Its been a month since Molly has gotten back to her old self and everything is back to normal again. I am currently saddling my horse, Skyler getting ready for training for big race tryouts to go onto the state finals race.

after I got ready I noticed my Aunt Zoey, who was walking into the barn. "Aunt Zoey!" I said happily. "hey Lana" Aunt Zoey said. everyone was happy to see Zoey again. Aunt Zoey was out sick for the past few days. she had a high fever,

so she had to stay home to get better. Aunt Zoey walked up to Pepper. "aww I missed you Pepper" Aunt Zoey said as Pepper nuzzled her happily. "I can't wait to get this saddle on you and go for a ride!" Aunt Zoey said happily.

when Aunt Zoey saddled Pepper she noticed that Pepper gaind a few pounds. "woah Pepper, looks like you gaind a few pounds" Aunt Zoey said.

then Aunt Zoey turned to look at Aunt Chloe. "I thought I could count on you sis. you were supposed to make sure that Pepper got her good amount of,

exersise that she needs" Aunt Zoey said. "I'm sorry Zoe, there just wasn't enough time to take care of two horses and get ready for the race"

Aunt Chloe said. Aunt Chloe walked away sadly. I then suddnly had a feeling that I gained a few punds because during the drought,

I did nothing but sit in my bed. I ran to the house quickly and got on the weigh scale. when I stepped on the scale I prayed that I didn't gain weight.

when I opened my eyes, I saw that I gained a few pounds. I sighed sadly and got off the scale. "what's wrong Lana?" A voice said.

I turned around to see my mom Uru, Nala, and my brother Mufasa who was standing in front of me. "you seem down Lana.

is everything okay?" Mufasa said with worry. "Nothing is wrong Mufasa, I am fine" I said. "I know something is wrong Lana" Mufasa said.

"you know you can tell us" Uru said. I sighed and took a deep breath. "I gained a few pounds" I said. everyone looked at me,

with concern. "so, there is nothing wrong with gaining a few pounds" Nala said. "but I need to be in shape for the tryouts next week.

I have to be ready" I said. "don't push yourself, sweetie. you don't need to lose a few pounds" Uru said. "yeah I am sure you will be,

ready for the tryouts" Nala said. "but I don't want Scar to think that I am fat just because of this added weight" I said.

"don't worry Lana, I am sure Scar won't notice that you have gained a few pounds" Mufasa said. "okay, I hope your right" I said. "yeah. let's go to the arena for jumping practice. the girls are wondering where you are" Uru said.

"Okay mom" I said. "let's go" Nala said. we then walked out of the house and walked to the arena. when we got to the arena I got on my horse and I waited my turn. when Pepper was jumping she knocked down a few jumps. I noticed that,

my parents were laughing at her because she has gained a few pounds. "I hope Pepper doesn't knock down a few rails" Calypso said jokingly. I felt uncomfortable as my parents were laughing at Pepper. when Pepper and Zoey walked out,

of the arena it was my turn to go. I walked to the first jump. somehow my parents noticed that I gained a few pounds too and they were laughing at me.

I tried to ignore them and jumped over the first jump. I had a hard time keeping balance on my horse. I heard my parents who were,

making jokes about me. "I bet she won't be able to stay on" Chili said. my parents laughed with him. I grumbled in anger and stormed out,

of the arena. "wait Lana, you haven't finished the course yet" Sarah said. "you guys do it without me, I am not finishing it!" I snapped.

with that I walked to my room and slammed the door behind me. 'I have to lose these pounds' I thought. after a while,

we practiced the tryout course. we were lined up at the starting line. "ready... three, two, one, go!" Sarah said. we then started the race.

as we were galloping, we came across a lake that we had to jump. Pepper and I stopped when we came across the lake.

"come on Pepper, Lana you can do it" Sunburst said. "we can't do it Papa" I said. "sure you can, you guys have done this jump,

one hundred times" Scarlett said. "but we can't" Pepper said. "I bet she they can float over it" Calypso said jokingly. everyone laughed.

"come on Pepper your embarrassing me" Aunt Zoey said. then we all attempted to do the jump. Aunt Zoey closed her eyes,

and pretended that she was flying. as we were halfway across the jump we fell into the jump. "Pepper, ugh!" Aunt Zoey said angrily. everyone was laughing. its been a few hours now and it is nighttime. it was time for dinner so I was,

walking into the house when my husband Scar stopped me. "where do you think you're going Lana?" Scar said. "I am going to get dinner Scar" I said. "no your not, not after your performance during the tryouts today" Scar said.

"but Scar I..." Scar cut me off. "NO LANA! YOU WILL NOT EAT TODAY! DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?!" Scar roared angrily. I whimpered for being yelled at. "yes Scar" I said. "good, now were going to bed" Scar said. Scar then picked me up by the scruff of my neck,

and carried me to my room. when we got to my room he sat me down and I got in bed. Scar then got in bed along with me.

"goodnight Lana" Scar said as he kissed me. he then fell asleep. as Scar was sleeping, I was thinking about how to lose these pounds fast.

I then thought of an idea. I was not going to eat until I made sure that I lost my pounds. after a while, I fell asleep.

its the next day I was hanging out into the paddock with my Mommy Pepper. Sunburst walked up to us and noticed that Pepper wasn't eating.

"what's wrong Pepper. your not eating. and this is some really tasty grass" Sunburst said. "yeah this is tasty" Pepper said,

as she pretended to eat. "no, I am not going to do it! I need to do something to take my mind off of food!" Pepper said.

Pepper then had an idea. "hey how about a few laps around the arena" Pepper said. "can I run with you Mommy?" I said. "sure Lana" Pepper said.

"exercise is good, but you need to get enough food and rest for your body to be in shape" Sunburst said. "Sunburst is right Pepper and Lana" Scarlett said. "if no one want's to run with us we will run by ourselves" Pepper said.

Pepper and I then were running around the arena. its been a few days and Pepper and I were still running around in the arena. my parents and my family were surprised at us. "woah, who took the Pepper and Lana we knew and replaced them with these ones" Calypso said.

"They will come around if we encourage them instead of teasing them" Scarlett said. then my parents and my family blocked our way. "Pepper, Lana stop. we need to talk" Scarlett said. "out of our way... we are trying... to exercise" I said in between breaths.

sweat was running down my face. "no Lana, we need to talk" Mufasa said. I looked at him and sighed.

well, it was time to start talking to my parents and my family.
