Dwayne was desperate and crack his seldom use whip from his left compartment catching Bulleye off guard and staggering him backward. Then both combatants were both back on their feet lock in deadly combat. Every punch was counter, each leg sweep was leaped over, they appear to be evenly matched from those looking outside.

"You can fight better. I must say that I'm impressed very few people can fight me to a standstill."

"I'm just warming up so do you still think about this B player?"

"Yes I do and I will tell you why I don't have to beat you. I have already won, you see the media has been watching our every move."

"I know that they have been here from the beginning."

"That's right my young friend and they have been watching you not being able to beat me."

"You're crazy."

"That may be true, but being from the superhero capital of the world New York City I know a little bit about how this goes. I could stay here and keep battling you, but I think I will take my leave."

"You think I'm just going to let you leave?"

"Let me of course not, but then again you will have other things to keep you busy."

Bullseye pushes Night Thrasher away and throws a dart at the Swat battle van that was coming their way killing the driver and causing it to run toward a crowd of onlookers. Night Thrasher springs into action putting on his audio speaker in his helmet telling everyone to move and move. The van was about to plow into the crowd. A group of people were too shocked to move from the front of Corney Island. Night Thrasher uses his mini laser and aiming it on the run blowing out the front tire causing the van to slide on its side until it came to a halt.

When he returns Bullseye was gone, but he left the gunmen that still had the mayor and the others pen down. When they saw Night Thrasher coming they turn their gunfire on him he ducks in front of the mayor's car for cover, then he hears a familiar voice from above as the Rocket Racer arrives on the scene. As the three remaining gunmen look up they are met with his stun bombs which leaves all on them down. The police quickly rush in to clean up. Chord had made it inside planning to help the mayor escape but with Robert's timely arrival that wasn't necessary.

The media rushes in to try to corner the two heroes.

"Night Thrasher, is this your young partner? What happen to Bullseye? Who is going to pay for all the damage to the city? What about all those people who lost their lives? Aren't you suppose to be our city's guardian? Why did you let this happen?"

Thrasher and Rocket Racer quietly take to the air on top of the buildings and make their escape from the scene. As they race back to their headquarters those questions especially the loss of life weighs heavy on Dwayne's mind.

Back at Tombstone apartment, he was entertaining his special guest.

"I thought I told you the plan was to eliminate that pest."

"Tombstone this is way better, the media will toast him alive."

"It looks like to me that you couldn't defeat him."

"That was all part of the show when we meet the next time he will go down you needed worry. This way his precious city will turn against him."

"Why would they do that?"

"Tombstone you should know from New York the only thing they like better than watching a hero win is watching a new hero fail. The public will demand that he leave or maybe even turn himself in."

"I have never known you to play these types of games. Patience has never been a strong characteristic of yours."

"I'm not going to lie, it was hard not to finish him then, but he got under my skin. Now it is personal for me. That means this can only end one way."

Madame Choas watch the news over and over again trying to figure out what game was being played. Bullseye surely could have defeated Dwayne but instead, he turns and ran away. She tried to figure out why he would do that? Dwayne was good but not as good as Bullseye. She made up her mind that she would act before Bullseye could return. She wanted to be the one to end Night Thrasher and she would do it in front of the world. Yes, Bullseye taught her one thing today, that was to make the media her ally in watching a hero fall.
