour and leave it at that."

"You were going to use Icyhot?" Katsuki laughed.

"I really don't care what people call me." Shouto whined. "Icyhot was something you called me, what's wrong with it?"

"How do you even choose one?" Shinsou sighed. "Like, some people have such awesome names, and then I'm just here like I don't know?"

"How did you choose yours Sensei?" Shouto asked.

"Hizashi picked it and I just went with it." Aizawa shrugged. "I wanted to be an underground hero, even in high school, so I didn't care about my name."

"Maybe Midoriya can help, he's always writing in his notebook, maybe he'd got ideas." Shouto said.

"You're kidding, right? We're talking about the guy who took the name I made up to bully him and turned it into his hero name." Katsuki said.

"I think Uraraka said something about it and he liked it." Shouto said.

"Pff. Fucking idiot." Katsuki shook his head.

Once they got to the compound in which the remedial classes would take place, the three students got changed into their hero costumes. They went into a large training room where several members of the Hero Commission were there, watching as Gang Orca stood in the centre of the room.

There were roughly seven students from other schools there. Gang Orca revealed to them that they were one of three classes that had been put on as they wanted to keep class sizes small. Katsuki was surprised at the amount of people who had failed. If Katsuki's maths was correct, and it usually was, that meant only 70ish students passed the Licence exam.

He had known it was a hard test, but that number was so small. It was like they didn't want anyone to pass. There had been hundreds of participants, from schools across the country, how could only 70 pass?

Shinsou was still wearing his P.E kit with his capture scarf and artificial vocal cords. He'd sent off the designs for his hero costume, but he had yet to receive it. He stuck close to Katsuki and Shouto as all of the class came together.

Gang Orca towered over the group, snarling down at them. Katsuki wasn't easily intimidated, and it's not like he was scared, but at that moment he could see why Gang Orca was on the list of Top 10 Heroes That Look Like Villains.

But Hakamata had told him plenty of stories involving Orca in their time together, so Katsuki knew that deep down he was a softie.

"All right. Welcome to your remedial classes, small fry's." He growled, making several of the gathered students flinch. Katsuki rolled his eyes. "They'll be no slacking off in this class. You are here to prove yourself worthy of being heroes. If I do not feel you have potential, then you will not remain on this course."

"You have been given a second chance at getting your licence. This is not a game, if I remove you from this course, you will not get a third chance." Gang Orca said. "You got that, Maggots?"

"Yes Gang Orca." The students said together.

"I can't hear you."

"Yes, Gang Orca." They repeated.

"Bit insensitive." Katsuki muttered and Shouto snorted.

"He seems a little harsh." Shinsou whispered.

"Today I will be analysing you. Get into pairs and spar, use your Quirks or don't, it's up to you, as long as both partners agree." Gang Orca said. "Get to it."

"Oh Gods, I can't spar against other people. People are so strong here; I can't fight against Quirks." Shinsou said, fidgeting nervously.

"You'll be okay. Just ask to do Quirkless sparring." Bakugou said with a shrug.

"Can I work with one of you?" Shinsou asked

"Yeah, sure. Me or Shouto?" Katsuki asked turning to face the heterochromatic boy.

"Why is he coming over?" Shouto said suddenly, starring at a large teen as he approached. Katsuki recognised him as the boy who'd come up behind their class at the exam.

"Who is he?" Katsuki asked.

"The guy I fought with during the exam." Shouto hissed. "Why is he coming over?"

"I don't know." Katsuki replied.

"Todoroki-san." The boy called.

"Oh Gods, hide me." Shouto whispered, moving to stand behind Katsuki.

"He's already seen you, you idiot."

"And I can hear you." The boy said with a laugh. "I was wondering if one of you wished to spar with me. Everyone seems to be working with people they go to school with, but I have no one from my school here. And you have an odd number."

"If you're good with Quirkless, I'll spar with you." Katsuki said. "Doctors say I can't use mine yet."

"Of course!" the teen said and Katsuki rolled his eyes.

"Come on Baldy, lets go."

"I'm not bald. My name is Inasa."

"I don't care what your name is. Just fight me." Katsuki said simply, leaving Shouto and Shinsou to spar with one another.

"You're Bakugou Katsuki, right?"

"Yep. The guy who won the Sports Festival, ended All Might and blew up the exam." Katsuki said, getting into a stance and ending all other attempts at conversation.

Inasa was a powerhouse of force. He was immovable mound of muscle and strength. But Katsuki was quick and light on his feet. He was able to dodge Inasa's blows and get behind him, kicking him hard in the back of his knees. Inasa fell forwards, onto his hands, grunting as his arms took the brunt of his weight.

Katsuki kicked Inasa in the face, sending him sprawling across the training mats. Inasa grunted again as Katsuki fell into a fighting stance, waiting for Inasa to get up. Katsuki's feet were apart, fists in front of his face, ready to take a blow that never came.

Instead Inasa pushed himself up to his knees, rubbing his jaw. His stupid hat had fallen off, revealing cropped dark hair underneath.

"You've got a pretty powerful kick." Inasa laughed.

"I'm usually using my hands for explosions." Katsuki said. "I gotta know how to kick."

"I guess you do." Inasa said. "I use my fists mostly. My Sensei says I rely too much on my Quirk."

"A lot of people do." Katsuki said.

"I've always admired people like you, who can fight on their own but also master their Quirk."

"I wouldn't say I've mastered it." Katsuki shrugged. "I just keep practicing."

They sparred for a little longer before Gang Orca called them to stop. Katsuki was covered in a fine sheen of sweat and far too many bruises to count. Inasa had learnt quickly. He'd caught on to the fact that Katsuki favoured his right hand when it came to punching.

He'd lured Katsuki in with a feint, that he had stupidly fallen for and before he knew it, Katsuki was being beaten to a pulp. When they had finally fallen apart Katsuki's eye was rimmed black and blue and blood dribbled from the corner of his mouth and nose.

Katsuki had bitten his tongue particularly hard when Inasa had hit him with an uppercut to the jaw. His chin ached and the skin was tinged a dark brownish yellow. Inasa wasn't fairing any better, his nose was steadily streaming blood and was most definitely broken. His cheeks were bruised and possibly fractured.

Gang Orca called them all together before dismissing them, claiming he would have an individual skills assessment ready when they would next meet. Inasa offered Katsuki a bow and a bloody smile before heading off towards his own teacher.

"Bakugou." Gang Orca's voice called. Katsuki hesitated, turning back to the hero. "I'm glad you're doing better. I wanted to apologize to you, I never meant to hurt you."

"I know you didn't." Katsuki shrugged. "It's fine."

"It's really not. I'm a hero. I shouldn't hurt people, especially children."

"I'm not a child. I'm a hero in training. People get hurt all the time." Katsuki said. "Don't worry about it like I'm weak or something." Katsuki turned and stalked away before Orca could say anything more.

He approached Shouto and Shinsou who were as battered as he was. The two of them were covered in splatters of blood and cuts. Katsuki frowned at them.

"The fuck did you do to each other?"

"Shouto bit me." Shinsou said, scowling.

"If you hadn't put your hands near my mouth, I wouldn't have been able to bite you."

"You pinned me to the floor, what was I supposed to do?"

"I don't know, not get pinned to the floor?"

"Fuck you Shouto." Shinsou snapped.

"Now, now boys, come on." Aizawa said, coming up behind them. He put a hand on Bakugou's shoulder. Katsuki looked up at him.

"I feel like I was hit by a truck." Shinsou whined. "Is this normal?"

"I normally intervene before you get this beat up." Aizawa said. "And I give you a rest period between sparring sessions. Orca didn't." Aizawa said. "You've been at it almost an hour and a half."

"Fuck, really?" Katsuki said.

"I'm so tired." Shouto said, resting his head on Shinsou's shoulder.

"Fuck, you're cold." Shinsou grumbled.

"Sorry." Shouto said, moving away. "Can we go home now?"

"Yeah, come on." Aizawa said. "We can go." He said, they began to head towards the exit. Gang Orca was stood at the door, talking to other teachers. They walked past the hero, Aizawa thanked Sakamata as they did.

"Bakugou." Gang Orca called again. "I really am sorry."

"I told you. Let it go already. I don't need your pity." Katsuki said

"I'm not—"

"Just drop it." Katsuki stalked away, heading toward Aizawa's car. Shouto and Shinsou followed but Aizawa hung back.

"He's not one to talk about how he feels." Aizawa said to the hero. "I don't think he blames you or anything, he just doesn't want people to think he's weak."

"I don't think that about him. He's not weak. I just feel guilty."

"Don't." Aizawa shrugged. He too began to walk towards his car, unlocking it for the three boys to get in. Aizawa opened the door for himself and started the car.

"Seatbelts?" Aizawa asked, doing up his own. The three teenagers all muttered their acknowledgement.

Aizawa couldn't help but smile as the three of them fell asleep on the way back to the dorms. They were a mess of blood and bruises; each of them must have been in pain, but he didn't think any of them needed to see Recovery Girl, they'd heal fine on their own.

Katsuki had showered as soon as he got back to the dorms, Shouto and Shinsou doing the same. He changed his clothes and went to make himself something quick for lunch. Iida was down in the kitchen, drinking a glass or orange juice.

"Good Afternoon, Bakugou." Iida greeted.

"Iida." Katsuki nodded. "Are you okay?" he gestured to the orange juice.

"Oh, yes. I was training. I've got to refuel." Iida said, taking a large gulp.

"Weird." Katsuki said, shaking his head.

"It's no different from you having to drink water to maintain your Quirk." Iida said.

"Drinking water to sweat makes sense, drinking orange juice to run, not really."

"Oranges are actually—"

"Please don't make me learn about oranges." Katsuki whined. "Denki is still giving me shit over the whole pineapple thing."

"Very well." Iida laughed. "How was your remedial class? I see you are quite injured."

"It doesn't hurt." Katsuki shrugged. "Had to spar against this guy from another school. The one Shouto fought with at the exam."

"Yoarashi Inasa, I believe."

"Something like that. I wasn't paying attention." Katsuki said. "But yeah we beat the shit out of each other. Shouto and Shinsou look the same."

"I did see Shouto when he got back. He said he was going to take a nap."

"Yeah. It was exhausting. I might do the same." Katsuki said, picking up an apple from the fruit bowl. "Have you seen Eijirou?"

"I believe he went to his internship. Tokoyami is at his and Midoriya went for his first patrol today." Iida said.

"Oh, he didn't tell me." Katsuki frowned.

"I'm sure he meant to." Iida offered Katsuki a reassuring smile and Katsuki nodded weakly. "I was about to do our Literature homework. Have you done it yet?"

"I've started it." Katsuki said, playing with the apple, rolling it between his hands. "I need to finish it."

"Would you like to work on it with me, down here? Then you'll know as soon as Kirishima-kun comes back."

"I'm not worried or anything." Katsuki snapped.

"I know. But I want to know how Midoriya's patrol was, that's why I'm waiting for him." Iida said.

"Fine. I'll go get my stuff." Katsuki said, aggressively biting down on the apple. Iida smiled.

"I'll make us some tea."

Katsuki went upstairs to get his things, coming back quickly with Hoshi in toe. Iida had already filled a tea pot with tea leaves and boiling water, bringing it over to the table, where his own work was set up.

"Do you mind if she sits on my lap? I won't let her on the table." Katsuki asked, point at Hoshi.

"Of course. There is no harm with her sitting on you." Iida shrugged, sitting down and picking up his pencil.

Katsuki laid out his own things before sitting down, Hoshi immediately joining him. They worked quietly, Iida stopping briefly to pour the tea into two cups.

"Thank you." Katsuki said softly.

"No problem." Iida said. They were silent for a little longer before he spoke up again. "This may be an improper question, and feel free to decline to answer. But, how often do you speak to Hound Dog?"

"Once a week, usually Tuesday but he's been all over the place recently so sometimes on another day. Why?" Katsuki asked.

"As I am sure you are aware, Aizawa-sensei made us all have a meeting with Hound Dog. Well… He grew concerned when he found out I went after Stain. He said such reckless and suicidal behaviour should be addressed. He said I was blinded by the desire for revenge and didn't consider the situation I was putting myself and others in." Iida said, picking at the eraser on the end of his pencil.

"So, he wants to see you more?" Katsuki asked.

"Yes." Iida sighed. "He believes I haven't processed what happened to Tensei and that deep down I have a lot of anger that I need to express."

"Well if you ever need to punch something, you know where I am." Katsuki shrugged.

"You want me to punch you?"

"Look, it's easy to say that I'm the most angry person in the class."

"You've calmed down lately." Iida interjected.

"That's not the point. God knows I've been to anger management therapies and been on medication. Nothing worked. So I punch stuff. I spar with people or I run. It might not be the healthiest thing to do, but it stops me doing dumb shit that could get me killed." Katsuki said.

"You went to anger management?" Iida asked and Katsuki nodded.

"Yeah. Got into a fight with this girl in Middle School. People harped on about how I shouldn't have been fighting a girl and it was improper. So the school made me go. She started the fucking fight. What did she think? That she could hit me, and I wouldn't hit back?"

"Oh."

"The school were all like, any other person would have walked away, your son needs to control his aggression or we'll expel him. So, I went. Three years. It worked for a little while, sometimes I could reason with myself, work out why I was angry before I did anything. But in the end, I still got into fights."

"What did that girl hit you for?"

"Her friend made up this dumb story about how she'd confessed her feelings to me and I'd laughed at her. I'd never do that. People can't help feeling shit. I would have… I don't know, let her down gently or whatever." Katsuki shrugged.

"The friend lied?"

"It turned out the girl had been pushing her to ask me out or tell me. Her friend didn't want to, she knew I didn't feel anything for her, didn't even know her name. So she said she'd already told me and I'd rejected her. She apparently hoped it would get the girl to back off, but instead she started a fight." Katsuki said. "The friend apologized later and spoke up for me. But at the end of the day all the school saw was a teenage boy punching a girl."

"Ah I see." Iida said.

"Anyway. After anger management didn't help I went to the doctors. They thought I was producing too much testosterone or something. They noted that my behaviour had started to get worse around puberty and they were doing blood tests, to see if hormone blockers or something like that would help. One doctor pointed out that, around puberty was when I quit gymnastics and stopped going to sports clubs after school. He suggested taking up more physical activities, hence running and sparing."

"I can't imagine you were ever inactive." Iida said.

"No, but I was only doing karate and self defence classes three times a week, so I had more time to do stuff." Katsuki shrugged. "And like you said, I'm less angry now, and I've never been more physically active. So maybe next time you feel angry, go for a run or spar with me."

"I might take you up on that." Iida said. "Hound Dog wants to meet me once a week too, to talk about it all, and Tensei."

"He really does help." Katsuki said. "I don't think I would have bounced back so quickly after Kamino if it wasn't for him, Jeanist and Aizawa. They kinda helped me sort out everything I was feeling and help me put my thoughts together."

"I believe he will be beneficial to talk to. It's just a little strange, I suppose. I hadn't considered myself to be someone in need of professional assistance."

"I'd never really considered it either, until Aizawa practically dragged me there."

"Really? He did that?"

"Knocked on the door and everything." Katsuki snorted. "He's such a Dad."

"I'd never thought of him like that." Iida shook his head. "I used to be scared of him, so much. Just this grumpy, tired person who'd not want to play or anything. Now I'm older, I understand that I was being dumped on a young couple in their twenties who probably wanted to do something more interesting with their time off than watch an eight-year-old." Iida laughed and Katsuki smiled.

"Mic would play?"

"Yeah, he always came up with the best games. He was more adventurous than me, but he'd have a million ideas on what we could do, no matter how short or long I'd be there."

"They're trying to adopt a kid at the moment."

"I heard from Tensei. I think they'd be good parents. Now I'm older I can appreciate Aizawa-sensei as being the one to watch over us and make sure we were safe. I remember, I must have been six, him around 19-20 ish. I cut my knee, and I was crying. Mic-sensei was panicking, saying Tensei or my Mother was going to kill him. Aizawa-sensei got me a plaster, covered in cats, and he sat with me, stroking my hair until I calmed down."

"So he was all soft and squishy?" Katsuki laughed.

"A little. Until he told Mic off and terrified the both of us." Iida said and Katsuki snorted.

"Sounds about right." Katsuki laughed. "I hope they get a kid, there's so many people out there who don't deserve kids but have them anyway. They could provide a kid with a good home."

"I wish them the best of luck." Iida nodded, turning back to his work. Katsuki did the same, his fingers burying themselves in Hoshi's fur.

They worked for hours before the had both completed all of the work they had been set. Katsuki then offered to make dinner for the pair of them. Iida helped and together they made food for themselves, as well as putting some into three tuperwares for Tokoyami, Midoriya and Kirishima for when they got back.

Kaminari and Sero turned up before they were done, so Katsuki adjusted his recipe to make enough for the both of them too.

"Have I told you I love you and your wonderful cooking?" Kaminari asked.

"Fuck off, you free loader." Katsuki scowled.

"Hey, I'll charge your phone for you, whenever you want." Kaminari said.

"Pff." Katsuki rolled his eyes.

"Should you be using your Quirk like that?" Iida asked.

"I don't know." Kaminari shrugged. "I think it allows me to get used to using my Quirk at a low level?"

"I suppose so." Iida nodded.

"Anything that helps you not electrocute everyone." Sero teased.

"Hey, you're so rude to me, Hanta. I thought we were friends."

"We are, I'm used to your little zaps."

"Yeah, we all know not to touch you if we don't want to be shocked." Katsuki added. "God forbid we go swimming with you."

"I haven't killed anyone yet."

"Yet being the operative word." Katsuki drawled.

"Fuck off Bakugou. I wouldn't hurt anyone." Kaminari scowled.

"I'm only playing." Katsuki said. "I know you wouldn't."

Iida left after dinner, claiming he was going to call his brother. Katsuki, Sero and Kaminari stayed down to watch the TV. Hoshi was asleep on Katsuki's stomach and he lay on one of the sofas.

"Where's the other cat?" Kaminari asked.

"With Shouto." Katsuki said. "I've got to take Cashmere to work tomorrow. So he's spending his last night with him."

"Aww, I feel bad for Shouto. All he wants is a cat." Sero frowned.

"At least Hoshi stays here." Kaminari said. "If Kacchan will share."

"Shouto knows he can see her whenever he wants." Katsuki replied, stroking the cat's body. "Eiji said you have a dog, Sero?"

"Yeah, Amaya." Sero nodded. "She's technically my stepdad's. But we've had her for years."

"Oh cool." Katsuki said.

"Wait. Your Dad isn't you real dad?" Kaminari asked.

"Nah. Dunno what happened to him, but my stepdad got with my Mom when I was six, so he's like my real dad."

"Biology means nothing." Katsuki said. "It takes more than that to be a Dad."

"Wait so is Sero—"

"It's my stepdad's name, yeah." Sero said with a shrug.

"Oh, see Kaminari is my parents names."

"I assumed that much, dumbass." Katsuki rolled his eyes.

"No, no. I mean my birth parents. I'm adopted." Kaminari said.

"You are?" Sero asked.

"Yeah. My parents died when I was… nine, I think. I was in foster care for about two years before my Moms adopted me."

"You have two Moms?"

"Yeah. They're really nice. Let me keep Kaminari as well. I heard some stories where some people forced kids to change their names."

"Can they do that? Legally?" Katsuki asked.

"I don't know. But they did." Kaminari said. "But my Moms are great."

"Do you call them both Mom or do you have like a Ma and a Mom?" Sero asked.

"I call them by their names to their face." Kaminari said, "I feel weird about it, you know. Like I had a Mom. But I do love them, and refer to them as my Moms in my head, but I guess, I don't know. I don't want to feel like I'm trying to replace my birth parents. You know?"

"That's tough man." Sero said.

"At the end of the day I guess you can call them whatever you want." Katsuki said. "My Mom is my birth Mom but I call her Hag most of the time."

"I can't imagine she likes that." Sero laughed.

"She started it. She calls me brat." Katsuki said. "But she knows I love her. If your Moms know you love them it shouldn't matter what you call them."

"I guess so." Kaminari said. "You're surprisingly mature about stuff like this."

"Hah? I'm mature about everything." Katsuki growled.

The main door to the dorm rooms opened, making the three of the boys sit up and turn to see who it was. All three of them perked up when they saw it was a tired looking Kirishima.

"Kirishima, over here." Sero called.

"Oh, hey guys." Eijirou said with a small smile.

"Hi Eiji." Katsuki said. Kirishima came over to the back of the of the sofa. He leant down, kissing Katsuki's cheek. His hair was slightly damp and he smelt strongly of his coconut bodywash.

"Come hang out with us." Kaminari said.

"Nah bro. I'm going to grab some ramen and go to bed." Eijirou said. "I'm so tired. Fat Gum and I went on patrol today, and boy was it hard work."

"Oh." Katsuki said frowning, he'd waited downstairs all afternoon for Eijirou to come back, like a lost little puppy and now he wasn't going to get any time with him. "I made you some dinner, it's on the side."

"Thank you, Baby." Eijirou said, kissing Katsuki cheek again. "You're the best."

"Come sit with us while you eat, at least." Sero said.

"Yeah, I can do that." Eijirou said, going to the kitchen to reheat the food and bring it over.

"I love you." Katsuki said as soon as Eijirou sat down.

"Love you too." Eijirou replied. "How was your class?"

"Fine." Katsuki said, watching Eijirou eat. "Difficult."

"How come?" Eijirou asked.

"Had to fight." Katsuki said, cuddling Hoshi. "I missed you."

"Are you okay?" Eijirou asked.

"Yeah. I just missed you." Katsuki said. Eijirou took Katsuki's hand, squeezing it.

The redhead smiled at Katsuki, who cuddled close, resting his head on Eijirou's shoulder. Hoshi meowed as she resettled between them

"Clingy." Eijirou said, kissing Katsuki's forehead.

"Soft Kacchan." Kaminari smiled.

"So cute." Sero agreed.

"Fuck off." Katsuki muttered, closing his eyes.

Distantly, he was aware of Eijirou, Kaminari and Sero talking, but he wasn't paying attention. Was he clingy? Was he too much? Was he annoying Eijirou, not giving him space? Was he pushing him away? Katsuki frowned. Should he back off?

"Hey, don't sleep on me." Eijirou said. "I can't get up if you go to sleep."

"Sorry." Katsuki said, sitting up and moving away to the other end of the sofa.

"Where are you going?" Eijirou said. "We can cuddle, I just meant don't sleep. We can go upstairs in a minute. I'm almost done."

"Oh." Katsuki said, but he didn't move.

"Do you want to sleep in my room or yours?" Eijirou asked.

"You want to sleep in the same bed?" Katsuki asked.

"We have been doing it every day so far? Unless you want to sleep on your own?"

"No." Katsuki said too quickly, making Kaminari snort. "No, I want to. My room?"

"Sure." Eijirou said.

Before long, the two of them headed upstairs, Hoshi trailing behind. Eijirou went into his own room, to get changed. Katsuki went into his room and sat on his bed. Hoshi immediately went up onto her cat tree and Katsuki stared at the ground.

"Katsuki?"

The blond jumped at the sound of his boyfriend's voice. Eijirou frowned, coming to sit next to him.

"You didn't get changed?" Eijirou asked. Katsuki shook his head. "Are you hurt?" Katsuki shook his head again. "Baby, what's wrong?" Katsuki blinked slowly, before shaking himself.

"Nothing, just zoned out a bit." He said, reaching under his pillow to grab his pyjamas. He pulled his t-shirt over his head and quickly got changed whilst Eijirou watched.

"Are you sure?" Eijirou asked. "You can talk to me, about anything, you know that right?"

"I'm fine, Ei." Katsuki said, pulling back the covers. "Just tired." He climbed into the bed.

"Okay." Eijirou nodded. Katsuki took out his hearing aids, placing them on the side table, before moving so he was lay down, facing the star covered wall. Eijirou turned off the light and climbed in after him, wrapping his arm around Katsuki, making him the little spoon.

Eijirou placed a kiss on Katsuki's shoulder before lying down completely. Katsuki felt his breath on his neck and sighed.

As he stared at the white and green flecks of paint on the wall, a lone tear ran down Katsuki's cheek.
