I know I'm gonna get hate and death threats shoved up the ass for this, but I don't hate the new trilogy. But if I were rewriting it, is it any indication that I think it's perfect? Of course not! But what I'm doing here is reintroducing familiar elements but putting new spins on them. So try to keep an open mind here, okay?

30. Ch 27 Leia and Holdo

Leia turns her attention to Holdo. "What about your fleet? Can it handle another attack?" "The task force above us before they arrived was the biggest. Sure, star cruisers are more common in the core worlds, but the Mid Rim would be lucky to find anything larger than an assault frigate."

Leia slumps in her chair. "I told Mon Mothma that the demilitarization bill was a bad idea… But at least we know our next move." Holdo looks at her confusingly. "What's that?" Leia replies, "Bennold's from Kokash. His homeworld is on the border between the Inner Rim and the Unknown Regions. No doubt the New Order used it as a launching point." "So you're sending your fleet there?" "Along with some New Republic support?" "I'm sure I can scrounge up some ground forces, if it's come under full occupation." "Alright. I'll marshall my forces."
