Opening up outside a peaceful cabin within the forest near the city of Rondeval, it was a bright, sunny morning. Emerging from the building was both Flashback Anakin and Flashback Anastasia (dressed in the battle version of her royal attire), both ready to begin their journey to the neighboring kingdoms.

"It's time." said Flashback Anastasia.

"Yeah." agreed Flashback Anakin. "Don't worry though; I'll make sure whatever creatures we come across don't try to hurt you."

"Oh, I don't know about that." Flashback Anastasia giggled in response. "Maybe I might end up doing it for you."

Flashback Anakin laughed in response, just before bringing his horse over so that he and his lover can begin their journey.

(elsewhere...)

Somewhere in the canyons, the couple, riding their horse, were on their way to the first kingdom of their long and tiring journey.

"It's really quiet out here." worried Flashback Anastasia. "A little too quiet."

"I don't like the looks of things." replied Flashback Anakin.

"Then maybe we should try to get through this area more quickly?"

"Agreed." The black-haired young man agreed.

Somewhere atop high ledges, something or someone was hiding behind some rocks and observing the intruders.

"Intruders?" The monster (Fiendish Rhino Soldier). "In our territory? Well, that's going to change quickly!"

The shadowed figure carefully sneaked away to warn his tribe. Later on, as the horse galloped through the canyon area, there was a rumbling sound, causing the royal couple to take immediate notice.

"What the-?" gasped Flashback Anakin.

"W-What's happening?" quivered Flashback Anastasia.

The horse, knowing what was going on, started neighing and rearing back.

"Easy there, boy! Easy!" exclaimed Flashback Anakin, trying to calm the animal down.

As expected, Flashback Anakin and Flashback Anastasia both already encountered their first obstacles in the form of Fiendish Rhino Warriors, who were charging into battle against those who entered their territory. Having no choice but to fight back, Flashback Anakin and Flashback Anastasia both climbed down from their horse and stood ready to battle the horde of Duel Spirits.

"Anastasia!" warned Flashback Anakin.

"I'm ready for this, Ani!" reassured Flashback Anastasia.

While this wasn't the first time Flashback Anastasia had been in a battle, this was her first time fighting multiple opponents at the same time, but all of her amazing acrobatics and Anakin's training was going to serve her well. Soon, the battle commenced...

"These Fiendish Rhino Warriors are dangerous yet very wild." Flashback Anakin, while fighting the enemies, thought to himself. "They rely on brute force to try and overwhelm their opponents."

He was right; the Fiendish Rhino Warriors were extremely fierce, but most of them were primitive. Due to their wild nature, they would attack their enemies by just lashing out rapidly. Regardless, one hit would probably end Flashback Anastasia's life if she wasn't careful. But as intimidating as they maybe, Flashback Anastasia didn't back down, showing great courage in the face of danger, and with that bravery along with using size to her advantage, she slayed many of the wild Duel Spirits attacking her with her personal rapier (a form of sword).

"Hey, you horn heads!" taunted Flashback Anastasia, blocking one Fiendish Rhino Warrior's weapon with her own weapon. "Just because I'm a princess, doesn't mean I'm as tame as one!"

Just then, after defeating another wild Duel Spirit, Flashback Anastasia had noticed that one of the Fiendish Rhino Warriors, their leader and the least primitive one, was trying to launch a sneak attack on Flashback Anakin, who was too preoccupied killing the other rhinos to even notice as the leader lunging to strike him in the backside.

"Ani!" realized Flashback Anastasia.

Before Flashback Anakin could even realize what was about to happen to him, Flashback Anastasia instinctively leaped to her beloved's aid and slayed the leader before he could strike Flashback Anakin down, who finally noticed. With their leader dead, the remaining Fiendish Rhino Warriors all scattered into different directions. Once the coast was finally clear, the two lovers reunited and spoke...

"Anastasia, you... you've saved me." breathed Flashback Anakin.

"Of course! It was my desire to protect you that allowed me to sense you about to be attacked." Flashback Anastasia winked, posing with her rapier. "All of your training has done very well for me; I was quite valorous in the battle, wasn't I?"

Flashback Anakin just smiled.

Title: Valorous Supreme Queen

The flashback ended, and Emily, with black blood still slimming all around her, felt a beautiful aura beginning to form around her body while her eyes began glowing a gentle blue. With a loud cry, she unleashed a wave of light, freeing her from the blood that was trying to envelop her once again.

"Foolishness!" declared Emily, just as her Life Points rose (LP: 2200 - 3700).

"What?!" cringed Diesel 10 in surprise. "Your Life Points have increased?!"

"They have, and it's thanks to the remaining effect of 'Cupid Volley'." Emily pointed out. "If this monster I control is destroyed by an opponent's card and sent to my Graveyard, I gain 1500 Life Points."

"That means you now have 3700 Life Points."

"Yes." The dark green-haired girl agreed. In her mind... "That was another close call, though if I keep my powers active I might just be able to ward off 'The Wicked Eraser's' blood."

"Tch! You didn't even know that 'The Wicked Eraser' could destroy itself at will, yet you Summoned a monster that would help you if it were to be destroyed by any of my Card Effects." complained Diesel 10. "You just got really lucky." He then shook himself free from the thought. "Regardless, it matters not, the outcome of this duel has already been set in stone! My victory is assured no matter how desperately you struggle against me!"

Emily glared on in defiance.

"Tremble in fear once again as the 'Wicked God' rises from its blood once more!" boomed Diesel 10, before pointing to his face-up 'Wicked Contract' Spell Card. "I activate the effect of 'Wicked Contract'! I can Special Summon 'The Wicked Eraser' once again!"

The black blood pooled around and reformed the serpentine-like dragon once again.

"Now, I'll set one card facedown-" As Diesel 10 spoke on, he slotted a card into his Duel Disk. "-and end my turn."

A facedown card materialized on the field. 'The Wicked Eraser' let loose another roar, while Emily was far from being pleased to see it.

"It just 'had' to come back again." she thought to herself. "I still remember the terrible fear I felt towards the 'Wicked Gods', but the memory I had before I was nearly consumed by the darkness helped me remember who I really am."

While still in her thoughts, Emily imagined herself as Anastasia.

"I am the 'Supreme Queen', a woman who fights valiantly against any foe regardless of the odds or fears, facing them to the very end for the sake of peace and justice, and to protect those I love."

On cue, faded images of all of Emily's friends and family members appeared all around her. The most important one, however, was Thomas, her 'Supreme King'. Once the images faded one-by-one, she looked up at 'The Wicked Eraser'.

"Now, since 'The Wicked Eraser' can destroy itself at any point during Diesel 10's turn, my options are severely limited, since the moment 'Eraser' is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, every single card on the field will be destroyed along with it, except for 'Wicked Contract', which can't be targeted or destroyed by other Card Effects, making it immune to the 'Wicked God's' effect so he can immediately revive it." Emily was saying to herself. "Even then, Diesel 10 has to keep banishing ten cards from his Deck in order to keep 'Wicked Contract' on the field, also he can't Normal Summon monsters as long as it remains on the field."

Just then, a thought came to her...

"Wait a second! 'The Wicked Eraser' can only nuke the field whenever it's destroyed and sent to the Graveyard - if I can remove it from the field without destroying it, its effect won't be triggered and it should be near impossible for Diesel 10 to Special Summon again, and since the cost for 'Wicked Contract' is not an optional one, it must be paid during each of his turns, meaning that he'll lose more cards and won't be able to stop it, and once he runs out of cards to draw, he loses both the duel and his life." The dark green-haired girl went on, before becoming concerned. "But, even so, the fact remains that I only have precious little time to pull this off, and Diesel 10 could have just about anything in store for me."

"Hey!" interrupted Diesel 10 impatiently. "Are you going to actually draw something? Or are you too scared of the 'Wicked God' to even do anything?"

Scowling, Emily made her move...

"It's my turn!" she announced. "Draw!"

Turn Six: Emily Stirling (LP: 3700)
Deck: 47
Current Hand (2): "Aurora Paragon" and "Soul Transition"

Her drawn card was a Trap Card called "Soul Transition', much to her surprise.

"'Soul Transition'?" Emily realized, before getting an idea. "This could be my best bet." She added the card into her hand and took another from it. "I Summon 'Aurora Paragon' in attack mode!"

Appearing onto the field was the familiar winged Fairy monster in golden armor with an aurora around her (Level: 4/ATK: 1500/DEF: 1000).

"Neither player can Special Summon monsters while this monster is on the field. When another monster is Normal Summoned to either player's side of the field, I must destroy this monster."

"Huh! You must be desperate enough to try attacking with a stronger monster to try and chip away at my Life Points." huffed Diesel 10. "It looks like I was entirely wrong about you; you don't have the brains to match your tits! Why? Because if you were intelligent, then you would have realized just how pointless and naive that move was!"

"Say what?!" gasped Emily.

"Facedown card, open!" shouted Diesel 10, just as his facedown card flipped up and revealed itself to be... "Continuous Trap - 'Wicked Punishment', activate! Now, any Battle Damage that I would take from a battle involving a DIVINE monster will be inflicted to the opponent, namely you, instead. Also, this card can't be destroyed by other Card Effects!" He then laughed darkly. "I've just put a damper on your so-called plan, toots!"

"Ngh... This will limit my moves even further." groaned Emily, before looking at the only remaining card in her hand. "This really is my only chance at making a comeback." With that thought on hand, she slotted the card into a Spell/Trap slot on her Duel Disk. "I set one card and end my turn."

A facedown card materialized on the field.

"You suck, Emily Stirling!" insulted Diesel 10. "Really, you do!"

"Well, at least I'm not the one who deliberately goes out of his way to make others miserable." Emily retorted hotly. "Just take your turn!"

Diesel 10 obeyed, drawing a card without saying a word.

Turn Seven: Diesel 10 (LP: 1500)
Deck: 31
Current Hand (1): "Pot of Greed"

Upon seeing his card, he looked up and pointed to his face-up 'Wicked Contract' Spell Card.

"Due to the effect of 'Wicked Contract'-" The ochre-haired man was saying, as ten cards from the top of his Deck faded away into oblivion. "-I must again Banish ten cards from my Deck facedown to keep my Continuous Spell on the field!"

The banishing of ten more cards caused the multi-coloured markings on Diesel 10's to spread even further across, causing him to become slowly more unstable. Despite being close to death, Diesel 10 just recovered and smiled.

"I know I'm dying, but I don't give a damn about it since I still have intoxicating the power of the 'Wicked God' on my side, and I'm so close to having my revenge!" he jeered. "Can you feel it? The unmatched power of 'The Wicked Eraser'?"

"Sorry, but I think I'll pass on that." dismissed Emily, disgusted.

On cue, the 'Pot of Greed' Spell Card flipped face-up and revealed itself.

"Thanks to 'Pot of Greed', I can draw two cards." said Diesel 10, drawing two cards. He then grimaced over the colorful markings spreading further due to how low on cards his Deck was becoming. "$*#%..."

Emily remained silent, watching as Diesel 10 weakly looked at what cards were drawn. Upon seeing them, his grimacing was gone and replaced with a sadistic smile on his face.

"Are you ready?" he whispered. "This is the final piece to my combo. With it, 'The Wicked Eraser' will become untouchable!"

Emily braced herself, ready for whatever was coming next.

"Equip Spell - 'Wicked Brutality'(!)!" announced Diesel 10, holding his card out. "I'll equip 'The Wicked Eraser' with this card!"

The mentioned Spell Card materialized face-up on the field, causing 'The Wicked Eraser' to glow in a crimson aura.

"'Wicked Brutality'?" worried Emily.

"To show you the power of this card, I'll activate its second effect!" began Diesel 10. "It lets me target a monster my opponent controls and randomly Banish cards from his or her Deck equal to the Level of the targeted monster." He then pointed at his opponent. "Best of all, the opponent can't activate cards or effects in response to the activation of this effect."

As expected, 'The Wicked Eraser' looked down upon 'Aurora Paragon'.

"I'll select 'Aurora Paragon' for this effect! Its Level is 4, so four random cards are removed from your Deck!"

With a roar from 'The Wicked Eraser', Emily found her left arm starting to move on its own. From there, four random cards ejected from her Deck. The cards were shown to be 'Shuffle Reborn' (Spell Card), 'Lumenize' (Trap Card), 'Counselor Lily' (Tuner Monster Card), and 'Dark Angel' (Effect Monster Card).

"No!" cried Emily, but in her mind... "My trump card wasn't one of the banished cards, meaning I still have a chance."

Meanwhile, Diesel 10 continued on with his evil plan...

"Now, I'll activate a Quick-Play Spell from my hand!" he went on, holding his last card out. "'Banish Explosion'(!)! I can inflict 400 points of damage to my opponent for every card that was banished this turn. Since four cards were removed from the game, you'll take 1600 points of damage!"

Several explosions went off, causing Emily to cough as the clouds of dust blew around her. When the smoke finally cleared, Emily was shown to be dirty from the attack (LP: 3700 - 2100).

"This will be the final curtain call!" exclaimed Diesel 10.

"Wrong!" retorted Emily, just as her facedown card flipped up and revealed itself. "I activate a Trap - 'Soul Transition'! If I control no Special Summoned monsters, I can tribute one face-up Level 4 Normal Summoned or Set monster and draw two cards."

"You would give up your only monster just to draw more cards?" snorted Diesel 10, despite knowing that 'The Wicked Eraser's' Attack Power would become zero once the opponent's field was empty of cards. "Well, whatever! Go right ahead and sacrifice your monster!"

With that said, 'Aurora Paragon' faded away in a blue streak, letting Emily draw two cards.

"Now it's my turn!" declared Diesel 10, just as a card re-materialized in the palm of his right hand. "I can banish 'Banish Explosion' from my Graveyard to randomly add one of my facedown banished cards into his hand!"

The card was the 'Red Reboot' Trap Card, but Emily didn't see this. From there, 'The Wicked Eraser's' power level dropped all the way to empty (ATK: 2000 - 0/DEF: 2000 - 0).

"I really must praise you for dropping 'Eraser's' Attack Power to zero!" smirked Diesel 10. "However, all it's done is delay your incoming defeat! Besides, it won't stop me from declaring an attack with my monster."

"Wait what?" blinked Emily. "You're going to attack with 'The Wicked Eraser' despite it having no Attack Points to speak of?"

The Battle Phase began...

"'Wicked Eraser', attack Emily directly!" commanded Diesel 10. "DIGESTIVE BLAZE!"

'The Wicked Eraser' obeyed, unleashing another toxic breath-like attack. The attack struck Emily, but she didn't even scream or suffer any damage from it.

"Your attack has done no damage." The dark green-haired girl criticized. "What was the point of it?"

"For an effect, that's what!" answered Diesel 10. "'Wicked Brutality's' main effect activates! If the equipped monster attacks, then, after damage calculation, the opponent takes damage equal to the Level of the equipped monster times 200!"

Emily recoiled hard. "What?!"

Suddenly, 'The Wicked Eraser' fired a beam of energy, striking Emily head on and sending her flying across the room. When the attack finally ended, she collapsed onto the floor while her Life Points dropped to critical levels (Level: 2100 - 100).

"If you hadn't used 'Soul Transition', that attack would have caused you to lose, but even still your foot is already in the grave." taunted Diesel 10.

Weakly, Emily looked up. "A-Are you sure about that?" she asked in a low tone. "This is what I've been aiming for!"

Diesel 10 frowned, but said nothing. He watched as his opponent slowly returned to her feet as she took and held a card out.

"I activate a Trap Card - 'Evenly Matched'!" declared Emily. "At the end of the Battle Phase, if my opponent controls more cards than I do, I can make my opponent Banish cards from their field facedown so they control the same number of cards as I do. If I control no cards, then I can activate this card from my hand. As you can see, I have no cards on my field, so you must remove every card on your field from the game, and because 'Evenly Matched' doesn't target or destroy, even 'Wicked Contract' is not immune to this effect, meaning it's now impossible for 'The Wicked Eraser' to ever come back!"

Diesel 10 merely laughed. "I applaud you for coming up with a somewhat decent strategy; it's simply brilliant!" he said falsely. "However, you are really stupid and naive to believe it will work against somebody like me!"

"What do you mean by that?" worried Emily.

During the discussion, the 'Evenly Matched' Trap Card materialized face-up on the field.

"My Deck was fully modified to counter every single attempt you have at weakening 'The Wicked Eraser' or trying to get rid of it." boasted Diesel 10. "I'm always prepared for anything you try to throw at me!" He then took and held his final card out as his Life Points took a hit (LP: 1500 - 750). "Like so... I'll pay half of my Life Points to activate, from my hand, 'Red Reboot'!"

"No!" gasped Emily in sheer horror, remembering that card all too well from Diesel 10's duel with Hurricane. In her mind... "That's one of the cards he removed from the game, and also the one he retrieved by the use of 'Banish Explosion'."

"Judging by the look on your face, you remember this card." Diesel 10 grinned, having a feeling that his enemy recognized the card. "When my opponent activates a Trap Card, I can negate the activation, and then, if I do this, set that card facedown, then my opponent can set one Trap Card directly from their Deck. For the rest of this turn after this card resolves, my opponent can't activate any Trap Cards."

Emily's face-up 'Evenly Matched' Trap Card faded away, just before reappearing on the field as a facedown card.

"Dammit! As soon as I set my card, 'The Wicked Eraser' will just destroy itself along with my other cards before returning once more!" Emily thought to herself, clearly frustrated. She then drew a card and looked at it. "Now that 'Evenly Matched' has failed, there's only one Trap Card that can turn things around for me."

A few seconds later, a facedown card materialized on the field.

"You've set another card - not that it will matter!" cackled Diesel 10. "Once again, I'll activate the effect of 'The Wicked Eraser'! During my Main Phase, I can destroy this monster!"

'The Wicked Eraser' let out a roar and began to disappear yet again, becoming a whirling tornado of black ash that started burning away all of the cards on Emily's field, along with the 'Wicked Brutality' Spell Card on Diesel 10's field. The only cards that weren't destroyed were both the 'Wicked Punishment' Trap Card and the 'Wicked Contract' Spell Card.

"And don't forget that 'Wicked Punishment' and 'Wicked Contract' both can't be destroyed!" Diesel 10 pointed out. "But, the fun part's just starting; the effect of 'Wicked Contract' will revive 'The Wicked Eraser', who's a DIVINE monster, once per turn!"

Very quickly, and once again, 'The Wicked Eraser' rose from its blood and unleashed another fierce roar.

"I end my turn!" continued Diesel 10. "However, this will trigger the third and final effect of 'Wicked Brutality'! As it was destroyed by a Card Effect this turn, every card that was banished by its second effect returns to the top of the opponent's Deck!"

To Emily's surprise, five cards were added to the top of her Deck, and they were the same cards she was forced to remove from the game.

"Why would he give me an advantage like that?" Emily wondered to herself. Regardless, she drew her next card. "My turn, draw!"

Turn Eight: Emily Stirling (LP: 100)
Deck: 50
Current Hand (2): "Supreme Hope"(!) and "Shuffle Reborn"

After spending a few seconds looking at her cards, Emily looked up at her opponent.

"Diesel 10, I'm going to end this duel." she said sternly, taking a card from her hand. "I'll do it with a card you willingly gave back to me!"

"Ah, but you can't!" interrupted Diesel 10. "Take a look at it, why don't you?"

Emily did, and gasped at what was happening to her card.

"It... it's glowing all blue?!" The dark green-haired girl winced.

"That's right." giggled Diesel 10, pointing at his opponent. "This is because it's all thanks to 'Wicked Brutality'... All of the banished cards added into your Deck are rendered unplayable for the rest of the duel! Hehehehe... Your next three Draw Phases are absolutely worthless!" With another maniacal chuckle, he took a card from his Graveyard and showed what it was. "I can also skip my next Draw Phase to add 'Wicked Brutality' back into my hand. Do you know what this means?"

Emily remained silent.

"On my next turn, I'll equip 'Wicked Brutality' to 'The Wicked Eraser' once again! When I declare an attack afterward, I'll be the winner of the duel! My victory is 100% guaranteed!"

Diesel 10 then laughed long and madly, thinking there was no way he could lose now.

"It's ironic, don't you think?" whispered Emily at long last.

Diesel 10 stopped laughing.

"In a way-" continued Emily. "-you've ended up helping me."

"W-What are you implying?!" Diesel 10 demanded in surprise. "How did I help you? You can't use any of your unbanished cards!"

Once again, Emily didn't answer the question (not at first anyway). That's because she was glowing in a heavenly aura.

"I am the 'Supreme Queen'!" declared Emily, taking on her past self's voice and accent again. "No matter how much you push me into a corner, 'our' valorous soul will never surrender to a demon like you!"

With that said, the aura completely consumed her, causing Diesel 10 to cry out and cover his eyes from the beautiful light. When the light dimmed, Emily had once again transformed into Anastasia. Diesel 10 was astonished, but remained convinced that Emily could not win against him.

"Nice transformation, you whore!" he insulted. "But, it's too late! There isn't anything you can do to fight back!"

"On the contrary, I still have one more card in my hand." corrected Emily, before taking and holding it out. "Spell Card - 'Supreme Soul', activate! It lets me Banish one monster from my Graveyard and send cards from the top of my Deck to the Graveyard equal the Level of the banished monster, and then I can draw a card. I can't Normal Summon or Set monsters the turn I activate this card."

On cue, the spirit of 'Aurora Paragon' appeared on the field for a couple of seconds, before beginning to glow. This resulted in the top four cards of Emily's Deck glowing and being ejected one by one. The four cards ('Lumenize', 'Counselor Lily', 'Dark Angel', and 'The Fountain in the Sky') floating around the dark green-haired young woman before being shown to Diesel 10, who recoiled upon seeing what they were.

"Those are the cards you're forbidden from using!" spluttered Diesel 10. "What the hell's going on?!"

"I'm glad you asked." smirked Emily, just as 'Aurora Paragon' faded away into oblivion. "What's currently going on, is I'm ready to defeat you once and for all!" She then braced two fingers from her glowing right hand onto her Deck and chanted... "The Duels of the strongest duelists are inevitable! Even the draws are decided by the duelist! Shining Draw!"

With that said, Emily drew a card with the Shining Draw, severely bothering Diesel 10. Emily then saw what her drawn card was; it was the 'Angelic Gift' Spell Card.

"This is the card that will help turn the tide of battle." she declared, before holding the card out. "I activate the Spell Card 'Angelic Gift'! I must Banish any number of Fairy monsters from my Graveyard. For each Fairy monster banished, I can draw two cards. The minimum number of monsters I can banish is one, and the maximum number is three!"

On cue, the spirits of three monsters ('Herald of Perfection', 'Wingweaver Specter', and 'Cupid Volley') Emily had recently sent to the Graveyard appeared on the field briefly, offering their power to Emily before vanishing into oblivion. With more power gained, Emily raised her right hand up, with the palm glowing with rainbow-colored energy once again.

"All light, give me power! Gather into my right hand and illuminate a path toward hope!" The dark green-haired young woman chanted, before bracing two fingers onto her Deck. "Shining Draw!"

Six cards were drawn with the Shining Draw. Diesel 10 shielded his eyes from the blinding light. Emily then saw she had drawn 'Wingweaver Enchantress' (Effect Monster Card), 'Serapheem' (Ritual Monster Card), 'Swing of Memories' (Spell Card), 'Airknight Parshath' (Effect Monster Card), 'Sprite's Blessing' (Spell Card), and 'Athena' (Effect Monster Card). These were just the cards she needed! Even then, there was more that was needed...

"As 'Wingweaver Specter' was banished, I can Special Summon this monster only once!" declared Emily. "Now, return to me - 'Wingweaver Specter'!"

The spectral Fairy-Type monster reappeared on the field (Level: 1/ATK: 0/DEF: 2100). With one card being on Emily's field, 'The Wicked Eraser' grew stronger (ATK: 0 - 1000/DEF: 0 - 1000). Just then, another card in Emily's hand started glowing, but it was more of a good thing.

"The effect of 'Wingweaver Enchantress' activates!" announced Emily, taking the card and placing it onto her Duel Disk. "As it was added into my hand outside my Draw Phase, I can Special Summon this monster!"

Appearing onto the field was the younger-looking 'Wingweaver' dressed like an enchantress (Level: 4/ATK: 1400/DEF: 1400). With two cards being on the Emily's field, 'The Wicked Eraser' once again grew stronger (ATK: 1000 - 2000/DEF: 1000 - 2000).

"Well, that sure was pointless." scoffed Diesel 10.

"From my hand, I'll activate a Ritual Spell!" continued Emily, taking and holding another card out. "'Sprite's Blessing'! This card can be used to Ritual Summon any LIGHT Ritual Monster. I must also tribute monsters from my hand or field whose total Levels exactly equal the Level of the Ritual Monster I try to Ritual Summon." She then took two cards from her hand and held them out. "I send 'Athena' and 'Airknight Parshath' both from my hand to the Graveyard! Seven and five equals twelve!"

As both 'Athena' and 'Airknight Parshath' both appeared on the field, they were absorbed into a forming pillar of light while Emily performed a Summon Chant...

"Angel of the highest order, she who guards The Sanctuary in the Sky, I summon you to smite the wicked from this land!"

The pillar of light started to fade away and reveal a familiar-looking monster.

"Ritual Summon!" shouted Emily, raising her right hand into the sky. "Arise from the heavens - 'Serapheem'!"

Standing on the field was the more evolved-looking form of 'Wingweaver' (Level: 12/ATK: 2900/DEF: 2500). Because another card was on the field, 'The Wicked Eraser' grew stronger still (ATK: 2000 - 3000/DEF: 2000 - 3000).

"'Serapheem's' effect activates! This monster's Attack Power increases by 600 points for every LIGHT monster in my Graveyard." explained Emily. "I recall there being six such monsters there, so 600 times 6 equals a 3600 point boost!"

'Serapheem' grew even stronger (ATK: 2900 - 6500). Far from being done, Emily took and held another card out.

"I activate 'Swing of Memories'!" she exclaimed. "It lets me target one Normal Monster in my Graveyard and Special Summon it, but it will be destroyed during the End Phase of this turn. Come forth - 'Wingweaver'!"

As expected, 'Wingweaver' reappeared on the field. Of course, with one less LIGHT monster in the Graveyard, 'Serapheem' lost some of her power (ATK: 6500 - 5900), while 'The Wicked Eraser' grew stronger again (ATK: 3000 - 4000/DEF: 3000 - 4000). Despite facing down two powerful monsters, Diesel 10 was not worried at all. In fact, he started laughing over it.

"It's pointless!" howled Diesel 10. "No matter how strong your little angels are, thanks to 'Wicked Punishment' still being around, any Battle Damage I'd take will be inflicted upon you instead!"

Emily frowned. "Don't be so sure of that."

"Wha-?" froze Diesel 10, mid-sentence.

'Wingweaver' and 'Serapheem' both glared at the opposition, knowing that it was time to put an end to things with their enemies - as one being. All they needed was the command to be given, and given it was...

"This, Diesel 10, is the embodiment of my very soul!" declared Emily. "I'm going to fuse both 'Wingweaver' and Serapheem' both together!"

The two Fairy-Type monsters nodded to each other before flying up towards the ceiling and fusing together. As the Fusion Summon sequence commenced, more and more light filled the whole ceiling as Emily began a lengthy Summon Chant...

"Those who rule The Sanctuary in the Sky, become one and bring forth an angel of perhaps the highest order to extinguish the cruel darkness!"

Diesel 10 recoiled hard, wondering what his opponent was doing.

"With the combination of the two angels of the land-" continued Emily. "-the Queen of Light shall rise and smite the rulers of the dark!"

As the light in the ceiling slowly began to dim, a female figure began to lower from said-light.

"FUSION SUMMON! Descend into these lands - 'Supreme Queen of Angels'!"

Lowering herself more and more onto the field was the ever so beautiful monster version of Anastasia/adult Emily (Level: 12/ATK: 3750/DEF: 3400). With one less card on Emily's field, 'The Wicked Eraser' lost some power (ATK: 4000 - 3000/DEF: 4000 - 3000).

"My ultimate monster has finally arrived!" boomed Emily. "With her appearance comes your final fall from grace, Diesel 10! I activate the effect of 'Supreme Queen of Angels'! When she's Special Summoned successfully, I can target one face-up Spell or Trap Card my opponent controls; I can negate the effect, and then, if I do this, destroy that card! When this effect resolves, I can draw one card."

'Supreme Queen of Angels' began to glow before charging up a blast of light magic from her hands.

"N-N-Negate?!" cringed Diesel 10. "No, you can't!"

"Watch me!" Emily insisted harshly, with her eyes glowing all blue and her whole body glowing in a bright, golden aura. "I choose to negate the effect of 'Wicked Punishment' and destroy it! Now, go forth, 'Supreme Queen of Angels'! GIGA RAYS OF JUDGEMENT!"

With a powerful cry, the blast was fired from the hands of 'Supreme Queen of Angels', striking and soon shattering the face-up 'Wicked Punishment' Trap Card.

"My...'Wicked Punishment'..." whispered Diesel 10.

"With your card's destruction, I get to draw one more card." reminded Emily, who then got ready to draw once more. "This final draw will give my monster the power she needs to put an end to your evil! I will draw Anastasia's signature weapon - 'Supreme Weapon - Divine Rapier'(!)!"

"'Supreme Weapon'?" Diesel 10 asked, looking very disinterested. "Never heard of it!"

Without saying another word, Emily performed one last Shining Draw. The drawn card was still glowing when she held it up into the sky.

"The effect of 'Supreme Weapon - Divine Rapier' activates!" Emily thundered on. "When I add this card into my hand outside my Draw Phase, I can equip this monster onto one 'Supreme Queen' Monster I control!"

'Supreme Queen of Angels' held her left hand up, just as a rapier-like sword materialized out of particles of light. With a loud battle cry, 'Supreme Queen of Angels' swung the blade once and posed for combat. Of course, another card being of the opponent's field caused 'The Wicked Eraser' to grow stronger (ATK: 3000 - 4000).

"Everything has been set." nodded Emily. "I will now activate the effect of the 'Wings of Misdirection' in my Graveyard!" Just as a huge image of the mentioned Trap Card materialized behind her. "This is the card you've forced me to set by the effect of 'Red Reboot', and then you destroyed it by the use of 'Eraser'!"

"W-What?!" stuttered Diesel 10.

"By its effect, I can remove this card from my Graveyard and two cards I control, then I can target one monster I control; until the end of this turn, it gains 800 Attack Points, while also the effect and activation of all cards my opponent currently controls are negated. Oh, and just like 'Evenly Matched', this effect doesn't target, so 'Wicked Contract' can't avoid it!"

Diesel 10 screamed in horror. As expected, 'Wingweaver Spector' and 'Wingweaver Enchantress' both were absorbed towards the ceiling, which caused beams of light rain upon the field. One beam struck 'Supreme Queen of Angels', causing her to grow stronger (ATK: 3750 - 4550). Another beam struck the face-up 'Wicked Contract' Spell Card, rendering its effects moot. One final beam struck 'The Wicked Eraser', rendering it completely powerless (ATK: 4000 - 0).

"Hmph! My victory has been guaranteed." smirked Emily.

"This can't be the end of the Great Diesel 10!" Diesel 10 insisted angrily. "I refuse to be defeated by a girl!" He recovered, however, and smirked back. "And besides, despite your bold words I'm still going to win in the end!"

"How?" quizzed Emily.

"Because 'Wicked Punishment' has a third and final effect... During the Damage Step of either player's turn, I can remove this card from my Graveyard; it will result in the opponent taking the damage I would take during that battle."

"Your tricks won't work again, Alexander Swindon!" The dark green-haired young woman growled, before entering the Battle Phase. "I use 'Supreme Queen of Angels', equipped with 'Supreme Weapon - Divine Rapier', to attack 'The Wicked Eraser'! In addition, my ace monster has an effect... When battling any monster my opponent has, during either player's turn, this monster gains 200 Attack Points for every Level of every other monster on the field!"

"12 plus 10 equals 22, and that times 200 equals a boost of 4400 Attack Points." grumbled Diesel 10. In his mind... "That won't defeat me, you dumb bitch, and you know it!"

Raising her rapier up as it absorbed particles of light, 'Supreme Queen of Angels' began to grow even stronger (ATK: 4550 - 8950).

"Are you prepared to repent?" hissed Emily.

"More like I'm ready to win!" retorted Diesel 10, growing more and more deranged by the second. "I think you've gone truly insane; by attacking me like this, you're basically killing yourself!"

"There's more to me than meets the eye." Emily pointed out. "I activate the second effect of 'Divine Rapier'! When battling another monster while equipped to a 'Supreme Queen' Monster, my 'Supreme Queen' Monster's Attack Power becomes equal to the Attack Power of the monster I'm attacking."

"What?!"

"That's right!" The dark green-haired young woman confirmed. "Instead of an Attack Power of 8950, 'Supreme Queen of Angels's' Attack Power is instead...zero!"

'Supreme Queen of Angels' allowed her weapon to reduce her Attack Power all the way to nothing (ATK: 8950 - 0).

"Now your monster is as weak as mine!" Diesel 10 argued, trying to figure out what this was all about. "What was the point of all this?"

"You should know the reason for it, Diesel 10." said Emily. "It's to bypass your 'Wicked Punishment's' remaining effect." She then gave the final command. "Go forth, 'Supreme Queen of Angels'! JUDGEMENT DIVIDER!"

'Supreme Queen of Angels' obeyed, readying her rapier before, with a mighty cry, swinging the weapon and sending a powerful sword beam at 'The Wicked Eraser', who responded by unleashing a Digestive Blaze attack.

(elsewhere...)

Outside Boxford Corporation, there was an earthquake as a result of the two powerful monsters attacking each other. In the streets below, people could feel the vibration, but it wasn't anything too serious.

(elsewhere...)

Back inside the building's upper level, thick smoke had covered the whole field as a result of the destructive battle by 'The Wicked Eraser' and 'Supreme Queen of Angels'. When the smoke cleared, 'Supreme Queen of Angels', with 'Supreme Weapon - Divine Rapier' still in her left hand, was shown laying on the ground, dead. 'The Wicked Eraser', meanwhile, was mortally wounded and bleeding black blood from its chest.

"As 'The Wicked Eraser' is meeting its end-" Emily pointed out. "-every other card on the field will be destroyed. And since 'Wicked Contract's' effect was negated, it's going to be destroyed as well!"

A horrified Diesel 10 could only watch helplessly as 'The Wicked Eraser' collapsed onto the ground as more and more black blood spilled, which soon formed a huge pool and covered every card (be it Monster Card, Spell Card, or Trap Card) on the field, destroying them.

"This... this can't be possible." murmured Diesel 10. "My ultimate trump card...is gone." He then shook his head and remembered that he could still win. "However, your graceful plays still cost you your best monster! 'Supreme Queen of Angels' has been destroyed, and your Battle Phase has come to an end!" Noticeable veins were shown on the side of his face as he suffered from mass hysteria (or insanity, depending on your views). "You have nothing left to defend yourself! Now that 'Wicked Contract' is gone, all I need to do is Summon any monster and attack you directly! It would seem I was right all along; I've STILL won this duel!"

Emily frowned. "Are you sure about that?" she asked coldly.

"What?!" flinched Diesel 10.

"My Battle Phase has not ended yet." continued Emily, speaking slowly. "The final effect of 'Divine Rapier' activates now. When this monster is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard while equipped to a 'Supreme Queen' Monster, I can target one Level 7 LIGHT monster from my Graveyard and Special Summon it."

"WHAT?!" cried Diesel 10, realizing what was about to happen next.

"The monster I will choose to Summon is my personal Guardian Angel." declared Emily, before raising her right hand into the air. "Come forth - 'Wingweaver'!"

As expected, 'Wingweaver' reappeared on the field in particles of light; she was ready to avenge her fallen ally (Level: 7/ATK: 2750/DEF: 2400). Diesel 10 was beyond terrified.

"This is where it ends for you, Alexander Swindon!" Emily declared. "Never again will you hurt my friends or other innocent people!"

"This can't be possible!" wailed Diesel 10, suffering from a villainous breakdown. "I possess a 'Wicked God'... There's no friggin' way I can lose to ANYBODY!"

"This is why 'we' reign supreme!" boomed Emily, before giving the final command to her ace monster... "'Wingweaver', attack Diesel 10 directly! LUMINOUS SPARK RAIN!"

'Wingweaver' obeyed, charging a blast of light in her hands. Within seconds, beams of light rained upon the field, with one of the beams striking Diesel 10 and causing an explosion, sending the ochre-haired man flying, while screaming in dread, across the room until he was rolling along the ground as the black void created by 'The Wicked Eraser' faded away.

"I-Impossible..." whispered Diesel 10 weakly (LP: 750 - 0). "I... I've been defeated?"

DUEL RESULTS: Emily Stirling wins!

With the void gone, Hurricane, still resting in his corner, finally regained his senses.

"It's gone... finally gone." The brown/red-haired boy realized, noticing that 'The Wicked Eraser' was nowhere to be seen. "Did Emily...win?"

He then saw that Emily, who was panting hard from the intense duel, was still standing. It meant one thing... Emily DID win the duel! Diesel 10, meanwhile, weakly looked up. He was in disbelief over losing the duel, even with a 'Wicked God' Card in his possession, but then also noticed that nothing was happening to him.

"Wait, wasn't I supposed to die or something?" pondered Diesel 10. "I remember that 'Wicked Contract' was destroyed during the duel. Perhaps it means that the contract is now expired, meaning that I won't die!" Growing more and more hopeful, he started to laugh madly. "I've actually cheated death! That Driote doesn't know what she's-"

Just then, he felt a great pain in his chest (similar to a heart attack) as both the proto-type copy of the 'The Wicked Eraser' Monster Card and 'Wicked Contract' Spell Card flew from his Duel Disk and floated in front of him. A few seconds later, the two cards burst into black flames.

"This can't be!" Diesel 10 cried out, who was so scared and weakened from the duel that he couldn't even try to move. "The contract was still valid and I also lost the duel, so I... I must pay my side of the agreement!"

As expected, the black flames set him alight, causing the ochre-haired man to scream in sheer agony.

"HELP ME!" shrieked Diesel 10. "SOMEBODY HELP ME! FRANKIE! DRIOTE! PLEASE, HAVE MERCY ON ME!"

Nearby, Hurricane watched everything in silent horror due to how violent and disturbing it truly was. Emily, while horrified herself at the gruesome scene, knew that this was what happened to those who were foolish and had also willingly sold their soul to the devil without remorse.

"You brought this upon yourself, Diesel 10." she said calmly yet coldly. "Nobody 'made' you act like a horrid monster. You did so because you 'chose' so. As I've said once before, there is no cure for the foolish."

Eventually, as Diesel 10 burned to death, the black flames began dying down. When the flames were fully extinguished, all that remained of Alexander Swindon were the Black Disk and his robotic arm - broken beyond repair.

"My God..." whispered Hurricane, stunned by the scene. "What... where did he-?"

Emily, still in the form of Anastasia, said nothing except continue to glare at the spot where Alexander Swindon used to stand.

(elsewhere...)

Outside on the Apex Arena, the elevator doors opened, and stepping out was Thomas, having finally arrived. After taking a few steps out of the elevator...

"DRIOTE!" shouted Thomas at the top of his lungs, as if he was expecting his enemy to show herself.

Driote, who was sitting on the stairs to the arena, looked up when she overheard the scream. Despite being an insane monster, she looked surprisingly calm at the moment. Of course, she would throw that demeanor away very shortly. Nearby, Thomas could see that Spencer was still on a knee, and standing beside him was both Discord and Skiff.

"Spencer!" Thomas called out, running over. "Skiff, are you alright?"

When Skiff nodded, the blue-haired boy turned his attention back to Spencer...

"Spencer, are you okay?" he asked once more.

"Heh! Are you actually worried about me?" grunted Spencer, managing to say something smug despite sweating hard. "I must really be losing my touch."

"He's fine, Thomas-boy." reassured Discord, watching as Spencer slowly returned to his feet.

Thomas remained silent.

"Hmph... I was exposed to the poison of the so-called 'Evil Gods'... that's all." Spencer went on. He then shot his friend/rival a small smile. "The fact that you made it up here, means that none of those Duel Pirates could stop you."

"They didn't." replied Thomas, shaking his head.

"Well, good! I'm not at all surprised by your victories. Because as I've told Driote up there, only 'I' can defeat you!"

"Spencer..." smiled Thomas, nodding at the silver-haired young man. He then lost his smile as he turned his attention back to Driote. "Now then..."

By now, Driote had stood up from her spot and began clapping (sarcastically).

"Bravo to you, Thomas—or should I say Anakin?" she congratulated falsely, calling Thomas by his past self's name. "You have managed to survive all of my minions and make your way to the top of this building just to see me. I've been waiting for you for so long, my beloved!"

Thomas frowned, but said nothing in response.

"Besides, you have missed one hell of a party! I've recently killed some people - what was it, five, six, or whatever the number was - in the span of like, what, half an hour, maybe even less than that? Either way, it was beautiful! So beautiful!"

Driote then laughed maniacally. Thomas wondered what his enemy meant by that, so Discord decided to fill him in on what had happened in a short period of time...

"You see-" The creator of Duel Monsters explained. "-Driote stopped Spencer from winning their duel by using Skiff as a living shield. When I arrived with Frankie's parents, she killed them without any hesitation or restraint. Then, when my helicopter took off, she shot it down, killing everybody aboard and whoever was in the streets and in the vehicle's destructive path. And finally-"

"Please allow me to finish!" interrupted Driote, causing all eyes to go directly to her. "After I eliminated Frankie, I killed off those three annoying pirate commanders when they tried to challenge me!"

"What?!" gasped Thomas, upon hearing Frankie's name. "Eliminated Frankie? What are you implying by that?"

"Frankie came to realize that all this time-" Driote explained, remembering Frankie's mental breakdown. "-I was merely using her and the R.A. Project as a means of regaining my own body. However, when that failed, I had to make do with taking complete control of 'her' body instead." She then giggled wickedly. "Of course, it was only after reality hit her like a truck and she finally realized all of the horrible things she had done in her mad quest - with my help, that is!"

"Why you-!" yelled Thomas, clearly enraged.

Driote simply laughed it off. "Aww! Who even cares about those lives or what I did to Frankie? All of that was nothing compared to my greatest masterpiece from our time so long ago." Her eyes narrowed as her mouth formed into a slasher smile. "You know exactly which moment I'm referring to, right?"

Indeed... Thomas, without answering and his head lowered a bit with a shadow over his eyes, did know what Driote was referring to. The thought of it, combined with what happened in the short period of time regarding Driote, allowed an aura of darkness to surround him.

"Thomas?" whispered Skiff, sounding quite worried.

When the dark aura finally faded, Thomas, or rather Anakin, raised his head up; there was great anger and hate in his eyes.
