Y"ou're already in a gang?" He asked smirking at his wife. "no. I'm pregnant." She said staring into her husband's eyes. The shocked silence that followed was deafening. "What?" He said looking from her stomach to her face. "estoy embarazada." She said quietly.
The man grinned and picked her up spinning her around. Alexi clapped and hollered as her brother and Noa started making out. Her smile slid off her face when Happy came out on the back porch looking for her. She carefully slid off the other side of the rail and went around the house.
Just then Gomes pulled up to the curb and hopped out along with Fiasco and Chaos. They all looked worried. "You're covered in blood." Gomes said looking her over. She touched her face and frowned. "I'm fine." Chaos stepped forward his hands in his pockets. "Heard you got kidnapped by the niners." She shrugged and nodded sticking her hands in her sweatpants pockets.
"It happened." Gomes shook his head and hugged her. "Glad you're okay." Alexi stood stiffly in the man's embrace. "Its cool. Chel, Noa, and me dropped the guys who did it." The men grinned at her.
"Finally doing the shooting and not getting shot? That's a step up." Chaos said making Alexi laugh and shake her head. "Too soon, mano." They all laughed and Alexi leaned into Gomes.
"So did you hear the other big news?" She asked looking at the men as Gomes tucked a loose arm around her neck. "Nah, what is it?" Fiasco asked lighting a cigarette. "I'm pregnant." The cigarette fell from Fiasco's lips as he stared open mouthed at poher.
a! "Twins." She said grinning at the stupid expression on Fiasco's face. Gomes shook his head and she looked over to Chaos who was smiling. "You guys owe me two stacks." He said laughing at the men. Alexi rolled her eyes at the dumb ass.
Chaos crouched and looked at her from the side. "I can fucking see it! I knew something was up. Look at that bump." He said poking the green eyed girl's stomach.
Gomes and Fiasco joined Chaos. they looked at her stomach then each man poked it. Alexi snorted and swatted at their hands.
"Fucking fools. Stop." She said laughing as she crossed her arms over her stomach and turned away. "Alexi." Happy's deep voice from behind her made the girl frown and roll her eyes. "I need to jet. Hit me up later." She said hugging the men. They nodded as looked over her shoulder at Happy then back to her with raised eyebrows.
She walked past Happy, dipping away from as he reached for her arm. She had left her bag and clothes in the house. The tall woman quickly walked past her mother to the kids room where her stuff was.
If he followed her in there she was going to go out the fucking window, she reasoned with herself. Just as she expected Happy came in after her. shutting the door behind him. she already had her stuff in her hands and was at the window when he said her name again.
"What are you going to make me walk home? I've got a truck don't worry about your fucking bike." She snapped opening the window. Happy was by her side in a second towering over her. "Quit your fucking shit." He growled grabbing her arm. She jerked it away from him snarling.
"Will you fucking stop manhandling me?" She pushed him away from her but he didn't budge. "You and my fucking mother both of you." She shook head and tried to move around him. He moved with her holding her to him.
"Like you're already on my fucking ass. Seriously, what I was doing on nineteenth street? What other reason would I be there? have I ever gone over there willingly? And You!" She exclaimed as jabbed him in the chest with her finger. "Are you serious? I can already see your mind going a million miles a minute. I've been okay for the past five months. don't start coddling me. Not letting me ride your bike. Really? You were just going to leave me there!" She threw her arms up in the air angrily.
Happy was smirking at her. "What the fuck are you smirking about?" She growled pushing him away from her. Happy just stood where he was without the smirk on his face.
"Stop pushing me Alexi." He growled pulling her against him. She struggled away snarling. "Do I look like a fucking doll you can just fucking toss around?" She snapped rolling her shoulders. "Whatever. you got what you wanted right? Leave me alone." She said turning away from him and going back to the window. She had her leg sticking out of it when her husband pulled her back in the room.
"What's your fucking problem Lex? You're freaking out for no reason." He said turning them so he was blocking the window.
"Haven't you listened to a damn thing I said? Seriously? I told you already. Not to mention I'm fucking tired, covered in blood and puke. OH AND I WAS FUCKING KIDNAPPED TOO!" She shouted at him throwing her hands up in the air.
"I think I'm allowed to be irritated not to mention you and ma ganging up on me. I'm supposed to be fucking ecstatic instead I'm fucking miserable because I get fuckin bitched at about stupid fucking shit. That's my goddamn problem. I'm going home have fun sucking up to my fucking mother." Alexi growled storming away from him. He followed her and shut the door as soon as she opened it.
"Mamas Just calm down alright? Go shower take a nap and I'll drive you home. Okay?" He said turning her to look at him. She frowned and shook her head. "I just want to go home, alright?" She said rubbing her hands over her face. Happy sighed and nodded.
"I'm just trying to protect you mamas." Alexi sighed and nodded. "I know papas. I do. but don't lose your mind about shit. You can't protect me from everything and I know you're going to try." His wife said with a slight smile. Happy nodded seriously. "Damn right, mamas. I need to talk to Chel and Marc about you working up here. We're going to have to talk about your classes too, you know." His girl sighed loudly and nodded.
"Later when we get home." The husband nodded and opened the door holding it for Alexi as she walked about.
"Papa, we're heading out." The man nodded and hugged her tightly. "Say goodbye to your mother. Love you Lex. Let us know when you get home." the brunette nodded and walked back into the living room where her mother most likely was. She was sitting on the couch with a photo album open in her lap.
"Mama I'm sorry." The brunette said sitting beside her mother and kissing her cheek. "I never knew what to do with you Sayda. You're so different. I'm sorry I upset you." Her mother said as a couple tears slid down her cheeks.
Alexi frowned and hugged her mother tightly. "Mama don't cry. You did upset me but I reacted the wrong way and I'm sorry." Her mother held her and kissed her head. "I love you more than anything in the world Sayda. I hope you know that. I did what I did because it was the best for you. I couldn't bare to think of losing you to the violence around here." Alexi shook her head resting it on her mother's shoulders.
"Mama I don't fault you for that. I'm glad you did. I have a whole other family who always has my back. I'm lucky to have what I have and I thank you for that." Her mother smiled at her and rubbed her back. "I'm so happy to hear that Lexi." The green eyed brunette sighed and kissed her mothers cheek.
"I'm going to go home. Hap's going to drive me. I need a nap." Her mother laughed and nodded to her youngest daughter. "So do I, call me when you get home." She said standing. Alexi got to her feet as well just as Happy came into the room.
