Mikey, Ash, Nene and Christopher holds their Fusion Loaders out as OmniShoutmon, Alphamon and ZekeGreymon land behind them, and soon the rest of all the team appears.
The group is looking at the next land they're in a desert like land.
"So this is CanyonLand huh, what no welcoming party, guess they weren't excepting us, but the Dark General behind those gates is gonna wish he'd never met me." Christopher said thinking they had this fight in the bag.
"Where are your scouts now Monitamon, let's check in with them." Mikey said as the others were around Monitamon.
"They've just reached the gate, as soon as they climb the wall they'll switch on the live fee and than we'll be able to see exactly what they see." Monitamon said as around the gate, two other Monitamon's were jumping on the rocks.
"Almost there now." Monitamon 2 said as they made it.
"What, why do you always get to be on top?" Monitamon 3 said as the second got on his shoulders to see.
"Quiet, I'm sending this back to the others." Monitamon 2 said as the others saw what was on the screen, see a bunch of Digimon there.
"This General has a serious army." Shoutmon said seeing how many Digimon there were beyond the gate.
"Yeah, no kidding." Dorumon said knowing their was a lot.
"I though Olegmon had a lot of guys but this is nuts." Mikey said seeing that this General had more guys than Olegmon had.
"This is gonna be tough." Ash added in as Christopher snorted.
"What are you so afraid of, so he's got a flock of Hippogriffomon, hundreds of Cerberusmon and a hoard of Endigomon, so what, all that really matters is the Dark General himself Gravimon, the earth Spirit, defeat him, and the rest will be easy and I'll finally win." Christopher said as Gravimon on screen started to talk with him having black long hair and metal over his eyes.
"Soldiers, we have all heard the rumors, the story is true, the invaders have conquered GoldLand and even now they approach our gates, when the enemy sees the fearsome might of my army, they will most likely retreat rather than fight us, but if not than we will mercilessly crush them." Gravimon stated out to his soldiers as they cheered.
Christopher smirked hearing this.
Later, the sky turned dark.
"Going head on against an army that size would be crazy." Mikey said around a fire they made.
"We have to come up with something." Ash said trying to think.
"What if we disguised ourselves and sneak in, the way we did it in VampireLand?" Nene asked thinking that old trick would work again.
"Our enemy knows about that lame tactic by now, I'll take the lead on this one." Christopher said with smugness in his tone.
"Oh really, just like that." Shoutmon said.
"Sounds like you've got a plan figured out, tell us." Mikey said wanting to hear what Christopher has to offer.
"There's only one thing we need to win this battle." Christopher said.
"Quit it with the drama queen act, just tell us!" Shoutmon stated wanting to know already.
"Strategy." Was all Christopher said.
"Strategy." Shoutmon and Dorumon repeated.
"Ya think." Mikey and Ash said.
"Yep, that's about it and when you hear my plan you'll understand what I'm talking about." Christopher said.
In a few moments, Christopher had his plan drawn out in the ground.
"Here's Gravimon's wall, we're out where the X is and there are two narrow canyons that lead to the front gate, now first up is Nene, Nene you'll attack from the air, as a response Gravimon will sent out his flying Hippogiffomon, Mikey and Ash attacks next, sends the fastest fighters you have down the right canyon, that will force Gravimon to use his fastest defenders, the Cerberusmon, then you're strongest forces go in, down the Canyon on the left, Gravimon will have to commit his strongest fighters, the Endigomon to go up against you." Christopher explained to the entire group.
"Hey, wait a sec, where's Blue Flare?" Shoutmon said not hearing where they fit into all this.
"Heh, don't worry about us, with all his forces out fighting you, Gravimon himself will be an easy target and I'm gonna take him down." Christopher said throwing the last of his rocks down.
"Hey no fair, why should we fight hundreds and leave you the General?" Shoutmon said thinking they were getting the short end of the stick here.
"Plus I'm worried that we're not gonna last very long if we all have to fight separably like that." Nene said thinking about this as Christopher slammed his foot down.
"10 minutes, 10 minutes is all we're gonna need out there, if you can hold Gravimon's forces for that long, I guarantee, one less General." Christopher stated with his Fusion Loader out.
"And, what if we can't hold them off for that long?" Dorulumon questioned.
"Yes, what if we're all destroyed instead, it's too dangerous." Nene said thinking the plan was too dangerous and could end badly.
"Pathetic, the battle hasn't even started yet and you're already thinking about losing, your hopeless, I don't have any time for losers, I'll fight them on my own." Christopher said walking away.
"What you say?" Shoutmon questioned.
"You heard me." Christopher responded back.
"Christopher, why are you in such a hurry to fight?" Mikey asked out to him as he stopped walking.
"Because I can see the goal now, the only way to win is to rely on my true nature and nothing else." Christopher said.
"Okay, and what does that mean?" Ash asked wondering what he was talking about.
"It means victory alone isn't enough, I need to prove to everyone that I'm the strongest." Christopher told looking at them from over his shoudler.
"But why?" Mikey asked.
"You wouldn't get it." Christopher said thinking their was no point in telling them.
"I just think defeating the Bagra Army should be our main goal here." Mikey said thinking that was why everybody was hear together.
'That's your goal, you can think of it anyway you want too, but just remember I'm here to make a crystal clear who the strongest General is so don't get in my way, you're with me or against me." Christopher said as he fully turned towards them.
Mikey and Ash could clearly see the smug look on his face.
"You've got a lot of nerve!" Shoutmon said as he couldn't believe what Christopher was saying.
"He really does!" Dorumon said feeling mad at the words being thrown around.
"Yeah, what's with you Christopher?" Nene asked wondering what was with the blonde haired General.
"Alright, fair enough, let's go." Mikey said agreeing to the plan.
"Yeah, let's get this over with." Ash said agreeing as well making the others gasp.
"Have you lost your mind Mikey?" Shoutmon asked wondering what was going through Mikey's head.
"I'm thinking the same about you Ash." Dorumon said thinking there was something wrong with his partner.
"Didn't you hear him." Shoutmon asked.
"I still have faith in Christopher, he is still on our side, we got this far together and I'm not quitting on him." Mikey stated.
"Yeah, me neither, he's not our enemy so we shouldn't treat him like him like he is." Ash said in his own way.
"Heh smart idea." Christopher said with the same smug look as Mikey and Ash walked towards him.
"Okay, we're go along with your plan Christopher, we're attack separability to draw out Gravimon's forces and keep them busy while you go in on your own and take him down, let's conquer CanyonLand together." Mikey said pulling out his Fusion Loader and pointing it towards the sky.
"Yeah, we'll put an end to the Dark General here." Ash said pulling out his Fusion Loader and pointing it to the sky as well.
The Fusion Loaders together created the flag they all share in the sky.
"Oh aren't you tough, Christopher, two arms." Gravimon ordered as the Anubismon held up their arms.
"Yes sir." The Anubismon said as their bracelets glowed and opened the gates.
"Let's see what these invaders are made of." Gravimon said as the soldiers started walking and or flying out of the gate.
Nene on top of Sparrowmon flew towards them.
"I sure hope Christopher knows what he's doing." Nene said as they see the Hippogiffomon.
"Incoming Nene, and their's a lot of them." Sparrowmon said as Nene pulled out her Fusion Loader.
"I know, I see em, just like Christopher said, let's go!" Nene said as they went ahead.
On the ground, Mikey, Shoutmon, Ash and Dorumon were riding on Ballistamon as he went fast.
"There they go, be careful Nene." Mikey said seeing them go off.
"I would say Nene could handle this but after what happened last time, I don't know." Ash said holding out his staff from CyberLand just in case.
"Phase one has begun, the war in the sky." Christopher said seeing sparks and explosions going off where Nene and Sparrowmon were.
"Almost through them Nene, now what?" Sparrowmon asked.
"Take us up!" Nene said quickly.
"Roger that, just say when Nene!" Sparrowmon said as she wanted for the signal.
"That's high enough, Digifuse time." Nene said as she jumped off Sparrowmon.
"Okay!" Sparrowmon said flying towards the Hippogiffomon.
"Reload now Mervamon." Nene called out as he held out her Fusion Loader.
Mervamon appeared above Sparrowmon.
"Sparrowmon, Mervamon, DigiFuse!" Nene called out as the two Digimon fused together.
"JetMervamon!" JetMervamon called out as she was ready to fight.
She caught Nene and flew up.
"Alright, go get em!" Nene stated to her fused friend.
"Medullia Mist!" JetMervamon called out as a mist appeared and the Hippogiffomon that went into it was defeated but more just kept coming.
"There's to many of them, if we don't get help we're finished." Nene said as she noticed somebody out in the open.
MetalGreymon.
"Christopher, just in time." Nene thought as she was glad for the help.
"That's right Nene, way to gather the enemy into a nice fat target for me." Christopher thought as MetalGreymon flew around the gathered enemy.
"Giga Blaster!" Christopher ordered as MetalGreymon started firing on the Hippogiffomon.
"Why is he firing, doesn't he know we're still in here!" Nene said as she covered herself along with JetMervamon.
The explosion cleared all of the Hippogiffomon as Nene and JetMervamon came out of the smoke.
"What's wrong with you, we're lucky you didn't blow us up too!" Nene stated to the blonde haired boy.
"What are you whining about, you're still flying now get back to work we're not done yet." Christopher said flying off as Dorulumon running on the ground with Beelzemon and CresGarurumon following behind.
"The enemies just ahead, get ready!" Beelzemon stated as they got closer.
He was right as they saw Cerberusmon show up just in time.
"Let's get em!" Dorulumon said rushing towards them.
"Right!" CresGarurumon stated as the clashed with the Cerberusmon.
"Hmm the ground battle's begun already, phase two underway." Christopher said as he watched the battle.
Dorulumon, Beelzemon and CresGarurumon beat as many as they could as Christopher saw an opening.
"That's enough of them to make an attack worth it, Deckerdramon, let's go get em!" Christopher stated as he held out his Fusion Loader and Deckerdramon came out.
He jumped from MetalGreymon to Deckerdramon and they headed down.
"Fire into the rock walls above them!" Christopher ordered as Deckerdramon fired his missiles.
They hit the walls, making rocks come down as the group noticed them.
"What's this!" Dorulumon questioned as Cutemon panicked.
"Barrier Dome!" Cutemon called out creating a barrier around the four Digimon as the rocks fell on top.
"That should do it, let's go!" Christopher said as Deckerdramon returned to the Fusion Loader and he jumped back onto MetalGreymon and they headed off.
Beelzemon and CresGarurumon lifted off the rocks on the group.
"What is wrong with that kid?" Dorulumon asked wondering what the heck was with Christopher.
They heard growling and knew it was the Cerberusmon.
"Uh oh, we didn't get em all." Cutemon said knowing they were in trouble.
"Now to find Mikey and Ash, I can hardly wait to see what they're up to." Christopher said looking at the forest below.
(Scene change)
With said Red and White Generals, Ballistamon, Shoutmon and Dorumon slid pass Endigomon's quietly.
"You're just gonna hide from them all day?" Christopher questioned feeling annoyed by this.
"We've gonna keep moving around and confusing them guys." Mikey said as he and the others hid behind some trees as Ballistamon slid some more.
"The longer we can avoid a fight, the better our chances are." Ash added in making Shoutmon grumble.
"Okay but it goes against all my instincts, I just want to pound them." Shoutmon said as he wanted to attack.
"Calm down Shoutmon." Dorumon said calming down his friend.
Suddenly they heard something above them.
They looked up to see MetalGreymon flying above.
"Huh!" Mikey and Ash said seeing him launch his Giga Blaster down.
In a second there was a big explosion.
"I'd rather blow them all up, better than hiding like a coward." Christopher said thinking this was better.
Down below, the forest was on fire from the attack.
"Christopher's trying to burn down the forest!" Mikey said as Ballistamon slid around with his behind on fire.
Suddenly the ground shook surprising them.
"Oh no we're sinking!" Shoutmon called out as the ground broke apart and they all started falling and they screamed.
"I'm coming Mikey!" Dorulumon called out as he came out of nowhere and jumped into the hole.
"Dorulumon perfect timing, DigiFusion, Shoutmon, Ballistamon, Dorulumon, Starmon, Pickmon, DigiFuse!" Mieky called out as the Fusion Loader sent out a bright light.
"Shoutmon X4!" Shoutmon X4 called out.
The Endigomon fell into the water below.
Shoutmon jumped from one wall to the other with everyone on his shoulders.
"That was cutting it pretty close Mikey, not to many of them left, I got this." Shoutmon said holding up his sword.
"Alright, Christopher, do you want to win so bad you don't care who gets hurt?" Mikey asked as he sees Christopher flying off.
"I think that answer is little obvious Mikey." Ash said also seeing Christopher leave the area.
"Let's keep moving, alright, that takes of most of Gravimon's troops, so now I'll take care of him, alright MetalGreymon!" Christopher called out as they flew towards the gate.
They see it with red electricity above it.
"Heh, I see, closing up the gates are you General, too late for that, open or shut I'm coming for a visit, it won't be that easy, Reload Deckerdramon, break the door down!" Christopher called out as Deckerdramon came out of the Fusion Loader.
Deckerdramon rammed the gate hard causing a huge shock.
When it cleared, MetalGreymon flew inside.
"Surrender of be destroyed Gravimon!" Christopher stated to the Dark General of this Land.
"Heh, such arrogance." Gravimon said with a small chuckle.
"You're gonna regret you said that, get off your throne and face me, what are you afraid of General, Digi-deFuse!" Christopher called out as MetalGreymon defused into Greymon and MailBirdramon and attacked the two Anubismon's that appeared in front.
Christopher headed towards Gravimon.
"Really, you're attacking me only with your pathetic little body?" Gravimon asked as cables appeared and went towards Christopher.
Christopher smirked and moved to the side where a certain Digimon appeared.
"Cyberdramon!" Christopher called out as Cyberdramon grabbed the cables and used them to tie up Gravimon instead.
"No way!" Gravimon stated surprised by this.
"You're making this too easy, DigiFuse, MailBirdramon, Greymon!" Christopher called out as the two fused again.
"MetalGreymon!" MetalGreymon called out as he was back.
"MetalGreymon, Digivolve!" Christopher called out holding out his Fusion Loader.
"MetelGreymon Digivolve to...ZekeGreymon!" ZekeGreymon called out as he Digivolved.
Christopher landed on his back.
"At last, his full power is revealed." Gravimon said.
"Attack." Christopher ordered as ZekeGreymon charged.
ZekeGreymon attacked Gravimon making a bright light appear.
It cleared in smoke.
"That did it!" Christopher said thinking that was the end of it.
Mikey, Ash and the others went running towards them.
"Christopher." Mikey called out to him as Christopher landed.
"We finally won it all, or should I say, I have won it all, ZekeGreymon finish him off." Christopher ordered ZekeGreymon went to do it but...
"Nice try General, all that effort for nothing." Gravimon said as his body was turned into black flames.
"No way." Christopher said as Gravimon's chair turned to data.
"I'm sorry to tell you but everything so far has happened exactly the way I planned it." Gravimon said as he disappeared from sight.
"Christopher, you said you finished him but he doesn't look done." Shoutmon said.
"No kidding and he said he planned this." Dorumon seeing the wall behind the once throne coming down.
"What's happening?" Mikey asked.
"No idea." Ash responded as Christopher looked on.
They all see Gravimon on top of something.
"The forces you defeated were only a small faction of my troops humans." Gravimon said as the walls came down farther.
"Oh no." Christopher said as they saw more troops.
"Now you see a sight few have witness before, the full might of my entire unstoppable army." Gravimon told as new Digimon from the down wall came marching.
Christopher looked horrified at this.
"This is way more than too many." Shoutmon and Dorumon said as they were surrounded.
"No kidding." Mikey and Ash said seeing the number of Digimon.
"Now what, we're surrounded Mikey?" Shoutmon asked as they all had their backs pressed to each other.
"Christopher, what are you doing, can't you see it's hopeless?" Mikey asked as Christopher's hand shook and held up his Fusion Loader.
"Never, I am the strongest, I will never quit!" Christopher called out.
"Christopher no, you can't win!" Mikey called out to him.
"Think about what you're doing!" Ash added in.
"Attack ZekeGreymon!" Chirstopher ordered as ZekeGreymon charged.
"Their's no chance, we need to retreat now!" Mikey stated to the blonde boy.
"I'd rather do anything then accept failure, besides I can still win this!" Christopher stated.
"Well, you're either very brave or a very slow learner." Gravimon said confident.
"The only one's who's gonna learn is you!" Christopher retorted.
"This is over Christopher." Gravimon said.
"I'll show you that their's no one stronger than me!" Christopher stated as his eyes glowed purple.
"I see the darkness inside you, that's it let it shallow you Christopher, let the darkness engulf your heart, High Gravity Grip!" Gravimon called out as he extended his arms and hands and enclosed ZekeGreymon in them.
"No he's got him." Christopher said as he sees what happened.
"Surely now you can accept that you have lost yes." Gravimon said as he opened his hands and Greymon and MailBirdramon fell to the ground.
"I lost, that can't be true." Christopher said with a fear in his tone seeing his partners down.
"Christopher." Mikey said as his Squawker beeped getting his attention.
"Mikey, Ash, what's up, did we win?" Nene asked over the squawker.
"Not even close Nene, where are you right now." Mikey asked as they saw a light in the sky.
"We're just above you, what happened, do you need help?" Nene asked seeing the group below.
"I want you to attack our position." Mikey said getting Nene's eyes wide.
"What, are you kidding me." Nene said thinking this was crazy.
"It's our only chance of escape, you've got to believe it, use the Madness Merry-Go-Round, do it now Nene." Ash said added in as he got close to the Squawker.
Gravimon looked up in surprise.
"Madness Merry-Go-Round!" JetMervamon called out as she used the attack to spin around the group and the ground broke apart.
"Yeah man we're out of here!" Mikey called out as they all fell below.
The ground closed back up and they were gone.
"My, a clever tactic but you left one behind." Gravimon said as he held Christopher in his cables.
"Mikey, Ash." Christopher said before passing out.
(Scene change)
Shoutmon grabbed onto land and pulled himself out of the water.
"Ugh, back in water again." Shoutmon said hating the water.
"Yeah, but aren't you glad we got away from Gravimon's army?" Mikey asked hanging onto the wall.
"So you knew this underground river was down here?" Nene asked to the goggle headed boy.
"We did, we fell into it before when Christopher blew up the forest, uh hey wait where is he?" Mikey asked not seeing Christopher around.
"He's not here, we must've missed him somehow." Dorumon said thinking they missed him by mistake.
"Or else Gravimon..." Ash said trailing off having a pretty good idea where Christopher is.
(Scene change)
Christopher was somewhere.
"Christopher." A voice said making Christopher's eyes open.
He looked to see a locket with a picture of a blonde man and women with a young Christopher, making him awaken fully.
(Flashback)
"I'm disappointed in you, you lost and proved you were weak and I've already told you many times that you need to be strong, only the strong survive and no one respects a loser." Christopher's father said and walked away.
"Father no." Christopher cried out to him.
"You are nothing back a loser Christopher." Christopher's father said.
(Flashback ends)
"Father." Christopher said as he reached for the locket.
Only for a hand to pick it up instead.
"I'll take that, darkness I can see it deep in your heart." Gravimon said as Christopher saw him.
"Gravimon, stop what are you doing!" Christopher questioned as he backed into a wall and pulled out his Fusion Loader.
Gravimon grabbed his hand.
"Easy now, I just have a little story I wanted to share with you, that's all." Gravimon said calmly.
"What story?" Christopher asked keeping his guard up.
"Well, did you know that Lord Bagra was the one who called you to the Digital World in the first place?" Gravimon asked.
"You're lying." Christopher denied.
"He was interested in you because he had heard of your strength, he even planned to make you one of his Dark Generals." Gravimon said making Christopher stiff up.
"Bagra, he wants to have me for a General?" Christopher stated.
"Ho oh, not anymore, not now, not since you recklessly challenged me and lost everything, if it hasn't been for Mikey Kudo and Ash Ketchem's leadership, your entire force would've been wiped out." Gravimon said making this clear.
"Mikey and Ash, but they are both cowards." Christopher said standing up.
"Do you still not understand what I'm saying." Gravimon said.
"What?" Christopher questioned with bite in his tone.
"The only enemy of the Bagra empire left standing is the Red and White Generals Mikey Kudo and Ash's Ketchem, their's no place for a weakling like you in the Digital World." Gravimon said with his face unseeingable.
"Me, you're saying I'm weak, you don't need me?!" Christopher said hearing this and feeling horrified.
"I told you, the weak are beneath content, only the strong survive and no one respects a loser, you are weak." Gravimon said as Christopher sees his father face.
"You are a loser Christopher." Christopher's father said and Christopher loses it.
"NOOOO!" Christopher screams out and stops and goes to his hands and knees.
"Hmm, guess that's the end of the story." Gravimon said about to walk away.
"No, I don't want to be a loser, I don't want to be weak, I can change, I can find a way, I'll get stronger, I'll do anything, I'll do whatever it takes." Christopher said picking his head up.
"Hmm interesting, anything you say?" Gravimon asked as Christopher stood up.
"Yes, anything at all, anything to show that I'm not weak." Christopher said with a dark tone.
"Hmm, then prove it to me, prove it by defeating a worthy opponent, yes defeat the Red and White Generals Mikey Kudo and Ash Ketchem." Gravimon said going back and waving Christopher's locket in his face.
"Mikey and Ash huh, it has to happen eventually I guess, alright then I'll defeat Mikey and Ash if that's what it takes prove my strength once and for all." Christopher said as he grabbed the locket and Gravimon laughed.
(Scene change)
Mikey, Ash and the others ran towards the light at the end of the tunnel.
"Hang on Christopher we're coming back for you." Mikey said heading for the light.
"Let's hope we're not too late." Ash said as they all jumped into the light.
They ended up outside on solid ground.
"Christopher, we're back, where are you?" Mikey called out as MetalGreymon flew in front of the sunlight.
"There he is." Ash said seeing MetalGreymon.
"He must've escaped from Gravimon." Shoutmon said.
"Maybe, but something doesn't feel right." Dorumon said having a bad feeling.
"Christopher, we came back for you." Mikey called out seeing Christopher.
"Too bad, because now I'm going to destroy you." Christopher said holding up his Fusion Loader.
"You what?" Mikey and Ash said.
"Giga Blaster!" Christopher ordered.
MetalGreymon charged at the attack as Christopher smirked darkly.
"No one will ever call me a loser again after this." Christopher said with the dark smirk.

Ash: Hey guys, my pal Mikey has the data of a Digimon we know, take it away Mikey.

Shows Data of Dinorexmon.
Mikey: This isn't just any Dinosaur type Digimon, it's the strongest one of them all, his attacks include Splatter Hunting and Ogre Flame, extremely high temperature stuff.
Monitamon shows up wearing a wig.
Monitamon: I know him, it's Dinorexmon, you can tell by the super long talons, believe me, you don't wanna get in the way of those things.
Monitamon 2 and 3 show up with 3 being dressed like a girl.

Hey guys, DragonForceAsh here with another update for ya.
The group arrives in CanyonLand where Christopher is strangely content with this.
They spy on the gate ahead and see the Dark General of this Land.
Gravimon.
He gives out a speech to his troops while the others come up with a plan of their own.
Christopher gives out his own plan and some of them aren't not liking it but Mikey and Ash agrees.
When it starts, things look like it's going well.
Until Christopher attacks where most of them are, hitting his allies.
Mikey and Ash and their group survives the attack while Christopher attacks Gravimon.
In a surprising move, it looks like the job is done, but gets a surprise of his own.
Gravimon shows them the rest of his troops and the others have no choice but to retreat.
Gravimon captures Christopher and brings him to his base.
He explains about a story and that angers Christopher to attack the others in a attempt to prove he's not a weakling.
Has Christopher truly gone to the dark side?
Will this attack cause a betrayal?
