Elsa and Liry stood on the shore, facing the raging water before them, Elsa was readying herself to face whatever danger lied ahead.

Liry wasn't too sure if her rider should even consider walking across the water, but Elsa had insisted she do this part herself.

Elsa began taking her shoulder pads and coat off. Liry cooed her rider, hoping to get her to change her mind.

"Liry, I need to do this myself. If I am ever going to find the truth, than this is how I am going to do it." Elsa pulled her braid out and tied it up into a ponytail while scratching her dragon's bed to calm her down.

Liry nodded a she respects her wishes and Elsa ran forward as Liry took off into the air, ready to help if something went wron. Elsa stepped onto the water and ice platforms formed under feet.

A wave barreled towards her as she tried to run over it, but got knocked he back and Liry dived into the water to save her.

-

Elsa stood on the beach again, completely drenched and ready to run out onto the water again as Liry was shaking the water off herself. She shook herself off and ran onto the water again, sliding over it on the ice platforms trying to get over the waves.

Elsa jumped into an oncoming wave and scaled a rock not far of the shore as another larger wave roared towards her. She stood atop a rock, slid down it on an ice slide as Liry was flying above her, making sure she was alright.

Elsa ran across the water at full speed, looking up at another wave with determination she blasted at it.

Ice shot up against the wave and the water stopped flowing only enough for Elsa to run halfway up the wave until it collapsed onto her.

Elsa crashed into the water, Liry flew above where she landed in the water and tried to find her rider.

Elsa rolled around in the water as looked around and began swimming to the surface.

Lightning flashed before her as a horse made of water reared back forcing the Queen to tread water.

Elsa waved her hand in front of her and the horse glared at her before disappearing. She watched the spirit flow past her just as she ran out of air and began wading back up to the surface.

She broke the surface and Liry sighed in relief, her rider was alright ut very wet.

Elsa looked below her while being thrown about by the waves and saw the Nokk swimming up to her, she made an ice raft and jumped onto it.

The Nokk rammed into the raft, knocking Elsa of it and into the water and Liry growled at the water horse.

Elsa resurfaced water, spilling out of her mouth, she turned to see the spirit ride a wave towards her.

The horse jumped out of the water and pushed Elsa down into the water, and she was propelled down into the depths of the ocean.

Elsa thrust her hands into the horse and froze it, the horse evaporated in a flurry of bubbles and Elsa swam back up to the surface and a worried Liry.

Breaking the surface once again, the Nokk threw Elsa into the air as the two of them started fighting, while Liry was struggling to keep up with the two magical beings as she can't enter the waters or shoot because she could hit Elsa instead of the horse.

The horse ran up a wave only for Elsa to throw a slab of ice onto it, Elsa was pushed underwater again and blasted a snowflake only for the Nokk to barge through it.

The Nokk pulled Elsa through the water with her head only just above the water's surface, Elsa spluttered as the horse continued to pull her along. She then threw a set of reins around the horses head made out of ice and flung herself onto the spirits back.

The Nokk bounced around the waves trying to shake Elsa of it's back, Liry was watching the exchange between the two of them with the intent on making sure her rider was safe. The horse soon calmed down and ran in a straight line, finally listening to Elsa as Liry flew down to the spirit and crooned.

The horse responded with a grunt and the dragon happily warbled, Elsa stroked the horse's watery mane and thank him.

Liry looked ahead of them and screeched at Elsa who looked forward to see a glacier glowing a subtle light blue.

"Of course. Glaciers are rivers of ice. Attahallan is frozen." Elsa realized as Liry crooned in agreement and the horse nodded.

Elsa heard the voice call out and gasped, this was where she was meant to be.

"I hear you, and I'm coming." Elsa leaned forward as the Nokk continued running towards the glacier with Liry close behind.

-

Hiccup was still being flown by the Sentinels as Windshear and Toothless try to shoot them down. He was able to get free of in Sentinel, but another caught him and they kept flying towards the end of the island.

Hiccup was thrown from the Sentinel's claws and down onto a hard stone path when the others flew up to him.

"Ah, hey!" Hiccup sat up and saw the Sentinels circle around him, bowing their heads.

"Hiccup! Are you okay?" Heather asks as she landed next to him.

"Well, that was a nice flight. Why does this stuff always happen to us?" Hiccup crumbled while Heather was checking to see if anything was broken when he noticed the Sentinels.

"Hiccup, I am seriously regretting this whole trip in the first place." Toothless told Hiccup and continued ranting. "I mean, why we're you just being called now and not before?"

"Toothless, would quit winning and look behind you!" Hiccup shouted at his brother, the Night Fury turned to see the Sentinels bowing.

"What are they doing?" Heather shook her head, confused as to why they're doing this.

"That's what I was going to ask you guys." Hiccup picked up his sword and slid it back into the sheath.

"Do they want us to go somewhere?" Toothless watched as the stone dragons flew away and landed on pedestals, guarding the path.

They turned to see what they were leading towards, which happened to be the entrance to a cave digging down into a mountain.

There were a set of pillars with two dragon heads carved onto them sitting outside the entrance, and the whole place was covered in overgrown plants.

Hiccup heard the call of the Foreverwing again and his eyes began to glow again.

"I can hear him, he's calling me." Hiccup started to walk towards the cave, but Toothless stopped him.

"Wait, are you sure you want to find out what's down there?" Toothless looked at his brother with a slight bit of fear.

"Toothless, if I can hear my Grandfather's call, then that is where I am meant to be." Hiccup pushed past him and walked into the cave. "This is for me alone. Wait out here...and if this is it...thank you, both of you."

Heather walks up to him and pulls her friend into a hug, not wanting this to be the last they see of him.

Hiccup returned the hug, happy for everything that they've been through and accomplished together.

But this is his journey now. Nobody can take it for him.

"I can hear you, grandfather. And I'm finally ready." Hiccup told the call as it called again and he raced towards the entrance.

The dragon's and Heather watched as he vanished and wondered what would happen now.

Suddenly, she felt a prick on her neck and what she thought was an insect or something turned to be...a blow dart?

Just then, everything went dark.

-

Hiccup reached inside of the cave and saw overgrown plants in the area blocking the entrance. He used controlled heat to burn through them and then came across a river.

Taking a deep breath, Hiccup plunged into the water and swam through deep into the cave and starts to understand what this was.

It's a test for him.

For the Dragon Prince.

He reaches the other side of the water and crawls out to follow the pathway the Sentinels are lighting up further inside and he starts to walk towards his destiny.

"It's time." Hiccup whispers as he leaves the water and keeps going farther inside the cave.

-

"Every inch of me is trembling. But not from the cold." Elsa sang as she makes her way to Ahtohallan. "Something is familiar, like a dream I can reach but not quite hold."

The icebergs reflected the light coming from Ahtohallan surrounding it.

-

"I can sense you there, like a friend I've always known...I'm arriving, and it feels like I am home." Hiccup sang as he descended the stairs, looking at all the symbols on the walls as they lit up when he touched them and sees they're all about the Foreverwing.

-

"I have always been a fortress. Cold secrets deep inside." Elsa jumped off Nokk's back as Liry landed near her and the two of them looked up at the glacier and Elsa allowed her hair to flow.

-

"You have secrets, too. But you don't have to hide." Hiccup reached to the bottom of the stairs and looked down a tunnel, at the end, a forest green light danced across the walls followed by a Deathsongs amber wall he quickly melted.

-

"Show yourself. I'm dying to meet you." Elsa walked into the glacier looking up it's icy walls.

-

"Show your self. It's your turn." Hiccup continued to walk and with each step, the runic symbols carved into the floor lit up his way and they start to match his own symbols on his body.

-

"Are you the one I've been looking for all of my life? Show yourself. I'm ready to learn. Ah, ah, ah, ah!" Both sang in unison, suddenly the voice calling Elsa lit up a doorway behind her and Hiccup heard the Foreverwing call for him and the cavern lit up the forest, green.

They both began running, the magical beings smiling all the way.

-

"I've never felt so certain. All my life I've been torn!" Hiccup sang and he ran down the cavern, trailing his hand along the walls a green lights flowing through the crystal veins.

-

"But I'm here for a reason. Could it be the reason I was born?" Elsa slid down a slide as she followed the spirit.

-

"I have always been so different, normal rules did not apply." Both sang, on Elsa's side, she jumped off the slide and stepped onto an ice pillar she was making with each step, Liry flew right beside her and marvelled at her rider's capability.

On Hiccup's side, he climbed over tree branches and came to a largely denser area, as he felt his powers surge through him and he knew what to do.

-

"Is this the day? Are you the way I finally find out why?" Hiccup asked as he made it over the gap and saw the gifts that were left for the Foreverwing by the Northuldra.

-

"Show yourself! I'm no longer trembling!" Elsa pushed through a barrier of ice pillars, making an entrance for her to go through.

-

"Here I am! I've come so far!" Hiccup moved the plants out of the way for him to walk right through. "You are the answer I've waited for all of my life!"

-

"Oh, show yourself. Let me see who you are!" They both sang at once.

Elsa broke through a thin sheet of ice, she and Liry walked into an empty room.

-

Hiccup moved the reaming plants out of the way as he stepped into a large underground cavern, in the very center was the Foreverwing.

"Come to me now." Hiccup stepped forward as the ground beneath him lit up.

-

Some of the crystals twirled around Elsa in the form of Gale and then constructed a larger crystal.

"Open your door." A flurry of ice crystals circled around Elsa, representing Bruni and formed another crystal.

-

Hiccup could sense the Foreverwing as it was waking up to his presence and he readied himself for whatever may happen and looks over the oldest dragon and get back up.

"Don't make me wait one moment more!" Hiccup continued to walk up a ledge as pillars of stone erected themselves from the ground, forming a barrier to the path he was walking on.

-

More of the crystals swirled around Elsa, depicting Nokk as they fitted together.

"Oh, come to me now. Open your door. Don't make me wait one moment more!" They both sang, as Elsa pulled a set of four large ice crystals towards the floor and they fitted perfectly.

-

Hiccup saw there was a glowing stone suspended in a stream of light before him, and had a feeling he was meant to take it.

Taking a closer look, he sees the seven class of dragon's imprinted onto it along with the Night Fury center like his markings.

Elsa jumped into the centre of the crystals that had formed on the ice, as a white stream of light burst through the air.

Hiccup grabbed the stone, then his eyes and markings glowed a bright forest green as the whole cave lit up, revealing the size and mass of the great Foreverwing.

-

The stream of light expanded onto the walls of the glacier and reflected all of Elsa's memories and her mothers.

"Where the Northwind. Meets the sea. There's a river. Full of memory." The caves starts singing to the magical beings.

"Mother." Elsa whispers and sees it was her mother who was calling her here all along.

She turned to see her mother calling Gale and standing with a hand on her hip.

-

"Come my darlings homeward bound." Hiccup turned to see the Foreverwing rise and face it's Prince and Elsa turned to see a memory of her mother singing to her.

The Foreverwing's face was made out of wood with spots of moss all over, and branches that go out of the top and sides of his head and that go down his chin, which hovered in front of the entire cave.

Hiccup smiled at finally able to meet the dragon he's been fearing about meeting for years.

-

"I AM FOUND!" Both sang as the ground below them lit up and their clothing changed. "Show yourself! Step into your power! Grow yourself! Into something new!" Both sang, Elsa dress became longer and some of the crystals stitched themselves into the design.

Liry's body changed as well, her scales reflected each element and her fins grew longer as markings formed all over her.

-

Hiccup's armor shifted, almost becoming part of his body as his skin became more scaly, the Prince gets a real set of dragon ears that can understand human and dragons on his head, the stone in his hand shattered into water and became a part of his skin as the markings became a part of the back of each hand.

He feels something stretching from his fingers and noticed he's gaining claw like nails as his eyes turn into silts like a dragon.

-

"You are the one you've been waiting for...!" Attahallan and the Foreverwing sang together as their transformations completed.

"...All of my life!" Hiccup and Elsa finished their spirits thoughts.

"Oh, show yourself! Ah, ah, ah, ah!" They sang while looking at their new forms and couldn't believe what was happening to them.

"Ah, ah, ah, ah!" Attahallan and the Foreverwing called out together.

They have finally become who they were always meant to be.

"Ah, ah, ah, ah!" The magical beings finished.

Hiccup spread his arms wide as green flares flew from his hands and began to circle him as he has full control over every one of the flames.

Elsa pulled the memories from the walls of Attahallan and the clouds smashed into the floor.
