A Marvelous Girl And A Insane Doll.

Kamala Khan was part of a Pakistani Family in New Jersey. Despite her traditional roots, Kamala was the typical American teenager, wanting to both be herself and make her family proud. For most of her life, Kamala was a fan of superheroes, especially the Avengers and, more importantly, Carol Danvers, AKA Captain Marvel. So much so that she started writing online fan-fiction about the Avengers and Captain Marvel, and joined the Carol Danvers Corps online. Kamala's life as a hero began when she was exposed to the Terrigen mist. This would turn her in to an Inhuman and granted her the power of Polymorph, which gave her the abilities of shape-changing powers.

Despite being one of the youngest heroes around, Kamala proved herself quickly and is now fighting against evil, just like her idols. Right now she was on her way home, not knowing someone was watching her from the roof tops. A deadly Shadaloo Assassin called Decapre.

A member of M. Bison's elite guard, the Dolls, Decapre is the imperfect product of Shadaloo's cloning experiments that would eventually result in Cammy's creation. Despite Cammy's constant attempts and varied results of success to free her sister from Bison's control, the evil mad man knew how to make Decapre fall in line again. And now Decapre was back under his control and was sent out to capture Inhumans so they could be used for Shadaloo's experiments. Alive or dead, it mattered little.

"Target acquired. Commencing capture" Decapre said before turning on her blade.

Kamala was humming to herself until she dropped her phone which almost landed in a puddle. Luckily she managed to save it before it hit the water. She sighed in relief but then noticed something in the reflection of the water. She turned just in time to avoid lossing her head to a blade.

"WOW!" She yelled as she stumbled a little before her assailant "What is your problem".

"You are a target. That's all you need to know" Decapre declared as she held up her blade again.

"What ever you say creepy lady. If I need to kick your butt to make it home then fine" Kamala declared as she enlarged her fist and jumped in to the air to deliver a blow.

Decapre saw the attack and jumped back readying her blade and dashed to stab the young Inhuman. Kamala jumped over the attack and hit Decapre in the back knocking her over. Decapre swung her blade again and graced Kamala's when she landed, leaving a small cut in her side, luckily not deep enough to be lethal and nothing her healing couldn't handle. But to many direct hits would be really bad.

Kamala shrunk down and ran in front of Decapre uppercutting the shadaloo doll as she grew back to normal size. Decapre hissed in annoyance and delivered several blows and kicks, with the final kick sending Kamala in to a wall. She ducked to avoid being stabbed through the head, and slammed her large palm in to Decapre's chest, sending the doll in to the opposite wall. Decapre shook her head and glared daggers at the Inhuman teenager, and it was getting more clear that bringing in Kamala alive was less of a worth while effort now.

What was also getting clear was the fact that Kamala was hopelessly outclassed in terms of hand to hand combat. This chick could likely give Black Widow a hard time. Kamala's powers helped, but Decapre was fueled by psycho power, which helped make the power gap smaller. Kamala would be sliced apart if she didn't think of a better plan. With that she made her legs longer and jumped, before lengthening her arms to pull herself on to a roof top.

"You won't get away!" Decapre declared as she followed Kamala.

"Crap, crap, crap!" Kamala repeated as she used her long legs to jump from roof top to roof top, with Decapre in hot pursuit. If only Kamala could get the chance to call for help, surely Decapre wouldn't be able to take on two heroes at the same time.

Kamala was suddenly kicked in the back and fell to a root top. She gasped as Decapre came down towards her, a psycho powered blade ready to go through her heart. Kamala reacted quickly, and managed to extend her hand to punch Decapre in the jaw, which made her flip through the air before she landed on her feet, rubbing her jaw, her glare never leaving her face for even a moment.

Kamala needed time, but Decapre refused to give her any. At this rate Kamala would have no choice but to deal with the doll herself. Wait, the roof top! They were on a tall building, meaning Decapre did not have any walls to bounce around on, so her movement was now more limited. Maybe Kamala could take advantage of this. It was worth a shot, as she got in to a boxing stance, remembering some martial art lessons she got from the more skilled heroes. She was always told her powers could become a crutch if she relied to much on them. Being a good fighter required more than fancy powers, you needed to have the skills to use them, and the skills to defend yourself in case you can't trust your powers to get the job done. Always have a extra tool in the box.

Decapre didn't know what the teenager was planing, but wasn't concerned. She dashed forward with her blade out for a stab... but Kamala managed to dodge to the side and slugged Decapre in the face, hard enough to make her roll across the roof for a bit. Kamala smiled to herself, she did it! She landed a solid hit! If she could use her powers more effectively, maybe Decapre's superior skills wouldn't matter to much. Decapre rushed in again, unleashing another barrage of attacks that Kamala was barely able to defend herself against. She blocked one of Decapre's blows, before snaking her arm around Decapre's arm, restraining her and allowing Kamala to knee her in the gut, before tossing her away.

Decapre got back up and let out a scream as her power flared more. Kamala gulped, having a feeling she might've lost her advantage. Decapre dashed in at full speed, focring Kamala to start running again but Decapre was not letting her, jumping in to the air as she came dashing down like a glowing spear. But Kamala extended her arm, grabbed Decapre's blade arm before slamming her through the roof, creating a large hole. Kamala hoped no one was home as they would be in for quite the shock if a crazy lady suddenly crashed through their sealing.

Kamala still decided to walk over and check. She peeked down the hole before Decapre suddenly jumped up, slashing Kamala from her belly to her shoulder. Kamala cried out in pain as she fell back, her healing factor began to repair the damage, but unlike the Wolverine family her healing factor drained her. If she takes any more hits like that, she is finished. Decapre seemed to know this too as she walked towards Kamala with a killer look. Kamala got back up but before she could fight back, Decapre struck her in the face before kicking her in the gut. Decapre then dashed around like a blurr, and managed to slash Kamala several times, bringing her to her knees.

Kamala couldn't risk making herself bigger. She would only make herself a bigger target, and it would take to much out of her. She needed to fight smarter, not harder. She tried to remember a lesson that could be useful. She was told to try to figure out her enemy's weakness. But what weakness did that insane chick have? Wait... that's it! Her insanity was her weakness. She wasn't focusing like she did before, which has lead to tunnel vision. Kamala just needed to find a way to exploit that. Meaning she would need to start going in full force.

Decapre jumps at her but Kamala blocks her punch with an enlarged fists and uppercuts her before throwing her back. She then grabbed Decapre's leg and headbutts her hard before slamming Decapre right into the ground. Decapre's enhancement saved her from any fatal injures, but they still hurt. Kamala grabs her again before she slams her foot into Decapre's face, then she launched Decapre into a building before wrapping Decapre up in her large hand and repeatedly punching her with her other arm before throwing her in to a wall.

Decapre grunts in pain, her psycho power slowly starting to fade, before looking up as Kamala jumps at her with an enlarged fist. Decapre quickly blocks it with both her arms, but the impace was strong enough to send her through the wall. Kamala carefully followed her inside and was assaulted again as Decapre struck her across her back. Kamala couldn't take anymore and managed to grab Decapre before slamming her in to the ground. She then made both her hands bigger and began to pounding the downed assassin over and over again, in a method that would make Hulk proud. Kamala kept it up until she had to stop due to being drained. She saw Decapre laying on the ground, she wasn't moving and her psycho power was completely gone. Kamala was worried that she could be dead.

"H-hey? You still there?" Kamala asked but got no response. She walked up to Decapre and gasped when she noticed she wasn't breathing "Oh no! I didn't mean to! Come on don't be dead!".

Kamala placed both her hands on Decapre's chest and began giving her CPR. She pumped Decapre's chest several times, before doing something she was not comfortable with. She put her mouth over Decapre's own and blew in to the doll's mouth. She pumped her chest again before blowing in to her mouth some more. She repeated this several times before Decapre finally began coughing and started breathing again.

Kamala sighed in relief "To think I would end up saving someone who tried to kill me a minute ago. Well, now I have the chance to call for help".

Kamala contacted the other heroes who soon arrived and brought Decapre in to costody. Kamala felt some pride that she managed to both defeat a enemy and save a life. She was later informed of Decapre's situation and now Kamala was even more happy she saved her. No one should be a slave, and now Kamala had given Decapre a chance to be freed from Bison's control. Something Cammy was very thankful to her for... not every day Cammy hugs someone, but Kamala got a hug of a life time.

All in all, Kamala had once again prove she had the potential to be a great hero one day... but she still needs training. Oh well, a win is a win.

A short chapter inspired by the new Avengers game. I just fot the game and it has been a blast so far. The gameplay is fun, the graphics helps setting the tone and the story really pulls me in. I can safely say that it has the potential of being one of my favorite games of the year. And the few flaws the game has is easy to ignore. And it is not a pay to win game, you can easily play the game without having to spend a single penny. And the free future heroes and mission should have people coming back to it for a while after they finish it.

Still I am not one of the people who can finish a game in one go. So I still have a lot more to do and I can't wait.

.

With that out of the way, tell me what you think of the chapter.
