Summary/disclaimer: time for another chapter of legendary Eyes. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto and a few others do.
Sarada hummed and set down Arata next to the cavern entrance. Arata sighed and rolled his eyes while he cracked his neck. Arata looked at Sarada and then looked at the floor.
"Should I point out how we're going to have to deal with that last fabrication sooner or later?" Arata asked his friend and looked up at the ceiling.
Arata knew it would be a while before he was able to fight again. He was way too tired and way too injured to stand up, much less put up resistance to Sarada at the moment.
"And you're going to get killed if you try and fight the last in in this condition." Sarada put in while taking off her glasses to rub at them.
"Hasn't seemed to stop me much since then." Arata responded as he cracked his neck. He felt his body slowly but surely starting to piece itself back together.
It wouldn't take more then a few hours or so to get back up. Arata knew Sarada wouldn't allow him to go and go and fight.
"You're going to get yourself killed at this rate." Sarada stated while Arata hummed and rolled his eyes. "Your too damn persistent for your own good when it comes to this, aren't you?" Sarada asked Arata who could only hum. He looked at the Uchiha girl and let out a sigh.
"Yes, he has to be stopped." Arata said before rubbing at the bruises on his face. "If he's as strong as the 2 or so I took down? Then he's not going down easy." Arata added and looked around the cavern while brushing at his chin. He sighed and closed his eyes.
"We're take him down, Arata." Sarada stated while Arata looked at her and sighed.
"I don't really think your understanding how dangerous this guy is." Arata responded and raised his eyebrows at Sarada. "These guys aren't human, Sarada. Their faster, stronger, and they WILL murder you if you stop for even a second." Arata said and started taking deep breathes.
"I've already killed one of them." Sarada stated to which Arata hummed and blinked.
"And yet Inojin wonders why I'm scared of you…" Arata whispered under his breath, hoping beyond all shadow of a doubt that Sarada didn't hear it at all.
Arata had fought many beings across the stars. But Sarada? He would rather face his entire clan alone then deal with the angry Uchiha in one on one combat.
"Stay here and rest." Sarada said before turning and walking as Arata sighed and nodded. There wasn't really anything he could do or say to get the Uchiha to back down.
Plus, if there was one of them? Arata guessed the fabrication could be defeated if they fought as a team. He had fought and taken down 2.
Combined with Sarada? That made 3, and if Mitsuki and Inojin managed to take down the one who made clay weapons? 4. A single one of them shouldn't be an issue he supposed.
"You really think I have a choice?" Arata asked as he gestured down at his legs. Arata chuckled and cleared his throat. He hummed.
Arata watched Sarada leave with Boruto. He rolled his eyes at the duo, but said nothing. Arata knew for a fact that his body was wracked with enough pain to cripple someone into a coma.
He was not a regular person, however… And neither was the fabrications, Arata started to get up. Arata was answered by his legs failing him and forcing him to fall to the ground.
"Great, one of the most powerful members of the Otsutsuki clan and I can't even stand up…" Arata muttered to himself while feebly pulling himself to the other wall.
"If they knew how strong the Rinnegan made me… What I could do?" Arata asked himself and rubbed at his head. "Should I also point out that I had to lie to her? Great job, Arata. You make one damn true friend, and then you lie to them because your afraid they wont trust you. Way to go." Arata said and leaned himself on a rock.
Arata knew for a fact that he had to do something, or at least part of him felt like he had to do something. The other part wanted to put his mind at ease and allow the others to deal with this.
Arata sighed, he had no real idea what to do. His mind felt like mush. He couldn't feel his head, he couldn't feel much of anything.
"I really hate this crap." Arata stated as he focused on what to do next. Arata did know one thing.
The sooner the last Fabrication fell? The sooner they could get back to Konoha… Where Arata's dream of being a Shinobi were going to die.
He rubbed at his temples once more.
