Rudi and Marinette were in hell. Marinette was on the phone talking to Alya's parents while Alya and Rudi tried to calm down the former's younger sisters Ella and Etta, twin girls wearing propeller beanies. The only reason she invited Rudi and Marinette over? She couldn't do it alone.

"Yes, Mrs. Césaire. The girls are ready for bed. Uh...technically speaking..." She chuckled. "Yeah, we're good. Enjoy the movie!"

"Gotcha, you little imp!" Rudi said as he grabbed Ella. She squirmed and complained.

Alya grabbed Etta. "Come on, bedtime, you little monsters! That's enough mischief for one day!"

"It's not us!" the twins said in unison. "It's the Sapotis!"

Alya took Ella from Rudi and tucked the twins into bed. "Off to bed, little Sapotis. You need to rest if you wanna be fighting fit for tomorrow."

"It's not fair! We don't wanna go to bed! We wanna stay up with you!" cried Ella.

"Yeah! We wanna watch the movie and tell each other lots of secrets!" whined Etta.

"And what kind of zombies will you be at the amusement park tomorrow if you go to bed late? Show 'em, Marinette." Marinette pretended to be so exhausted, she didn't even care that she bumped into the doorframe. "So what's it gonna be? Boring sit-down pajama party with the big kids, or...the super-fun cool amusement park tomorrow?"

"The amusement park!" the twins cheered before they immediately plopped onto the bed.

Rudi exhaled in exhaustion. "Finally."

Alya reached for the twins' hats but they kept them on. "Wait," they said. "Can we keep these on?"

"All right. But go to sleep now." Alya turned out the light and closed the door.

The two girls and boy plopped down on the bed and sighed. Finally. Peace.

Alya set down a tray with a pitcher of orange juice and two glasses on the coffee table. Marinette went into the kitchen to look for three plates and spoons. "You seriously have a technique down with your little sisters. But...uh, who are the Sapa... Sapo...?"

"The Sapotis? They're little monsters from a Créole fable who are always pulling pranks and making all sorts of mischief."

"Kind of sounds like Big-Head," said Rudi as he popped a bag of popcorn in the microwave.

"Big-Head makes the Sapotis look like child's play," said Alya as Marinette took slices of cantaloupe out of the fridge and onto a tray. "Hey, now that we're all alone I can finally tell you." She showed Marinette and Rudi an image of Ladybug on her phone. "Apparently Ladybug has been around at least since the pharaohs. But no way can the Ladybug we know can be five thousand years old! So, I downloaded a great app that analyzed some recordings I had of her talking. Based on the frequencies of her voice, it turns out she's a girl our age!"

Marinette gulped while Rudi made a nonchalant face. "Yeah, we kind of figured that out," he said. "She doesn't have the breast size of a mature woman." SLAP! "Ow! What was that for, Marinette?"

"For being a rude pervert!"

Rudi rubbed his sore cheek. "Say, Rudi, speaking of Big-Head, did you find any clues about the..." She glanced at Marinette, who gave her a suspicious look. "The you-know-what?"

"No."

"Really?"

"What are you two hiding?" Marinette asked, hands on her hips.

"Nunya," said Rudi.

"Nunya?"

"None ya business," he said harshly.

"Rudi," Alya said. "I know you said we should keep this to ourselves, but..."

"But nothing! We swore not to tell anyone!"

"So there's a we?" Marinette asked. "Alya, whatever happened to not keeping secrets from each other?"

Alya turned to Rudi. "Please, we can tell her. I trust her. Do you?"

He took one look at her then let out a growl. "Fine. But you better hope you know what you're getting yourself into, lover girl." The three of them sat down on at the coffee table. "Once we tell you this, you cannot tell anyone," he said to Marinette, who nodded. "Okay. Alya, Julil, Alix and I have been working on a secret project involving Big-Head."

"Ooh," Marinette said. "What is it?"

"We think we found a connection to him," said Alya. "The Mask of Loki."

Marinette's eyes widened. In her mind, she was shocked. How did THEY know about the Mask of Loki before she did? "Wh-What do you know about this Mask?"

"Only that it seems to have some kind of strange magic," said Alya. "It grants the wearer the ability to defy the laws of physics and become invincible."

"But what does that have to do with Big-Head?"

Alya showed her an image of the God of Mischief on her phone. "Look familiar?"

Marinette's eyes widened. "Green face, red eyes...just like Big-Head!"

A light sneeze startled the three. They looked behind the couch to find Ella and Etta.

"It's not us! It's the Sapotis!" the twins said, giggling as they were dropped into their beds. Alya shook her head before leaving the room.

"So where were we?" she asked.

"Something about Big-Head and Loki?" Rudi asked as he left to get the popcorn out of the microwave.

"Oh, right. Well, it got me thinking, Marinette. If this Mask of Loki can turn various people into Big-Head, then the same can be said about Ladybug!" Marinette's heart jumped a little. "Think about it! There couldn't have been more than one Ladybug just like there can't be more than one Big-Head if the sightings in the United States are anything to go by. This current Ladybug, she's like a high school girl. So to figure out who she really is, all we need to do is to find a girl our age who's always late—"

Marinette interrupted her. "Don't you think there's a reason why she keeps her identity a secret?"

"Guys?" Rudi called out. "Did someone take the popcorn already?"

Before either one of the girls could respond, they heard a crunching noise under the coffee table.

Alya dropped the twins into their beds and said with thinning patience, "All right, that's enough! Get out of bed one more time and no one'll be going to the amusement park tomorrow!"

"It wasn't us! It was the Sa-"

"I mean it! This is your last warning!"

Alya slammed the door.

"Now, what were you saying about a secret identity?"

"Ladybug needs it to protect her family and friends. Otherwise the villains could use them to get to her."

"Doubt it," said Rudi as he returned from the kitchen. "A girl like Ladybug? She'd have to sacrifice everything just to keep up with the hero work. Think about it. No friends, no family, no social life, no sleep..."

Alya nodded her head. "I know. I feel bad for her. Imagine what it must be like to have no friends."

"I do know someone who lives that life. Her name is Chloe."

Suddenly, the TV turned on all by itself. The girls and boy turned to see Ella and Etta sitting on the couch and watching the Kond Le Chien show. Alya growled with frustration.

"It's not us! It's the—!"

"THAT'S IT!"

Rudi put a hand on Alya's shoulder. "Let me take care of this." He turned to the twins. "You know what," he shouted with anger. "You two don't deserve the amusement park! You know what you deserve? A GOOD SPANKING!" He raised his hand up to strike them, but Alya stopped him.

"No, don't!"

Too late. He didn't hit them, but he struck fear in the twins' hearts. Their eyes widened, their lips quivered and they started crying. "Alya wants to spank us!"

The circular window to Hawk Moth's lair opened and butterflies swarmed around him. "'I don't want another peep out of you!', 'Wash your hands!', 'Clean your room!' 'Do as I say or I'll spank you!'. Kids should be able to do whatever they want to do, however they want to do it." He grabbed one of the butterflies and turned it from white to purple. "Fly, my little evil one and Akumatize them!" The butterfly flew out the window and out over the city.

Alya placed the girls into bed, trying her best to calm them down. "Shh. Shh. It's alright. I'm not going to spank you."

Etta sniffed. "You aren't?"

"No. But, you still have to pay the piper. We'll all go to the park when you can behave some other day."

"But..." Ella whimpered.

"I don't want to hear another word," Alya warned. "Now go to sleep."

"Where were we?" Alya asked as she sat back down on the couch next to Marinette and Rudi. "Well, if I knew who Ladybug really was, I'd keep it a secret. I would even help her! Like say, if you were Ladybug, I'd cover for you — when you needed to transform in school, go fight the 'baddies', you know?"

"Oh yeah? Well, if I was Ladybug I wouldn't even tell you, to protect you from the 'baddies', you know?"

"You serious? If I was Ladybug, I'd totally tell you! Because I tell my best friend everything."

"Really? You didn't tell me about this Big-Head project."

Alya was about to respond, only to realize Marinette was right. "Toché."

"You know, that's the curse of being a super hero," said Rudi. "You can't really trust anyone."

"Tell me about it," Marinette muttered.

"What was that?"

"Nothing."

Meanwhile, Etta and Ella were arguing over a beanie hat rather than sleeping when the Akuma slipped into their room and absorbed itself into the beanie. Their faces went blank as a baritone voice spoke in their minds, "Sapotis, I am Hawk Moth. Your big sister's telling you what to do? Well, I'll let you be as mischievous as you want!"

"And do whatever we want? Like, stay up all night?! And go to the movies? And eat lots of desserts!? And drink orange juice?! And still go to the amusement park?!"

Hawk Moth stopped the twins' excitement before he was overwhelmed. "Yes, yes! But calm down. From now on, no one will ever be able to punish you, because it will always be another Sapoti's fault. All you have to do is to take Ladybug and Chat Noir's Miraculous and Big-Head's Mask of Loki and give them to your good friend, Hawk Moth. Okay?"

"Okay," the twins responded with evil, toothy grins as purple smoke enveloped them.

Back in the living room, the girls and Rudi were watching a movie when they suddenly heard a loud crash coming from the twins' bedroom. "What was that?" asked Rudi.

"That's it! I've totally had it with these kids!" Alya marched over to the door and swung it open. "Don't even try to blame this on the..." She gasped at what she saw: a pair of red goblin-like creatures wearing beanie hats causing chaos. "...Sapotis?!"

The Sapotis were about to run out the door when Rudi slammed it right in their faces. "Since when did you babysit gremlins?!" he asked.

The door suddenly broke down and the Sapotis started wreaking havoc in the living room and eating the remaining food on the coffee table.

"Maybe you were a little too strict with them?" Marinette asked fearfully.

Suddenly, the Sapotis split into four and the more they ate the more they multiplied.

Alya shrieked when one tried to take a nibble at her ankles and she kicked it away. "Normally when you're firm with kids they don't turn into monsters!" Alya noticed that a Sapoti was drinking from the fish tank. She tried to catch it but it leaped away. More Sapotis appeared out of the fridge and made a huge mess in the living room.

"They're multiplying after they eat!" shouted Marinette.

Rudi yelped and ducked just in time as a fork flew over his head. "That's pretty obvious, lover girl!"

Then one of them spotted an open window. "Window!"

Rudi gasped and quickly closed it before they could break out. "Oh, no! You're not going anywhere! In fact, all of you are going to stay here and wait for Big-Head and the Miracle Heroes to de-akumatize you or you will all get a spanking!"

The Sapotis went silent, then looked at each other before nodding.

"Spanky, spanky, spank your butt! Doo-dah, doo-dah," the Sapotis sang as they whacked Alya, Marinette and Rudi's posteriors with wooden spoons. "Spanky, spanky, spank your butt! Oh da doo da day! Spank your butt all night, spank your butt all day! Spank your butt 'til it's red and sore! Wow, I hate your face!" They laughed wickedly before they ran out the window and out into the streets.

The kids rubbed their sore bottoms. "Never thought I would be on the receiving end of that."

"Come on!" Alya grabbed him and Marinette by their hands and ran outside. It was chaos. The Sapotis were doing everything naughty and wrong. They wrote all over the walls of houses with crayons, pulled out the flowers in the park, tore people's clothes to shreds, sloshed in mud, beat a poor service dog with a stick, broke into people's houses, jumped on people's hairs and demanded piggy back rides.

Marinette turned and started to run in another direction. "Where are you going?!" Rudi called out.

"To get a big net!" she called over her shoulder as she turned a corner.

"A net?!" exclaimed Rudi. "You're going to need a giant fishing net to catch all these!" He gestured to the chaos. Suddenly he felt something bite his bottom. "AUGH!" He ran around in circles with a Sapoti biting him. "GET IT OFF ME! GET IT OFF ME!"

He ran around a corner, then kicked the red imp away, sending it flying.

He ran back to Alya's place and went to his bag. "I think it's time to put these kids to bed, don't you think," he asked as he reached for the Mask.

I dunno, this seems like my kind of mischief.

"Sorry, but there's only room for one mischief maker in this city and it's me! IT'S SHOWTIME!" He slapped the Mask on and transformed into Big-Head.

Marinette hid behind a dumpster. When she made sure no one was looking, she let Tikki out of her purse. "Time to transform. Tikki, SPOTS ON!" Tikki got sucked into the earrings and in a flash of red and black, Marinette turned into Ladybug.

Elsewhere, Jagged Stone and his assistant Penny hopped into a limo. "To the airport," Penny said to the driver.

The Sapoti in the driver's seat screamed "ROCK N' ROLL!" before another Sapoti slammed on the gas, giving the rock star and his assistant a wild ride.

Nearby, a Sapoti hopped into a garbage bin. A garbageman dumped the bin into the back of a garbage truck, and numerous multiplied clones escape, much to his surprise.

Meanwhile, Théo Barbot was giving a tour to a couple on his rickshaw. The bus door next to him opened to reveal Sapoti clones. They attacked Théo and the couple. Five of the clones rode off on the rickshaw.

Elsewhere, a man is whistling while sweeping the street. A Sapoti shouted "TRAFFIC!" into a traffic cone like it were a bullhorn. Startled, the man fell down and saw the Sapoti clones laughing as they continued to cause a huge mess around him.

At the Le Grand Paris, Chloe screamed as Sapotis burst out of her closet, tearing up her clothes. She hid under her bed and whimpered. "This is horrifying! Utterly, utterly horrifying! Those aren't even released yet!"

Suddenly, there was a loud booming sound followed by silence. Chloe peeked out from under the bed to find the Sapotis all gone. In the middle of the room was Walter, holding an elephant gun.

Chloe crawled out and said, "Th-Thank you."

Walter looked out the window and saw a green blur rounding up all the Sapotis in a giant net. He gave Chloe the gun and jumped out. "Wait!" she called out. "What am I supposed to do with this?!" She looked at the gun and shivered. "I don't even know how to use it."

Meanwhile, Adrien was watching the news with Plagg. Nadja Chamack did her report, "These miniature monsters seem to be attacking more and more people throughout Paris! And - OH!" Two more Sapotis attacked her. Then another one wearing a blonde wig babbled a "report".

"I think we better take care of this, Plagg. Plagg?"

Plagg was hiding all his cheese in a hidden compartment in Adrien's shelf. "These food thieves are really dangerous! What are you waiting for?!"

"Plagg, CLAWS OUT!" Plagg was sucked into the ring and in a flash of black, Adrien turned into Chat Noir.

One of the clones was fiddling with an opened traffic light control panel when Ladybug and Chat Noir both appeared, surrounding it. "It's forbidden to play around with traffic lights," they scolded it.

The clone fell in surprise and got its limbs tangled in the wires. "You're just in time, kitty," said Ladybug as she took off the beanie it was wearing and snapped it in two. It vanished in a puff of smoke, and so did the hat...but to her confusion, there was no Akuma.

"How'd you know to destroy the monster's hat?" Chat Noir asked.

"I...uh... Trial and error."

"But no Akuma's been released!"

Ladybug realized, "No, 'cause that monster was a clone!" Another Sapoti ran past them. "These Sapotis multiply every time they eat. To get to the Akuma, we'll have to destroy the original one — the very first one Hawk Moth Akumatized."

Chat Noir glanced at the hundreds of clones wreaking havoc. "So you mean we've gotta catch 'em all."

Ladybug smirked. "I thought you liked a challenge."

"Luckily for you," said Big-Head as he arrived with a huge cage containing hundreds of angry Sapotis clones. "I got a head's start. One hundred down. And..." He looked at the clones causing chaos and slumped. "...and a million more to go."

BOOM!

The heroes recoiled when an explosion caused the cage and all the Sapotis to blow up. Stepping out of the flames was Walter, carrying a submachine gun. Big-Head gulped loudly. "Uh, hey, Walter! How's crimes? We haven't seen you in a while so I figured you retired! GUAGH!" Walter shoved his hand into Big-Head's mouth and stretched it out before tying it into a noose. "Help me, Ladybug," Big-Head mumbled.

"ATTACK!" A huge group of Saptis charged. Walter twirled the tongue like a yo-yo before letting it go and capturing them. He tightened it, squeezing them until they popped.

"Walter, stop!" Ladybug shouted. "They're just kids! What if you hurt the real ones?!" Walter gave her an expressionless look. "Please. Don't hurt them," she begged.

"What about me?!" Big-Head shouted. "I'm the victim here!"

Suddenly, there was a low rumble. Everyone turned and saw a huge tidal wave of angry Saptois heading straight for them. Walter suddenly felt that his fist was empty. He looked down to see Big-Head was gone. And so were Ladybug and Chat Noir. That's not all; his pants were down. He didn't have enough time to pull them back up before he was overwhelmed by the wave of naughty imps.

"Well," said Big-Head as he pulled his tongue back into his mouth. "With Walter caught with his pants down, what do we do next?"

"I don't know," said Chat Noir. "There's too many of them!"

"We could corral them."

"How? There's no pen that could hold them all and they could take over the entire country of France if they keep eating!"

"I know what I'm gonna do. LUCKY CHARM!" Ladybug twirled her yo-yo in the air and its magic created...

"A teapot?" Chat Noir asked.

Ladybug inspected it. "It looks oddly familiar."

"Whatcha gonna do with it?" Big-Head asked. "Have a Chinese styled tea party?"

Ladybug thought of his words. "Chinese styled..." Her eyes lit up. "That's it, I know how to stop this! Wait here, I'll be back!" She took off running and disappeared after jumping over the rooftops.

"I suppose you know what she's talking about?" Big-Head asked Chat Noir who shook his head.

Master Fu sipped his tea when someone knocked on the door to the massage parlor. "It is open," he called out. He was pleasantly surprised to see Marinette and Tikki come in.

"Hello, Master Fu."

"Hello, Marinette."

Wayzz popped out from the gramophone's horn. "Marinette? But you're not supposed to come to Master Fu's place!"

"Let her talk, Wayzz."

Marinette sat down in front of the old man. "Master, I used my Lucky Charm, but strangely, I think it was a hint which was telling me to come here in a way."

"I see. Marinette, I taught you all about the Miraculous and their powers. You know that yours works in a very mysterious way. I think it's trying to tell us that you need help this time." Master Fu walked over to the gramophone, but he hesitated to push the buttons on it. "I don't know if it's safe. I already took an enormous risk by putting two Miraculous' into circulation. Especially with the Mask of Loki out there."

"And you were right to do it. Chat Noir and I are very careful," said Marinette.

Master Fu thought it over, then nodded. He opened the gramophone, revealing the Miracle Box and placed it in front of her before opening it, revealing the current fourteen Miraculous' stored inside, including twelve based off of the Chinese Zodiac. "Marinette, pick an ally you can trust to fight alongside you in this mission. Choose wisely. Such powers are meant to serve the greater good. They must never get into the wrong hands."

"Like Hawk Moth's."

"Yes. Once the mission is over, you must retrieve the Miraculous from them and bring it back to me. Until we've unlocked all the secrets of the spell book, it's too dangerous to allow any more Miraculous to be out in the open for very long. And above all else, do not let Big-Head get his hands on them. If the magics of the Miraculous' and the Mask of Loki mix, there's no telling what might happen." Marinette eyed the Miraculous' and hummed in thought. "Is there someone you have in mind?"

Marinette reached for the Bee but then changed her mind and chose the Fox instead. "Yes, Master. I know just the right person!"

At the Place des Vosges, Alya was trying to negotiate with a group of Sapotis that had commandeered the carousel. "Listen! We can renegotiate the amusement park idea if you want, 'kay? But first, I need you to chill out and come back home with me." They responded by blowing raspberries at her. Suddenly, Ladybug appeared and used her yo-yo to stop the carousel, sending the Sapotis flying in all directions. They landed on the ground with a thud, making them disappear.

Alya was ecstatic to see her. "Ladybug! My sisters have been Akumatized! I need to find them and bring them back home!"

"There's a way for you to find your sisters. But we're gonna need your help! You interested?"

Alya thought she was dreaming. "Me? Help you superheroes? You bet I am! Just wait till I tell Marinette about this!"

She was about to take out her phone when Ladybug grabbed her hand. "Hold on now. This has to be a secret. Not a word to your friends or on the Ladyblog."

"Oh, right. Understood."

Ladybug nodded. She had indeed made the right choice. She held up a ring box. "Alya Césaire, here is the Miraculous of the Fox, which grants the power of Illusion. You will use it for the greater good. Once the job is done, you will return the Miraculous to me. Can I trust you?"

Alya nodded and took the box. "Totally, Ladybug." She opened it, revealing a fox tail necklace. Something popped out of the necklace and floated in front of her. It looked like a fairy with an orange fox's tail and ears. Alya jumped back in surprise. "Wah! What is this thing?"

"I am not a thing," said the fairy. "I am Trixx. I am your Kwami."

"My Kwami? I know! You're what gives superheroes their superpowers, right?"

"Not a bad choice," Trixx said to Ladybug.

"Told you. She is the expert."

Alya had to pinch herself again. She wasn't dreaming at all! "Mind blown! By the way, how old are you?" she asked Ladybug. "Do you have any idea of Chat Noir's true identity? There's no way—"

"Focus, Alya."

"Right. Sorry." Alya put the necklace on.

"Ready to be a superhero?"

Trixx said, "All you have to say is, 'Trixx, let's pounce!'"

Alya nodded. "I'm ready. Trixx, LET'S POUNCE!" Trixx was sucked into the necklace and in a flash of orange, Alya was wearing an orange bodysuit and coat with white-tipped tails, an orange and white domino mask and a headband with fox's ears. Strapped to her hip was a flute. She looked herself over and squealed with excitement. "This is so awesome! But I look like Lila when she was Akumatized in this suit," she recalled the whole Volpina incident.

"Yes, but the superhero version! Come on; I'll explain the rest to you on the way!" Ladybug swung her yo-yo to get up to a building's roof. Rena Rouge jumped up to follow her, shrieking in amazement. She looks around Paris as they both jump from roof to roof. She felt so free and strong. "This is so cool!"

"Focus on the mission," Ladybug reminded her.

Big-Head panted in exhaustion as he slammed the door on the big metal container with thousands upon thousands of Sapotis shrieking angrily inside. "How did we do all this?" he asked an equally tired Chat Noir.

"I don't know, you pulled out a giant vacuum cleaner out of your pocket and...I don't know. The rest is a blur."

Just then, Ladybug and Alya appeared. "We're here Chat Noir," said Ladybug before she realized the streets were empty. "Wait. Where are the Sapotis?" In response, Big-Head banged the container.

"Oh, that's not fair," complained Alya. "I didn't even get the chance to use my powers yet!"

Big-Head took one look at her and pulled a gun on her, making her gasp. "What is Lila doing here?" he asked darkly.

"Wait!" Ladybug blocked his path. "That's not Lilia! And that is the real Fox Miraculous!"

Big-Head gave her a look. "How do you know that?"

"Because I entrusted her with it personally!"

"Yeah," said Alya. "My name is...uh...Rena Rouge! Yeah! Rena Rouge!"

Big-Head stared at her for a couple of seconds before lowering the gun. "Alright."

"You trust her?"

"Call it a gut feeling." Big-Head's stomach groaned.

Chat Noir walked up to the fox heroine and took her hand. "Welcome to our team! If you need any cool superhero tips, you know where to come!"

Rena Rouge teased him, "Really? You're gonna give me Ladybug's phone number?"

Chat Noir chuckled, "I have a feeling working with you is gonna be a lot of fun!"

Hawk Moth sneered at the arrival of Rena Rouge. "A new hero. So I was right! There are indeed other Miraculous' in the city! Sapotis, listen to me! Four superheroes are nothing against you! There are still enough of you to destroy everything! So band together and take their Miraculous' and the Mask of Loki, or I'll remove your powers and there'll be no more mischief!"

The container banged again and started to rock back and forth. "Uh, are you sure you that thing can hold them?" Ladybug asked warily.

"Of course," said Big-Head. "There's no way a million little monsters are going to break out of there." A giant red fest punched its way out. Then the container exploded and two giant Sapotis reared their heads back and roared. "Two giant monsters? That's another story."

"Look out!" Ladybug and Chat Noir grabbed Rena Rouge and they all hopped onto a roof just as another fist came crashing down. The heroes gasped as they watched the giant Sapotis devour entire buildings, making more of themselves in the process.

Ladybug gave Big-Head a crazed look. "Any more bright ideas?"

"Well, I could use a big -"

"No. No more of your ideas," Ladybug said. "LUCKY CHARM!" She twirled her yo-yo in the air and its magic created... "A unicycle?"

Using her Lucky Vision, Ladybug highlighted the rickshaw, a garbage bin, four rakes, two traffic cones, Chat Noir's staff, Rena Rouge's flute, and finally the unicycle. "I've got it." She gathered up the rakes, traffic cones and unicycle and placed them in the garbage bin.

"Rakes? Unicycle wheel? Traffic cone? Tape? Trash can! Do you always make it this complicated when you're saving Paris?"

As part of her plan, Ladybug rode down the streets of Paris with Big-Head shouting into the traffic cone like a bull horn, "Hear ye, hear ye! Sapoti-Land, the amusement park of the future, is about to open! Mischief of all types are permitted in Sapoti-Land! All-you-can-eat desserts! Fountains of orange juice! Big-kid movies and video games!"

The giant Sapotis heard him and their eyes widened with excitement. They stomped after Ladybug, enticed by the prospects of kiddom.

Meanwhile, on a rooftop, Rena Rouge finished taping the rakes to the unicycle. "All right, Rena Rouge! Time to use your power!" said Chat Noir.

Rena Rouge looked uncertain as she held up the flute. "I've never tried it. I hope it works."

"Just think of the illusion you want to create. Stay focused!"

Rena Rouge thought of one thing Ella and Etta more than anything. "MIRAGE!" She blew into the flute and a light burst out from the far end of it, creating an amusement park so giant, only Godzilla could enjoy it. "Awesome!" Her necklace suddenly beeped and its color started to grow dark. "My necklace is flashing. Um, that means I'm gonna change back soon, right?"

"Yeah. But it's okay if I see who you are. I can keep a secret."

Rena Rouge chuckled at Chat Noir's offer. "Naughty kitty. You know very well that our identities must remain secret."

"Good job. You're a fast learner."

"If you need any superhero tips, you know where to come."

Chat Noir nodded and gave her a high five.

Down in the streets, Ladybug was still riding the rickshaw while Big-Head continued to yell into the traffic cone, "Follow me, and I'll take you to Sapoti-Land! Where there's no bedtime! Where everything goes!"

Hawk Moth tried to stop the giant gremlins, "No, wait! Don't go there! Ladybug's trying to trap you!"

But the Sapotis ignored him and continued to follow Ladybug. When they saw the giant amusement park, their eyes widened. "Sapoti-Land!" they cheered and ran past Ladybug and Big-Head, nearly crushing them.

"Phase two begins," said Chat Noir, holding up the wheel of rakes. "Once they get in range, I'll throw this like a Frisbee and..."

Suddenly, the Sapotis collapsed to the ground and did not get up. The heroes blinked in confusion and surprise. "What just happened?" Ladybug asked as they approached the giant gremlins.

When Rena Rouge heard them snoring, she was shocked. "No way. After all that, they just had an energy crash?"

"Or," said Big-Head as he pulled a dart from one of the Sapotis' leg. "Someone decided it was nap time."

Rena Rouge was outraged. "A tranquilizer dart? Who would dart innocent kids even if the are Akumatized?!"

Her answer came in the form of Walter holding the dart gun. His clothes were a mess and his hair looked like someone used a lawnmower on it. "I thought you were eaten by the Sapotis," Big-Head said, taking note of his disheveled look. In response, Walter grabbed him by the throat and tossed him into one of the Sapotis' beanies, tearing it open and releasing the Akuma inside.

Ladybug prepared her yo-yo. "No more evil-doing for you, little Akuma. Time to de-evilize!" She captured it and purified it. "Gotcha!" She let it go. "Bye-bye, little butterfly." Then she tossed the unicycle in the air and shouted, "MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!" The Miraculous Wave fixed all the damage caused and the Sapotis turned back into Ella and Etta, still fast asleep.

Ladybug, Chat Noir and Rena Rouge did a three-way fist bump. "Pound it!"

Rena Rouge walked over to the two sleeping girls and picked them up. "Let's get these two back home." A shadow crept over her. She looked up to see Walter staring down at her. "Uh...thanks?"

Ladybug grabbed her hand. "Let's go!" She and Rena Rouge took off, leaping over the rooftops.

Walter turned, only to find Chat Noir gone too. He dug into his pocket and pulled out a card. On it was a drawing of a hand with a ladybug in the center. He tapped the ladybug with his finger and watched it turned black.

Ladybug's right palm started to itch, but she ignored it.

Hawk Moth had an evil smirk as the circular window began to close. "You and your friends have defeated me this time, Ladybug! But thanks to you, now I know there are other Miraculous' in Paris! And most likely, a Guardian!"

Rena Rouge gently placed the twins into bed and kissed their foreheads. Then she walked out the door and quietly closed it. She sighed with relief as she turned back into Alya and Trixx appeared. "That was unreal!" she said to the little Kwami.

"You've really helped us a lot. Thank you, Alya," Ladybug said, holding out her hand so she could get the necklace back. But Alya was hesitant. "Uh... You know, if I held onto it, I could help you again."

"You promised, Alya."

"Oh please, Ladybug! We'd make a great team! I could help Chat Noir and you every day! I could put the reins on Big-Head!"

Ladybug's earrings started to beep. "I'm about to transform back! Hurry!"

"Please?"

Ladybug's earrings beeped rapidly. "I have to go! I'm trusting you!" Ladybug jumped out the window and ran behind a dumpster just as she turned back into Marinette.

Alya stared at the window Ladybug jumped through. She looked down at the necklace. Trixx said, "You're absolutely right, Alya. I'm sure the three of you would make quite the team! You have all the makings of a true superhero. You're strong, brave; but most of all, you're trustworthy." However, the girl didn't feel trustworthy right now.

Marinette sighed in disappointment. Maybe she made the wrong decision. Suddenly, she heard a noise. She looked up from her hiding place to see Alya put the necklace back into the box and set it down on the steps of her house before walking back in. Marinette smiled. Or maybe she made the right decision.

Marinette handed the Fox Miraculous back to Master Fu, who placed it back in the Miracle Box. "You made the right choice, Marinette." The girl smiled.

When Marinette returned to Alya's home, she was surprised to find Rudi at the door. His hair and clothes were a torn up mess. "You would not believe what I've been through tonight," he hissed.

"I can't imagine," she said with pity as she knocked on the door.

Alya answered the door and pulled her two friends into a hug. "You're both okay!"

"Yeah, no thanks to you, Marinette," Rudi growled at Alya's friend. "How was that 'net' coming along?"

"I'm sorry," Marinette said. "I got tangled up by the Sapotis when I found one."

"You think that's something?" Alya said, clearly excited. "Something crazy happened to me!"

"What?" asked Rudi.

"I...well...my battery died." Alya chuckled nervously. "Can you believe it? My brand new phone. Super letdown, huh?"

Rudi looked disappointed. "No."

"I'm just glad you're safe," said Marinette.

"Ditto."

Later, Rudi took some popcorn out of the microwave and set it down on the coffee table. "Keep the noise down. My sisters are asleep at last," said Alya.

Marinette smiled as she popped some of it in her mouth. "All's well that ends well."

"Thanks to Ladybug and Chat Noir."

"And Big-Head," said Rudi. "And that fox girl. I wonder who she was? Definitely not Lila."

"Nope," said Marinette. "Lila was a selfish bully. That fox girl, she's the total opposite. Someone who is trustworthy." Alya nodded.

Some time after after Marinette and Rudi left, Alya was washing the dishes when something flew in the window. It was a paper airplane. "What the...?" She unfolded it and found a weird picture. An outline of a hand with an orange fox's face in the center. She looked out the window, but found no one. Who could have sent this? She shrugged her shoulders. Must have been someone's weird idea of a joke.

Across the street, Walter watched as the girl closed the window, then he turned and slowly walked back to the Grand Paris.
