Olivia looked at the clock and tried to make herself call Fitz. She hadn't spoken with him since he left yesterday morning. She wanted to call him yesterday when she finished running errands, but it was really late in Scotland. She couldn't let another day go by without calling him. Fitz was still her friend even though he made her scream sometimes and not in a good way. She missed him the week they didn't speak. A part of her was still afraid of Fitzgerald Grant. He couldn't take Karen, but he could take her baby. She didn't want him to move in anymore, and she certainly didn't want marriage. The thought of him being able to take Karen and her baby was scary. She read too many horror stories of mother's losing custody battles and only seeing their children every other weekend.

Despite being afraid of getting any closer to him, she wasn't ready to cut him out of her life. In a few weeks, she would have enough energy to jog again or get a gym membership. She wanted Fitz by her side during her fitness journey. She was exhausted from hanging out with Harrison. He was rarely in DC, so she wanted to spend a lot of time with him before he drove back to Virginia. She didn't plan on going to a wedding and a reception at a hotel, but he wanted her with him at the wedding. His job was very awkward. Women hired him for dates. He was the date for one of the bridesmaid's. They were together for pictures at the reception until she told Harrison he could leave. Olivia called Fitz and waited for him to answer.

"Hello?"

"Hi, I know it's really late in Scotland. It's been a long day for me."

"Tell me about it."

"Okay, I had some long errands today. A friend came to town and invited me to a wedding."

"What friend?"

"Harrison."

"How do you know him?"

"He was my neighbor in Virginia. Well, he wasn't exactly next door. Nothing is next door in rural Virginia."

"What kind of friend is he?"

"We don't have sex if that's what you're asking."

"So you had energy to attend a wedding today?"

"Not really. I am very tired. He asked me to go to the wedding, so I pushed through it."

"So you can't push through it when Karen needs dinner? I guess Harrison is in a special category."

"I didn't cook dinner one day. I'm not a bad mom."

"No, but you are showing me who is really important to you."

"Is this about you or Karen?"

"We're in a relationship, and you're making another man happy."

"Who said we're in a relationship? We are co-parenting."

"You are not single Olivia."

"You're not fucking me, so I am single."

"And why am I not fucking you, Olivia?"

"Because you want to get married. I want to jog together, co-parent with you, and I want you to make me scream your name. Is that too much to ask for?"

"Yes."

"I'm giving you what you want Fitz. You want to co-parent. You can take Karen the whole day next Saturday. I'm taking a spa day."

"Okay Livvie. I'll give you what you want. A good fuck and then I'm going home. No kissing only fucking."

"Thank you."

"Goodnight Livvie."
