Alessia Whiterock, 29
Head Gamemaker.
Alessia opened the door to Genevieve's office, poking her head in.
"Private sessions are done with, we've got the score results here for you to approve," Alessia said, stepping through the door. Genevive nodded and put a finger up, as she finished her conversation.
"Okay, sounds good Gerard. I'll see you soon. Tell Hades hello for me, I love you." Genevive said, hanging the phone up.
"Was that Gerard? How are he and the hubby?" Alessia said, walking through the office and seating herself on the corner of Genevieve's desk.
"Ah they're good, he's still in Two trying to catch the damn rebels," Genevive replied, pinching the bridge of her nose between her fingers.
"I see, next time you talk to him tell him hi from me." Genevive nodded and noted it on a notepad on her desk.
"So, private sessions, how did they go?" Genevive asked, placing her pen down. Alessia pulled her notebook out and flipped it open to the earmarked page.
"Well, starting off in District One, we have Jade Amberlynn."
"Didn't she attack Briony?" Genevive asked, tapping a finger on the desk.
"Yup, but she still put on quite the impressive show, proving her skills with her chosen weapon the katana as well as running an obstacle course in nearly record time."
"Her score is?" Genevive asked, interested in where it was going.
"Nine," Alessia said. Genevive nodded at it.
"And now to the intriguing Sarmiento Polar Torres, who managed to make several types of poisons out of the supplies given. He incapacitated five peacekeepers in the time given using all the supplies given." Alessia said.
"I've never seen a career use poisons before, that is quite intriguing. His score?" Genevive said, perking up at Sarmiento's interesting weapon of choice.
"Ten," Alessia said. Genevive nodded, pleased with the score.
"Now, onto District Two, starting with the fierce Scipia Karthus, who showed off her prowess with both knives and lances, beating the trainers with both as well as running the agility course." Genevive nodded.
"Her score?" Genevive asked.
"Ten."
"We move onwards, to the jokester Matthias Laune who displayed his sword-fighting skills, taking out a few trainers but eventually being taken down," Alessia said as she turned the page.
"His score?" Genevive asked.
"Eight," Alessia replied.
"And so we move onto District Three, with Janna Coil," Alessia said, flipping the page again.
"Quite the name she has eh?" Genevive said with a grin. Alessia nodded in agreement.
"She showed off some interesting trap and snare skills, setting up two snares to trap trainers in the given time." Alessia pushed her glasses up as she read her notes out.
"Her score?" Genevive asked.
"Four," Alessia replied.
"And now onto Malec Bridon, who displayed some quite impressive sword fighting skills, using a khopesh which he picked up very quickly during training." Alessia tapped her pen against the pad of paper.
"Score?" Genevive asked, pushing hair out of her face.
"Seven."
"To Four, we go next, to the unintended volunteer pair. We'll start with Molly McNamara, who showed some quite impressive knife-throwing skills, along with pulling the fastest run of the agility course so far as well as Cressian Vanderhall, who showed us some quite impressive spear-throwing skills for someone as young as he is, as well as making a small fire." Alessia said.
"Their scores?"
"Seven for both of them."
"We move swiftly onward to District Five, with Armitage VanBreck. Armitage showed incredible accuracy using a crossbow, and he also displayed fairly impressive hand to hand combat skills for someone from Five." Alessia said.
"Score?" Genevive asked.
"Seven."
"And his district partner, Beck Vars-Dyer. He did something I've never seen before, he constructed a solar still and managed to produce a fair amount of clean water from it." Alessia said.
"His score?" Genevive asked.
"Six."
"We're halfway through, it's time for District Six, starting off with Alexzandra Laison. Alexzandra showed some decent competence at hand to hand combat, and close-range knife fighting." Alessia said, adjusting her glasses.
"Speaking of them, we have an update on their mothers' whereabouts," Genevive said.
"Really? Is she okay?" Alessia asked, shifting forward in her seat to hear.
"Nope. She was found dead, stabbed to death, her body was dumped in a local pond. We suspect it may have had to do with the morphling problem in Six." Genevive said with a sigh.
"Oh shit. Well, we shall continue then, with Harry Ritchwell. He built quite the little shelter and started a small fire." Alessia said.
"Their scores?" Genevive asked.
"Alexzandra scored a five, Harry a four."
"Next! We have District Seven, starting with the ever terrifying Tovah Pines. She showed off some decent axe skills as well as some good fire-making skills. And her district partner Sylvan showed off, big surprise, more axe skills." Alessia said with a laugh. Axes from Seven was never a surprise.
"Their scores?" Genevive asked with a smile.
"Tovah won herself a four, Sylvan a five."
"Continuing to District Eight, we have Saxony Paccino. He displayed good climbing and trap making skills, and showed his prowess at using scythes. His district partner Scarlett showed promise at archery and fire-making." Alessia said.
"Their scores?" Genevive asked.
"Saxony earned himself a solid seven, Scarlett a five."
"Moving swiftly onward, we arrive in District Nine with the youngest pairing out of them all with Tima Bluebell and Emmerson Finch. Tima made a small fire and tied some knots and Emmerson did the edible plant quiz as well as building a small fire. They scored a two and a three respectively." Alessia said.
"The lowest scores yet?" Genevive asked. Alessia nodded.
"Now to District Ten. Keenan Briggan, quite the sneaky little guy he is, he snuck right up on us. Anyways, he showed off some knife-throwing skills alongside doing quite a good run-through of the edible plants' quiz. His district partner, Noah Skall beat the crap out of some dummies using a baseball bat, showing off his pretty incredible strength as well as building a small shelter and fire." Alessia said.
"Scores?" Genevive said.
"Their scores are five and seven respectively."
"Almost to the end now, District Eleven is up to bat. Briony Payne showed some quite good short sword fighting skills, surprisingly good for someone from an outer district. Her district partner, Alvino Thornton showed off some scythe skills along with doing the edible plants quiz which he aced. Their scores are eight and four." Alessia said, flipping to the last page of tribute notes.
"Sounds good," Genevive said, nodding.
"And now we finish with District Twelve. Iara Novaia displayed her knife fighting skills alongside some fire-making skills. Fervin Nowledge, her district partner, showed off some climbing skills, and he ran the agility course with some pretty decent results. Their scores are both five." Alessia said, tossing her notebook down onto the desk.
"Everything seems good, prepare the tributes for their interviews," Genevieve said.
Score reveals! Is there anyone who surprised you with their score? We'll be off to interviews next chapter, so I'll see you there. Signing off, Times.
