Octavia and Lincoln rise from their slumber. They quickly get dressed and leaves their room for the dining hall. They see that Clarke, Lexa, Madi, and a boy who is a bit older than Madi eating their meals and in a deep conversation. They take their seats beside Clarke's.
"Welcome, Octavia, and Lincoln. I hope you both slept well." Clarke said smiling at the two that just sat down beside her.
"Hello, Madi and Aden." Octavia greeted the children as she sat down.
"Hi, Tavia!" Madi shouted across the table.
"Madi, no shouting. She's right there." Lexa said finishing her meal looking at her daughter.
"Sorry, Leksa..." Madi went back to her meal.
"And she's ruthless at the table. Clarke your not going to do something." Octavia looked at her friend.
"No, She needs to know table manners especially with guests here." Clarke explained to her friend finishing her meal as well.
"You both are strict." Lincoln said.
"No, we're not. Just wait until we're gone. You're going to have a handful" Lexa eyed Oktevia.
"Well, you both have a miniature Clarke. So I know there is going to be a lot of trouble." Octavia said looking back at Lexa.
"Don't start Okteivia. We're leaving tomorrow and you can deal with children as Indra runs things while we're gone." Lexa said.
"How hard can these two be?" Lincoln asked.
"Pretty hard to keep up with antics. They have guards running circles." Indra mentioned walking into the dining hall.
"Great I'm going to die..." Octavia said.
"I hope so, then we wouldn't have to hear your witty comments anymore." Lexa commented.
"Lexa! Don't be mean!" Clarke yelled at her love.
"What? I'm just speaking the truth." Lexa said looking at Clarke.
"Klark, no yelling. That's bad table manners." Madi said looking at her mothers.
"Ooooo She got you there Clarke." Octavia said.
"Octavia, you should know better not, to butt into family affairs." Clarke glared at her friend.
"Octavia, stop before they turn the dining hall upside down." Lincoln said putting his hand on her thigh.
"They wouldn't though, where will we all eat?" Octavia said looking at Lincoln.
"In your room, where you sleep and other activities with Lincoln here." Clarke mentioned still glaring at her friend.
"Okay, okay, I'll stop." Octavia replied putting her hands up and surrendering.
"Good, let's go. You both will spend a day with us, out in public with the children." Lexa ordered standing up.
"Market? Play?" Aden spoke up looking at Leska.
"Yes, both." Lexa responded with a smile.
"Yes!" Both Madi and Aden said in unison.
They look around in the market, browsing at each stall. Lexa saw a ball at a stall, she bought it and gave it to the children to go play in the field. Her, Clarke, Octavia, Lincoln, and the guards followed the children to the field. Madi and Aden kicked it back and forth to each other for a bit. They looked up to their mothers and smiles. Madi grabs Leska's and Klark's hands and pulls them down to the field. Aden does the same pulling Okteivia and Linkon down to join them. They spend a day on the field playing soccer with children, with laughs across the field. Octavia getting annoyed that her team isn't winning. Team Lexa, Clarke, and Madi are scoring all the goals.
"You three are cheating!" Octavia said leaning over resting hands on her thigh panting.
"They aren't even trying and you're being way too competitive." Aden said patting her shoulder.
"Yes, Octavia, lighten up a bit. Play for fun. Look at both Lexa and Clarke are laughing and giggling. That's something you never have seen before." Lincoln said rubbing her back.
"Your right, I've never seen them smiled and laugh before. This is first for everything." Octavia said watching Lexa and Clarke being a child themselves.
"Octavia, don't be a sore loser. Just have fun. This is something you should enjoy since you have missed out on a lot." Clarke said.
"Same as me Okteivia. I didn't have this much fun as a child either. Live in the moment." Lexa mentioned.
Roan and Echo watched them playing from afar.
"We should join them. It'll be something to distract us for a bit before heading home." Roan said looking at Echo.
"As long I'm on the commander's team. If you were on their team, it'll be overpowered." Echo mentioned.
"Then let us go, join them. Let's have this moment of fun." Roan replied started walking toward them Echo following.
They walk down the hill and the wall of guards stands in front of Roan and Echo, waiting for the order.
"Let them pass." Lexa ordered waiting for them to join them.
"I'm on your team commander!" Echo shouted.
"Prince Roan, over here, the losing team." Octavia shouted out him.
"You're only losing because you trying too hard. Need to let loose sometimes." Roan said watching the other team passing the ball to each other.
They all play soccer together, the guards are just watching like their fans, rooting on their commander as her team keeps scoring goals against the other team for another hour or so. Roan watches them carefully them pass it back and forth, he makes his move steals the ball from Lexa runs down the field. Aden on the across from him, Echo a few feet behind of Aden and Lincoln in trailing behind Roan. Roan passes the ball to Octavia and Octavia passes it forward to Aden. Aden gets the ball fakes out Madi and kicks the ball toward the goal, right pass Clarke.
"We got a goal!" Octavia shouted jumping up and down.
"We got one finally!" Aden shouted running toward Okteivia joining her with the jumping.
"Finally. Now we go back inside and eat." Clarke said wiping sweat off her forehead.
"Don't be a sore loser, Clarke. Your just mad we scored a goal on you." Octavia super stoked.
"I'm not mad. I'm just glad you got a point. Come let's go eat." Clarke patted her shoulder and caught up with Lexa and holds her hand as they walk back to the tower.
"Lexa, we'll see you in the morning?" Roan asked before parting ways.
"Yes, we'll meet you at the stables after we make last-minute arrangements." She looked back at him and Echo responded back.
Prince Roan and Echo walks back to the Azgeda quarters.
Everyone was hungry, they all skipped their lunch meals earlier to play soccer until it was dark. Madi and Aden yawning in their seats after their meal.
"Okay, time for bed you two." Clarke announced.
"No, we're not tired." Madi said with another yawn.
"Go to Madi's room, you two. We'll be there in a bit for a bedtime story." Lexa said standing up.
The children sparked up and ran to their rooms to get ready for bed. Aden rushes out of his room to Madi's and jumps on her bed waiting for Klark and Leska.
"Who are you again?" Octavia asked looking Lexa.
"A commander, Klark's girlfriend and mother of two. You know that." Lexa replied to Okteivia's question.
"It's just abnormal to see this behavior from you." Octavia said.
"Well if we don't go read to them anytime soon. They'll raise hell for us all night and wish to get some sleep." Clarke said standing up and starts to walk out to Madi's room.
"You both should rest. You thought tonight was tiring. Tomorrow starts your new duties for now." Lexa ordered.
Lincoln and Octavia leave the dining hall to their room. Both Lexa and Clarke meets up with the children. Lexa grabbed one of the books off the shelve sits back down on the bed with back against the headboards starts reading the book. Not even a page into the story the children were past out.
"Come on, we need rest." Lexa whispered offering her hand to Clarke.
Clarke takes her hand walking out of the bedroom to theirs. They change into their nightgowns for bed. They get into bed under the furs and fell asleep in each other's arms.
