Visions of multitude of images. Fallen heroes, beaten by a merciless villain, who compares himself far the reach of multiverse itself. Fiery fire spreading quickly. Woods, bricks, all perished like burnt charcoal. A big man who stands above them. Many other visions. Flash disappears into a blue-spiral portal. His friends and family dead. Team Arrow slaughtered by demonic-enhanced devils. Superman facing against a legion of differed versions, closely resembling the Bat. An ominous significance Oliver sees.
These visions woke him up. In the middle of the night. A tedious protract of air fades away as the latter laboriously exhales.
"What the fuck was that?", Oliver asks himself. His voice stirs Kara from the brink.
"Oliver?". Kara strives her hand softly on his arm. "What happened?".
Oliver scrubs his face with his hands. "These visions. Ones I told you about?". Kara nodded, understanding on Oliver's directing his thoughts on. "They're becoming more real, like I experienced it before". Oliver revealed his contemplate in thoughts over driven nightmares over a dozen times to Kara. "I don't remember experiencing any of that". If there's one person Oliver can trust with his problem in mentalities, it's Barry Allen.
Sun relaxes in top-air.
Oliver enters a secret cave, he built, in an abandoned warehouse. Master-of-Archers switches a button, light of agents spread their spiritual molecules across the darkness. Revealing various menus Oliver pardons himself with. Former had told Kara that he's departing to Central City, luckily the Girl of Steel has the entitlement of being Oliver's caretaker to a city hours from theirs. To plan two objectives. Use S.T.A.R. Labs' source to fixate in what dreams Oliver's discerning upon. And to learn a few things from Barry's perspective of being a vigilante.
Oliver draws his dark-pale-green shade of hood from displayed coat hangers. Pitched enough to cover himself into the shadows like a Bat. He wore black pants, which suits really well for his take in the darkness. He takes his bow and quiver, stored with arrows, to complete his outfit as a broken Arrow.
Kara pops in blur to Oliver's field.
"Ready?", Kara asked, regarding Oliver's acceptance of permission.
Oliver turns his head to face her. "I'm ready". Quiver attached at his back. Bow lifted by a hand.
Kara tempos her speed, bridging herself and Oliver out of his place, leaving National City in the process.
Central City
S.T.A.R. Labs
Barry Allen and Iris West have an argument in S.T.A.R. Labs. Iris has been engaging with the Speedster for months, attempting multiple times to convince him, which he befalls, to re-state Team Flash back in presence. Barry's full-concern stars in the safety of his loved ones.
"You can't keep working like this Barry", said Iris. "It's getting you more delirious".
Barry, in Flash suit, cowl unmasked, faces his back on Iris. "Iris I don't have time for this".
"Gosh Barry. You of all people can't outrun under this pressure. It's going to get you killed!", Iris explains.
Barry rotates his body with great human agility. "I don't need a team to fixate my problems. After all, I'm pretty certain Joe told you about what that Harrison-phony could've done to you had he ever established in his ongoing forth", reminded the unmasked Flash.
Vague of air imposes its height down. Iris has no declaration in producing a word to throw him off guard, into actually leaning in his cooperation amongst friends and family. Lady re-sculptures her face in calm implantation. "I know you're hurt given what Reverse Flash did-".
"Don't!", Barry yells. A distant sound firms in longer distances, scaring Iris, and fearing Barry himself. Latter turns his body back on her. "Iris. Just leave". Iris wanted to talk some sense in him. But the way she's going forward with, could destroy an inner influence within him. So she walks away, giving him his space.
Barry, in his end, lowers his head, magnetising his hands on a near desk in the big rooms. Unbeknown to him, a certain figure stood dozens of thousands of metres away.
"It still hurts doesn't it". A known voice alerts Barry.
"I thought I would be left alone, Oliver", said Barry.
"I used to consign it the same way. But as time went, I soon realised I needed a team. But that broke after a recent invade in Starling City. Now known as Star City", Oliver explained. He walks forward, leisurely closing the distance between them. Barry spears his eyes on Oliver. "I had a darkness, Barry. I never wanted to bring it upon you. The pain, rage, distress. It's all apart of being a hero". His confession was hesitant but he decoded it.
"Never asked for your permission. I chose to be a hero in my own books", Barry shot back. Although he never knew how much destruction it would house a shaft inside, when encountering something that will break him. He once came to Oliver for an advice, pardoning a tutorial for him to choose his ways.
"That I understand. But you gotta remember this. Pain will always be a recurring theme in life. Central City may not be deposit its chaotic methods. It's still counts as something that will throw a hero's sight in the abyss", Oliver explained. "I was once told of a vigilante from another world that disappeared from his city months ago. I didn't catch the exact details, but it was enough to sum up my view that he fell into an a depth of circumstance". This line repetitively triangulates Barry's head in imaging these thoughts. "Don't throw your life away, Barry. Like I did. Find it within you to tackle it". Barry seeps his words in his brain. To not distinguish the same life Oliver haunted in.
