Angela knew it wasn't that easy to stay out of Smallville, or at least go back limited visits. Living in Bruce's penthouse was working out great for her. He had even trusted her enough to be his representative to the meetings at his building instead of flying out there all the time, giving him more time to clean up Gotham city which he was currently trying to dealing with Joker and Harley Quinn.

She went home to the farm every weekend unless there was a meeting to spend time with her family and friends. Last she heard Rose and Maria had beat Lex with a ladle again after finding out he had hurt Angela, and she could admit that made her smile.

Suddenly her phone began ringing her brother's ringtone she had set for him.

"Hey bro what's up?,"

"Sheriff Miller found dad passed out in the truck from tequila and with a gun, a gun that shot Lionel Luthor,"

"But dad doesn't drink tequila?,"

"I know can you come home?,"

"Yeah and will be bringing Bruce's lawyer that works here,"

"Thanks sis," Clark was relived to have his sister's help with this but hoped that it wouldn't go bad considering her history with Lex.

When the call was finished Angela had contacted the lawyer downstairs and together they got ready to head to Smallville.

A few hours later they arrived at the police station where Martha and Clark were waiting outside for them.

"They say that they have a whole bunch of evidence sis,"

"Like what?,"

"That he was witnessed arguing with Lionel about a watch he gave mom, that he was berating Lionel at the bar while doing double shots of tequila before buying the bottle, and then his truck was supposedly seen leaving right after the shots were heard,"

"We will figure this out I promise, this is Mr. Salford he is Bruce's lawyer in Metropolis he is going to represent dad in all this,"

"Thank you hunnie,"

"Anything for the family mom," Angela said hugging her mom.

An hour later as Mr. Salford was talking to their father, and Clark and Pete had taken off to try to disprove everything Angela received a message to meet Clark at the hospital to talk to the Sheriff.

When she arrived she met Clark at the front door and together they went in to find the Sheriff. Unfortunately they found him with the Luthor's.

"He is being framed Sheriff," Clark spoke up getting his attention.

"Mr and Miss Kent why do you say that?," when the Sheriff said Miss Kent Lex turned getting to see Angela for the first time in awhile.

He was stunned she looked so beautiful the way she was dressed. She was dressed in black well fitted slacks, a Victorian style white blouse, a black blazer, and black boots. her hair was done up in a bun with the blue streak hanging down, and she had done her makeup in that smoky Gothic style.

"Angela?,"

"So you see Sheriff someone fired the gun into the side of shed framing our father, his lawyer is currently with him but he is being framed we know our father he isn't a killer," Angela kept talking to the Sheriff ignoring Lex completely.

"But he has motive against the Luthor's between your mother and your past with them Miss Kent,"

"My past is insignificant Sheriff, It was a young stupid piece of my past, I have put it behind me since the man i was with married since then showing he didn't care about me so i don't care about him,"

"I understand I will take our evidence and statements into consideration,"

"Thank you," Angela replied as she and Clark turned to leave missing the look of sadness on Lex's face he knew he screwed up and he was still determined to fix things.

The next day Angela sat in the limo out front the station working on files on her laptop waiting for info from Mr. Salford. Clark and Pete had taken off to the bar to get info and to work a lead while Angela was on dad duty.

Suddenly she got a text from Clark saying there was a explosion and that he and Pete were at Smallville Medical Center.

"Damian?,"

"Yes Angela,"

"Please drive me to the Smallville Medical Center,"

"Of course," with that she was on her way to meet up with her knuckle headed brother.

When she arrived she noticed he was talking to Lex so she stayed back not wanting anything to do with him. Clark though noticed her and said goodbye to Lex before heading to his sister.

"You ok?,"

"Yeah Pete was a little banged up but he is ok too,"

"That's good to hear shall we head back to the jail?,"

"You know he wants to talk to you, work things out,"

"Clark look I don't care if you still bother with him but Cassandra was right he hurt me multiple times, he even married 2 women Clark. I still care about him but i'm done with him that door is closed forever,"

"I understand sis just letting you know,"

'I know now come on Damian has the limo out front," Angela replied turning to leave.

When Angela and Clark arrive at the jail they notice Lana and Henry small there.

"Clark, Angela I convinced Henry to help your dad but I found out he already has one,"

"He does mine from Metropolis but could always use another pair of hands,"

"Thank you Miss Kent for agreeing to this,"

"You're welcome Mr Small," Angela gave a small smile happy to see that her dad was going to get close to home help too.

"We could possibly get your dad out on bail but it won't stop it from going to trial but we need the bartender's written statement but he has gone missing,"

"I will head back to figure things out," Clark offers turning to leave.

An hour later Angela received a text from Clark with a photo of the bartender dead and packed inside a freezer. Showing the text to Mr. Salford and Mr. Small they realize it's part of a whole other set up.

Clark set up a trap get word out say Lionel is healing and move him to another floor of the hospital it will lure out the true culprit good luck bro

Angela knew Clark would be able to handle it and stayed at the jail spending time talking to her dad and mom catching up on things she had missed, and getting a joking slap on the hand for sneaking behind her parents back and paying some of the bills that they figured out she was doing for them.

The text she received from Clark an hour and a half later was shocking it was the Sheriff himself who had done all this cause he was being blackmailed by Lionel. She knew that family would never change and was glad it was over, she actually had her eyes set to the future no love life yet at least til she found someone truly worthy.

She had been smart at least when she had left the first time she had taken her ship and her brother's with her to Gotham where Bruce currently had them locked up in the bat cave. Meeting Bruce was the greatest event in her life he was the older brother they needed and a true ally who was working on keeping her and Clark's secret safe.

After hugging Clark, her mom, and dad tight after he had been released from jail she and Mr. Salford began leaving Smallville going to the one place she truly felt safe Metropolis, Wayne Enterprises.
