Chapter 62

Hermione was anxious that day. It all needed to be perfect. It had to be. She woke up much earlier than expected and looked at the set of knickers and brassier in front of her. She longed to see Severus' face when he saw her in them. They were simple but she knew he would love to see her in them. They were deep blood red and fit her perfectly. She smiled when she put them on. She had all of it planned out. It was a Friday so they had a free period in the afternoon. They would not go to Charms or Herbology. Hermione applied the lightest bit of make up after she showered and tried to make her hair look less frizzy. She wore it in a French braid. Severus loved to undo her hair when they had sex. He liked to play with the curls.

She met Lily at the entrance common room. The girl had a parcel on her hands. "He is going to love this." She said with a smile.

"What did you get him?" Hermione asked a little worried about skipping school.

"Some books he liked growing up. Nothing too special." She said quickly. Hermione smiled at her. Lily had a knack for giving presents. It bothered her to no end. Hermione would win this time. She knew it.

Hermione squashed her doubts and walked alongside her. He was not at this table yet. Severus was always late. It took every single cell in his body to wake up in the morning. He always looked starved and sleep deprived. She knew he ate well. He always did.

Sirius and James ate heartily, "where's Remus?" Lily asked as she sat down.

"Infirmary. He was sick last night. He needs his rest today." Peter offered while looking at the Hufflepuff table.

They had a full moon yesterday. "Oh, I will see him later." Lily said as she ate some toast.

"Moony would love if you visited." Sirius pushed the issue.

"Remus will be fine. I will see him tomorrow." She said and tried to scan the Slytherin table once more. She saw Regulus and Selwyn talking.

"Father is trying to negotiate a marriage with her parents. Reg was tasked to befriend Magnolia. He will officially court her soon." Sirius said.

Hermione rolled her eyes, "he's fifteen."

"Doesn't matter. He is still going to marry well." Sirius buttered his toast.

"What about you?" Hermione asked him.

"Well, why? Interested Granger?" Sirius flirted with her.

"In you? I would have to a brainless bimbo." Hermione replied acidly.

Sirius glared at her. Peter spoke for him. "Sirius is promised to his baby cousin. She is five."

Hermione laughed. It was utterly ridiculous. James and Lily joined her. Sirius stood up, "sod off. It will not happen." He left the Great Hall.

James made conversation with Lily until. "Oh there he is." Lily said and grabbed her hand. They went to his table and smiled. "Happy Birthday Sev." Lily launched herself at him and give him the parcel. Hermione smiled tightly. She was anxious. She kissed him and hugged him.

Lily interrupted the moment and offered him the parcel, "Open it." She said excitedly.

Severus smiled and opened it. His face lit up. Hermione felt a ball of lead in her stomach. "You remembered." He said and took the comic books out.

"I did." She said. Hermione read the title. "The Eagle." There were maybe twenty booklets. "I am trying to find more." Lily said with a huge smile.

"Lils, these are wonderful." He smiled at the Eagle comics. Hermione smiled tightly once more.

Lily was winning once again. Hermione thought she knew him best. She thought she knew everything about him but Lily appeared to have tidbits of information that she was not privy to. She had no idea he liked "Eagle" comics.

Hermione hugged him and decided that she would not let Lily have Severus. Severus was hers and he would remain hers. Hermione kissed him until he was breathless in front of the other girl who smiled at them and went back to the Gryffindor table. There were some whistles behind them. Hermione grinned at him when they separated. She felt him through his robes. "Room of requirement after Transfiguration." She said and pecked him once more.

Severus smiled and used to parcel to hide his erection. Hermione winked at him and flew out of the Great Hall. She went to History of Magic and had to endure to James and Sirius' reproachful looks. "You know he will chuck you out once he gets what he wants." James who sat by her told her.

Hermione frowned, "what would you know about Severus?"

"I know guys like him. He has Lily, you, Narcissa and Magnolia, all trailing after him. He's probably sleeping with Magnolia." He said with a concerned face.

"You are a nice girl. You are my friend. He's no good, none of them are. Remus cares for you. You should try and be friendly with him." James said and did the same thing face Harry did when he thought he could convince her of a crazy scheme.

"James, if you want to keep my friendship, you will stop right now. Keep your advice." Hermione hissed and moved away to sit by Marlene. The Ravenclaw girl smiled at her. "I saw that little display today. Good for you. Ms. Evans needs to learn her place."

Hermione blinked. "I like Lily. She is a nice girl but I'm happy for you. I'm more of an underdog type of gal." Marlene winked again.

Hermione felt bad for Lily. Some of the girls shunned her at times because she was so perfect. She felt bad for her friend and then frowned at Marlene. "Lily is my friend."

Marlene nodded, "she is. Snape is hot, you need to set the rules and stake claim. Half of these girls are plotting to take him away from you. They were undecided about who to fight with. They now know you are the one going out with him." She stated.

"I thought it was clear. We kiss in front of people all the time." Hermione was intrigued now.

"That's nothing. I kiss with Adam Bones all the time. It doesn't mean that I can't kiss the Black brothers or Rosier for that matter. I am fair game and so are they. You Ms. Granger sent a message today. You and Severus Snape are an item. That was made clear this morning. You snogged the living lights out of him and now Hogwarts knows."

Hermione tried to get more information out of Marlene but then professor Binns gave a test. Hermione concentrated on the test. Marlene grinned at her. Lily walked out with her. Hermione could not help but ask her.

"Marlene just said something crazy." Hermione said quickly as they moved to care for magical creatures.

She told her friend. Lily arched an eyebrow and primly said, "she never liked me but she is not incorrect. You made a statement."

Hermione frowned at her, "how does that make you feel?"

Lily rolled her eyes, "I do not care for Severus romantically. You know that. I am a little relieved that you did that. Maybe it will make my idiot future husband a little more secure that Severus will not come in a swoop me."

Hermione went into her next class with Hagrid. It always made her feel like home when she saw him. He was just the same gentle giant. She greeted him enthusiastically and he replied with a big smile and a wave. Lily did not have that class with her. She had muggle studies along with James and Sirius.

She partnered up with Peter who was very quiet that day. She knew that it was because of her snogging Sev. She did not try to make conversation with him. Hermione did not care much for Peter. She still found him a bit repulsive.

Hermione then went to Arithmancy. It was the last class before she was to go to the Room of Requirement. She thought about the rumor mill and found that she did not care a bit. She smiled throughout the whole Arithmancy period and jumped out of her seat the moment that class was dismissed. Hermione skipped to the seventh floor and opened the door to find Severus inside. He smiled at her, that big excited smile of his.

"My, my Mr. Snape you are early." She said and he kissed her deeply. Hermione moaned when he kissed her neck. He placed more kisses on her neck and opened her blouse. He looked back at her as he unbuttoned her shirt. "I didn't go to any class. I left the comics on my dorm and then came here. I could not think of anything but you naked, under me, over me. You drive me to insanity. I want you so much. I am seventeen and so are you. Two consenting same age adults." His eyes were so dilated. Hermione shivered when he parted her school shirt.

"I have a gift for you." She said shyly.

Severus looked into her eyes. "I am unbuttoning my gift."

Hermione grabbed his hands and placed them away from her. "I mean an actual present."

Hermione opened her bag and took out the small box and gave it to him. "open it." She said. She became a little anxious then. She knew that it was thoughtful but maybe he would not like it.

Severus smiled and opened the box. It was a simple thing but his eyes shone with love for her. "I thought you would like it."

"I love it." He kissed her once more and laughed. "however did you find it?" He chuckled when he turned it around. It was a set of silver quills with green ink. Like the one he used to use when he was her teacher. Hermione smiled.

"I made them myself. It was tricky to get the silver to fold into the feathers." She said with a smile.

"You made them?" He asked her in awe.

Hermione nodded, "I did. I could not find any of them at Scrivenshaft's. I asked the clerk how to make golden quills and he showed me. They were not quite right. So I made them myself."

Severus chuckled, "I bought these your first year. I had them made by a muggle shop."

Hermione kissed him. "Do you like them?"

"I love them." He said and gently closed the lid on them. "I will only write with these from now on." He vowed.

Hermione kissed him some more. Severus moaned when she bit his neck and undid his shirt. Hermione let her shirt fall to the floor. "Do you like it?"

Severus ran his fingers over the brassier. "May I?" He asked and Hermione nodded. He lowered the straps and kissed her arm and chest. He placed her on the bed and unhooked the brassier. "I like it better off of you." He discarded it behind him.

Hermione squirmed when he removed her skirt and then looked at her knickers. Severus stood up and undid all of his clothes. Hermione felt his fingers tremble when he lowered her underwear. It was the first time they saw each other naked, fully naked. Hermione grinned and kissed him some more.

"I am going to be very gentle." He said in awe of her. They were both nervous. She found herself sighing when Severus played with her and placed his fingers inside her. He was painfully hard against her. She touched him and Severus trembled. They kissed and teased each other until they were both panting and pawing at each other.

"Inside me." She said breathlessly. He made her come from touching her. Severus trembled against her. They were both seventeen and in love but they were still very smart seventeen year olds. He grabbed his wand and pointed at his genitals. Hermione grabbed her wand and pointed at her womb.

Severus kissed her gently once more. "I love you so much."

"I love you too." Hermione replied. Severus entered her gently. She felt the pressure and the pinching sensation. Severus moaned and shook above her. Hermione breathed out. She could tell that Severus wanted to move badly. She was pleasantly surprised that Severus held as much as he could. She moved first. "Bloody fucking hell." He muttered and moved against her. She loved to see Severus tremble and look concentrated. The pain receded for a bit. She smiled when he heard him recite the periodical table. Hermione moved against him again and he swore. "Don't do that." He moaned.

Hermione smiled and kissed him deeply. Severus jerked and came inside her. Hermione felt all powerful. Severus rolled off of her. He kissed her. Severus continued to touch her once again. She came all over his fingers and was surprised when he entered her once more. "Again." Hermione gasped and moaned when he was more sure of himself.

"To be seventeen again." He moaned and thrust in and out of her. Hermione grabbed his hair and contracted around him.

Hermione smiled and rested by him. They had sex twice more before Severus lit up a cigarette. "I hate it when you do that."

Severus blew smoke away from her face. "I missed you." He said and kissed down her breast. "We have to get dinner."

Her husband of forty years, looked at her once more and tickled her. "Once more before we leave. I will need to find a way to sleep in your dorm room." He said playfully.

Hermione let him have his way with her once more before they left to their own dorms. Severus walked her to the Gryffindor Tower's entrance and pushed her against another painting. The Fat Lady scowled at her. "Young lady you have to be more proper with that young man." Hermione smiled and grinned when she saw Lily. The girl ran to her. "Tell me everything." Lily grabbed her and they ran up the stairs. She saw Remus' crestfallen face and Sirius' angry face.
