Chapter 28: The Legendary Super Saiyan

"FRIEZA!"

Frieza simply glared at all of them.

The Spirit Bomb hasn't killed him! It had only made him angrier, and weaker by only a margine.

Everyone was scared stiff as they saw him standing there.

Frieza simply glared at all of them, and lifted his arms, pointing two fingers. His grimace turned into an evil and unsettling grin as he started snickering, and shot two beams of light through Piccolo and Raditz' chests!

"Ow! Right in the tit!"

It didn't kill them, but it caused them to collapse to the ground.

Gohan and Chi Cha quickly ran to their mentors.

Gohan, "Mr. Piccolo!"

Chi Cha, "Mr. Raditz!"

Frieza then pointed a finger at Krillin.

Frieza, "you're next."

Krillin, "what? Why me!?"

Frieza, "remember my tail?!"

Krillin, "can't you take a joke!?"

Frieza simply grinned maliciously as he fired, not a beam, but some form of light at Krillin. The Orin monk started floating into the air, freaking out.

Frieza lifted his finger higher, causing Krillin to rise higher and higher!

Goku, "KRILLIN! NO!"

Krillin, "GOKU! HELP ME-"

And that's when it happened. Suddenly, Krillin was engulfed in an explosion, turning his body into ash that scattered through the wind.

Goku, "Krillin…. KRILLIIIIIIIN!"

Goku started to sob uncontrollably at the loss of his best friend. Without the Namekian Dragon Balls, there seemed to be no way to wish him back!

Frieza turned his gaze to the kids, "I think the little brats will go next."

But before Frieza could attack, he was brought out of his sadistic thoughts by the ground around Goku seeming to shake.

Goku, "you…. You ruthless. Sadistic. Monster!"

Goku's new thing grew more frantic, and the area around him shook! Suddenly, dark clouds began gathering into the air, seemingly out of nowhere! Lightning struck around them as this continued.

Goku's hair seemed to twitch, over and over again. His breathing grew more frantic, and suddenly, Goku seemed to begin glowing! The glowing kept shifting, as the sky around them was storming!

Goku then started yelling as loud as he could, the glowing shifting rapidly, until Goku was left yelling into the air, his hair glowing a vibrant golden color, his eyes turned green. His yelling ended, and Goku's gaze landed on Frieza, as he glared at him in pure and utter hatred.

Frieza, "w-what is this?!"

Goku, "... You're not dealing with the average Saiyan anymore."

Frieza, "n-no! It can't be! That's just supposed to be a stupid legend for you Saiyan monkey's!"

Gohan and Chi Cha looked bewildered at what they saw. Especially Gohan, seeing his father like this.

Goku, "Gohan, Chi Cha!"

Gohan, "y-yes daddy?"

Goku, "take Piccolo and Raditz to the others, get on a ship, and get out of here as fast as you can!"

Chi Cha, "b-but-"

Goku, "no buts! If you don't hurry, we'll lose both of them for good!"

No other words were spoken as Gohan and Chi Cha used all of their strength to carry the two large fighters away towards the others as fast as they could.

Goku continued to glare at Frieza. The emperor was in shock, but quickly overcame it as he tried to blast Goku. But before he could, Goku had grabbed his wrist and began squeezing. Hard.

Frieza yelped in pain as Goku squeezed.

Goku then started to punch Frieza in the face, over and over again, managing to draw some blood!

For once, during all the fighting and carnage that went on on Planet Namek, Frieza was at the mercy of someone else.

….

Gohan and Chi Cha had gotten back to the others, and they were now trying to find a safe place to activate Kami's ship, and head to Earth. It took a moment to convince Bulma that Goku would be fine.

What set everyone on edge was not only the wounded Piccolo and Raditz, but also the fact that Krillin was dead.

But for now, all they could focus on was getting off of Namek.

And right at that very moment, on Earth, things were about to work in their favor.

….

Everyone was huddled together, watching as Mr. PoPo was the one to perform the wish.

Mr. PoPo, "arise Shenron, and grant our wish!"

And thus, Shenron burst forth from the Dragon Balls, in all of his glory.

Shenron, "you have summoned the seven Dragon Balls, speak your wish now so I may grant it and return to my lair."

Mr. PoPo, "oh Great Shenron, our wish is for you to bring back everyone killed on Namek, excluding Frieza's men!"

Shenron, "I can bring back everyone but the one known as Krillin, as they have been wished back once before."

Everyone was shocked by Krillin's death, but knew it would have to wait.

Shenron's eyes glowed red for a few moments.

"... your wish has been granted. Fair thee well!"

And with that, Shenron disappeared, and the Dragon Balls once again scattered across the globe, all except for the four star ball, which Mr. PoPo had jumped up to grab for Goku and Gohan.

As everyone waited for what would happen next, Kami said, "we're in the endgame now."

….

Dendes eyes suddenly burst open as his lungs filled with air, all of his wounds being healed in seconds.

Dende sat bolt upright, looking around himself, noticing that the seven stone balls were once again seven large orange balls.

Dende noticed the storm all around him, and was utterly confused.

Dende, "w-what happened? How am I alive right now!?"

And that's when he suddenly heard a voice in his head.

It was King Kai!

King Kai, "Yellow? Is this Dende?"

Dende, "huh? Who's there?!"

King Kai, "my name is King Kai. And your planet is in danger. I need you to make a specific wish on the Dragon Balls…."

….

Guru's lungs filled with oxygen.

Lord Guru, "h-how?"

He noticed all of the storm clouds going around.

Lord Guru, "what the?! Global warming!? When did this happen?!"

….

All around Namek, the Namekians who had been slaughtered all sprang to life, looking around, wondering just what the Hell was going on?!

….

Vegeta suddenly woke up, the fatal wound to his chest was gone.

Vegeta, "wasn't I just being processed on where I go when I die?"

And that's when he noticed the storm clouds, and Dende activating the Dragon Balls nearby.

Vegeta, "ngh, normally, I'd wanna wish for immortality, but revenge on Frieza sounds more appealing!"

Vegeta soared away towards where he felt two very powerful power levels.

Vegeta, "what the Hell is with all of these storm clouds?"

Vegeta caught sight of what was going on between Frieza and Goku. He noticed Goku, and how he looked.

The golden hair and piercing green eyes.

Vegeta thought, "t-the legend is true! The Legendary Super Saiyan! It's him!"

As the fight continued, all three fighters took notice of what was going on in the distance.

Porunga rising into the air.

Frieza, "yes! Now's my chance!"

Frieza sped away, with Goku in hot pursuit to prevent what Frieza was about to try.

Vegeta followed suit!

….

Moments just before.

Dende, "rise Porunga!"

Like before, Porunga rose into the air, "you have summoned the seven Dragon Balls, speak your wish so that I may grant it and return to my lair."

Dende, "my wish is to send everyone on Planet Namek to the Lookout on Planet Earth, except for the ones known as Frieza and Goku!"

Just as Dende had finished making the wish, Frieza had arrived, with Vegeta and Goku in tow.

Frieza, "DRAGON! I, Frieza, ruler of the universe, demand that you grant me eternal life!"

Porunga's eyes glowed red, and then he said, "your wish has been granted! Fair thee well!"

As this happened, people across Namek began to disappear in the blink of an eye!

Dende and Vegeta, much to the surprise of Frieza and Goku.

All across the planet, Lord Guru, the Namekians, Bulma, Chi Chi, Yamcha, Gohan, Chi Cha, Piccolo, Gohan, Raditz and Gine all disappeared as well.

The only people left on Namek were Goku and Frieza.

….

On the Lookout, everyone looked around as everyone from Namek popped up.

Tien, "it worked!"

Everyone from Namek looked bewildered at what was going on.

It was all interrupted by the loud yell of, "RADITZ!"

Maron instantly ran to the Saiyan laying on the ground, unconscious.

Kami came right behind her to help heal the Saiyan as everyone began to reunite with one another.

Tights ran over to Bulma and Gohan, and was intrigued on who the Saiyan woman beside them was.

Chi Chi and Yamcha ran over to the rest of the Z-Fighters. Puar was hugging Yamcha like he'd just disappear. The Ox King pulled Chi Chi into a bone-crushing hug.

The Namekakians all gathered together.

Vegeta stood on his own, finding himself staring at Tights for some odd reason.

Chi Cha found herself looking around, and a certain sight caught their eye.

Standing by Piccolo, healing him, was Dende!

Chi Cha found herself running to him, yelling, "DENDE!"

Dende had just finished healing Piccolo when he heard the yell for his name.

He quickly turned around to see her.

Dende, "CHI CHA!"

Dende ran to her, and the two instantly met in a tight hug. Chi Cha had tears sprinting out of her eyes as she hugged him. She suddenly found herself kissing the Namekian boys cheek.

As she pulled back, they both blushed for a moment.

Chi Cha, "I thought you were dead!"

Dende, "well, technically I was."

The two began chuckling as they held one another.

Kami had just woken up Raditz.

Raditz, "ngh, feels like a train went through my chest."

Maron, "you would feel a Hell of a lot worse if you had left me alone."

Raditz opened his eyes to see Maron.

Raditz, "Maron?!"

Maron, "in the soft milky flesh!"

Raditz, "h-how the Hell did we all get here?"

Maron, "it's a long story."

Gohan, "wait, where's dad?"

Dende, "I made a wish with the Dragon Balls on Namek."

Yamcha, "what was the wish?"

Dende, "I wished for everyone but Frieza and Goku off of Namek."

Bulma, "why not Goku?!"

Vegeta, "Kakkorot's the only one who can defeat Frieza."

Gine, "how?"

Vegeta, "I saw him. The golden hair. The green eyes. Kakkorot fulfilled the legend of the Super Saiyan!"

Raditz, "what? My brother? My little brother is the legendary Super Saiyan?"

Vegeta, "you know how arrogant I am Raditz. If I didn't believe it, I wouldn't be saying it. He fit the description! He was beating Frieza to a pulp when I saw him!"

Before anyone could comment, they saw Lord Guru forming some form of technique with the older Namekian who took care of Dende.

Lord Guru, "before I pass on, I now dub you, Grand Elder Moori. Wielder of the Namekian Dragon Balls, and the new leader of our people."

With his dying words, Lord Guru's body faded away, finally receiving his eternal slumber.

The seven Namekian Dragon Balls fell around them, now turned to stone, but not gone for good.

The Namekians were left with a new leader, and a somber tone over everyone on the Lookout.

Only one thing was on everyone's mind.

What would happen to Goku?

….

Meanwhile

Frieza, "what?! That's not what I wished for!"

Goku, "you should've learned how to speak Namekian Frieza! You've lost your chance at making a wish!"

Frieza, "no! No! I am Lord Frieza! Ruler of the universe! I own everything!"

Goku, "you own nothing!"

Frieza, "you're wrong! I own you! I own this planet! In fact, F #K THIS PLANET!"

Frieza suddenly formed a sparking red and black ball of energy, and threw it down to the planet. It crashed down, leaving a crater in its wake.

Goku, "what have you done?!"

Frieza began cackling like a madman, "in roughly half an hour, this planet will be nothing but ash! I'll be long-gone by the time this happens! I hope you can hold your breath in space you stupid monkey! Because if not, you are going to die here!"

Goku, "not if I have anything to say about it!"

Goku dashed towards Frieza, and the fight resumed. As the storm around them began to slowly but surely grow more intense, Goku and Frieza kept striking at one another, though it was easier for Goku. He seemed to be toying with the tyrant a little. Eventually, Goku was able to catch Frieza off-guard by slapping him! Over and over again, leaving red marks on Frieza's face until Goku slammed both of his fists down on top of Frieza's head, sending him hurtling down. Frieza landed hard, leaving a small crater as he slowly rose to his feet. But Goku quickly dashed right at him, kicking him in the stomach, making Frieza double over.

Goku stood there, watching Frieza.

Frieza, "ngh…. You bastard. This isn't Even a fair fight. I haven't even powers this form to one hundred percent yet!"

Goku, "... then do it."

Frieza, "... excuse me?"

Goku, "I want you to give it your all. So when you fail, and are left broken, you'll forever remember the face of the Saiyan who did it to you."

Frieza's arrogance got the better of him in that moment. He started bulking up, his muscles growing larger, making him stronger, but a little slower.

That's what Goku was counting on.

Once Frieza finished, he tried to strike Goku first.

Big mistake.

Goku was able to dodge the strikes with relative ease, and slowly gaining the advantage in the fight. Even with Frieza's strength being put at 100%, he was still no match for Goku in his new form!

Goku was whaling on Frieza like a punching bag!

But, after twenty minutes of non-stop brutality, Goku simply said, "I'm done."

Frieza, "what?"

Goku, "you aren't worth me dying here Frieza. I'm leaving you here. I never wanna see you again."

Goku started to walk away.

Frieza, "no…. No! You do not walk away from me!"

Frieza formed two destructo disks, and threw them at Goku. The Saiyan saw the attack coming, and quickly dodged. He turned back to Frieza, glaring, but Frieza suddenly made a gesture that had the disks race back towards Goku.

Frieza could see his death now!

But that's when Goku dodged once more. It was to quick for Frieza, and suddenly, Frieza was cut in half, with half of the left arm separating from his body!

Frieza's upper half fell on the ground.

He was slowly dying, blood leaking from his mouth.

Goku was about to walk away, when he heard Frieza begging in a weak voice.

Frieza, "p-please! H-help me!"

Goku, "why should I help you? You've killed so many people. Innocent people! I should let you rot here on this planet and never look back!"

Frieza, "p-pleeeeaaase!"

Goku narrowed his eyes, and fired energy at Frieza. But instead of blowing him up, it gave him the strength to float up.

Goku, "that's enough energy for you to leave. I never wanna see you again Frieza."

Goku started flying away towards Frieza's ship, which he could see was still intact.

Frieza looked at Goku's retreating form.

Frieza, "he…. He let me live? After everything I've done? All the lives I've taken? The world's I've ruined? Maybe…. He's right? Maybe…. I was wrong?... Nah!"

Frieza pushed his luck too far. He fired a blast of energy at Goku, but the Saiyan felt it coming. He fired his own blast of energy, which engulfed and carried the other to Frieza.

Before the space emperor was carried away by the blast, he said in a frightened voice, "mommy, I don't want to be on Namek anymore."

And with that, the blast hit Frieza, and carried him far away from Namek, seemingly ending his reign of terror….

….

Goku quickly made his way to Frieza's ship, running around it, looking for what he needed. Eventually, he found it. Escape pods, like the ones Saiyans used. He quickly climbed into one, and activated it. The pod launched itself away from Namek as it was engulfed in a huge explosion. Goku couldn't control where the pod was headed right now. He only hoped it would take him somewhere safe….

….

On Earth, everyone learned the news from King Kai. Namek was gone. And while he didn't know what would happen to Frieza, he told them that Goku was alive, but would be gone for a year. Everyone was relieved to know he was alive, but Bulma, Gine, Raditz and Gohan were sad about him being gone for so long.

For now, they made plans. In 130 days, the Namekian Dragon Balls could be used again, and they would use them to wish back Krillin, a new Planet Namek for the Namekians, and to send the Namekians there.

Until then, the Namekians would stay at Capsule Corp. Except for Dende. Chi Chi and Yamcha offered him a place with them until then, which the smaller Namekian happily agreed to.

….

130 days later

The group was gathered around.

They were ready to make their wishes. They had already used the Earth Dragon Balls to wish Krillin's soul to the check-in station in Other World.

And Krillin had gone to train with King Kai during all of that time.

Nam, Eighter, Bora and Upa had to stay at their villages.

Bulma was standing with Gohan, Gine, Tights, Raditz and Maron. Maron's baby bump was a little more noticeable now, after four months.

Tien, Chaotzu and Launch in her blonde form stood together, but they now had a new member of their family. Launch was holding a baby boy with light blue hair like his mother, and three eyes like his father.

Launch had given birth to her and Tien's son, Shaun. A loose combination of their names.

The Namekians all stood together, except for Piccolo, who was keeping his distance, and Dende, who was the one making the wishes for them. Yamcha, Chi Chi and Chi Cha were standing with the Ox-King, Roshi, Puar and Oolong.

Bulma and Tight's parents were nearby.

They had managed to teach the Dragon English, btw.

Dende, "now, arise Porunga!"

Porunga arose from the Dragon Balls once more, "you have summoned the seven Dragon Balls, speak your wish so that I may grant it and return to my lair."

Dende, "for our first wish, we wish for the one known as Krillin to be brought back to life!"

Porunga's eyes glowed for a moment before he said, "your wish has been granted. Speak your next wish."

Before all of them, Krillin appeared before all of them, alive and well, wearing orange gi once more, pretty much a smaller version of the go Goku received from his training with King Kai.

Krillin, "h-he everyone!"

Everyone welcomed the shorter fighter back with open arms.

Dende, "for our next wish, we would like to wish for a new Planet Namek for the Namekians."

Porunga's eyes glowed once more, "your second wish has been granted, speak your final wish."

Before Dende spoke the third wish, he paused, and looked to his friends he had made during all of this time.

The one who his eyes stayed on the most was Chi Cha. He felt something for her. Something he couldn't describe yet.

And that's when Dende made a decision.

Dende, "hold on one second."

Everyone looked confused as Dende ran to the other Namekians.

No one heard the conversation being held, but it went on for a few minutes before Dende gave Moori a hug, and ran back to the Dragon Balls.

Dende, "for our final wish, I wish for all of the Namekians except me, Piccolo and Kami to be sent to New Namek."

All of the humans and Saiyans double took at his words.

Porungas eyes glowed once more, and as the Namekians all disappeared one by one, Porunga said, "your wish has been granted. Fair thee well!"

And with that, the Dragon Balls scattered into the air towards New Namek as Porunga disappeared.

Chi Cha ran to Dende and asked, "Dende? Why did you stay on Earth?"

Dende, "I…. I couldn't leave. I really care about you Chi Cha. I don't want to leave your side. There's something between us. I don't know what it is, but I want to explore it with you. I care about you Chi Cha. Very much."

Chi Cha grew tears of joy as she pulled Dende into a tight hug. Dende began crying as well.

Everyone finally felt at peace.

Until Goku returns, peace may return for a while….

….

Meanwhile

We see Frieza's body, barely alive as a large spaceship used a tractor beam to pull him in, in hopes of reviving the space emperor.

...

Also meanwhile

Goku's pod had crash landed on a rocky old planet.

He slowly climbed out of the pod, noticing a bunch of aliens had surrounded it. Some were small and pink with pointy ears and wrinkly faces in old robes. Others were small purple frog people in more simple brown robes.

Goku's hair has gone back to normal, and he simply looked at all of them and said, "uh, hi?"

"Who are you?"

All of the aliens turned their gaze to a figure coming forward.

One yelled, "make way for the violent savior!"

The figure said, "guys, c'mon, it's been roughly twenty years. You think you could stop calling me that?"

Goku looked up, and was shocked by what he saw.

Standing before him was an older Saiyan man with some scars on his face, with hair identical to Goku's that started to grey at the edges. He had robes like the aliens, but had green armor grafted to it. An old red bandana was wrapped to his head. And wrapped around his waist was a tail.

Goku was shocked, because the man looked like an older version of him.

Goku, "no way…."

When the man's gaze fell on Goku, he froze, and said but one name.

"K-Kakkorot?"

Bardock, Goku and Raditz father, lived!

….

PokemonFreak90: we'll see what happens. Bulma may or may not become an android, or cyborg, as I plan to call them for this story. Her suit already allows her to be more useful and helpful in fights. And if I tried including Android 21 later on, I'd either change their name to 22 while Bulma's 21, or make Bulma Android 22.

TheMediaGhost: I hope the moment Goku transforms lived up to the expectations! Also, I'm glad people like the ideas of turning Bulma into a cyborg, and bringing both Goku and Raditz' parents back. I will continue to write the story. Cell wouldn't have a reaction to Bulma, since he's only after 17 and 18.

I'm still hoping Ben 10 wins, because I love the series. The Ben 10 story would be set two years after Omniverse, Ben is now eighteen, has the Ultimatrix again, and finds one of the baby Big Chill's, who is physically four years old, and can walk and talk fine. I would then start a poll to see who Ben's romantic interest will be.

After the next chapter or two, I will close the poll, and begin my next story along with my DBZ story continuing. And, I will do a poll for the Ben 10 story I wanna do.

And, what did you guys think of Bardock being on Yardrat? I changed it so those frog people lived on Yardrat with those other aliens, and Bardock has been there for a long time.

I decided to have the others on Earth wish everyone killed by Frieza, his men and Vegeta back before Frieza decides to destroy Namek, making it so that he didn't care anymore, and just wanted Goku dead.
