AN: Thank you all sooo much for the reviews! I do want to write an NC17 fic but I cannot post it here as I believe it is against the rules. Just FYI, if you try and post a link on a review or PM; FF erases it and I cannot see it, sometimes you have to get creative and trick the system.

Also, this is a pretty short chapter but it explains the next hurdle. Let me know what you think!

Bart sighed as he pulled the truck into his driveway, ignoring the impending sense of doom that had settled itself in his stomach. He had broken Talia out of prison, he was now an accessory to her; and it only got worse.

He was also letting her stay at his house. His house with his wife and twin girls. He had no concern that Talia would hurt any of them; Talia had reiterated multiple times she wouldn't mess with kids. And she wouldn't touch his wife, her and Talia had become fast friends about a eighteen months ago and both enjoyed each other's company.

No. What he was worried about what other things. The first being that he knew the FBI would be looking for her; they probably already were. And they would eventually connect her with him and it would snowball from there. He didn't want to be involved in this anymore then he already was and he had regretted doing so since he had first laid eyes on that blonde.

But Talia had delivered as promised and Bart had to hold up his end of the deal and he crossed his fingers this was it. That him raping a fucking FBI agent, and knowing her location as the FBI desperately looked for her, offered rewards, held press conferences, plastered her face everywhere. And he had know the entire time where she was… and he knew better then to speak.

And now, he had broken the chief officer out of prison… it was only a matter of time before the FBI tracked them down. The long drive home and given him time to think; Talia was only supposed to stay for three nights before the next associate came to transport to the next place. Where? Bart had no idea, and he didn't want to know; he wanted to separate himself as far as he could from this situation.

So, he was planning on surprising his wife and twin daughters with a trip to Australia. Once they were there, then, and only then would he tell Victoria the truth. All of it. He would let her know they could not return to the US… at least not for long time. He just hoped she would understand.

"I bet Victoria will be over the moon when she sees you!" Bart smiled at Talia, parking the truck in the driveway. "She has no idea."

"I am excited to see her. How are the girls?" She asked, sitting back in her seat.

"They are great; they are right inside. They maybe asleep by now but you never know with toddlers." He shrugged and looked down. "Talia, Victoria still has no idea about how the girls really came to us."

Talia nodded, "I'll keep up my side of the story as long as you keep yours." She replied and watched as Bart nodded before reaching under the seat and handing Talia two sets of gifts.

"Proof you were out of town; guests always bring gifts. You live in Dallas.." he walked her through the story, both nodding as they agreed upon the arranged details. She hadn't seen the twins since their first birthday and she missed them dearly; after all she had been there at their birth. She had delivered them. She had held each one and then handed them off to their father, smiling as she saw they were indeed healthy. Twin girls. Twin identical girls and she couldn't wait to go inside and love on them.

Talia nodded as she followed Bart inside and was met with an excited scream and was blindsided by a force of nature she wasn't ready for.

"Oh my God! Talia! What are you doing here?" Victoria jumped up and down in excitement, tears in her green eyes.

Talia laughed, "I wanted to surprise you! It's been so long, Bart and I devised this little plan about a week ago and it all just came together." She shrugged, following Victoria into the kitchen.

"I just cannot believe you are here! Oh my God! Bart told me you got your transplant and I have been meaning to call and send flowers," Victoria rambled on as she poured three glasses of wine for them.

"I did; it was a miracle actually. I don't know much but the donor was exceptionally healthy; I have had no complications and really bounced back fairly easy. "

Victoria shook her head, "wow, did you get to meet the donor's family?"

Talia shook her head, "No; they've asked to remain anonymous and of course I will respect that. I would love to thank them one day; they gave me a second chance."

Victoria sniffed and rubbed her eyes. "Speaking of second chances;" Victoria stood up and went to the back room, she came back a minute later holding two tiny toddlers in her arms. "Girls, look who is here," she said softly, kissing each on the head. Neither moved and Victoria rolled her eyes, "they went out like a light about five minutes before you got here." She lifted her arm and gestured for Talia to take one, "Take Bexley for me," she whispered and handed the baby over.

"Oh sweetheart," Talia reached over and gently took the sleeping toddler from her mother and placed her on her chest, patting her back. "They've grown;" she whispered.

Victoria nodded, "they have; they are still so tiny though." She paused for a moment, "Talia, I still cannot thank you enough. I am so sorry that you lost your sister but…" Victoria smiled and closed her eyes, "but thank you."

Talia nodded as she glanced down at Bexley, "Jen wanted these babies so much; she was so ecstatic to welcome them." She shook her head, "but that drunk driver… both Jen and Mike were killed but the doctors were able to save the girls. I was already in the will as the girls guardian so they came to me. Jen never knew, but I was already in heart failure; when I got the call, I knew I couldn't take care of them. But I remembered talking to Bart and how he told me you and him were trying to adopt and I just knew it was right."

Victoria looked down again at her twin daughters. "We want you to stay in their lives,"

"Of course," Talia replied, looking around at the photos of the happy family plastered all around the home. "I wouldn't have it any other way. Bexley and Quinn are lucky to have you," Talia reached down and ran her palm across Bexley's cheek. "Her hair is gorgeous; the blonde is just so… Jen."

Victoria nodded, "One day, they will hear the story of how they came to us. They grew in my heart but in Jen's tummy."

And Talia nodded, internally rolling her eyes. The girls would grow up knowing the story… just not the correct version.
