A/N: I have returneth! It's been, like, 2 weeks and this chapter is short and probably sucks but it's here! I've got a good idea for the ending of this story, probably about 5 chapters left. I'm so sorry it took me forever to post this, my writer's block was intense. Please review my lovely people!

The two walked into the school the next day, heads held high for the first time in what seemed like years. The Kelchers were finally gone, and they weren't coming back. No more pervy comments or harassment. They were free. They weren't the only ones who felt the newfound happiness in the school. The entire school was free from the clutches of the Kelcher family. The teachers were happy too. They had had to deal with more than a little abuse from the Kelcher parents, in addition to putting up with their wretched children.

The energy of the campus was a complete 180. It was difficult to believe that one family could impact so many people. Kate and Penelope were also ecstatic about the loss of Chloe and Jake.

"It's the first day in months that my girlfriend and I have been able to hold hands without worrying about them being behind us," Kate commented. They were discussing the changes that were finally able to happen now.

"Speaking of girlfriends…" Garcia said mischievously, looking at Emily and Elle. Kate looked between the other three and immediately connected the dots.

"No way. How long?" She asked instantly. Elle rolled her eyes.

"Seriously? We aren't even holding hands or anything."

"Call it intuition. How long?"

"Yesterday." Garcia squealed in joy. They were sitting at their normal lunch table in the cafeteria, and even just looking around the room you could tell the fog had cleared.

"Do you guys want to come over this Friday? We could swing by the convenience store on our way home, pick up some snacks, hit the park for a bit, then go watch movies at my place," Garcia offered as she ate another bite of her quinoa salad.

"Sounds good to me. I don't have any plans." Kate answered.

"I'm in. JJ and Spencer are going to one of their classmate's birthday parties, so I'm open all day."

"I remember when you would invite everyone in your class to your birthday parties," Kate commented.

"If Em's in I'm in," Elle said.

"Great! I'll see you guys there!" Garcia squealed, excited to have a night with her girlfriends.

"JJ!" Ashley spotted her friend from across the classroom.

"Ashley, inside voices please," Ms. Todd scolded from the front of the classroom. She was sitting at her desk while the kids colored or read picture books. Ashley mumbled an apology before giving JJ a large hug.

"Are you excited for Rebecca's birthday on Friday?" She asked, bouncing on her toes.

"Uh huh!" She exclaimed. Of course she was excited, it was the only thing she had to look forward to that week. She grabbed a Rapunzel coloring sheet (the best princess) and some crayons before taking her seat next to Ashley.

"Hi JJ!" Stephen greeted her as she sat down. Spencer sat next to his friend behind the two girls.

"Did you guys know that Abby's gone? Ms. Todd said she moved!"

"Really?"

"Really!"

Their excitement was quickly replaced with focus as Jordan began the day's lesson.
