Quinn stood at the back of the church feeling like she couldn't breathe as she paced back and forth. Connor placed a hand on her shoulder to get her to stop.

"Why are you so nervous?" He asked her making her look at him.

"I have no idea" She replied "My life is about to change, it's kind of a big deal"

"You've been in love with Jay since you were 17" He said "I might question why, but I don't question how he feels about you"

She couldn't help but laugh. Connor had been the protective older brother figure from the moment they met. He had been wary of Jay that first summer. She had never admitted how she had felt because it was only one summer, but he knew.

"I am so glad you came back" She said squeezing his hand "I really don't think I could do with this without you"

Quinn looked behind her as Rachel, and Gabby came through with Beth. The two of them were her bridesmaids and Beth was her flower girl. They were in beautiful blue dresses, floor length for the bridesmaids and a cute knee length white dress with a blue sash for Beth who had her long blonde hair in curls. She looked practically identical to Quinn it was uncanny.

"You look like a princess" Beth told her giving her a hug.

"I think that's you" She said smoothing out her curls "I'm really happy that you're here, all of you"

"Don't cry you'll start me off" Rachel said wiping her eyes "You really deserve this Quinn; you deserve to be happy"

"Ok" Gabby said putting her hands together "No one is ruining any mascara today, we spent too long on makeup"

Quinn laughed as she took Connor's arm. As the music started to play the doors opened and Beth walked down the aisle with her little basket throwing petals like they had practiced followed by Gabby and Rachel.

Connor patted her hand as she looked around the room. Her Mother had insisted on taking over the wedding preparations but promising she could put it together quickly. Everyone she loved was there. Kurt and Blaine had flown out and were sat with Mercedes. Her Mom was sat with her sister and Fran's family. Kelly and Kitty were there with Matt. Everyone she loved from the hospital. Jay's work friends. But right at the top of the aisle waiting for her was her best friend. The way he was looking at her made her blush. Her nerves were replaced with excitement. Will was stood beside him. They both looked handsome in their suits.

The ceremony felt like they were in their own little bubble. It was only when he placed the wedding band on her finger and kissed her that she even realized there were other people still there.

When they got to the wedding reception the whole place was decorated beautifully with flowers and candles. It was more than what she could have hoped for.

"Mrs. Halstead" He said holding the door open for her.

"I feel like that should sound stranger than it does" She told him with a smile as he took her hand.

"It sounds right to me" He said taking her hand.

"Come on" She said "I want you to meet some people"

Quinn couldn't believe the first time Jay was meeting her daughter and her friends was at their wedding, but she was so glad it could finally happen.

"Beth, Shelby" She said walking over to them "This is Jay, Jay these are two of the most important people in my life"

"It's so good to finally meet you" Shelby told him.

"It's great to meet you too" He told her before turning to Beth "Especially you, Quinn talks about you all the time, she told me what a great singer you are"

"My Mom taught me" Beth nodded taking Shelby's hand "And my Aunt Rachel"

Quinn loved that Beth had a real family that loved her, but it still broke her heart a little bit. Not that she wouldn't have her in her life. It was completely worth it.

She had introduced him to the rest of her friends. Mercedes, Kurt, and Blaine had all approved. Mercedes told her how proud she was of her and the boys had told her how beautiful she looked.

Mercedes had agreed to sing for their first dance. Jay held her close as they stepped out onto the dance floor as Mercedes sang Etta James, At Last. He took her hand and placed his other hand on her waist.

"I didn't know you could dance" She said raising an eyebrow.

"I'm full of surprises" He said with a smirk.

"It's one of the many things I love about you" She told him honestly.

"I love you too" He said kissing her.

The whole day had been perfect. She sat and watched all of her friends on the dance floor. Rachel and Connor seemed close which made her raise an eyebrow. She knew things had ended with Robin, but she hadn't expected that. Not that she was against it, if they were happy then she was. Kitty and Kelly were having a good time but that didn't surprise her in the slightest, and her Mom looked the happiest she had in months. She had only asked her twice when she was going to have kids. Judy wasn't happy to be told in a few years' time, but she let it go which was progress at least. Jay was talking to Adam and Kevin at the bar with his Dad.

Quinn looked up as Will sat down next to her.

"Did I tell you how beautiful you look today?" He asked handing her a glass of champagne.

"No" She replied with a grin "But honestly I would have been worried if you did"

"I'm trying to be nice don't ruin the moment" He told her "I'm really glad you're officially family now"

"I've kind of always felt like I was a part of your family" She told him "But I'm glad it's official now too"

"I get what you mean" He nodded "You always made him really happy"

"I'm not sure I'd go that far" She said smiling "I was a pain in the ass"

"No more than we were" He shrugged "I don't think you see yourself the way we did, Jay just saw an exciting fun loving girl who didn't take crap from anyone, you're still the same way now, maybe just a little bit less temperamental"

"A little bit" She agreed.

Connor came and asked her to dance while Rachel and Blaine were performing.

"So, you and Rachel?" She asked raising an eyebrow as he spun her around.

"I don't know what you're talking about" He replied.

"You know you're a terrible liar" She pointed out "You can never look me in the eye"

"It's been one date" He shrugged "I went to see Shelby and Beth, Rachel was there, we just kind of connected"

"You look happy" She told him "I'm just thankful that you're here today"

"Don't go getting all sentimental again" He warned her "You know what Gabby said about your mascara"

"Right" She laughed "Ice Queen persona"

"You cry way too much for that" He pointed out "For someone who claims she has no emotions you do cry a lot"

"Well for someone who claims to be a lady's man you sure do settle down a lot" She teased.

Quinn spent the rest of the night kind of with Jay but most of the night was catching up with their friends and family and thanking everyone for coming. It was the end of the night when they were finally alone. Quinn had changed out of her wedding dress and they were being driven to the airport. Her Mom had booked a car and paid for them to have a week in Hawaii as a wedding present. Judy had even hugged Jay, she couldn't quite believe it.

She smiled as they were sat on the plane. It had been a long but amazing day. Jay took her hand in his. She leant her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes.
