Chapter 27: Escape, Death, and a Dark Curse

Nine Years Later

Wish Realm - Alice's Cottage

Alice tossed and turned in her sleep in the midst of a dream. She awoke with a start. She needed to get to her father. A woman he loved was in trouble and needed his help. She rushed to get dressed and ran from her cottage. She ran past Rumpelstiltskin, who sat at his spinning wheel. She ran through the woods to the resistance camp where her father lived.

As she neared the camp, Robin, who was standing guard, stopped her. "Hey what's the hurry? What happened?" Robin asked her.

"I-I need my papa. He needs to go help someone. She's-she's in trouble," Alice said as she tried to catch her breath.

"Okay. Okay. I'll go and get him," Robin said. She left Alice and ran to wake up got to Hook's tent and called to him - you only make the mistake of startling a man with a hook for a hand once before learning your lesson.

Hook poked his head out of his tent and said, "What's up, Robin?"

"Alice is here. She said she needs to see you. Something about someone being in trouble - that they need your help," Robin told him.

Hook rushed past Robin to see his daughter. He stopped about four feet from her, knowing if he got any closer, his poisoned heart would trigger and cause him so much pain.

"Starfish, what's the matter? Robin said someone's in trouble and needs my help," Hook asked her.

"On the beach where you met her, that's where you'll find her. Hurry, Papa! Tinkerbell is in a lot of trouble. Her life is in danger," Alice told him in a rush.

"Tinkerbell? Are you sure, Starfish?" Hook asked, not quite believing what his daughter was saying.

"Yes, Papa, I'm sure," she said softly. "You must hurry."

"I will, Starfish, I will," he said and took off running towards the beach where he met Tinkerbell.

Neverland/Wish Realm

Tinkerbell was asleep in Felix's treehouse, her once a week reprieve from Pan, when she was woken up by being shaken awake by Felix. "What the hell, Felix?" she asked him.

Felix handed her the amulet and small leather pouch that she thought was lost. "You have to leave Neverland, Tinkerbell. Pan has come up with his most diabolical plan for you yet. You will not survive this one. Take this magic bean and leave here and don't ever look back," he told her.

"How did you get the bean, Felix? And how do you have my things?" she asked.

"I stole the bean from Pan. As for your things, I found them 15 years ago when Pan sent me to pack your things to move you in with him. You had them hidden away, so I figured they were special to you and that you wouldn't want Pan to know about them, so I took them and hid them in my treehouse," he told her. "But you need to go now. Before it's too late."

She grabbed her things and the bean from him. She kissed Felix on the cheek and gave him a hug goodbye. "Thank you for being my friend and doing your best to protect me from him. You know he's going to kill you if he finds out you helped me escape, don't you?"

"I do. But if he follows you, be prepared to kill him in order to survive, because if you don't he will certainly kill you. Being your friend was easy and I do not want your thanks. I just want you to be free and happy," Felix told her. "Now stop stalling and go."

She nodded and ran from the treehouse. She ran through the forest, frantically trying to think of a place to portal to using the magic bean. Finally, she realized where she needed to go - the beach where she first met Killian. She threw the bean and when the portal appeared, she ran through it to the beach in the Enchanted Forest.

Unfortunately, Pan was right on her heels and he was pissed. He tackled Tinkerbell from behind knocking her down. She wiggled free from Pan and got up and assumed a fighting stance. She was not going down without a fight.

Pan laughed at her and said, "You think you have a chance of beating me? You are so delusional. I will kill you."

"You'll try but I assure you the only person dying today is you," Tinkerbell informed him.

Pan drew his dagger and smirked, "Seeing as I have a weapon and you don't, I believe you are wrong."

Tinkerbell bent down, keeping her eyes on Pan, and withdrew her own dagger from her boot. Smirking, she said, "You would be wrong." Then she lunged at him slashing his arm, drawing blood.

Pan and Tinkerbell circled each other, taking turns slashing at each other, some slashes hitting their mark, others not. Pan kicked at Tinkerbell's hand that was holding her dagger causing her to drop it. She scrambled to pick it up and he kicked her in the head. He picked up her dagger and threw it far away from where they were fighting. He threw his dagger away too, he was going to beat her to death with his bare hands. Tinkerbell tried to get up but Pan knocked her back down on the ground. He then started hitting her in the face and stomach, as he straddled her, holding her down. Tinkerbell blocked as many of his punches as possible, while trying to hit him and get out from beneath him. Pan then wrapped his hands around her neck and began squeezing. Tinkerbell was on the verge of passing out from lack of oxygen, when suddenly Pan was yanked off of her and thrown into a tree, knocked unconscious.

She lay on the ground gasping for breath, unaware of who had just saved her. Then he was there, above her looking down at her - Killian.

"Killian? Is it really you?" Tinkerbell asked.

"Aye love it is. She exiled you to Neverland?" Killian asked, helping her to sit up and gathered her into his arms.

"Yes. And I know you came there looking for me three years later. I know Pan lied to you about me being there. A fact he waited 12 years to tell me. And I know that I never gave up hope that you would find me, even through all the beatings and pain Pan put me through. I also know that I still love you," Tinkerbell told him.

"He beat you? What else did he do to you, love?" Killian asked, growing even angrier at Pan.

She took a deep breath and told him about the caning from 26 years earlier, the almost daily beatings that occurred since then, and then she told him about daily rapes that occurred for the last 15 years. As she talked, Killian became enraged at Pan, even as his heart broke with the knowledge of the pain she had been subjected to at Pan's hands. He never wanted to kill a person more in his very long life.

Killian gently wipes away her tears and kisses her softly. "I still love you too and I am so sorry, love, for everything he has done to you. Now how about we make this bastard pay for all of that and more?" Killian said to her.

She kisses him back and says, "That's the best idea I've heard since Felix gave me the magic bean to escape."

They get up and walk over to the unconscious Pan. Killian tells Tinkerbell to gather some of the kelp that was washed up on shore. She gathers it and brings it back to Killian. He uses it to tie Pan to the tree and then slaps Pan till he wakes up. Pan groans as he comes to.

"Well, well, well. Captain Hook we meet again. Though it seems that you have the upper hand this time," Pan says as he struggles against his bindings.

"Yes and now you will pay for everything that you've done to her and for lying to me when I came looking for her," Killian informed him coldly. He then turned to Tinkerbell and handed her his dagger and said, "Ladies first."

Tinkerbell took the dagger from Killian and said, "Why thank you. Oh and please don't be offended by what I'm going to do to him first. Which is to make sure he never rapes another person again." She cuts off a piece of her shirt, as she doesn't want to actually touch him, and cuts off Pan's dick and then shoves it down this throat, choking him with it. Then she stabs him in the stomach.

Killian says, "Please remind me to never piss you off that badly that you do that to me, love."

"You could never hurt me like he did, therefore you will never piss me off that badly," she reassured him.

"Aye love you are right. I will never hurt you. Would you care to continue with your payback?" Killian asked.

"No I'm good. Besdes torture is much more your thing than mine," she says. "I just reserve the right to finish killing him."

"How do you propose to do that?" he asks.

"With a bit of leftover pixie dust," she says as she bends over and pulls the small leather pouch from her boot.

Killian nods and then pulls the dagger out of Pan's stomach and continues slashing at Pan's stomach, ultimately tearing out Pan's intestines. He also slashed at Pan's face and punched Pan several times. Once he is finished, he nods to Tinkerbell, who sprinkles the last of the pixie dust on her hand, enchanting it. She then plunges her hand into Pan's chest and rips out his heart. Holding it in her hand, she holds it up to Pan's face. She slaps him with her other hand to get his attention, as he's losing consciousness from the blood loss. Then she squeezes Pan's heart crushing it to dust, killing him.

She drops her hand to her side, opening it to let the dust fall. She walks to Killian and wraps her arms around his waist. He picks her up and carries her away from Pan's body. He sits her down on the beach, sitting down next to her and pulls her close. She closes her eyes as the adrenaline begins to wear off and the pain sets in. Killian looks at her concerned.

Sensing his concern, she opens her eyes and assures him, "I'll be fine. Nothing I haven't felt before."

"I vow it will be the last time you feel this way, love," he says kissing her forehead. He reaches into his pocket and pulls something out. "The day she took you away from me, I vowed that once I found you again, we would never be apart again. There is so much that I need to tell you, so much that has happened. But I don't have enough time. A witch is at this moment casting a Dark Curse that will take us all to a Land Without Magic and we won't know who we are or who each other is. But I know, in my soul, that we will find each other there. I know this because I love you that deeply. So I'm asking you, before we are torn apart again, will you marry me?" He holds out an emerald and diamond ring.

"Yes I will marry you. But if what you say about the curse is true, how will we find each other again?" Tinkerbell says.

"Because curses have been broken before and this curse will be broken too. And once it's broken, we will marry," he says as he places the ring on her finger, kissing her.

"How much time do we have left before this curse hits?" she asks.

Killian looks up at the rapidly darkening sky and says, "Not much. The curse has almost reached us."

"I love you, Killian," Tinkerbell says as she passes out from the pain.

"I love you too, Tink," he says as the curse reaches them and takes them and most everyone in the Wish Realm away to the Land Without Magic.
