Earth-38

Fortress of Solitude

Supergirl sits in an iceberg-structural chair, sulking to herself. Contemplating on the events that are bound to get folded. Where could she begin to start fixing reality, she doesn't know. Herself and Flash may have putrefied the whole multiverse, as an assumption. Her thirst of killing is still boiling inside of her. Her last kills were Luthor's henchmen, whom actiavted a medusa virus, that annihilated all the aliens. If not for Winn, she'd have fated the same way.

Kara then looks upward, over to the ice-sculptures of her blood-relatives.

"Did I really dishonour the House of El?", Kara questioned to herself. "And destroyed the very rules Clark harboured, before? As the very things to retain his moral principles?". No one answered, she was literally talking to the air around her. "When I put this crest on, it was supposed to present itself as the symbol of hope". As she lined it, she begun to sink her head into frustration. She embittered her own personality.

All she does is sit, and keep herself occupied. Like the fortress was her own personal museum. Technically it would be as Clark invested aliens, that have no homes, in specified tanks. In context to tendering pets. Supergirl ignored all noises peering from every specie that's screaming, squealing, roaring. She was in local-mediation.

Her silence was clinked when she heard a nearby thud from someone, who has a cape. She even heard the being's shift, which clears her mind to who her new visitor is.

"J'onn!", Kara called out. The Martian had no problem stepping into the light, as he was sighted to speak something. "I'm surprised you've healed so quickly. No problem", she said. "I'm assuming Alex sent you to have a chat with me. Whether the line is taken enclosed from, it doesn't matter. I'm not talking".

J'onn wasn't too impatient to rush into a chat with her. Whether that would result in chattering or arguments is up to what which route they partake their talks on. The disguised Martian, as Hank Henshaw, walks over, taking a seat, to gain a comfy place to chat with her daughter-figure.

Martian gave a slight mumble, expressing his bit of fondness, although not really the point.

"What do you want from me?", Kara demanded, with a straight voice, evince him to leave her in peace.

"What do I want?", J'onn followed. "Nothing", he said. "My concern, however, is you".

Kara opens her eyes to turn to her father-figure. "J'onn, I genuinely don't need help you help. Not anyone".

J'onn raises his head, aware of what she wishes.

"I have no issue with you commiserating your own troubles. Only at ordinary scales", said J'onn. "But what typically issues me the most if your change. Changing into something, I myself fear. Including your sister", reminding Kara of their last trouble with a Girl of Steel gone rogue.

"Your point?"

"You see, these humans that look up to the Man of Steel. I've said it before. They're not afraid of your cousin's godlike powers, they're afraid to experience him if he ever lost his temper"

"Admitting, he did. I confess to that", said Kara. "For me, I think I know one way to drive myself away from all this. My civilian persona, and my crusade".

"That's not what we want Kara", J'onn objected. "We both believe that you're doing really well".

"You don't understand, J'onn!", Kara shot, glimpsing another thought that is living unpleasantly in her head. "I'm not worried about embracing the darkness. I'm more worried about letting it go". Kara's truth outcome J'onn to understand he can't be the one to convince her. Despite his lacks, he wants to help the lady.

Martian simply nodded, understanding her viewpoint of her fate. Albeit, still against the possible odds.

"You remember how I used my powers on the man who tried to send me and Alex to Cadmus?"

Kara nodded, remembering from this time's events. It happened after Supergirl's rampage in National City, as she was exposed to the red kryptonite. Which made J'onn attend to his Martian Manhunter form, resulting in the D.E.O. finding out.

"I was very scared. I...". He couldn't say it, the actions he pulled in that scene. "I don't know how to say this. But what I did to that man, left a scar in my actions".

"You had no choice, J'onn", Kara reminded. "Apart from your clueless pervert in another person's mind, you were doing it all to protect Alex, and you".

"And what about you?", J'onn pointed out, seizing the opportunity to catch her soft orbs. It made Kara display a faint close-smile. "Heard from Alex that you caused some make-shifts that will elevate a war in the future".

"It's out of hand", Kara excused.

"So you're going to just abandon your teammates? Even Oliver?", J'onn pointed out, making Kara squeeze her eyes and teeth. "Yes, you have changed. But that still doesn't decimate a phase that you would abandon your boyfriend. Let alone a league of heroes defending their world".

Kara exercises her harder grim look.

"Show them who the Girl of Steel is made of"

"But..."

"No buts Kara. That is an order", J'onn said, in a near-tone to a father's voice, and upholding his current status. The director, whom bosses Kara.

As Kara was about to express deeper, a portal pops in front of them.

"A boom tube?", Kara called.

Oliver and Flash run out the spiral field, by the Scarlet's speed.

"Oliver? Barry?", Kara deemed, confused why they're in their world, when they are supposed to tackle a problem with Parademons. She was also astonished when she saw Oliver's new suit, as she hasn't seen it as she took off.

"Few words short: our friends are possessed by some an enemy of mine, and someone else who hates Oliver", Barry hastes to explain.

"Wait go back", Kara requested. "You friends are possessed?".

Barry and Oliver nodded.

"All of them", Oliver gave note to. In Oliver's mind, he is fractured to speak to Kara for running off, without telling him. Some point. "We need your help".

"Count me in", J'onn offered.

"No offense, but I don't think a human would-". Barry couldn't speak, his face was spooked at J'onn's sudden chance. "Okay".

"Kara?", Oliver called, at normal levels of volume. Kara eyed with him. "You sure you are up for this".

Kara stood for 2 seconds. Then nodded. They all head over, using the boom tube. For Green Arrow and the Flash's minds, they hope they are not too late. Every second is a heart left for S.T.A.R. Labs. An estimation of under two minutes should the possessed league continue to brush the building. As they remain in-between sides, Kara lectures the group of a deity capable of making his victims easily succumb to his darkness.
