..

Thanks for the reviews, fav, and follow.

Nightraethingzz: Thank you (blush). I like the format of the last chapter. I wished that I could write most of my chapters that way. Willow and Cyborg are my favorite couple to write because they have a light-hearted relationship. Smh at Retra and Gar. Rachael and Dick will get it together soon.

Mal: Thanks :)! This chapter will answer your question. Goth is a small part of Raven's problem, but fits in the large picture. Don't worry, they are working things out.

Jitvaugh: You are the reason why I'm going to take a break….from the angst. When I started this story, it wasn't supposed to have this much angst. So, for the next 3-5 chapters (definitely 3 chapters) Nightwing and Raven will have a nice romance. This will allow me to focus on Slade, hopefully, and other things that I wasn't able to. Also, thanks to God for good memories, because I agree there is a lot of mystery. And there are few more to come. But I will start wrapping it up after the 3-5 chapters.

Everyone: Stay safe and be healthy. Enjoy. :)

Sorry for the grammar.

Repairing

"Rise and shine."

Garfield blinked his eyes open. When they were fully opened, he saw Retra's face above his. She was sitting on his waist.

"What time is it?"

"Ten o'clock." She answered.

He groaned and covered his eyes with his arm. He didn't like to wake up before noon unless there was an emergency.

"Oh, no, you don't." Retra said, pulling his arm from his face. "Breakfast is ready, and we need to leave in thirty minutes."

"Leave for what? Why aren't you at work?"

"I took today off. And you would see where we need to go if you get up."

"I don't want to." He rolled over to his side, causing her to move off of him.

"If you don't get up, I'm going to bite you." He ignored her and pulled the covers over his head. "Fine, don't say I didn't warn you."

"Ouch!" He sat up immediately, holding his neck. "What? Are you a vampire now?"

"I warned you. Now, get up and get ready. You can have your breakfast on the way."

"I should bite you back." He threw the covers off him and headed to the bathroom.

"If you turned into a mosquito and bite me, that will be the last thing you turn into."

"Good morning to you, too, bae." He went into the bathroom and slammed the door. He wasn't upset. He was just tired. He didn't get home until late this morning. The team spent most of the night chasing a villain. He had planned on sleeping in until it was time to go to the radio station, but Retra had changed that by waking him up.

Retra and he had been in a better place since their talk last week. They hadn't talked about the affair, but they had been spending more time together and planning the wedding. Everything was returning back to normal.

A couple of minutes later, he emerged from the bathroom, halfway ready to go. He went to the empty bedroom to grab some clothes.

"Where are we going?" He yelled out. He was looking in the closet, trying to figure out what to wear.

"Just put on some shorts and a T-shirt. Oh, grab a hat as well." He did as she said. He was almost finished dressing when she shouted, "Don't forget to put on underwear."

He looked down and pulled on the waist of his shorts. He forgot his underwear. He quickly stripped off his short and grabbed his brief from the drawer. A few minutes later, he walked into the living where Retra was watching TV.

"Ready?" She asked. He nodded. "Let's go." She stood up and headed to the door. However, she quickly turned around to grab a cup. "I'm almost forgot your breakfast. One vegan protein drink."

"Thanks," he said, taking the cup.

…..

"If I hadn't already proposed to you, I would do it again now."

Retra giggled. "I would have said 'yes' this time instead of making you wait for months."

"You are worth the wait."

"You are too." She turned and kissed him.

"Hmm…. Do you want to ride again?" They broke off the kiss and faced the amusement park worker.

"Yes." Gar said.

"Wait." Retra said before he could close the door. "Two more rounds." The man nodded and closed the door.

"How did you manage to close the park for a half of day?" Gar asked as the ride started again. They had spent most of the afternoon on rides and eating food. They currently were eating cotton candy in their hands while on the ferris wheel.

"Well, let just say, I know someone who owes me a very big favor. I also cried and told them that I needed to do something big for my fiancé since I missed his birthday by a month."

He raised an eyebrow. "Somebody I know?"

"Not someone as important as you." She kissed again him, making him forget about his next question.

He pulled back. "Do you think that we will get in trouble for having sex on a ferris wheel?"

"Only one way to find out." They dropped their food to the floor, and she sat on his lap.

I wonder if it is lonely in Lab 52A.

Victor had stopped counting the number of emails that he received. He wished the person would say what they wanted.

"Is this all the information?" Vic closed the email in his system and focus on the detectives in front of him. They were the investigators of the CTO's death. He thought they were useless compared to other detectives that could have been on the case.

"Yes, that's all." Vic lied. It was most of the information that Willow and him were able to recover. The data that was behind the wall still needed to be analyzed.

"Well, if you discover anything else, please let us know." They stood to shake hands across the desk.

"No problem. I'm here to help. Are there anymore leads related to the case?"

"Only the one you just gave us." The younger detective said.

"If we did have a lead, we couldn't tell you." The older detective scolded the younger one with his eyes.

"I understand." Vic said with a smile. He really didn't like these detectives.

"I'll be sending our IT guy to check things out." The older guy said. "I'm sure you understand." They tried to dictate situations.

"Call me and I'll set up a desk for them."

The older detective turned then turned back around. "Also, I heard you have a new CTO."

"Yes. She's been an asset to the company so far."

"I heard a rumor that you two were dating." They were distasteful.

"Sorry, I haven't heard that rumor."

"Sure, you haven't." The younger detective added.

"Do you mind if we stop by and talk to your new girlfriend? I meant, CTO." The older one spoke.

"The new CTO isn't in the office today. She's on a business trip." Amy walked into the room with a stack of a paper. "If you want, I can schedule you to have an appointment with her when she returns."

"That would be lovely, Ms. Wen." The officers smiled at her.

"If you guys don't mind, Mr. Stone has paperwork that he needs to complete. If he doesn't, I'll have to do over time."

"We can't have a pretty lady like you working hard." They were sleazy.

Amy smiled and said, "Good-bye gentlemen."

They smiled back. "Good-bye, Ms. Wen. Mr. Stone"

Amy closed the office door behind them. She pushed a few buttons on her phone, and the TV in his office appeared, showing the cops' movements.

"I hate them." She commented, watching them look around as they strolled to the elevator.

"Yeah, me too. There's no paperwork, is there?" The cops finally got on the elevator.

"No, I was tired of hearing their voices." They fist bumped. "But you do have a meeting with CFO in the conference room."

"Now?" He thought the appointment was later.

"In an hour. Snack break?" They looked at each other.

Snack break was a special moment for them. They would order food and watch football highlights. They did it during a stressful day or when they had free time.

"Snack break."

"Pizza or sandwiches?"

"Both." Amy nodded and went to grab the phone on his desk. He smiled. He was happy that he had someone to watch his back at the office, on his team, and a partner to love. Life was perfect, minus the cops.

Nightwing was laughing and eating pizza when Victor walked backed into his office.

"Please, don't tell me that was the last slice." Nigthwing turned along with Amy to see Victor.

"The second to the last." Nightwing answered. "You know, Amy wouldn't let me take the last slice from you."

He gave Amy a charming smile. She had been great company while he waited for Victor to return to his office. He had needed the laughs that she provided. It helped remove some of the tension that he was feeling in his body.

Vic snorted. "I don't believe that. Amy would do anything for you as long as you smile at her." He grabbed the last slice before sitting in the chair behind his desk.

"That's because he's my favorite superhero, unlike the one that I work with." She confessed.

"Just remember who is paying for your salary."

"How can I forget? It's the only reason why I pretend to be nice to you."

"It's okay. I pretend too."

"You can fire me if you don't like me?"

Victor chuckled. "And have you sued me for my company. I think not."

"You think, I would do that?"

"Yes." Cyborg answered. Nightwing smiled at their bickering. They fought and helped each other like siblings.

After a few more moments of going back and forth, Amy said, "I'm going to leave soon. I have a sexy date. Do you need something else?"

"Yes, the name of the guy that you are seeing."

"So, you don't." She stood from the chair that she was sitting in. "I'll see you tomorrow."

"I'm going to find out who this mystery guy is."

"I doubt you could. Remember, I do everything for you." She turned to face Nightwing. "Stop by the office sometimes. It's nice to see your face."

"I can't promise that I can, but it was good to see your face today." Amy smiled at Nightwing's words before walking out.

"I need a new secretary."

Nightwing chuckled. "You could never replace Amy."

"No, but I can try. What brings you here?"

"I was in the neighborhood and thought that we could go the Tower together for guy's night."

Cyborg raised an eyebrow. "You were in the neighborhood? In your Nightwing's outfit?"

"Yup." He answered with a smile. "Just swinging by."

He stared at him for a second. "We can ride together. I need a minute or two to finish up this report."

"No problem. Take your time." Cyborg nodded and turned to his computer as Nightwing turned to the thoughts inside of his head.

Goth's words bothered him. I should be the one hunting her down. What I saw scar me for life.

Was what Goth told him true? Or, was it something that he lied about? The story was probably true since it was Raven that they were talking about.

"Yo, man, are you good?"

Nightwing snapped out of his thought to see Cyborg standing over him. "Yeah, I'm good."

Vic gave him a look that said he didn't believe him. "Let's go home."

…..

"So, are you going to tell me why you came by the office today, or are we going to continue to talk about a pop group that neither of us care about?"

Nightwing shifted anxiously in the car. He had stopped by Cyborg's office for a reason, but he wasn't comfortable about bringing it up.

"Amy told me that the polices stopped about by today."

"We're changing the topic to something else. Okay. Yeah, they did. I handed them the drive. We made small talk before Amy kicked them out. There weren't any problems. They are sending an IT guy later on to check everything out."

"I see. How does Willow feel about having no sex?"

Cyborg swerved the car a little. When it straightened back up, Cyborg looked at him with narrowed eyes.

"Hey, eyes on the road." He yelled at Cyborg while looking at the road and vehicles on it.

"Car, autopilot."

"Autopilot engaged." The car confirmed.

"I'll give you five seconds to explain why you asked that question."

"Sorry, it came out wrong. But…" He sighed and started again. "So, you know the delivery girl from poker night." Cyborg nodded. "We started dating. And…"

He glanced outside of the window. This was awkward. He never talked about sex with Cyborg for many reasons. Now that he was, it was awkward because it concerned Raven.

"Let me guess," Cyborg said. "You tried to take it to the next level, and she said no. Is she waiting for marriage or something?"

Nightwing shifted in his seat again. "She said that sex was off the table indefinitely."

"Oh. You've tried talking with her about it?"

"I tried, but she kinda disappeared from my bed after saying that. She has been ghosting me ever since. So, I went to have a talk with her ex."

"Bold move. How did that go?"

He sighed again. "I don't know what she ever saw him in. He's weak and…sorry, off topic. Basically, it sounds like she really can't have sex." They were silence for a second. "So, I was wondering…?"

"If you can handle not having sex?"

He nodded. "I know, this is a sensitive topic for you, but I didn't know who else to ask."

He gave him a serious look. "If you love her, your hands should be enough."

He rubbed his hand down his face. "I know, but the longest that I have been celibate was a year and that was due to back-to-back missions and not having a steady partner at that time. My track record with females and sex isn't that great. I can easily say that I can handle not having sex when everything is going good in my life. However, it's the moments of weakness that I'm worried about. I had used sex to escape from my problems before. I can't say that I won't do it again. And I can't hurt her like that."

"Then let her go if you're not sure. It's better to break it off now."

"That's not an option. I can't see my life where we aren't together."

"You really like her.

"No, I really love her. So, can you ask Willow for me about how she feel and deals with it?"

"First, no. Second…" Cyborg drummed his fingers on the steering wheel. "…Look, if you tell anyone this, especially Changeling or Amy, I'll kill you." Nightwing nodded. "I… I have a build-in dildo down there." Nightwing's eyes traveled downwards. "Don't look!"

"Sorry." He looked back up, but he had so many questions.

"That's awkward. Don't look at another guy's junk."

"I said sorry."

"Still…." They were silent for a moment until Cyborg talked again. "Most of the females that I've dated always seem okay with not having sex. But when I mention my little addition and we have sex, the first words that they mentioned were 'I'm glad that we are able to do this.'" He was looking outside in front of them.

"How did that make you feel?"

"Missing. I felt that I was missing something with them the whole time that we were dating. There was a connection that I couldn't connect with them because I couldn't have sex with them like a normal person. Then I wonder if I am enough for them as a man, in a cyborg body."

That was harsh. He had experienced what it was like to not be enough as a partner, and as an adopted son, as a hero. However, never as a man. He didn't want to experience it either. "How did you get over it?"

"I built the best dildo in the world to make them forget about regular penises." Dick laughed and Cyborg joined him.

After the laughter died down, he spoke again. "Seriously, I haven't. I learned to push my insecurities aside and tried to be confident. However, what helps is having an understanding partner who makes you feel like you are everything to them. So, if you don't think you can handle it, leave her alone. The worst thing is to give someone hope, and they discover that it was a lie."

Nightwing nodded, more unsure about what to do next. He loved Raven, but he had loved Starfire too, yet he still cheated on her due to his personal issues. He couldn't do that with Raven. He had so many questions that he needed to ask himself, but first he had questions for Cyborg.

"So, about that built-in dildo…"

Cyborg groaned.

She laid naked under Goth, only wearing a small blush on her face.

She couldn't say that she was in love, but she felt herself going that direction with him. They had been seeing each other steady for a while now, and she wanted to take their relationship to the next level.

"Get ready." He said. "I'm going in."

She closed her eyes anticipation as she felt him at her entrance. When she felt nothing, she opened her eyes. What she saw scared her.

Goth was over her clawing at his red, cloudy eyes and heart. Whispering words in silent. Displaying a horrible expression on his face.

"Goth!" She sat up and touched his face.

"No!" He shouted, pulling back from her and falling off the bed. He positioned himself into a ball. "Don't eat me. Please, don't eat me." He was sobbing.

She touched him again, hoping to calm him down. Yet, what she saw scared her. What she did scared her.

She was before her father on the large hand in the underground library. "You, weakling." Her father laughed. "You dare to touch my gem in such a manner."

"Where am I?" She was scared as she looked around. "Where's Raven?"

"My daughter-" She fell down backward, seeing a demon coming out of the shadow. "-is probably laying in your bed like a trollop."

"Your…your… daughter?" She stuttered, trying to get away.

He laughed. "Foolish human, don't you know what you are laying with." She shook her head, not really understanding what was going on. "Your lust and ignorance of my daughter shall be the death of you. I find you unworthy to touch the gem. The price of your offense is your life."

He grabbed her as she kicked, screamed and cried. "You shall be my meal."

"Goth." He felt something touch his face, and he was brought back to reality.

Raven was pushed on the floor. "Get away from me, you demon. Get away."

She tried to reach out to him again, but he started to throw things at her. When there wasn't anything else to throw, he used his finger to create a cross. "Demon, go away. Go away." He sobbed.

Before the tears in her eyes could fall, she created a portal to go back to her room. There, she used the sheets on her bed to cover her naked body.

Tears from different emotions fell. Anger: for her father's influence over her life. Shame: for what she was. Sadness: for loss of the one thing she wanted- the ability to create her own family. Loneliness: for the truth - without the Titans, she would always be alone in the world.

"You never told me." Mari said on the couch beside her. She had finally gotten her to talk about the night she came home crying.

"It's not something that I want to remember." Rachael said, staring at her feet from over her knees.

Mari nodded. "Don't worry. You aren't messing anything. Dick is overrated." She wrapped her arms around Raven and pulled her closer.

"Yet, you slept with our roommate."

"I was bored."

"You were bored a lot."

"I'm trying to make you feel better."

"Lying is not really working."

"It's beats you crying."

Silence.

"He took everything away from me." Rachael said. "My emotions, my childhood, my mother, my home, and even my future."

"I didn't know that you wanted kids. You always said you hated them."

Tears fell down her eyes. "Because I can't have them."

"That's stupid."

"It's how I cope with it."

"That wasn't how you dealt with your feelings for Robin when you were younger, from what your emoticlones told me."

"You talk with them too much. But Nightwing was always different. Even back then."

"Have you ever thought he would be different this time too?"

Rachael shook her head. "I can't risk it. I'm still not sure how I pull Goth out."

"He went to hell and back for you. You should at least let him decide."

"He's always looking out for me. I can't depend on him all the time."

"Well, I'm not going to complain about your choice. We can focus on Slade now."

"When are you not focusing on Slade?"

"When I thought he was – Great. This what happens when you speak of people." Mari disappeared into the mirror when Rachael heard the sound of a window opening.

She turned around to see Nightwing coming through.

"I hope you don't mind if I use the window. You've been avoiding my calls. I figured that you wouldn't answer the door." He was right. She wouldn't have.

"We need to talk." He walked to her, pulling off his mask. He sat in the spot that Mari left and faced her. She stared back, curious and afraid at what he had to say.

"I talked with Goth." Her eyes widened at his statement. "I know what happened. I understand now. Although, I'm not sure with to do with the information. I'm not sure if I can live without sex. However, I'm willing to try for you. Because I know for sure that I'm not ready to end this with you. I said earlier that we'll take things one day at a time. As long as we get through today, we'll make it until tomorrow. And from tomorrow, the next day. And from the next day until we grow old. So, are you willing to try and make it to the next day with me?"

"Once," she said. "Let's try it once." She was with him again, willing to take another chance.
