IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT IN AUTHOR'S NOTE
-Start-
I quickly had Kaminari use LD Thunder to stun the Zombies around us so we can get away. They became paralyzed long enough for us to get away but the duration was much shorter then usual, must be because there stronger and faster. We decided to strafe them until the others arrived, Megumin made her entrance with an explosion. It took out around a dozen Zombies but the gap was quickly filled in by the ever increasing horde coming over the wall. As I thought Megumin seems to be the best way to deal with this type of Raid, big radius with big damage. The outer edges of the explosion only nicked the others though, usually they would lose an arm or leg and become much less dangerous.
The others soon arrived and I realized how bad this situation might be. Kaminari would do pretty ok with his AOE paralyzing Skill but when he eventually ran out of Mana he would get dragged down in the swarm. Metagross was doing pretty well right now with the other Golem but his Skill would be close to useless in this situation and he wouldn't even heal without me leading the Zombies to the base to get some iron. Bruce should do fine but he didn't have the ability to take out swathes of mobs like Metagross with his short arms, he can't even use a weapon for fricks sake. Megumin was definitely in the best situation with her hiding in the shadows but I can't rely on her doing all the work, they might catch on to her location if I don't distract them.
I get off Kaminari and I get Bruce to get on him, he was much less maneuverable them me so he needs it more. He can take out some stragglers trying to get on Kaminari as well, he can 2 or 3 shot them with some solid punches. Having high STR was nothing to laugh about, he could probably insta-kill me with one of those punches.
I don't even want to talk about the Acid Zombies.
[Acid Zombie]
[Description:A uncommon type of Zombie that suffers from endless amounts of acid coming out of its bones. It's believed that they were once normal but have had all their blood turned to acid from experimentation. Mostly used for testing and finding holes in the armor of other forces, their acidic properties make them perfect to make holes in walls for more troops.]
The System wasn't lying to me as they, all 2 of them, came through the wall together and a couple of Zombies came through now the hole now and again. Thankfully it seems that there were only two, I can only imagine if a bigger hole was made and the Zombies didn't have the delay of coming over the wall. They seem to be content with their shuffling so I don't have to worry about them constantly hound us though, acid doesn't make you faster I suppose.
Building up the wall wouldn't be worth it as they might going for the hole more or just go to the others and unintentionally pincer us. My biggest problem right now though is the two main bosses, if I try to bottleneck the Zombies then they'll just come over and take us out with our backs turned. My other biggest problem with that plan is how I should take them out, most likely the person that attacks them will receive acidic backlash. I might have to have Metagross hold on to them with his Skill, one for each arm.
But I can just test them out a little bit.
I get Bruce to send over one of his Zombie subordinates, fully decked out in iron armor. I also equipped them with a sword and shield, if their slow then why not just add on some extra weight for a much more dangerous mob. Said Zombie soon heads over to one of the Acid Zombie's location, they seem to be going for the nearest target like other Zombies. The Zombie wades through the other few enemies that dare to go near the Acid Zombie and soon arrives in front of them. A perfect iron sword was swung upon the creature and broke through some flesh before it was started melting.
The Acid Zombie gave it's attention to that, it seems to have a level of sentience as it begins to wrap its arms around the sword. The sword dug into the body further but didn't come out on the other side like it should've, the soldier Zombie backed away when it saw the approaching doom of the Acid Zombie. The sword was taken with it and as I thought it was almost melted down to the hilt, making it more of a dagger now.
I get Kaminari to distract the Acid Zombie away from the soldier Zombie, my testing complete.
The Acid Zombie was unfortunately smarter than I thought, it's tactic was to encroach upon the victim until they were dissolved to death. They knew of how to use their abilities well, I can't even ponder this further as my forces are slowly but surely being overwhelmed.
I have to do something about this, we would suffer serious losses at this rate.
I quickly ditch the plan of taking on the Acid Zombie's, I can have Kaminari lure them around. I have Metagross and his buddy take on the bottom of the wall in front of the hole the Acid Zombie's made, the other soldier Zombies backing them up. This should do for now, their combined forces should hold on long enough. I get Megumin to start bombing the densest part of the Zombie invasion, the pile that lets them get up and over the wall.
I decide to get Bruce to come with me, me and him are gonna team up to take on the enemies already inside the castle. I say that but it'll be mostly me keeping an eye out for him while he takes down the Zombies one at a time. I give Kaminari a pattern so he can draw the aggro of the most amount of Zombies so too many don't swarm us and to not use LD Thunder unless its absolutely necessary.
Megumins bombing should do the trick for now, my plan hinges Kaminari not getting to overwhelmed with lots of Zombies but still keeping them off me and Bruce.
-End-
Authors Note:Remember when I said the schedule should be normal for now...
I swear its only for like a week. I have a family reunion to go to and I can't bring my laptop due to it wouldn't even having connection where i'm going. I might be able to pump out a single chapter but it would have to be on my phone so no promises.
Sorry about this.

ShadowKing241:*Laughs in buffed mobs*. Well see. Let's just say he has a bit of a following that wouldn't like that very much.
mylovik:Stuff like this literally inspires me to get at a decent time so I can write so thanks for the support. (Hopefully when I get flamed I won't go into a coma from shock tho)
