Wally West was staring wistfully at the heartwarming movie playing on the large, flat-screen television at one oclock in the dull afternoon. It was about deadly vampires and a hopeless brotherly friendship. The muscular vampire boy saved a small, emaciated child from being consumed by a starving pack of frightening, mussed wolves. The compassionate vampire had swallowed his immense hunger for the easy prey and successfully rescued the mere male child and their abnormal relationship was blossoming swiftly. Right now, Kid Flash was enviously watching them embrace comfortingly and he suddenly felt ever so isolated and greatly alone. Which was simply just vacuous. He'd dealt with mere loneliness easily before, so he really ought to be able to handle one night without Elliot Knight, to say the least. Of course, he was pleased that Elliot was spending much deserved time with his other best friend, Seemore, who he had missed dearly. Elliot was definitely revelling his greatly earned rest, laughing amusedly, chatting enthusiastically, playing energetically, hugging tightly- Okay, he had to stop that. Flash sighed miserably as he dejectedly switched on his recent samsung smartphone and sorrowfully clicked on the contact 'Sleepy Boi ;)'. With a heavy sigh, he read over Elliot's most recent messages again.
Sleeping over with See
Take care of urself plz
Bye
With a doleful moan, Flash carelessly tossed it away and massaged his temples consolingly. Wally's crystal blue eyes slid back to the vast screen and grunted bitterly as he saw the bulkier vampire wrapping the dying child in his strong arms, pressing him closely before going to fully carrying him in bridal style. Wally frustratedly switched off the loudly buzzing television and groaned sourly. Automatically, his yearning mind rapidly began musing vehemently of Elliot Knight. His dazzling laugh; his inhumanly enchanting smile; his soft, long hair; his pleasantly cool temperature- Ugh again!
Wally awkwardly shuffled into an easier position and swiftly grabbed his metallic crutches. He slid his strong hands in, feelings his muscles tense as he picked himself up and gradually made his slow way to the small kitchen. With a quiet grunt of slight effort, Flash slipped his uninjured hand from one of the sturdy crutches and admittedly struggled to open the expensive fridge and randomly chose a simple cheese string, a fizzy soda, a medium packet of cheap cocktail sausages and many fresh strawberries in a small plastic bag. He stuffed them unneatly in his tight jeans pockets as he then returned his hand back in his sturdy crutch and clumsily reached the comfy sofa. Finally, he awkwardly swivelled around and slumped on the soft cushion, afterwards dropping the metallic crutches and settling into a more comfortable position. Wally glared resignedly at the smushed up food and defeatedly started fumbling with the plastic packaging. He imagined himself getting scolded exasperatedly by Elliot. He'd probably say,"Ugh Wally, you're so stupid. I'll get you something but next time don't just stuff it in your pockets!" Then he'd crack out his amused smile, leaving Wally amazed. Maybe they'd even- Okay, this was just becoming vacuous. Kid Flash took a sharp intake of breath and dolefully began non-committedly slowly munching at his pathetic excuse of a meal. Wally West sighed wistfully, boredly attempting to distract himself by flicking on the uninteresting television and browsing non-committedly through the dull channels. Looks like he'd be watching the stupid, boring documentary 'Bee Life' today. Joy.
Meanwhile, Elliot Knight was staring thoughtfully at Seemore. The only one positive about his wounded friend's blindness was that he could never tell if you were watching him or not. Although Elliot was admittedly rather small now, especially since last year, Seemore was fortunately still quite a bit smaller than him and definitely weaker in physical strength, though not in overall skill. Seemore had night vision, x-ray, flotation, heat trackers, hard amo, flawless targeting systems and countless others advanced settings in his handy helmet. They had often worked as a greatly efficient team: Elliot masterfully using his stealthy, rapid teleportation and adept swordsmanship together with his continual, vital prompts. Elliot was sitting in the spacious living room with Seemore sat closely, a small, content smile lingering on his pale lips as Seemore's hand rested on his, allowing him the vast indication where to look with his unseeing eyes. Billy Numerous, Gizmo and Mammoth had initially cheerfully harassed him, before finally giving the two boys some much required space. Therefore, they were left alone, chatting delightedly.
Seemore said brightly,"So yeah. After that, I've never trusted Billy with anything like that again. Anyway, what job do you have now, Lio?"
"Oh, pretty boring to be honest. Just put books on the shelves,"Elliot replied amusedly.
"Oh I kinda thought you'd do something a bit more...big,"he admitted curiously.
"Well surprisingly enough, I couldn't exactly become a professor at a university,"Elliot snapped indignantly, though not unkindly.
"Hmm. I guess. But you must get enough if you are in an apartment. Listen, did you cry again after what the Hive did?,"Seemore enquired caringly, tightening his hold on the mute villain's cool hand, even if Elliot didn't do anything in return.
After Elliot Knight failed to reply audibly (accidentally nodding his head instead), Seemore sighed,"Lio. I can't see."
"Oh, I'm sorry, See. Umm...maybe? Don't care about it though, okay?,"Elliot confessed defensively.
"Fine. I see you haven't changed a bit,"Seemore teased amusedly, before softening,"I'm glad."
Elliot shuffled uncomfortably: he had changed ever so much. From allowing a speedy hero to embrace him affectionately all the time, sleeping with him, wearing his chosen attire to even being carried bridal style. The old Elliot Knight would fervently abhor all and resolutely never do any. Yet he had and did. Nonetheless, Elliot forced a small chuckle, even though his pale face framed a dolorous frown.
"The others told me you got in a scrap, said something about a broken nose. You good?,"Seemore asked concernedly.
"Pfft. That was ages ago. But yeah. Some thugs had a go at me when I was sick and broke my nose but I teleported away straight afterwards,"he lied convincingly, tenderly intertwining their hands together.
Seemore beamed delightedly whilst Elliot felt as though he'd brutally stabbed himself with a sharp knife. Whilst it symbolised strong friendship for the small villain, it unfortunately meant horrible pain for the poor former villain.
How had he now gone to lying to his best friend?
It turns out the expectedly dull bees were a lot more interesting than they actually let on. In fact, Wally had literally found out loads really already. For example, they dutifully kept each other warm and cool- wait, hang on a second. Okay, so maybe that wasn't a great example. No, bees were widely known to care for each other when they were severely sick or wounded frequently- Awh c'mon. No, no actually, a better example this time too. Lilies were one of their many favorite flowers to skillfully pollinate- hang on, Lilies? Actually, scrap that too. Bees always sleep with another fellow bee, touching and snuggling the other closely- Stop! No! Why do bees have to be so similar to Elliot Knight, for God's sake?! Alright, Kid Flash didn't like this stupid bee documentary anymore. With a sharp intake of breath, Flash rapidly changed the factual channel onto an old sci-fi movie playing and listened eagerly to the insane professor yammering excitedly to an enthusiastic, young woman in monotone. Surely, this couldn't be related whatsoever to Elliot…
On the large screen, the cackling, crazy professor explained elatedly,"-so with only a click of a button, I can teleport anywhere and-"
Wally flinched and immediately flicked onto the next embarrassing channel, to a cheesy romance, with a beautiful princess and handsome peasant, both hopelessly in deep love.
"Oh sweet Lucinda, will you be the sun in my skies? Will you...marry me?,"he requested dramatically, kneeling on one knee with an intricately carved, silver ring pinched in his strong hands.
Lucinda gasped lovingly,"Why, Elliot, of-"
Flash didn't like that particular channel either. He swiftly changed instead to gory horror, now uncaring on whether or not he'd wince nauseously at the bloody, lacerated victims. It was set in a gloomy, stony castle with a starless, pitch black night sky, a menacing blood red light spilling over the gnarly depths of the voluminous, twisted forest behind it, accompanied by an eerie silence. Wally jolted fearfully as a high pitched, feminine scream emitted abruptly from the dark, damp attic. Instantly, you saw an emaciated, pale white woman coated in oozing blood jerking fitfully on the dusty floor as a hidden shadow approached insidiously. You only saw the back of the broad, spooky silhouette as it crouched down heinously with raspy cackles and looked face to face with its infirmed prey. The dying woman froze as she gazed up fearfully, scarcely managing to shrillily utter a barely coherent sentence.
"You-you-have red eyes!"
Flash pouted frustratedly and instantly changed the fearsome channel again and was literally met with Peppa Pig. They were dumbly dressing up for Halloween and all of their piquing squeaky voices were irking the enraged speedster immensely but he didn't care anymore. It was all fine when…
Peppa emerged from her childishly pastel bedroom and squeaked joyously,"Look, George, I'm an elf! I have pointy ears like an elf and-"
Wally West groaned exasperatedly and practically almost broke the vacuous controller as he finally just turned it off vexedly, feeling like screaming in his bitter rage. How had a bee documentary, an ancient sci-fi, a cheesy romance, a spooky horror and literally Peppa Pig all dreadfully hinted towards Elliot Knight? Wally cupped his freckled face in his hands despairingly and grudgingly accepted it. He missed Elliot. And quite a bit at that too.
Hours passed, rapidly for Elliot and much too slowly for Wally. Although Elliot Knight would occasionally have a merciless blow of unbridled guilt darkening his precious time, it was otherwise brilliantly relieving and immensely relishable. For Wally, however, it was mocking torture- somehow a mere tea spoon reminded him of Elliot Knight, which was slightly concerting to say the least. By eleven, both boys were laying in a comfy bed, though in completely different demeanours.
Elliot was smiling fondly at the snoring figure sprawled besides him. Seemore had unrelentingly insisted they sleep together in his small double bed as they hadn't seen each other in ever so long, but the comfy bed was so small that Seemore was practically on top of Elliot, even when he was tucked tightly on his side and pressed against the hard wall. In addition, Seemore certainly had strange sleeping habits. Occasionally, he'd turn around, mumbling incoherently and burying his bare face in Elliot's chest and clutching the designer pyjama top that Billy had kindly offered and we're actually unfortunately very large and loose on him. In fact, sometimes Seemore would unconsciously giggle lethargically through his mumbly mutters or raucous snoring in his deep slumber and blush a lovely colour. Seemore really was healing well, and Elliot was infinitely thankful for it. It was immensely pleasing to restfully lie in the mint-coloured double bed with his small best friend's comical unconscious antics. However, that didn't mean he could actually sleep himself. He vehemently felt like he was dearly missing something, as though an empty void had elicited ever since something unknown, yet personal, had been discarded at his modern apartment that had Wally inside. Elliot would probably end up exhausting himself again at this tedious rate, due to his utter lack of vital sleep. But he had to stay with Seemore: they'd known each other for ever so long. With a doleful sigh, Elliot Knight finally had to accept the dolorous facts. Seemore had gradually drifted away from him and Elliot had gradually drifted away from him. Elliot Knight knew that although Seemore had known him for a greatly long time and they had always revelled each other's pleasant companionship a lot, it could never even begin to comprehend to what Elliot and Kid Flash had. Whilst Seemore offered sweet chatter, Wally West gave suffocating hugs. He had to stop convincing himself that the vast time they had spent together meant a better relationship than with Wally. He knew exactly who he desired to sleep with tonight. Elliot bit his pale lip nervously and nimbly snatched his phone from Seemore's light wooden bedside table, his undeniable stealth ensuring Seemore wasn't to be disturbed. He switched it on anticipatedly and rapidly chose his pleasantly familiar contact on his advanced smartphone- 'Wally =)'. Quietly, he texted him swifty, thankful that he was already online at the moment.
Hey
Hi Ellie missin me already

Elliot smiled slightly as he went to put down the advanced smartphone when it swiftly informed Elliot that Flash was texting again. He watched agogly before his short message was finally sent.
Oh and wen u come back teleport on the sofa
No questions
Now go on and get a move on sleepy boi
Elliot rolled his amber eyes amusedly and sighed dolefully as he then turned back to Seemore. He was gripping Elliot Knight's thin, branded pyjama t-shirt unconsciously, whilst mumbling sleepily with a small, fatigued smile mingling on his lips. Seemore was sprawled out comfortably, his skinny stomach and front pressed closely into Elliot. Elliot smiled kindly and gently shook his shoulders. Eventually, Seemore's dark brown eyes flickered open tiredly, though unseeingly, and his hands tenderly instinctively felt up Elliot's chest, until he was satisfied he knew him. Seemore gave him a dopey smile, before mumbling lethargically.
"Lio? What's happenin'?,"he muttered wearily.
"Listen, See. I'm really glad I've seen you but I can't sleep. I'm going to my apartment but I promise I'll come back soon, okay?,"Elliot explained guiltily, expecting a miserable frown.
Fortunately, Seemore rather cracked into an understanding grin and assured sweetly,"I kinda thought you would. You hate sleeping with people, don't you? Yep. You haven't changed a bit."
Elliot bit his pale lip anxiously. Oh how he had changed ever so much. And how Seemore absolutely had no idea. Elliot chuckled softly at his villainous friend's dopey smile and whispered a small 'say I said goodbye and I'll give Billy his pjs later'. Seemore nodded tiredly before he was finally unable to stay awake anymore and he immediately slumped back fast asleep again. Elliot dolefully slid a cool, pale hand on the side of Seemore's warm face before smiling remorsefully. And with that, Elliot Knight tightened his light hold on his new smartphone and teleported away.
Wally west yawned tiredly but he wasn't able to sleep just yet. He was sprawled comfortably on the soft sofa, draping a warm duvet over him and a comfy pillow resting under his head. Finally, Elliot Knight miraculously teleported on and wasn't given any time to react as Kid Flash swung his unharmed arm around his skinny waist and tugged him next to him. Elliot hissed startledly as he was tucked underneath the pleasant duvet and pressed tightly in an urgent embrace. Flash felt him relax instantly and purr affectionately.
"Hey, El. Was it good?,"Wally yawned tiredly.
"Yeah...can you try and not suffocate me in your stupid hug, Wally?,"Elliot teased lethargically.
"Maybe. Maybe not,"Kid Flash replied mockingly, though he did loosen his hold and allowed him to take to his usual curled up position.
Flash knew he was about to swiftly fall asleep soon so he rapidly leaned close to his pointed ears and whispered three gentle words.
"I missed you."
