This chapter is kind of sexual so if you're not comfortable with that you can skip it and just message me and I'll summarize what happened!

The car pulled up into Ophelia's driveway quietly. The expensive breaks too new to make a single squeak as he pulled to a stop. He turned the car off, and for a moment, there was only awkward silence.

It was getting dark now. Ophelia's father would expect her home any minute.

Ophelia took off her seatbelt. "I should head in."

Zach nodded, not making eye contact. "Yeah. Of course."

She saw his hesitation and frigidness.

Ophelia debated on saying anything. "Hey..." He didn't look over. "It's okay."

He just nodded.

"Really," she told him, "I hear that can happen to boys. Especially if they play sports and they're stressed out-"

"No," he said quickly, "It's never happened before. Ever."

Ophelia shut her mouth. Her lips formed a straight line. "Alright."

They stayed seated for a few more moments.

"I'm sorry," Ophelia said, suddenly.

Now Zach looked at her. "It wasn't your fault, Ophelia. Trust me, you were not the problem."

She gave a forced smile. "But it's never happened before? Just with me?"

Zach felt terrible. He reached out for her, "Ophelia-"

She leaned away. She grabbed onto his car door handle. "It's alright. I should be heading in."

She pushed the door open. Zach opened his door quickly, meeting her before she got to the door.

"Hey, Ophelia. I'm serious."

"No, I get it," she told him. "You're not the one that should be embarrassed."

"I-"

"I'll see you tomorrow, Zach."

Ophelia walked into her house and shut the door behind her before he could get another word out. Zach stood there, ashamed and embarrassed before eventually heading home.

Ophelia's father greeted her from the living room. "How was school, mija?"

Ophelia forced herself to give a happy answer. "It was good. I'm gonna go shower and do homework."

"Alright," he said. He was watching a soccer game on television. He paid her no mind as she trudged upstairs and into her bathroom.

She ripped off her dress, taking a makeup wipe and scrubbing at her face. She looked at herself in the mirror. She stood in her underwear. Matching black. She examined her body. She reached behind her, and unclipped her bra. It fell to the ground, and she dropped her panties also.

She looked only for a few minutes. Then she started crying.

Ophelia turned the shower water on, to drown out her voice. Steam rose from her shower head and eventually fogged up the mirror, preventing herself from staring into it any longer. Maybe that was a good thing.

Ophelia recalled back in November, before her and Zach were dating, when she discovered Bryce had sent him a scandalous picture of her in a bikini.

Her breasts looked so large in the picture. That must have been what he was expecting. And when he actually saw her naked...it must have been such a disappointment. Ophelia cried harder.

She recalled their tangled, naked bodies. Zach kissing her, licking her skin. He caressed her breasts, and gazed at her body like she was beautiful.

But even though he could lie, his body couldn't.

He had been inside her. Zach had pushed himself in her, and both of them shared a moment of ecstasy and lust.

But she wasn't enough for him.

She recalled the feeling of when it happened. She thought he had pulled out of her, but he was so close he couldn't have.

Zach had pulled out then, suddenly. He tried to turn to hide himself, but Ophelia already saw it. He was soft again. He had gone from hard to soft while inside her.

She had watched him touch himself, and try to force himself hard again. But it didn't work.

"Just give me a minute."

Ophelia gave him several. She tried her hardest not to cry as she began redressing herself, realizing she did not have the ability to turn him back on. Her naked body could not keep her boyfriend hard long enough to have sex with him.

Did she smell bad? Is that what happened? Or was it just her skinny body, lacking all features that men found appealing? No breasts, no ass. Just a pretty face on an ugly body. At least she was pretty in clothes. That why Zach had fallen for her.

Zach spend almost ten minutes touching himself. He wouldn't look at her while doing it. Ophelia knew why. Her body would only make the situation worse.

Ophelia stepped in the shower, but she did not have the energy to stay standing. She sat down, legs brought up to her chest. She was so ugly.

It had never happened before. It had never fucking happened before. Zach was scrubbing a pot in front of him. He was scrubbing with force, maybe too hard.

Last night had been the most embarrassing night of his life.

Ophelia wanted to have sex with him. He had been wanting this for so long. And Zach let her down. He had no idea that could even happen to him. Zach was hard before they even got in the house. Actually, he was hard as soon as she told him she was considering sleeping with him while they were still in the car. As they kissed, and touched each other, he only became more and more aroused.

He recalled taking her dress off. He had unbuttoned it slowly, his shaking, excited fingers unable to grab the small buttons with haste. She was so beautiful, so sexy. She let him see her naked, and Zach let her see him entirely.

Zach had never experienced the feeling the he felt when he went inside her, when he made her his. It was different than with Hannah, it was better. Because Hannah happened quickly, like she was in a rush. But Ophelia made him wait...he had been anticipating it, masturbating to the thought of it. But because inside her was better than any masturbation.

He recognized immediately that this was already the best sex he ever had. Each stroke was a new wave of pleasure. Montgomery told him Ophelia liked to fuck rough but Zach didn't think so. He was going slowly, and he could see her arching her back in pleasure. The sounds she was making confirming her feelings.

And then he realized. They were having sex. And he hadn't told her about Hannah.

Dread filled him in that moment.

Zach was already inside of her. He was already fucking her. Zach had fucked Ophelia without telling her he had done the same with Hannah, her former best friend.

It stopped feeling good for him. Ophelia stopped making noise. He pulled out of her and hid himself. He saw he was almost completely soft.

He tried to jerk off a bit, trying anything to bring his erection back. He wanted it so bad.

But it was too late. Zach hated himself too much to be turned on again. Each time he tried to look at Ophelia, he was just reminded how much he betrayed her.

"Barry emailed me last night."

Zach had been washing dishes to take his mind off the night before. He looked at his mother when she came in the kitchen and started talking to her.

He tried quickly to take his mind off the night before, fearing he would look too guilty in front of his mother.

Was it easy to tell your son fucked his girlfriend the night before?

Tried to fuck his girlfriend the night before?

His mother continued, "He said that it was Bryce's idea. That Bryce emailed you yesterday."

Zach had so many things running through his mind that he had no idea what she was talking about. "Ask me what?" He turned the water off and dried his hands. He crossed his arms over his chest and leaned against the counter.

His mother seemed concerned at his forgetfulness. "If we want to use their lawyer. I'm not gonna let you take the stand without some guidance."

Zach looked down, scratching his head, unfazed.

His mother tried to make him see the seriousness of the trial. "This kind of thing can ruin someone's life even if they're innocent."

Zach shook his head. "I-I know. It's just-" He hated arguing with his mom. "We can find our own lawyer. It's fine."

His mother picked up her phone, scrolling through it with purpose. "This is the kind of thing your father used to handle." She typed something in, and then lifted the phone to her ear. "At times like these we need to benefit from our associations."

Zach began getting a call himself. He picked up quickly, hoping it was Ophelia.

It was almost time for school, and she had told him she didn't want a ride. He was hoping she changed her mind.

He looked at the caller ID. No, just Alex. Zach put the phone away.

"Who is it?" his mother asked him.

Zach lied. "It's just Bryce. He probably wants to get some throws in before practice. I should go."

He grabbed his jacket.

"Okay, honey. And tell him thanks," his mother reminded him.

"Did you get in a fight with your boyfriend?"

Ophelia looked at her dad. "What?"

"He's not picking you up today," he pointed you out. "Did you get in a fight with him?"

Her father had been confused when she asked him to drive her to school instead of Zach.

Ophelia looked down at her hands. She was fidgeting. "No, dad, he's just picking someone else up today. His friend Alex."

Zach was picking up Alex, but of course he wanted to drive her as well. But she didn't want to go with him. She was afraid he would notice she was crying that morning. And she didn't want to talk about the other night either.

"Alex? He's choosing some Alex over my beautiful daughter?"

Was she beautiful?

"Alex just got out of the hospital," she told him. "So he needs a lot of extra help."

Her father said. "Oh. My apologies. I hope he gets better."

They pulled into the Liberty High parking lot. Ophelia was confused when her father parked.

"What are you doing? You can just drop me off." She was nervous suddenly.

"I see Tony," her dad told her, "I'm going to go say hi."

"No, dad. You don't have to!" He already exited the car. "Damn it..."

She scrambled out after him.

"Padilla!"

Tony was walking into school, but turned at the sound of his name. He smiled when greeting her father. He held out his hand to shake his.

"Mr. Tristano, good to see you! I had no idea you were in town."

Ophelia's dad brought him in for a hug. "How is Arturo doing?"

"He's great." Tony was happy to he having the conversation, while Ophelia seemed embarrassed. She hadn't spoken to Tony in months. "I'll let him know you're here."

"Hey, how about you guys come over for dinner next week? Anh and Honor will be back."

Tony said, "I would love that. My parents will love it too. I'll make sure to tell them I saw you."

Ophelia told her dad, "School's about to start, dad. I need to go."

Tony offered, "I'll walk you."

Ophelia didn't want that. But she didn't want to be rude in front of her father. So she forced out a, "Thank you."

Her father shook Tony's hand one last time. "See you, Padilla."

"Take care, Mr. Tristano."

Ophelia watched her father leave, and once she was out of sight, she began walking off without Tony.

"Wait up, Ophelia," he tried to say.

But Ophelia didn't want to speak with him.

"Ophelia, come on. Are you still upset with me?"

Ophelia glanced back at him while she kept walking. "I'm not upset, Tony. I just don't want to talk right now."

"C'mon, we haven't talked in months."

She just said, "There's a reason for that."

He reached out and grabbed her arm. "Oph-"

Ophelia pulled her arm away quickly, flinching away from him. The action was too familiar to her.

Tony felt bad instantly. "I'm sorry. I just-"

"You just what, Tony? Want to make some more promises you can't keep?"

He shook his head. "That's not fair. What I did was right."

"Hannah gave you those tapes in confidence," Ophelia told him, "She didn't want them spread around. She didn't want her parents to know about-"

"Jesus, Ophelia. Do you hear yourself? Stop acting like his isn't about you. You didn't want people knowing your secret and that's it. That's why you're mad I gave the Baker's the tapes."

Ophelia looked to the ground. "I am mad they know about me. But I still don't think you did right by Hannah. She wouldn't have wanted her parents to know she was raped."

Tony was unconvinced. "How would you know?"

Ophelia told him, "There's a reason she didn't leave her parents a note, Tony."

Ophelia started walking again.

He stayed with her. "That's a really selfish way of looking at things."

Ophelia withheld a scoff. "Selfish? Tony, Hannah made the tapes for revenge. Because whoever listens to them is cursed with a type of pain and grievance that never goes away. And you subjected her parents to that."

Tony said, "Is that really what this is about? Hannah? Or is this what happened between us in the city?"

Ophelia did scoff this time. "Come on, Tony."

"No, you come on. What the fuck? I was there for you. I put myself out there for you. And then you never fucking talked to me again."

Ophelia looked ahead, and saw Zach was heading towards them, Alex on his arm.

Ophelia felt the embarrassment of the other night rush over her once again.

"Look, I have to go," she told him. She grabbed the door handle and walked quickly inside.

Tony turned to see that it was Zach that caused her to walk away so quickly. He seemed upset she had went inside already.

Tony shook his head, muttering to himself, "And I thought I always had boyfriend problems."

Ophelia had run into the girls bathroom. She was embarrassed, yes, but she also felt terrible. Why was she hiding from Zach? This couldn't be easy on him either. Wasn't it his manhood that was the problem?

No, it was her.

Ophelia took a deep breath, and used the water from the sink to wipe her face. She should've put makeup on. No wonder he couldn't stay hard around her.

She looked in the mirror, at her breasts. They were so small, so childlike.

She wondered, would he be turned on if they were bigger? Maybe there was a way she could keep her bra on next time, and she could stuff them.

She grabbed a paper towel suddenly. She crumpled it, and attempted to put it in her bra cup. One of the stall doors suddenly opened. Ophelia yanked the paper out, but it was too late.

Chloe stepped out of the stall, clearly seeing Ophelia trying to hide the fact that she was stuffing her bra. Chloe stepped forward and washed her hands. Ophelia had turned bright red. She could feel her face becoming hot.

"I wasn't..." she didn't even know how to finish she was so humiliated.

"It's okay," Chloe told her as she dried her hands off. "I used to do that a lot freshmen year."

Freshmen year. Ophelia didn't think her breasts had grown at all since then. Ophelia glanced at Chloe's breasts. They were bigger than hers, even though she was almost as skinny as Ophelia was.

She was really, really pretty.

Ophelia started breathing heavily. Almost like she was going to cry, but of embarrassment, not sadness.

"Shit, are you okay?" Chloe asked her.

"I'm fine," Ophelia said quickly, "I just...I just want to look nicer."

Chloe frowned. "What do you mean? You're beautiful."

Ophelia felt vain thinking it, but she knew people thought that. Zach told her all the time, as did adults. But that was family members and boyfriends. They had to say that kind of stuff. There was a thing that only one person had called her before.

"I want to be sexy." Ophelia let out an upset groan and gestured go her body. "I don't look sexy like this. Jesus, boys on the football team have bigger boobs than me."

"I think you're sexy," Chloe told quickly, noticing her upset attitude.

Ophelia wondered why she was being so nice to her. Perhaps in Chloe's eyes, they were sort of friends. She often sat and ate lunch at the table. She was dating Bryce, and would mostly just talk to him. But they have had a few conversation. Maybe this could be a friendship if Ophelia tried hard enough.

Ophelia hesitated. "Thanks, Chloe. It's just...I wish Zach thought that."

Chloe was beyond confused that. "Of course he does. Why wouldn't he? Didn't he, like, steal you from Montgomery or some shit? Why would he do that if he didn't think you were sexy?"

Ophelia whipped around to face her. "Zach didn't steal me from Monty. I broke up with him."

"Yeah, but you guys were hooking up before that right?"

Ophelia's face had barely returned to normal color before turning red again. "I...I never hooked up with Zach. I was faithful to Monty."

Chloe was the one who was embarrassed now. "Oh, I'm sorry. Bryce just said-"

"Bryce doesn't know what he's talking about."

There was a silence that lasted a few seconds. Ophelia debated whether or not she should ask what she was thinking. She decided she would. She desperately wanted to know.

"Chloe, has Bryce...ever not been able to...y'know, have sex?"

Chloe's eyes shot open wide. "W-What?"

Ophelia rethought her words. "I just-Has it ever happened? Like, you want to do something but he can't...perform?"

Chloe registered her words. "You mean, like, has he not been able to get hard?"

Ophelia struggled. "Yeah, um, or couldn't, like, stay that way? Like if he was stressed or anything?"

Chloe shook her head slowly. "No, that's never really been a thing for us." She gasped slightly. "Is Zach like that?"

"No!" Ophelia said quickly. "Well, last night he was, but that's the only time. He said it's never happened before. I was just wondering if maybe there was a reason for it. If there was a big game coming up or something." Ophelia suddenly regretted bringing it up. "Shit, please don't tell anyone."

"I won't," Chloe told her. "But me and Bryce kinda hooked up last night too. I don't think he was stressed."

Ophelia looked down, ashamed. "I guess it was just because of me then."

"What? No way!" Chloe kept trying to boost her confidence. "I mean, did anything like that ever happen with Monty?"

Ophelia almost laughed. "No, that's never happened with Monty. I think I had the opposite problem with him. I used to be able to just smile at him and he got turned on."

Ophelia wondered if Zach thought she was as pretty as Montgomery thought she was.

"So it's not you!" Chloe tried to assure her. "Look, maybe it's a problem with Zach."

"But if it's never happened before-"

"You don't even know that's true," Chloe pointed out. "But if you really want to find out...you should try giving him a blowjob."

Ophelia squinted, confused. "Why would I do that?"

"Maybe he was just worried about whether or not you were enjoying it last night and it freaked him out."

"I don't know," Ophelia told her. "I mean, if sex doesn't turn him on how will that?"

"Trust me," Chloe said, "If he can't stay hard during a blowjob then it's not you who's the problem. It's definitely something else."

Ophelia wondered suddenly why Chloe was being so nice to her. Maybe Ophelia had been thinking badly of her just because she had been dating Bryce. Maybe she judged her too quickly.

"Please don't tell anyone," Ophelia repeated. She felt so guilty for bringing it up, but she had to admit the talk helped her.

"I won't," Chloe promised. "And listen, Bryce has a lot of shit he sells. He might have something for...that. If it turns out to be a medical thing."

"Oh, thanks," Ophelia said, just because she wasn't sure what else to.

Ophelia turned away, ready to leave the bathroom.

"Wait," Chloe told her.

Chloe grabbed two paper towels from the dispenser.

"C'mon, I'll show you how to stuff your bra correctly."

Zach finally spotted Ophelia less than ten minutes before first period started. She approached him.

"Hey," she greeted. She leaned against a row of lockers, trying to look sleek and sexy while doing it.

Zach was just relieved to see her and see that she wasn't upset.

"Hey. Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," she told him, running a hair through her hair, trying to look casual while doing it.

Zach's eyes caught sight of her cleavage for a moment. Her shirt was pulled down kinda far, and her breasts looked large that morning. He looked away quickly so she wouldn't see him staring, but she had. She smiled.

"Yeah, but why didn't you want me to drive you to school?" he asked her, still worried she was angry at him for the embarrassing night before.

Ophelia grabbed his hand. "Let's talk about this in there, alright?"

She nodded to a classroom that Zach knew was empty. It was one of the lab classrooms, but it was only used during scheduled labs. Ophelia pulled him inside, and shut the door behind them before anyone was able to notice.

Zach watched as Ophelia locked the door. He was surprised, and curious, as to what she was doing.

"I just want to make sure everything's alright," he told her. "You can tell me if it's not. You can tell me if you actually are upset about last night."

Ophelia walked back up to him and kissed him. He didn't kiss back at first, still confused. When Ophelia pulled away she told him, "It's okay, Zach. I'm just sorry I wasn't able to do anything for you last night."

Ophelia was trying to be sexy with her words, but felt they were coming out weird.

Zach grew red. "You don't have to worry about that."

Ophelia said, "Let me make it up to you."

Zach was shocked when Ophelia dropped to her knees in front of him. He almost let out an audible gasp. The angle gave him another view of her heavy cleavage.

Zach flinched when she grabbed the top of his pants.

"W-What are you doing?" he asked her, surprised she was willing to do something like this at school. But he was not upset. He didn't know what he was feeling, but he knew he didn't want her to stop.

"Is this alright?" She asked him as she undid the button on his pants.

She didn't want to pressure him, and she definitely didn't want to do it if it made him uncomfortable. Having dated Montgomery, she found it easier to be comfortable with doing stuff in a school setting, or crowded places. But she didn't want Zach to be forced into something like that.

It was beyond alright for Zach. He felt himself already turned on. Not only was he desperate for Ophelia's touch at that moment, but he was desperate to prove himself. He wanted to make up for last night.

Maybe it was a good first step. If he could enjoy this without guilt, he should be able to do more without guilt. Maybe later that day he would be able to actually please Ophelia too.

"Yes. Please."

Zach wondered for a second if saying please made him sound desperate, but then he realized he didn't give a fuck if it did.

"Hey, Zachy, let me talk to you for a second."

Zach didn't want to talk. He didn't want to see anyone for the rest of the day. He wanted to go home, and go to sleep for an entire week, and then not wake up until whatever the fuck was wrong with him went away.

Bryce stood next to Zach at his gym locker. Everyone was changing out of their practice uniform back into their normal clothes. Practice had been cut short that day due to orders of the principal.

The other boys had hit the showers already, but Zach planned on just taking one at home. He just wanted to be home quick. Ophelia said she would go with him to his house today, but Zach was worried. What if she wanted to try to do something? Just for Zach to fail again?

Just like he failed that morning.

The night before, Zach had been unable to stay hard. But that morning, when Ophelia pulled him into the classroom and got on her knees for the sole purpose of pleasing him, he couldn't become fully hard at all. She tried to help him, using her hand to get started. But it didn't work. He couldn't have sex, and he couldn't even have a blowjob.

Zach wondered if his body was broken, like Alex's was.

Bryce took a seat in the bench that was just behind Zach. He patted the spot next to him. "Come on, take a seat for a minute."

Zach sighed, not knowing what Bryce wanted, but not caring enough to ignore him. He took a seat next to him.

Bryce looked around, to make sure the rest of the boys were still in the showers, before pulling a bottle of pills out of his bag.

"These are for you," Bryce said, handing them to him. "And don't worry, they're on me."

Zach began to reject them, "Bryce, you know I don't do that shit-"

"These are different," Bryce told him. "They're for your problem."

Zach frowned. "My problem?"

He looked at the name of the pills, but couldn't recognize it.

"Look, it's not a big deal. I've know a few boys who had to take these. I mean, they were a lot older, but that doesn't matter."

Zach was worried, suddenly. "What the fuck are these?"

They were snatched out of his hand, suddenly. Montgomery has come up behind them, only in a towel.

"Damn, Zach. You fucking dealing now too?"

Bryce stood up. "Come on, Monty. Those are for Zach. Let's not be rude."

Montgomery laughed. "What you taking, Zach? Thought you were too good for this shit? That's what you fucking tell us anyway."

Zach didn't try to grab the pills back. He didn't know what they were for anyway. But Montgomery read the bottle, and apparently he did.

Montgomery let out a laugh. "Wait a minute, are these fucking boner pills?"

Zach felt his heart stop. He reached out and tried to grab the bottle away from Montgomery, but he just held it away from him.

"You can't keep it up, Zach?" Montgomery asked him, mocking.

Bryce tried, "Come on, Monty. This isn't something to joke about. Let's help our brother out."

But Montgomery seemed ecstatic. "Jeez, Zach. Is that why you haven't fucked yet? You literally can't?"

Zach decided to wipe that stupid smile off his face. "Actually, we fucked last night."

It worked. Montgomery's smile was gone. Zach snatched the pills away from him and shoved them into his bag. Maybe he should try them. Maybe they would work. At least enough so that when they had sex, Ophelia could finish, even if he couldn't.

Montgomery turned around suddenly, which confused Zach. He realized Montgomery was upset by what he learned. He probably turned away so Zach couldn't see that. But Montgomery was being a dick, and Zach wasn't going to let him off easy now that he had the upper hand.

Montgomery was upset. He was upset the night before. He wasn't able to sleep well. He figured that Zach and Ophelia had already had sex, probably when they first began dating.

But it was disturbing to learn that Ophelia had waited long enough that Montgomery could have stopped it from happening. Montgomery could have worked harder, and gotten her back. He could have ensured he was the only one she had been with and would ever be with. But he missed that opportunity by one day.

He imagined Zach and Ophelia having sex. Zach being able to touch all the places Ophelia had promised were just for him. It wasn't just upsetting Montgomery, it was angering him.

"What's wrong, Monty? Think she finally realized how small your dick is now that she had someone like me?"

Bryce was trying to stay neutral, but he couldn't help but let out a laugh.

Montgomery turned around. Now he wasn't just angry, he was furious. "Yeah, I don't think she's happier with a dick that doesn't even work."

Zach rolled his eyes. "You don't even know her anymore."

Montgomery let out a chuckle, smirking with anger. "Here's the thing, Zachy. You don't know a girl until you've fuck her. Because that'll be a whole new side of her. New wants and needs you didn't have to meet before. And I doubt your limp dick is gonna be any good to her."

Bryce stood up now, waiting to see if he should jump back into the conversation.

"Actually," Montgomery said, "I wouldn't be surprised if she came to me for those needs. What do you think, Zach? You tried to fuck her when she was my girlfriend so it's only fair if I try to fuck her now, right?"

Zach pushed Montgomery. "You stay the fuck away from her or I swear to fucking god-"

Bryce did step in now. "Boys, come on, let's take a breath, alright?"

Montgomery laughed at Zach's anger. "Look at that, I think he's scared she'll say yes."

Scott walked over to the three. He has short on, but was shirtless, a towel draped over his shoulders. "What the hell are you guys doing?"

"What are we doing?" Bryce commented. "Zach, you're not going to fight Monty while he's still naked. And Monty, why the fuck are you trying to start a fight while you're naked? Get some clothes on."

Scott looked confused and said, "Y'all fighting?"

Montgomery said, "You would love that wouldn't you, Zach? You're probably a fucking faggot anyway. That's why you hang around Standall so much isn't it? Bet you can get it up for him."

Zach cringed at his offensive words, and moved to push him again, but Bryce stood in the way.

Scott stood still, out of the loop.

Montgomery laughed. He threw a shirt on. Zach looked away as he stripped himself of his towel and put his pants on.

Zach was mad and embarrassed and just tired. He wanted to go home. He wanted to be done with the day. He wanted to fall asleep, Ophelia in his arms. He wondered if she even wanted to, or if Montgomery was right and she didn't want to be with someone who couldn't even stay hard long enough to sleep with her.

"Why the fuck are you guys so upset?" Scott asked.

Montgomery chuckled. "Zach's mad because he knows I can fuck Ophelia better than he can. And he knows she knows it too."

He was right. Zach knew Ophelia knew Montgomery was better.

"You're a fucking asshole," Zach snapped at him.

"Whatever. Take your fucking boner pills and fuck off, man."

Bryce said, "Alright, well, I think it'd be a good time to-"

"Ophelia wants nothing to fucking do with you, Monty."

Montgomery just shrugged and said, "That's not what she was saying at fucking Hamlin's."

Zach was visibly irritated, and confused.

Montgomery pretended like he didn't mean to say it. "Oops. That's right, she told me not to tell you about that."

Zach pushed Bryce out of the way and grabbed Montgomery's shirt, and then threw him back against his own locker. "I said to shut the fuck up!"

Scott grabbed Montgomery, and brought him away, while Bryce grabbed Zach.

"That's it! Get the fuck out of here!" Bryce told Montgomery and Scott.

Scott frowned. "The fuck did I do?"

"That's fine," Montgomery said. He tossed Scott one of his spare shirts. "I'm fucking done in here anyway."

Montgomery grabbed his workout bag and left, Scott behind him.

"Jesus fuck that girl gets to you," Bryce said, "Heaven help the next guy who falls for her."

"There won't be a next guy," Zach snapped. He slammed his locker shut.

Montgomery was laughing when him and Scott left the locker room.

"What was that all about?" Scott asked him.

Montgomery put a hand on his shoulder, "Just fucking with him, Scotty. It's so easy."

"Yeah, but you were really mean," Scott mentioned. "I mean, shit, are you still hung up on Ophelia or something?"

Montgomery frowned at his friend. "So what if I am? She was my fucking girlfriend first. She'll probably be my girlfriend again. Zach's just a fucking filler." Montgomery felt his own words cheering him up.

"You think so?" Scott asked him. "I mean, it was fucked up Zach dated your ex but it's kind of fucked up to try to get at her while they are still together."

"Zach didn't seem to think so," Montgomery seethed. He stopped suddenly, and Scott watched as he started laughing. "Fucking shit, look who's right there."

Scott looked ahead to see Ophelia sitting on a bench just passed the locker room building.

"Hey, we shouldn't fuck with her, man," Scott said.

Montgomery just told him, "Then fucking stay here."

Montgomery walked up to Ophelia. She didn't notice him, because she had earphones in, staring at her phone.

Ophelia was waiting for Zach, deciding to allow him to drive her home because she desperately wanted to apologize. She never should have pressured him into letting her touch him at school. She felt terrible. Not only had her confidence completely hit bottom in the last twenty-four hours, but she feared she was pulling down Zach's spirits also.

She felt a hand on her shoulder. She assumed it was Zach's. She set her phone down and grabbed it with hers. She squeezed it. She reached behind her for the other hand, which she found. She pulled both hands forward, pulling Zach close as well to hug her from behind.

The smell is what alerted her that it wasn't actually Zach. The familiar cologne belonged to someone else. Ophelia let go of the hands, ripping her earphones out and standing to her feet.

"What the hell?" Ophelia demanded as she set her eyes on Montgomery.

He was smiling. "That was cute, O."

His heart was beating fast.

He missed the feeling of her hands against his. He hadn't felt it in so long. And as soon as he did, he knew it was over.

His moving on. He wouldn't be able to. He had wished he could, but he knew now he didn't want to.

Ophelia put on her backpack. "Don't touch me."

Montgomery ignored her unhappiness. He decided to speak ill of Zach. It was someone he was good at "Heard your new boyfriend's got a dick that doesn't work."

Ophelia froze. Fuck. She fucked up. She shouldn't have told Chloe, she shouldn't have told anyone. She broke Zach's trust. Montgomery knew, and he was the last person Zach would want to know something like that.

"Who told you that?" Ophelia asked him. "That-That's not true."

"It's alright, O. You've only been dating a few months, it'll be easy to break up." Montgomery stepped closer to her.

Ophelia stepped back. "You wish."

Montgomery shrugged. "Yeah, I do."

Ophelia shook her head. "And what? You think I'd go back to you again? I made that mistake once Monty it won't happen again."

Montgomery frowned. He took quick steps now, coming up right in front of her now.

"We can start slow of you want. Fuck a few times before making it official."

Ophelia shook her head in disgust. "You're a pervert."

Montgomery was upset with how she acted towards him, but he couldn't stop himself from speaking. It's like there were so many times he kept himself from saying what he was feeling, now that he finally was, he couldn't stop himself.

"C'mon Ophelia, I know you still think about how good we were in bed, how good I made you feel."

Ophelia shook her head, but honestly she had been thinking about it. She tried not to think of Montgomery specifically, but she would think about how he touched her and how she felt from it. Ophelia had touched herself the week before, the first time in a while. She tried to think of Zach, but it was hard because they didn't have any sexual experience together. Imagining Montgomery going down on her was easier, but she still tried to picture Zach doing it instead.

"Just leave me alone," she said, suddenly.

She watched Scott walk up behind Montgomery.

"Hey, come on," Scott told him, "Bryce and Zach will be coming out soon."

"Let then come," Montgomery said, his tone making it clear he didn't care about them seeing him flirt with Ophelia. "Actually, while Zach is out here, we should tell him what you told me at Hamlin's. It'll really put him back in his place."

Ophelia grew red with anxiousness. "Fuck you, Monty. If anything, you bothering me months after we've broken up proves I was wrong."

"Fuck me?" he asked her, not noticing how loud his voice was becoming with anger. "You're a fucking tease, O-"

"Hey, Monty, come on," Scott tried to pull his friend away. He felt bad for Montgomery causing so much stress towards the girl.

But Montgomery felt angry. He felt betrayed by Ophelia. She acted like he was just an ex boyfriend. He was an ex boyfriend, but how could she act so harsh to him.

How can she say 'fuck you' when they used to be in love? He was going to be her husband, but she was treating him like an enemy.

"You can play around all you want, Ophelia. But at the end of the day you're still my girl," Montgomery told her.

No, she wasn't. Ophelia was confused as to why Montgomery had the sudden desire to say that. Did he really think it?

Scott grabbed Montgomery by his backpack. "Look, there they are."

Bryce and Zach were walking towards them now.

Montgomery turned away.

"What the fuck is going on here?" Zach demanded.

"Calm the fuck down," Montgomery told him, "Our clothes are still in. Nothing to worry about yet."

Ophelia grabbed Zach's hand. "Let's just go. He's not worth it."

"I'm not worth it?" Montgomery laughed. "But Zach is? Zach's worth wasting your fucking time?"

"Monty, my man, where's this coming from?" Bryce asked him. He too noticed how Montgomery suddenly began acting on feelings most had thought went away.

It wasn't fair to Montgomery. He wanted a life with Ophelia. He planned a life with Ophelia. And Zach took it away. Montgomery wanted it back.

Scott made eye contact with Ophelia, who was now standing slightly behind Zach. He looked regretful.

Zach shook his head. "Work out your shit in your own time, Monty. And find someone who actually wants to help you."

"I'm really sorry, Zach," Ophelia tried apologizing as he drove her home.

He didn't respond.

"I didn't mean to tell anyone. I swear. I just-I just asked Chloe if it ever happened with Bryce. I just wanted to see if it was normal, or if it was my fault."

"It wasn't your fucking fault, Ophelia." His words were angry, but his voice was soft. "I fucking told you that it wasn't your fault."

"Then why did it happen?" she asked him, "And why did it happen again? I mean-It doesn't matter. I swear it doesn't matter I was just sad and I told someone and I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry," Zach mumbled.

"You don't have to say that," she told him. "This whole thing is my fault."

Zach remained quiet. When Ophelia looked over, she noticed how absolutely depressed his expression was. His eyes were watering. From embarrassment and sadness.

"Zach..."

"Do you still want to be with someone like me?" Zach asked her. "Someone who can't fuck you or anything?" He sounded so upset, so desperate to know.

"Zach, of course. That doesn't matter to me."

"Well it fucking mattered today."

Ophelia looked down, ashamed of her action from the day. "I'm sorry. I was just surprised."

Zach pulled off to the side of the road. Not too suddenly where he swerved, but enough to surprise her.

"I..."

Zach didn't finish, so Ophelia reached over to take his hand.

"I'm sorry I'm not him, Ophelia."

She frowned. "Who?"

"Montgomery. I know you'd still be with him if all this never happened."

Ophelia was shocked. "Zach, are you kidding me? I'm glad I'm with you. I don't know how to make it clearer that I don't want to be with him, or anyone like him."

Zach thought about Hannah. How he had ruined that relationship, and how that could never happen with Ophelia. He wasn't embarrassed of Ophelia, he was proud of her. But other boys would be proud to be with her too, and that was the problem. Why would she stay with him when she had so many options.

Zach was unaware that he had the same insecurities that Montgomery had while he was still with Ophelia. However, Montgomery assumed Ophelia would leave him for someone that was smarter, and nicer. Zach just felt like Ophelia would leave for someone tougher, someone less sensitive.

Ophelia hadn't planned on leaving either of them. Heartbreak and pain tore her away from Montgomery, but she knew Zach would never betray her enough to make their relationship end in the same way.

"I fucking hate him," Zach said, without even meaning to.

Ophelia wanted to comfort him more, but was unable to.

She knew what he wanted her to say. That she hated him too. But she didn't. And she was ashamed of it.

Next few chapters I'm going to try mentioning the newer characters! Like Charlie and Estela. I was so shocked when they introduced her lmao. However, I feel like Estela can easily transition into the plan I have for this story.

Y'all I'm too invested in this story. Each time I watch a new episode I really think "wow Ophelia will be so upset about this" ? I really try to imagine her role in each scene

It's also kind of sad writing Monty knowing what happens :((( I feel like I'm literally writing all the wrong decisions he made to end up where he is.

And Zach has been dissappointing in season 4 so far :( but please no spoilers still!

Also, can anyone help me with the timeline of the show? I thought Montgomery was a year above everyone but maybe that was just Bryce? And are they in Junior year in season 3?

Thank you to everyone reading! Appreciate all of you!

Love y'all!
