Scene 1: The Delivery Room
Sarah ((Emilia Clarke) placing pressure and stress on herself to get the baby out): GRR...AHA..AHA...AHA..AHA
A Doctor (encouraging Sarah as he adds pressure to her stomach): That is a big strong push, Sarah. You got this. Keep on pushing.
Sarah (still screaming and trying to push out the baby): AHA..AHA..AHA..AHA..AHA
Kyle ((Jai Courtney) using a handkerchief to wipe sweat off Sarah's forehead): Honey, you are very strong. I believe in you. I have faith in you.
Sarah (becoming exhausted): John is still inside me. I feel as if I am not making any progress.
Pops (squeezing Sarah's hand): Having a baby especially your first child takes time
Sarah (struggling through a painful contraction, she grabs ahold of Pops): John is coming. I can feel him. I must get him out asap.
Kyle and the doctor (motivating Sarah): Bear down, Sarah, push harder
Sarah (crying and screaming out in pain as she pushes yet again): AHA..AHA..AHA..AHA..AHA..AHA
A Nurse (measuring John's progress in utero): The baby is in distress. John's large size has prevented him from moving farther down the birth canal. Sarah will not be able to push him out naturally.
The Doctor: I understand. Lets prepare Sarah for an emergency cesarean section.
(Kyle accompanies Sarah to the operating room where John is born via an emergency cesarean section. John weighs nine pounds at birth. Patiently and anxiously, Pops and Kyle wait for Sarah to wake up from anesthesia.)
Time Period: A Flashback-Post John's birth (an emergency cesarean section)
Place: Sarah's hospital recovery room
Kyle (emotional, he sits in a chair): Sarah must wake up. I can't raise John without her.
Pops (placing a comforting hand on Kyle's shoulder): Sarah will wake up soon
Sarah (Emilia Clarke) wakes up from surgery with John weighing heavily on her mind): Where is my baby? Did John survive the surgical operation?
Kyle (Jai Courtney) embracing Sarah): Welcome back, Sweetheart. Our Baby John is alive and doing well. We will see him shortly. The doctor and nurses are tending to him right now.
Sarah (experiencing separation anxiety): I must see and hold him right now
Pops (opening the door for a nurse who carrying John): We have been expecting you
The nurse (placing John into Sarah's arms): Here is your little prince
Sarah (emotional, she holds John): I love you so much
(Sarah gives Kyle and Pops a chance to bond with John. They are absolutely in love with the adorable little guy. The flashback ends.)

Special Event: Kitty's birth (Sarah's V-Back (Natural Childbirth after Cesarean Section))
Place: A Hospital Delivery Room
Sarah (Lena Headey) feeling quite uncomfortable): Baby, I love having you inside me but you must come out.
Kyle (Jonathan Jackson) rubbing Sarah's big swollen stomach): I am so excited and anxious to meet this little one
Sarah (attempting to push the baby out again): AHA..AHA..AHA..AHA
The doctor (performing an episiotomy): It won't be long now, Sarah. Keep on pushing and breathing through the pain.
Sarah (reaching the end of her strength): OH GOD, IT HURTS. I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE. I'VE HAD ENOUGH.
Kyle (squeezing Sarah's hand): Our little princess is almost here
Sarah (giving into her pain and sorrow for the last time): AHA...AHA..AHA..AHA
The Doctor: Please hold on. Your ordeal is almost over.
Sarah (bearing down and pushing extra harder): GRR..AHA..AHA..AHA..AHA
Kyle (emotional): Honey, you are doing a beautiful job. Just one more big strong push.
(After experiencing a brief complication (shoulder dystocia), Kitty enters the world at last weighing nine pounds. Sarah and Kyle embrace their little princess (a Christmas Baby) with open hearts and arms. The flashback ends)

Special Event: Chance's birth
Place: A Hospital Delivery Room
Kyle (rubbing Sarah's big swollen stomach): Thrice the charm
Sarah (struggling through painful contractions): What do you mean?
Kyle: This is not our first rodeo. We are about to welcome our third child into the world. You are going to give birth to a special baby on a very special day, 11-11-2011.
Sarah (squeezing Kyle's hand): Cool
Kyle: Chance will be loved even if he has Down Syndrome
Sarah (choked up): Chance has Down Syndrome. I almost forgot about it.
Kyle: Please don't cry. He will have a normal to extraordinary life. We should give him a chance like his name implies.
Sarah (overcome with a sudden urge to push): I have to push very badly. What is taking the doctor so long?
The attending nurse: The doctor is with another patient. You can't give birth without the doctor. Please be patient. The doctor is on his way.
(Eventually the doctor does arrive and there is no major delivery complications other than the placenta is stuck inside Sarah briefly. Kyle and the doctor help Sarah to deliver the placenta. The rest is history. The Flashback ends.)
Time Period: The Present Reality (much later on in the future)
Situation: Post Sarah's spontaneous miscarriage in the bathroom
Place: Sarah and Kyle's bedroom
Kyle (holding a towel that contains the remnants of a dead female fetus): Hello my beloved Angel Reese
Sarah (crying, she rests in bed): I am sorry for letting you down
Kyle: The miscarriage is not your fault. These things, miscarriages just happen. Life happens.
Sarah (sobbing): But still my heart hurts
(Absolutely heartbroken, a teenage Kitty and Chance give their mom (Sarah) a tight bear hug)
Derek (choked up): I am sorry for your loss. I know how painful and devastating a miscarriage can be. Jesse had a miscarriage.
Cameron: I am sorry for your loss
Derek (yelling at Cameron): No. You are not sorry for my loss. You caused Jesse to have a miscarriage.
Cameron: She looked unwell. She should've rested if she knew she was pregnant.
Derek (livid): SHUT UP, MACHINE!
John (standing in the middle of Derek and Cameron): My mom lost a baby for Christ's sake
