After Oliver addressed his friend things to not let himself become, latter unveils his feelings of abnormality.
Barry hooks his friend with a device, worn by Cisco before. A device that zaps his head off, rendering his mind conscious in a different world, focusing on longitudinal waves that lay hold of him, whilst the wielder follows under Barry's explicit instructions, so he wouldn't launch his own death sentence.
Oliver can feel it. His mind separating from his body. A gateway to another reality. Current gravitational forces make their way in sliding him to a forced point. Air resistance exceeds higher than its usual motto, yet it still pales in comparison to his body falling. His thrust levels are off the marks. Area around him is so dusky. Drops of blue-tipped points fall in possible velocity to his. It's difficult to predict how vast in void his vision lurks in. His response is a man-scream, albeit his friend tried calming him down.
After 10 seconds of falling down, Oliver's body stalls back. An invisible force pulls him back in his feet. His eyes open to the unseal of pure light. Oliver, now standing in feet, foots his way to the light, accepting its harmless-radiation of light-frequency, absorbed in the process.
Colourlessness of light fades away. His eyesight insights a proportional number of flashed images. A figure in black smoke hailing a woman, in armour, on top. Piles of corpses lied around him like dead fishes lost the ability to twitch a move. Diversity of families torn apart. Civilisations taken away, freedom lost. Flyers taking their victims to a charged area. And the Flash entering the a mysterious portal, way different from the boom tube.
"What're you seeing Oliver?". A recognisable voice flinched his body. Ignoring afterwards.
"I think...I think I'm in hell", Oliver reasoning his justifications, visioned in his eyeballs. Fire was the main background in all of it. Question still remains. Where is Oliver and Kara? "You. The team. Countless other heroes down for the count. People getting robbed from their place".
"Am I one of the people dead?"
"I don't know. It's all a whole new gain on me. You just vanished by a portal, very different from the ones me and Kara use"
"Can you focus in image to what happened to you and Kara?", Barry requested. Oliver bids to his request. He materialises his vision in flash-image processing of what happened to Oliver and Kara. Brief hits of light blur Oliver, but disregards it. Until an image released in his eyes. He was disturbed. A future wasteland ruled by two people who inserts faces of himself and his girlfriend. "Oliver?!". Oliver can feel Barry's spontaneous shakes. He didn't want to move into his side, he didn't want to run away. He needed to see it properly. No delays, no reluctance.
"Barry I'm so in hell", Oliver regarded, agitatedly.
Barry, in fast speed, takes the goggle-shaped tech from his eyes. Oliver, whom felt something taken out from his eyes, grasps in air. Barry runs to him, placing his two hands on close around his shoulder and torso, calming him down.
"Christ Barry. I witnessed something so grievous"
"And I'm guessing you're eager in sharing the news?"
Oliver momentum his head up and down.
"You mentioned that I vanished in a portal", Barry regarded, reminding his friend of his words. "What pushed me into using that kind of tech?".
"It's no techno sci-fi you use Barry. You're the one who embodies that power", Oliver explained to his friend.
Barry didn't realise he could scare into the feats of accessing a portal. Eobard, disguised as Harrison Wells, whom Barry affiliated with, never gave such integrity to educate Barry the use of having the powers of jumping through portals. Although he once did attempt something related to it, something he never noticed. Felt like hallucination. The future could point many things. Maybe the current Barry already encountered with these events but lost memory of it. Wouldn't be right though. If this portal thing was similar to how Barry used it in his engagement with a man who almost flooded the city with the powers of unleashing a hurricane, Barry should remember these events.
"Eobard never lectured me upon that path of power-"
"Who's Eobard?"
"Same man who posed as Harrison Wells". Oliver now develops a new thought. Reverse Flash's true identity.
"He needed my speed for his bid of profit. To go back to the future. Since he was too weak to enhance his powers to maximum use"
Going forward from the topic of Barry's former nemesis. They both now know what Oliver's visions underlines, in terms of the future.
"There's a secret room within the corridor of S.T.A.R. Labs", said Barry. Eobard obscured a lot of toys and technologies. His set up for all these years to come, came in his non-permanent favour. Now everything is substanced under Barry's control.
White room. Gaps of dots embedded in every point in wall.
A camouflaged hatch opens up, revealing Oliver and Barry. Oliver, seconds, saw the deceased man's suit.
"An omelette exchanged between two opposed souls", Oliver phrased. Barry wasn't too pretentious in showing his murky grin.
He places his hand, enabling some access, on a white-furnished lectern, holo-projecting a splint face of a bald female, whom greets his supposed creator, in artificial standards. Barry motions the AI to project a futuristic news. Gideon complies to Barry's request. Forecasting a newspaper from the later years.
"Terrible war that fades the end of daylight", Oliver followed, through reading the holographic newspaper's headline. Information about it incorporates a war between Earth's Heroes and a duplicitous demon. Flash missing during the crises.
"That's not what me, Cisco and Caitlin saw before", said Barry, referring to the time when they were investigating Harrison Well's true self. "Something's changed". If this is their future, they have to plan their move. Headline stated in 2024, that's when the crises begins.
"We can't tell anyone about this Barry", Oliver lined, as their first part of the plan. "They'll get themselves killed if they come up against a god".
Barry faces back to Oliver. Eyeing him for 5 seconds. Thinking about their choice, a choice that will determine their fate. No. The fate of the world.
"Agreed", said Barry, enmeshing his role in a dangerous a job that will possibly kill them. They'd do anything. Because they're heroes. Heroes that will save this planet from a forthcoming mist of darkness.
