The hours of the day ticked on while Sabrina was in her office planning a schedule that would help her keep on top of her workload.
Pinning the large sheet of paper to her wall she looked at all the dates and deadlines marked on the calendar. While it would be handwork she knew it could be done.
Looking at the clock on the back wall she hurried to grab her jacket. Running into her car, she headed for the high school.
"Well, I just pulled together the last remaining fragments of my life," she announced walking into Alaric's classroom.
"I'm guessing it all went okay?" Damon asked sat near the window.
"Job reinstated and the newest member of the town council," she grinned. "So where are we on this plan?" she looked around the room at Elena, Caroline and Alaric.
"Damon is gonna keep Rebekah busy, to get her away from Stefan," Elena answered.
"Sorry I'm late. What's going on?" Tyler queried walking in through the open door.
"We need you to raid your mom's vervain supply. Enough to keep Stefan down for a while." Elena's instruction was met with a questionable look from Tyler
"You can't do that to Stefan," he replied as Sabrina turned to face the hybrid.
"Why not?" Caroline asked a little thrown off by his response.
"Trust me, Tyler, it's in his best interest," Elena reaffirmed.
"Yeah. It's not in Klaus's."
Looks of confusion were exchanged as Caroline tried to reason with her boyfriend. "But Klaus is the bad guy, Tyler. You know, why are you acting like some freaky, hybrid, slave minion."
"Uh-oh." Damon got up from leaning against the window
"What?" Alaric asked as Damon looked suspiciously at Tyler.
"Klaus made me who I am, Caroline. I owe him everything."
"Oh, boy."
"Okay, can we cool it on the commentary, please." Caroline turned to look at the group behind her after Damon's muttering.
"What is going on?" Elena added wanting clarity.
Damon subtly grabbed a vervain dart off Alaric's desk as the rest of the room still couldn't wrap their heads around why Tyler didn't want this plan to happen.
"I'm just going to go," Tyler said sensing the change in the atmosphere.
Turning around to head for the door, he was stopped by Damon who sped up behind him, injecting him with the vervain.
"What are you doing?!" the blonde vampire cried out as Tyler collapsed onto the floor.
"He's been sired."
"And to us none vampire folk that is?" Sabrina asked Damon.
"He feels loyal to Klaus because Klaus's blood created him."
"Loyal how?" Elena questioned.
"He'll seek acceptance from his master. It's really rare. But maybe not so much in hybrids."
"So how do I fix him?" Caroline asked innocently.
"Get a new boyfriend." Sabrina sighed at the bluntness of Damon's tone.

Alaric and Sabrina were left alone in the class room when everyone left to get on with their role in the plan. They prepped for their entrance which involved Alaric's weapons.
"Congrats on the new role," Alaric said passing her his dart gun.
"Thanks. Uh...Carol said something about you speaking to her."
"Yeah I told you I'd explain everything to her so you didn't have to."
"No, I meant about being a representative on the council," she explained. "Protecting the people of the town, having their interest in mind, looking after ourselves."
She watched Alaric lower the stake in his hand. "I think it's the right thing to do, considering all we've been through," she added
"Yeah well," he began as he cleared his throat. "Come on, we've got a vampire to trap."
The pair made their way to the bleachers outside the football pitch. They watched for a moment as Stefan gently lowered Elena out of his arms. Sabrina aimed the crossbow at Stefan who had his back to them. Once Elena was stood without support she hit release twice as two vervain laced projectiles hit Stefan in the back.
As he toppled over onto the ground Alaric and Sabrina came into Elena's view.
"Out of 10, how would you rate that?" she asked with a smug expression
"7.5 point 8 maybe," Alaric replied as Sabrina lowered the weapon.
She smiled to herself as they walked over to Elena.
"You okay?" Alaric asked her.
"Yeah. I'm...Fine," Elena replied between breaths.
"You look like me when I've had too much to drink."
"Define 'too much'," Sabrina heard Alaric mumble.
"The plan worked. That's all that matters. Let's just get him out of here." Elena told them.
Alaric lifted Stefan's body as the three made their way to the car park. The girls opened the back of Alaric's car as he placed Stefan's unconscious body into the trunk.
Elena walked into the front seat while Sarina headed to the direction of her own vehicle.
"I see all the geniuses came out to the bonfire tonight," She heard Alaric groan at the sound of something hitting the ground.
Sabrina's attention was back to opening her card until an orange tint caught her peripheral vision. Her head did a double take as she saw flames run towards the direction of his car.
"Alaric!" she yelled out.
Watching the fire trail up he frantically tried to open the door to his car.
"Elena! Elena!" Not being able to open the driver's side he made his way over to the passage side and pulled on the door as the fire began burning the right side. "Open the door!"
Pulling her attention away from the disaster, Sabrina hurried to the back of her car. Opening the door, she pulled out a crowbar. Running over to Alaric's car, charging at it in the hopes of breaking the window.
Just as Sabrina was about to hit the window she instantly took a step back as the fire grew stronger, blocking off access to the window.
"We can't just stand here!" she cried out as Alaric held her back.
"We also can't get any closer!"
The two turn at the sound of the trunk flying off. Dropping the crowbar, they run over to the back of the car.
"Hurry up before it blows!" Alaric instructed Elena as she crawled out the back. Sabrina held on to her, giving her support and lead her away
"Wait! Wait, wait, wait!" she called out as she dragged Sabrina back and began pulling Stefan out, letting go once Alaric had a hold of him. The four rushed away, holding on to each other as the car exploded in the background.

Unfortunately, Alaric's car was a wreck and unsalvageable after the fire. Sabrina stood waiting downstairs of the boarding house ready to take Alaric and Elena home after dropping Stefan off.
"It's okay if you want to be friends with Damon again." Elena's voice called out along the corridor perking up her attention.
"I don't," Alaric replied as Sabrina joined them.
"I think he kind of misses you."
Their stride came to a halt when Stefan walked out of the living room "Well you got me tonight. Definitely wasn't expecting that."
"I believe that was the point." Sabrina crossed her arms as he stood in front of them.
"Yeah. You know, you can hate it all you want, but Elena needs me." He looked between Sabrina and Alaric. "I'll always protect her. I think you're all better off having me around."
Elena turned and ushered Alaric and Sabrina to go to the door, the two followed with Elena began walking behind them.
"Elena, wait," Stefan called as she turned back around. "You could have let me die in that fire tonight. Why didn't you?"
"Because I still have hope."
"After everything I've done, you...You still think I'll be able to find my humanity again?" he questioned.
Elena nodded. "Yes, I do. I know who you really are better than anyone, Stefan." She took a few more steps before standing right in front of him. "And I'm not giving up."
"Elena, do you have any idea how pathetic that makes you?" he asked in a low whisper.
"No, Stefan, it makes me strong." Elena caught him off guard, using it to her advantage she punched two stakes into him.
Once again Stefan fell to the floor in pain. Elena took of the sleeve attachment, handing it over to Sabrina as she walks past the two Gilbert residents.
"If you rate that anything above a 7, I'm calling you out on favouritism," Sabrina teased turning to Alaric who had a smile on his face as they followed Elena out the door.
