You Can Leave Your Hat On-Ch 32
JJ looked up at her long time friend and OB Holly and said, "well don't keep us waiting what did you find out"?, Holly pulled up a chair and sat down in front of the two very nervous blondes. She looked at them and said, "congratulations ladies, it seems that you are both indeed pregnant".
Penelope said, "p p pregnant, we're really pregnant"?, Holly said, "yes Penelope" she then opened Penelopes chart and said, "according to your blood work you are around 10 weeks along". She then opened JJ's chart and said, "and you my friend are around 12 to 13 weeks along".
JJ smiled and said, "I can't wait to tell Spence, he's going to be so excited", Holly said, "awwww yes and how is married life treating you and Spencer"?, JJ said, "it's great, I can't imagine my life without him". Holly looked at Penelope and said, "I see that you are engaged Penelope, congratulations".
Penelope said, "thank you Holly, he's an amazing man, he's the love of my life", JJ said, "they make such a cute couple, not as cute as me and Spence but they are close" causing all three women to start laughing. Holly handed them both a prescription for prenatal vitamins and said, "alright ladies, I have you scheduled to come back in about 3 to 4 weeks and we'll get you set up with ultrasounds".
Holly then handed them their appointment cards and stood up, both girls stood up and hugged Holly and thanked her for fitting them both in so fast. She smiled and said, "not a problem and ladies, congratulations again, you're both going to make amazing mommies" and both blondes smiled and said, "thank you", Holly nodded her head and said, "see you in about a month" and JJ said, "see you then" as she looped her arm through Penelopes and they made their way out of the office.
As they walked to their car JJ said, "how are we going to tell Derek and Spence about the babies"?, Penelope grinned and said, "I think a couple of gifts are in order". JJ said, "gifts, what kind of gifts are you talking about Garcie"?, Penelope leaned in and whispered something into her ear and JJ smiled and said, "I love that idea and I can't wait to see the look on their faces when they open them".
Penelope laughed and said, "me either Jayje, me either" as they then both climbed into JJs car and pulled out of the large parking lot and headed for the main road. Meanwhile back at Dereks place he kept looking around wondering where Penelpoe and JJ were and when they were going to get back.
Reid said, "I wonder where the girls are"?, Derek said, "I don't know but ma said that they should be back any time", Reid sighed and said ,"sooooooooo since your bride-to-be isn't here, let's talk about your honeymoon". Derek said, "I've got it all planned, we're going to spend it in Hawaii".
Reid said, "wow, Penelpoe will love that", their conversation stopped when Penelope and JJ walked into the room and Penelope said, "what will I love"?, Derek kissed her lips gently and said, "me forever". Penelope said, "well duh hotstuff, that's a given isn't it, once we get married, you'll be stuck with me forever and ever".
Derek said, "and I can't wait", Reid grinned and said "awwww, young love isn't it wonderful", JJ plopped down beside him and said, "yep it sure is Spence". Both girls looked at each other and grinned as they placed the boxes in Derek and Reids laps, both men looked at them and Derek said, "what's this"?, Penelope said, "well an easy way to see what's in the box is to open it up".
What Derek and Reid didn't know was that the others had entered the room and were watching the men as they started tearing open the small boxes. Fran grinned as she watched Reid and Derek pull out the object in their boxes, Reid looked up at JJ and said, "I can't wait to meet you daddy".
He then said, "does this mean, oh JJ are you"?, she threw her arms around him and said, "it does and I am, we're pregnant". Derek then pulled out a small silver spoon and said, "what's this for"?, Penelope said, "what does the spoon say"?, Derek said, "it says, I'll see you in about 7 months daddy".
Penelope said, "I know that we hadn't discussed kids yet but" and he threw his arms around her and said, "you have made me the happiest man in the entire world". Tears streamed down her face and she said, "I love you", he pulled back and said, "I love you too" and then he pulled in for a passionate kiss.
It was only a matter of a few seconds before the room was filled with the sounds of congratulations as the happy couples celebrated the news of the two newest additions to their growing family.
