Hi everyone! I'm glad you all like my other story, so please continue to read it along with this! This story will end soon, and there will not be a sequel to it. But anyways, last chapter showed the Ishtar family obtaining the orange snake gem, and our favorite Puzzle couple has found the red snake gem. 3 gems found, 4 more to go. Lets see who will find the rest of the gems next. Keep on reading and enjoy!

"This snake reminds me of Diabound."

"If it had blue eyes, it would've looked like Nagini."

"Is it rare to find a white snake with blue eyes?"

"Yes it is. Anyone would pay the highest amount of money to get their hands on a rare snake like her. Be lucky she's now in the afterlife with the other snakes. She wouldn't be safe here."

Ryou's lips stretched into a thin line, and nodded. "True. I've seen snakes with red eyes or dark beady eyes, but not a snake with blue eyes."

"Or a purple snake. They too are rare," Bakura added.

Ryou stared at the glass cage, wielding an albino corn snake who is staring at him. Since his darker half is getting tired of staying inside the house for too long, Ryou thought they can visit a place they might enjoy. Luckily, the zoo is close by and they have a reptile exhibit where they can see the snakes.

"I like this one. Its huge, strong, and muscular," Bakura looked at a long, yellow snake resting in its nest.

Ryou glanced at the sign. "It's a yellow Burmese python. They can easily strangle you, and they're heavy due to their strong muscles."

"Interesting. Maybe this one can join my army."

"Army?"

"I plan on having an army of powerful snakes by my side."

"Why?"

"So I can face against the cobra goddess and the other snake deities so they will recognize me as a potential candidate in becoming a powerful snake deity."

"You want to be a snake deity?"

Bakura grinned evilly. "But of course. They are very powerful, and I can make the pharaoh and assassin jealous of my rank."

Ryou sweat-dropped. "Bakura, you're a bandit king. I'm pretty sure it's a high rank."

"Not close enough to the pharaoh, yadonushi. I still need to make it to the top."

"By having an army of powerful snakes by your side?"

"Exactly. No one will dare cross me since they'll be keeping me safe."

He cackled evilly, which made the other snakes look at him funny. Luckily, there was no one else in the reptile exhibit or they would've run away in terror. Ryou shook his head, and led him over to the other snakes. As they got done seeing them, they exited the exhibit and went somewhere else.

"Bakura, it will be tough creating an army."

"How so?"

"First of all, where will they stay?"

"At our home, duh!"

"The neighbors will know, and I don't want us to get kicked out of the apartment."

"Then we'll find a different place."

"We'll focus on your army for another time. Right now, we should enjoy the zoo and forget about our worries."

"You mean see the giant green snake causing mayhem here?"

"Huh?"

Bakura pointed at something, making Ryou turn his head and his eyes widened in disbelief. On top of the food stand is a giant green cobra snake with a yellow underbelly, piercing red eyes, sharp fangs, and a mouth at the end of its tail. There was a blue orb attached to its tail, and stored inside the orb is crackles of electricity.

The snake let out a huge hiss, terrifying the guests and caused everyone to run away from it. Then, the blue orb started to glow, causing lightning strikes to escape from it and hit some of the people, paralyzing them so they wouldn't move. It then saw Ryou and Bakura, flicking out its forked tongue while glaring at them.

Ryou trembled, and held onto Bakura's arm. "W-What kind of snake is that!?"

"That's not an ordinary snake. It's a Ka monster," Bakura frowned. "If it's a Ka monster, that means we stumbled upon a snake jewel."

"Y-You mean its guarding a snake gem!?"

"It is," Bakura activated his duel disk. "Get your duel disk out, yadonushi. We're dueling that creature."

Ryou gulped, but nodded his head as he summoned his own disk. Getting his deck out and looking through, he pulled a card out and placed it on the slot. "I summon Lady of Faith!"

"Headless Knight, rise from the grave!"

Both monsters appeared on the field in their stance, causing the monster snake to slither off the roof and onto the ground, facing them directly while shaking its tail. Ryou looked around, sighing in relief that there's no one here. However, they need to save the victims who got hit with paralysis by the snake.

Bakura brought his hand out. "Headless Knight, attack with your sword of treachery!"

"Lady of Faith! Stop that monster with your enchanted spell!"

Their monsters launched their attacks at the snake, which made the snake fight back. However, the snake got struck by both attacks and got destroyed, disintegrating into particles. This caused the whole area to fix itself, going back to the way it was before and the people who were paralyzed can now move again.

They cheered and thanked the boys, causing Ryou to blush while Bakura scoffed. He then saw something twinkling on the ground, and he strolled over to it. Getting a closer look, his eyes widened and he got down on one knee to glance at its shiny surface.

Ryou jogged over and saw what he was looking at, surprising him as he crouched down next to him. "Is this the green snake gem?"

"It is. First the silver snake gem, then the red snake gem the pharaoh and his shrimp discovered the other day, and now we have found the green snake gem."

"Malik called this morning and told me that he and his family had found the orange snake gem in the pyramids."

"Which makes it a total of 4. We have 3 more snake jewels to find."

"Once we find them all, we'll return them back home," Ryou carefully picked up the green snake gem and cradled it in his arms. "Hi there. Do you wish to be reunited with your siblings?"

The baby snake inside the green gem flicked its tongue while looking at him, and Ryou smiled at it as he caressed the gem. "Do not be afraid, little snake. You can trust us. We are descendants of the snake prince Riyu and the bandit king Akefia. We're gonna help you and your siblings get back home."

Bakura chuckled at Ryou's gentle personality, but then looked around and frowned. Everyone had left, and he doesn't see anyone spying on them. Removing his black coat, he placed it around Ryou and zipped it so he would be covered. "Lets go home now, yadonushi. No one must see the green snake gem or your ability to touch them."

Ryou blushed at Bakura placing his coat around him, but nodded as he kept the gem hidden in the jacket and they left the zoo together. Once they get home, Ryou will contact the others that the green snake gem had been found, and they need to find the yellow, blue, and purple snake gems next.

"I use the spell card Dark Burning Magic! If I control a Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl on my field, I get to destroy all cards on the field my opponent controls!"

Seto's eyes widened, as his Blue Eyes White Dragon got destroyed along with his Krystal Dragon. With no monster or trap on the field, he's wide open. He cursed at himself for being too overly confident.

Yami brought his hand out. "Go Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl! Dark Magic Attack and Dark Burning Attack!"

Both magicians launched their attacks at Seto, who cried out in pain as he fell onto his knees when his life points decreased to 0. Indicating that his opponent won the duel, the arena changed into its normal setting. Cursing at another failed attempt to beat the King of Games, Kaiba rose up from the ground and glared at his opponent.

"At least you did not slack off from dueling. You caught me off guard with your surprise attack," Seto folded his arms. "But next time, we will have another duel and I won't stop until I defeat you once and for all."

Yami gave him a firm nod. "I look forward to it, Kaiba."

Seto accepted his answer, and turned his head to see his pup and Yugi approaching them. He noticed Muto hugging the pharaoh, while his pup patted his back and gave him a thumbs up.

"You did great out there, you two! You almost had him, Kaiba!" Joey replied. "Are you satisfied you got your duel with Yami?"

"Thank you, and I'm not satisfied yet. I won't stop until I am able to defeat him in a duel."

"Remember not to go too crazy. Your health is important, and I gotta make sure you're eating well."

"I'm following the instructions you and Mokuba gave me. Roland is my witness, so you can ask him and he can confirm everything for you."

"Good. If you dare skip, then you're in big trouble," Joey poked his chest. "You really don't want to get a scolding from us."

Kaiba snorted, and pulled him onto his chest. "I'm used to Mokuba's scolding, but I don't mind you scolding me. It makes me happy."

Joey looked at him in disbelief. "Are you sure you don't need a therapist!?"

"I am perfectly sane, mutt."

"What did I say about calling me dog names!?"

"You are my beloved puppy, and I'm allowed to give you those pet names."

"If you won't stop calling me mutt, then I'll call you a beast!"

"How about dragon?"

"Not gonna happen!"

Yugi shook his head as they continued to squabble, and glanced over at his darker half. "Mou hitori no boku, congratulations on your win against Kaiba."

Yami smiled, and hugged him. "Thank you, aibou. He was a tough opponent to beat." He looked up to glance at Kaiba. "Though he should remember that you're the King of Games, not me. You were able to defeat me, so the title has been passed down to you."

"Kaiba is too stubborn to admit it, and prefers dueling you since you're his rival. Plus, we're both sharing the title. You have a strong deck, and a lot of people have trouble defeating you."

"True, but your deck is also strong. Your ace Gandora has a very unique skill."

"Thank you. Your ace Slifer is also very strong."

Yami glanced at his deck. "I am surprised that I can keep Slifer while Kaiba keeps Obelisk and Mariku keeps Ra."

"Its possible due to your revival, they came back to help you."

"You're right about that. They helped me save you from Goddess Wadjet, and made sure Nehebkau would never target us again."

Yugi leaned against him, and hugged his arm. "I'm grateful to them, and the gods for letting you stay here with me." A serene smile appeared on his face. "I'm also happy mom accepted you into our family."

Yami chuckled, and gazed at his adorable aibou. "I do not know if its me thanking her for giving you life, or complimenting her for raising you to be a kind, sweet, and caring angel. I should be lucky to have you in my life again."

As they leaned in to kiss, someone loudly cleared their throat. Yugi blushed and pulled away, forgetting they were still in the arena. Yami huffed and glared at Seto. "You do realize it's rude to interrupt a beautiful moment like that, right?"

Kaiba rolled his eyes. "I don't care what you do, but not in front of me. Do your moments somewhere in private."

"Or we can go back inside the mansion and have a snack to celebrate the two of you dueling again," Joey suggested.

"Good idea. However, the snack cannot be fish-related. It makes Yami queasy," Yugi added.

"The great and powerful pharaoh gets sick over fish?" Seto chuckled. "Hilarious."

Yami glared ferociously at him. "Not everyone is perfect, Kaiba!"

Joey placed his hands up. "Easy, you two. Remember, we're here to have fun and not worry about anything."

Yugi nodded. "Plus, I'm happy I don't have to wear that female disguise anymore. I felt uncomfortable wearing a short skirt."

"Be glad they didn't make you wear a dress."

"Please don't give Mai or Tea any ideas!"

"Oh relax! They're not even here!"

"L-Lets just go back inside now."

"I'm on it!"

They left the arena and went back inside the Kaiba mansion, where they found Mokuba munching on some cookies in the kitchen. He saw them and waved. "Hey guys! How was the duel?"

Seto frowned and folded his arms over his chest. "Mokuba, remember not to spoil your dinner. Eating too many cookies will give you a stomachache."

Mokuba wiped his mouth with a napkin. "Don't worry, big brother. I'm on my 3rd cookie, and then I'll drink some milk."

"Good. Also, why did you not come to see me duel?"

"Had to work on something. And yes, its school related."

"Alright then."

As they all sat down at the table and served some snacks and drinks, which they were all safe to eat and have no fish in it, the gang began their conversation.

"Hey Yuge, is gramps okay with the snake gems staying at your house?" Joey asked.

"To tell you the truth, he was fascinated at seeing both the silver and red snake gems. He even called the baby snakes adorable, which made them very happy," Yugi smiled at the memory. "They kinda remind me of Kuriboh and Marshmallon."

"The snake jewels also saw Yugi and me as their parental figures," Yami added.

Kaiba snorted. "You a parent? Don't make me laugh."

"So the snake gems see you and Yugi as their parents? I think its sweet," Mokuba commented.

Joey snickered. "So who's the mama and who's the papa?"

Yugi quickly covered Yami's mouth so he wouldn't answer. "Skipping the question, why don't we discuss about mine and Ryou's disguises. We don't want to disguise as females again, so how about you tell Mai and Tea to give us different clothing so we wouldn't get recognized."

"Good luck convincing them. They're the experts on fashion, not me."

"I will not wear a skirt again."

"It can't be that bad."

"Nor will I wear makeup again."

"Wait! They actually painted your face!?"

"Yes, and my face felt heavy."

Yugi removed his hand from Yami's mouth to continue his conversation with Joey. Meanwhile, Seto and Yami decided to converse with one another while sipping their drinks, and Mokuba continued to eat his cookies.

"So the gem is revealed when a Ka monster is unleashed? Is that what happened to you and Muto?" Seto summarized.

"That's correct," Yami replied. "At the Floral Gardens, a Ka monster that resembled a magician caused havoc there, so we dueled it. After it got defeated, the red snake gem revealed itself. Luckily, it didn't burn Yugi when he picked it up, and it still remembered me when I was a pharaoh 5,000 years ago."

"Again with the Egyptian hocus pocus? How long will this last?"

"Until we find all the snake gems and return them back home. Then all the hocus pocus you mentioned will no longer appear, and everything will return back to normal again."

"For now. If it comes back again, I'm blaming you and the other two psychos."

"Fair enough. I'm just happy to be reunited with my aibou and friends."

"I'm happy that I get to duel you again. Like I said before, I won't stop until I am able to defeat you once and for all."

"Be patient, Kaiba. I'm adjusting to the land of the living, so I need to make sure I can handle having a body on this Earth."

"You're fine, pharaoh. You faced off against two deities, and you're still alive."

Yami frowned, and swirled his drink with a straw. "You've forgotten I almost died when Nehebkau captured us."

Sensing the atmosphere is getting tense; Kaiba whispered something to Mokuba, who nodded and asked Joey and Yugi to come help him with something. Confused on what he needed, they agreed after he pleaded and told their lovers they will be back soon. Hugging them, the boys left with Mokuba while Seto and Yami continued to sit at the table.

Seto gestured him to continue. "You mentioned you almost died because of that snake god known as Nehebkau?"

Yami nodded. "Its true. He planned to extract my most powerful Ka monster from me, but did not succeeded. Instead, he wanted to use me as bait to lure in my partner so he could strike, and then dispose of me once he gets Yugi's powerful Ka monster." He clenched his fists tightly, as his eyebrows furrowed in anger at the memory. "Yugi's voice saved me from dying. His light rescued me from the darkness, and it helped awakened me. If it wasn't for him, I would've died for real and become a spirit again."

He gazed at his hands. "I must make sure it never happens again. I have to get stronger both physically and mentally. The thought of dying again frightens me, but I'm more scared of not seeing Yugi again. I don't want him to shed tears over me. It hurts me to see him in pain."

Kaiba saw how serious he is, and remained silent. He too remembered their encounter with Nehebkau, and how they almost died at the temple. They would've been goners if it weren't for Yugi and the other two, along with their duel monsters. He stopped himself from scowling since he realized that they saved their lives, and he is a little grateful due to his promise in coming back safe and alive to Mokuba.

Shaking his head at the memory, he glanced back at his rival. "You're no longer a spirit, pharaoh. You have your own human body, and you will use your head more to prevent yourself from dying again."

"I know, but I'm still frightened over the prospect of dying again. Its thanks to the Millennium Puzzle that I didn't get swallowed by the darkness."

"The Millennium Puzzle? That can't be right. It disappeared along with the Ring and Rod."

Yami gazed at his glass. "When I was almost drowning in the darkness, I heard Yugi's voice calling out for me. I tried to cry out for him, but my voice wouldn't make a sound. It felt like I was drowning, and something is preventing me from making a noise." His grip on his cup tightened. "Then, I saw a light coming towards me. I thought it could be Yugi, but it was actually the puzzle. The Millennium Puzzle appeared and got rid of the darkness. When I was able to move again, I felt it land onto my hands, and everything became a blur after that."

Seto arched his eyebrow. "It seems to me both the Puzzle and Yugi Muto saved you from death. When you defeated the god of the underworld, you became very protective of Yugi. You wouldn't stop calling him your akhu."

"I was yearning for him. My shadow powers needed his light, in order to sustain a balance between us. I desired my aibou's warmth, his kindness, his soul, and his beautiful light. Without him, I am nothing but an empty shell of my former self. Yugi is the reason why I feel human again."

"Then there's nothing to be afraid of. You two are always together, and you keep each other safe from danger. Just get stronger through dueling. That's how I see you as my worthy opponent and rival."

"I believe that's different, Kaiba. I'm trying to keep myself and Yugi from getting into danger."

"We're already in danger thanks to this Egyptian hocus pocus. This time, I'm blaming Yugi and the other two along with their ancestors for being related to an ancient Egyptian snake goddess."

"Its thanks to that we are able to learn about Goddess Wadjet, along with how Heba and his brothers are directly related to Yugi, Ryou, and Malik. I even got all of my memories back, and how I first met Heba."

Yami frowned, as anger flashed in his crimson eyes. "I still can't forgive myself for watching Heba die right in front of me. I will not let that happen to Yugi. This time, I'll be the one protecting him from enemies who want to take our lives. I'll get stronger and make sure Yugi has a happy life."

Seto sipped on his drink. "Then don't do anything idiotic. I had to constantly remind the mutt that he doesn't have to protect me all the time, but he's way too stubborn to listen."

"Which reminds me, what made you gain these new feelings for Joey? I realized you're starting to be a little possessive of him."

"Says the one who glared at a little girl for hugging your partner and calling him darling."

"Lets not change the subject, Kaiba. I'd like to know what made you see Joey as more than a friend?"

"Another time. I won't talk about it."

"The next time we duel then?"

"I don't accept bribes."

Yami chuckled, and sipped on his juice while Seto continued to drink his tea. As they enjoyed their quiet time, they heard shouting and loud footsteps running towards them.

"Seto! There's been a report of a duel monster attacking Kaiba Land!" Mokuba shouted. "We gotta hurry! They say this monster resembles the Dark Magician!"

"What!?" Yami shot up from his seat. "Did you say Dark Magician!?"

Kaiba got up and looked at Roland. "Prepare the helicopter immediately! Take us to Kaiba Land at once!"

"Sir!" Roland bowed and quickly ran to do what he says.

Joey pulled the hoodie over Yugi's head, covering his hair. "Don't forget to hide your face so no one would know what you look like, buddy. Can't let anyone know that you can touch the snake jewels."

"I know, but the hoodie is a whole lot better than wearing the other outfit," Yugi sighed.

"It wasn't that bad."

"It still was!"

Tea gulped, as the monster managed to destroy Tristan's Swamp Battleguard in one hit. She pointed her finger at the monster. "Ancient Elf! Attack that monster quick!"

Ancient Elf launched a spell at the duel monster, but it deflected it and launched its own spell at Ancient Elf, causing it to get destroyed into particles. Tea took a step back, as Tristan started to back up.

"This is not good," Tristan looked around. "Where are Yugi and the others when you need them?"

"They'll be here. They must've heard about what happened and are on their way immediately!" Tea proclaimed.

Suddenly, the duel monster prepared to launch another attack, causing Tea and Tristan to either fight with another monster or run. Luckily, they didn't have to as they saw something hit the ground in front of them, causing them and the monster to jump back in surprise.

"Tea! Tristan!"

"We got your back!"

Tea looked up, as a huge smile appeared on her face. "Yugi! Joey!"

Tristan waved at them. "Its about time!"

Yugi is carried by Silent Magician in her level 8 form, while Joey rode on the back of his Red Eyes Black Dragon. They floated down from the sky and landed on the ground, as they both jumped off their monsters. Soon, they heard a loud roar and they looked up to see Yami coming down with Dark Magician while Kaiba and Mokuba rode on the back of the Blue Eyes White Dragon.

As everyone got on the ground and looked at the monster, Yami looked at its features and his eyes widened in astonishment. "Hold on… I know this monster."

Seto scowled. "Sorcerer of Dark Magic. Because of its effect, it destroyed my Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon. I never thought I would see that monster again."

Yugi studied its appearance. "This must be the purple snake gem. But how did it end up here in Kaiba Land?"

"Lets talk about it later. Right now, we gotta stop it before it wrecks this amusement park," Tristan added.

"I'll go evacuate everyone immediately. Be careful, you guys," Mokuba quickly left.

"The Sorcerer of Dark Magic already took out Swamp Battleguard and Ancient Elf. This one is really strong," Tea said.

"Then lets take it down together with all of our monsters!" Joey suggested. "Go Red Eyes Black Dragon! Inferno Fire Blast!"

Red Eyes roared and launched its attack at Sorcerer of Dark Magic, causing the monster to launch its own attack and destroy the Inferno Fire Blast attack. Seto scoffed and brought his hand out. "Blue Eyes White Dragon, attack! White Lightning!"

"Go Dark Magician! Dark Magic Attack!"

"Silent Magician, attack! Silent Burning Attack!"

All the monsters launched their attacks at the Sorcerer of Dark Magic, who dodged them easily and tried to attack them in surprise. Dark Magician stopped its attack with his staff, causing both their staffs to clash. Distracted, Silent Magician launched her attack at The Sorcerer of Dark Magic, who tried to stop it but couldn't as the attack got it and The Sorcerer of Dark Magic disintegrated into particles. As the monsters went back to their owners and vanished into their cards, Kaiba Land is engulfed in a purple light, fixing itself up back to the way it was and everyone who got injured had been healed.

Soon, the light faded away and on the spot where The Sorcerer of Dark Magic once was is a purple jewel resting on the ground, twinkling from the sun's light. Yugi deactivated his duel disk and ran over to it, carefully scooping the gem in his arms and cradling it.

The others jogged over to him, and Tea got a good look at the purple snake gem. "Its just like the silver snake gem at the museum. I can see a baby snake in there."

"There's no way something that small can summon a powerful monster like The Sorcerer of Dark Magic," Kaiba scowled. "There must be a mistake."

"Hate to say it, but it's not a mistake. That snake jewel did summon a powerful monster," Joey grinned. "Don't underestimate something that small. They won't hesitate to bite back."

"Agreed," Tristan replied.

Yami looked at the purple snake gem, and smiled at the sight of Yugi cradling the gem protectively in his arms. "Is the gem okay?"

Yugi nodded. "This one felt really scared when it somehow got here. Because of how noisy and crowded it was, that's why the gem summoned The Sorcerer of Dark Magic." He hid the gem in his jacket. "I believe all the gems are summoning those duel monsters to protect themselves from people. All they want is to go home."

Tea tilted her head after studying Yugi's appearance. "Since when did you become so protective of them? And also, what happened to your disguise?"

Yugi paled, noticing that she's giving him the 'tell me the truth or else' look. "T-The outfit got dirty so it's in the laundry! J-Joey suggested I wear this hoodie to hide my face so no one would know I could touch the gems. Also, I do not know why I'm so protective of them, but it could be due to inheriting Goddess Wadjet's snake blood, and she is a mother goddess who loves children. Plus, my ancestor was also very protective of them so maybe that's why."

Tea frowned, folding her arms as she continued to stare at him. "Alright, I believe you… for now."

Joey and Tristan backed away, seeing Tea still frowning and knew it was not a good idea to say anything. Kaiba is busy talking to Mokuba and ignoring the situation, since his brother managed to came back and inform him that everyone in Kaiba Land had evacuated. As for Yami, he could feel his legs trembling at seeing Tea's stare. Now he's glad she isn't glaring at him, since he isn't ready to handle a female's wrath. Thank goodness his mother taught him on what he needed to know for interacting with the opposite gender. If there's one thing his mother would constantly remind him, you must never anger a female, especially if she's your friend, mother, or relative.

As for Yugi, he chose to hide his face onto Yami's chest, since its impossible to escape from Tea. She is a kind friend, but he also knows not to anger her. He turned his head to glance at her. "S-Since everyone is okay, how about we all get some ice cream together?"

Joey raised his hand. "Tristan and I are in!"

"Agreed!" Tristan nodded.

Tea arched her eyebrow. "Ice cream does sound nice. But that doesn't mean you can stall, Yugi."

Yugi flinched. "I-I promise to wear the female disguise next time we go out to find the remaining snake gems."

Tea beamed. "Good. Because it took me and Mai forever to find the right outfit and makeup for you."

Yami rubbed his back in a comforting manner, and then glanced at Tea. "May I ask, is he allowed to keep his disguise?"

"Mou hitori no boku!"

"Do you have another outfit that's in both purple and black? The colors suit him well."

"Don't even think about it, Yami!"
