Sound Of Silence

Hailey wanted to no starch that needed to get the hell out of here. Been weeks Lucia needed her, it was then trying to escape was fruitless. Or so she thought, still in Chicago it was easy, knowing she had her cellphone in her panties in a baggie pulling it out she quickly called Adam checking around making sure the coast was clear before she did anything clicking dial knowing it would work. Hearing the dial tone knowing what time it was sure he would be pissed.

"Listen to me carefully get back over the station house text everybody follow my instructions." Adam quickly listens to the soft woman's voice before doing her binding. "Okay at my desk what am I doing and or looking for?" Hailey needs to do this easily or else it will not work waiting to any noise from anybody still hearing loud snoring still in the bathroom. "need to track my call, once you get a hit let me so I can hang up." Hailey was hoping this would work, if not then fuck her family was going to sell her if this does not happen now. Hearing more typing finally she hears. "Got it, good now text everybody hurry yourselves my life is on the damn line." Before Hailey could hang up it was then Adam was about to hang up when he heard that all familiar voice. "Bastard get off me now!" Adam knew he was talking to Hailey it was then he placed the call on speaker "yo boss I have Hailey on the line she is fighting with someone boss it does not sound good." Hearing more foot steps it was then she heard her mom's voice at least that she what she hopes "YOU STUPID BITCH! YOU GAVE BIRTH AT FIFTEEN YOU SLUT HOW DARE YOU! PITY YOUR SON WILL NEVER KNOW ITS MOTHER!" Adam quickly took that information in when he hears Hailey's voice. "THAT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE CONSIDERING I AM STILL ON THE PILL." Adam heard what sounded like a gun, sadly it was but not a cop. "YOU EVER LIE TO US GIRL YOU DIE WERE YOU STOOD GET UP NOW!." Hailey moves there is no telling what would happen bad enough if her family was going to sell as a virgin it was then Adam clicked on something damn she was telling the truth it was a boy she saved whom was in the same spot as she was only her fifteen him eight years old, Hailey saved him called him Sheldon Bradly Upton took him as her son. Question we all have where is Sheldon now? Whom does he call her?" It was then he heard the shots at least four of them. Before a woman's voice went on the line "Don't know whom you be that the slut called can you tell you this she is dead or soon to be sadly she is bleeding out." The line disconnected it was then Adam called everybody including Special Victims leaving the desk not looking back at Hailey's desk if he did sure would have lost it.

They all showed up at the hotel that Hailey called them from it was then Adam asked the front desk manger about a boy fifteen named Sheldon. Nobody would tell him a thing it was then he realized he had to keep up with everybody else to find Hailey. Storming into the hotel number guns were blazing inside lucky for them they had on the vests. With automatic machine guns things were going to get nasty lucky for them they called in a little SWAT with some heavy man power took out some pretty close ones. Hank went to the place calling out Hailey's name it was then he screamed "NO!" Adam did not want to move, nobody else followed his lead.

There on the bed covered in three shots to the chest Hailey was breathing heavy knowing she was losing a lot of blood she had to hang on it was then she heard Chicago and saw SWAT it was then she lied back down holding on to her chest feeling all the love Hank gave her. Knowing she is going die, tears are streaming down her face as the future she sees of the two of them flashes through her eyes. Hailey in her wedding dress, Hailey's first expecting child or children. Seeing them play with their daddy Lucia's graduation. Sheldon the boy she adopted at fifteen whom was eight years old at the time, her handsome son hiding away in a storage locker alive and well, always made sure he had food nobody was to take care of him, nobody was going to know." Tears welding in her eyes trying to force them down her checks it was her last breath when she heard "NO!" Going towards the light, going towards peace. Future that would happen will never happen again.

Hank was at her side, picking Hailey up, knowing that he does not have long the nearest hospital was closer then Med sadly. Racing towards the stairs with Hailey in his arms, carrying her bridal style down the stairs it was then he was racing to save her, racing to save his future, racing to save their love. Spotting his car Hank places her in the front of the seat already soaking the seat holding her chest while trying to keep it together it was then he could lose her, it was then he would be alone again, back into his cold shell. Slamming his other hand on the steering wheel no he would not let it happen.

Donny got away along with his wife and lover, smirking "sadly I had to shoot her, she called her lover now what are we going to do we owe them Hailey." That was when the woman spoke "we need time, the unexpected came up, we will hand over Hailey after she was fully healed this time we will guard her, not some guards who can not do shit, whomever Hailey works with killed all them." Hearing the heels click in rhythm on the basement concrete floor as she walked away.

Hank pulled up, leaving the car door open as he stepped inside "MY OFFICER HAS BEEN SHOT SHE NEEDS AN OPERATING ROOM STAT! ALSO CALL MED ASK FOR WILL!" That left some of the staff but did the guy a favor for a fellow worker. Hank did not care he was getting looks, did not care about the blood, all he cared about was her. It was then they were going to call him with any details. Sadly he had to leave if not he would go stir crazy.

As Hank walked back to the car, "you better live baby, you hear me kitten you better live" turning the car over he sped back into the city to district 21. Climbing the stairs he was beyond pissed. Hank just heard from Kevin that they got away, it was then he punched the wall the point it cracked knowing his fist was going to go threw it he stopped.

Adam was afraid to move, afraid to tell him more bad news but this was a kid that Hailey saved, from the same fate Hailey would have experienced. Getting up Adam took the bullet whatever came his way. Knocking on the offices door "Sarge, know if I did not have to come to you I would not would handle this on my own. Hailey is protecting someone named Sheldon Bradly Upton. No clue were to look, my biggest fear they would use the boy make Hailey a target again." Adam stepped back, not wanting to piss him off, it was then he said "You drive know where to look." Hank just took it all in, Hailey had a storage locker seen her go in there time to time. Lucky for Hank he knew how to pick locks.

Adam looked where they were parked, it was then Hank got out, Adam followed. "Trusting you with this secret, found Hailey a few times coming here with loads of bags so I knew that she was hiding something." Hank knew whom it was gotta love his impeccable timing. "Stand down its Kelly." Kelly gets out of his mustang "so this were the kid hiding?" Kelly looked over at Hank, and Adam "guess Sarge he knows as well." Kelly smirked "Nah I found out though Will they would not put her under unless Sheldon was safe." Hank and Adam just stared at Kelly just then. Hank gave his famous look before unlocking the padlock it was then they saw the boy. "Mom is that you?" Hank looked over at the two of them it was going to be a long night.
