Lemons...? Limes...? I still don't know if thats still a thing or not.

Kidah's POV

When we got back to the Western Air Temple, Aang and Zuko showed the rest of our group what they've learned. I sit in the back and watch as they slowly complete their circle with the sunset glowing in the background.

"With this technique the dragons showed us, Zuko and I would be unstoppable," Aang says as they reach their final position, fire bursting from their fists. Everyone claps at the performance.

Sokka places an elbow on my shoulder, "Yeah, that's a great dance you two learned there."

Zuko sees his arm on me, and he suddenly gets very defensive. "It's not a dance. It's a firebending form."

"We'll just tap-dance our way to victory over the Fire Lord," he moves his fingers in a tiny dancing motion against his palm.

Walking towards the Southern boy, I can hear the malice in Zuko's voice. "It's a sacred form that happens to be thousands of years old!"

"Oh yeah? What's your little form called?" Katara puts her hands on her hips beside her brother.

He looks away, embarrassed. "The Dancing Dragon."

Everyone laughs, even Aang. Looking to me for comfort, I shrug my shoulders. Sokka's arm falls from me, and I step away. It brought the smallest smile to Zuko's face.

After dinner, I excuse myself to my room for the night. I run into Aang in the hallway. "So, you and Zuko, huh?"

I stop in my tracks and sigh, "I knew this was coming…"

He puts his hands up defensively, "I'm not judging… Just, do you think its the best idea? You weren't the same after Ba Sing Se for a long time."

"I, honestly, don't know," I say as I lean up against the wall. "There's a connection with him that I've never had with anyone else. He hurt me, but I never stopped caring for him."

He nods, "well, then I support you." I smile at him. "I really do think he has changed, Kidah. The way he looks at you… I'm pretty sure he's in love with you." My hand rises to my lips as I blush. He smiles knowingly at me and bows, "Princess."

Aang leaves me alone in the hallway. I close my eyes and feel warmth in my chest. Pulling myself together, I wander to my room slowly.

I sit on my window sill and stare up to the moon. Yue, I'm sorry I haven't reached out in a day or two… There was a lot going on as I'm sure you've noticed… Do you really think Zuko loves me? I know I love him. I sigh in momentary frustration, am I being silly for even thinking about telling him?

"I was wondering if you were going to come to me, or me to you tonight." Zuko's voice behind me makes my cheeks blush. His arms wrap around my waist as he looks up to the sky with me. "How's Yue?" He asks.

"Good as far as I know…" I lean into his strong chest as he nuzzles into my neck.

"What were you talking about?"

"Just girl talk, the usual." I turn and peck him on the cheek.

He pulls me to him tighter, "I'm sorry about earlier… you know, with Atzi."

"I really do think it may have been a part of their custom! We were just sparing, I promise!" My words come out rather rushed.

Zuko laughs lightly, "she probably couldn't resist you, just like me. Especially watching you fight," he moans into my hair, "there's something about the way your body moves." He pulls me from the window sill and holds me in the air, spinning me around.

A fit of giggles escapes me. He turns me around and kisses me deeply. "I want to take you somewhere."

I look at him questioningly. "The last time you took me somewhere, you basically broke up with me."

Zuko kisses my hand and looks me in the eyes, "that'll never happen again." He looks up to my crown and points, "but you may want to leave that here." When I don't move, he takes it gently from my head and sets it on the bed.

He leads us through the temple that we've made home and into the next pagoda. The hallways are dark, so I cling to his arm. He creates a flame in his palm to light our path. "It should be this way…" Zuko turns us down another hall. "When I was first exiled from the Fire Nation this was one of the first places Uncle and I came to look for the Avatar. We searched the whole place from top to bottom. It didn't interest me at the time, but now," he looks down to me, "I think it'll definitely interest you."

We come across a tall white door with blue swirls and tiles up to the ceiling. Zuko pushes the door open with some difficulty. Once inside, he takes a deep breath and bends rapidly, shooting flames to a bunch of unseen candles scattered around the room.

"Its a bathhouse," he announces. Steam rises from pools in front of us. Vines had crawled down the walls, sprouting light blue honeysuckles. It smelled sweet and smokey from his bending. "Uncle said there is a natural hot spring deep in the mountain that the monks had tapped into," he walks up to the edge of the water and cups some in his hand. "So its fresh all the time. Even untouched for a hundred years, its pristine."

I kick off my shoes and join him. He smiles up to me, "when we were at the abandoned town, I remember how much you loved being in the water…" His cheeks turn a light pink.

I kiss him lightly, "thank you." I start to take off my clothes as he watches, but when I get down to my binder and shorts, I stop. "You may have seen most of it before, but we are taking things 'slow', remember?" I raise an eyebrow at him. He scowls and turns around.

After taking off my last layer, I slide into the water. Its slightly warmer than my body's natural temperature. I dunk my head under water and rub at my scalp, massaging it. When I come back up, Zuko is a few feet away from me in the pool. "Do you like it?" He asks.

I fight the urge to float on my back. "Its perfect… The last time I relaxed like this was after the Northern Tribe's council made me heir to Chief Arnook. Legara, my handmaiden, drew me a bath. It was a glass tub filled with hot water, and there were dark night roses all over the room. I may have grown up a commoner, but I certainly appreciate the finer things in life." I dip my head under the water again, trying to rub all the grime from my body.

Zuko swims closer to me, "what do you think will happen after the war?" he whispers.

"Either Aang loses to your father, and we all die… or we prevail and create a new world order." I shrug under the water.

"What about us?" I meet his gaze, and his eyes glow in the light of the candles.

"We'll create the world together."

He sighs in irritation, "that's not what I'm talking about, Kidah. Do you really think your Chief will allow us to be together?"

I swim closer to him, "you do realize that you're a prince, too, right?"

"Uncle will take the throne after my father. He's the true heir." He looks away from me.

I pause, trying to decide how to proceed. "Chief Arnook has no say in who I do or do not love." His head snaps up, eyebrows raised in surprise. "He's going to be around a while, so my duties are in shorter supply than you may assume."

Zuko slowly wraps his arms around me, pulling me to him. Although we can't see one another through the dark waters, our naked bodies touch. "Do you love me?" He breathes, and I look down. My cheeks and chest burn anxiously.

I tremble under his hands, but say nothing, scared of what he will say. He wraps my legs around his waist. Placing a finger below my chin, he raises my head to lock eyes. "Kidah… Are you in love with me?"

Biting my lip, my mind goes blank. It is as if I can't remember any words. "Stop doing that," he commands. "Tell me," he whispers as he brings our faces closer. Zuko brushes his lips against mine, bringing me back to life.

"I love you, Zuko," I breathe. I feel something burn deep inside me saying it for the first time.

He pulls away slowly, looking me over. "And I love you, Kidah." His smile is contagious, and we sit there in the water grinning at one another. "I thought you'd never say those words to me besides in my dreams."

I roll my hips into him, "this is definitely reality."

"That, it is," he kisses me fervently. I pull him deeper into me, tugging at his hair. We can't get close enough. His lips trail down to my neck where he bites me gently. Zuko's erection presses into me.

The thought of my inexperience sends anxiety rocking through me. "Zuko, I-" his teeth graze my skin again, "I've never-"

"I know," he says into my skin. I drag my nails down his shoulder blades, and his temperature rises. Steam swirls around us as the water warms even more from Zuko's small loss of control. "Come here…" He says as he drags our bodies to the edge of the water. "I want to see you."

I feel like my brain has turned to cotton, when he pulls himself up on the ledge. I stare in awe at his chiseled body. His head tilts knowingly. "Your turn," Zuko's smirk glows in the candlelight.

Swirling water around me, I pull myself up in a small waterspout, landing a few feet away. My chest heaves from nervousness and arousal. He rises as his eyes devour every inch of me. He moves quickly, picking me up to wrap my legs around him again. Our lips crash and I feel hard, cool tile press into my back. A pleasant, honeyed scent fills my nose.

His hands reach down in between my legs, caressing me. A moan escapes my throat, and I close my eyes. "Don't stop," I say into his mouth. His finger enters me while his thumb makes small circles around my bud. Playing me like a fine-tuned instrument, I climax with a whimper.

I meet his gaze dimly. His eyes have darkened to amber. I pant against him, trying to catch my breath. His hand moves between us, and I feel the head of his erection press into me. I nod shakily, giving him permission.

Zuko smiles slightly, but his face turns to that of deep concentration as he enters me slowly. I yelp at the pain from being stretched. Once fully inside me, he cups my cheek and wipes a rogue tear from my face. "It gets better, I promise."

Pulling out carefully, he groans. After a few seconds of measured strokes, the discomfort subsides. I begin to meet his thrusts with my own. His hand gently grasps my throat. "Yeah?" he asks, brows raised in concern.

I arch into him. "Yeah," I lament. He moans and quickens the pace. I can feel myself reaching a second peak. Zuko takes a nipple in between his teeth, and it sends me soaring. My body quivers. His own release follows as he howls into my shoulder.

We pant against each other, my head sitting in the crock of his neck. "You were right… It did get better."

He chuckles softly at me. A large yawn escapes me. "Let's dry off and go to bed," Zuko murmurs, placing a piece of my wet hair behind my ear. A warm cloud envelops us, and I feel the water droplets evaporate from my skin. For some reason, it only turned me on again.
