Back inside the mind hallway...

Miles and Julia reappeared in that hallway, as Numbah 4 and 3's doors disappeared from the hallway itself. The only doors that remained were Bartie's and Virginia's doors. For the two of them, it seemed pretty easy getting everyone out of these tubes, as the 'Wake Up' doors were easy to find.

"So who should get who? These two are the last doors left in this hallway." Julia asked her brother as they stood there looking at the last two doors there.

"Well, I think I should take Bartie's door, while you take Virginia's door." Miles said. "Do you think they are going to be angry with us when we say that we allowed the Sector V operatives out first instead of them?" Julia walks up to Virginia's door, looking up, before looking back behind herself at her own brother.

"I don't think so. They'd pretty much understand that Numbah 2 suggested it first before we did."

Julia opens the door, slowly, knowing that there's going to be extreme brightness once she opens it up. Mostly this is because the other three doors were just the same exact thing, so she did this knowing that this was going to be the case. Thankfully, when she opened the door, there was no brightness coming out. So for Julia, that was good.

Watching his sister entering her best friend's door, Miles decided to go into the door that leads into Bartie's imagination next. Miles opens the door, knowing that if Virginia's mind wasn't going to have brightness coming out of it, surely Bartie won't have anything coming out of his own door as well. Sadly, once he opened the door, brightness came immediately out of it, causing him to hold up his hands, keeping the light out of his eyes.

"Ah! You gotta be kidding me!" Miles shouts. "So Virginia gets no bright lights, back her friend does!? Gah! These GKND aliens really need to make up their mind on what kind of light bulbs are used inside these doors entrances!"

"Can you stop stalling, Miles?!" Hoagie said from above. "We need those last two out of here!"

Miles looks up at the ceiling, nodding his head. "Alright, alright...I'll get into Bartie's mind and try to get him out of there." The brightness inside the door finally stopped, allowing the boy to enter his friend's imagination. "Finally...I don't have to hurt my eyes when I walk in here." Miles walks through the door, entering his best friend's mind.

First, inside Virginia's mindset...

Julia walked down what felt like nothing more but a dark hallway...

This felt rather eerie to her, as she wasn't expecting this to be how she enters Virginia's mindset. The girl can be a total punk at times, but she still didn't expect her friend's imagination to be so dark she can't see anything around her. She now was curious with what kind of location she was going to be in to try to get Virginia out of here.

After a bit more feet walking through this darkness, she found herself into a more brighter area. This bright area appeared to be some sort of warehouse area. The sun was shining through the windows that were above, and the items around this place seem to be...nowhere. If Virginia actually woke up around this spot, then she probably had a lot of time on her hands to empty this entire place out. But there was no time for worrying about what use to be in this warehouse, Julia had to find where Virginia is inside this place.

The girl saw that the garage door to the north part of the building was open, meaning Virginia was in here moments ago. The girl is either close by, or she went off farther than this warehouse. Either way, Julia went out of the this building to see how big this place is before she went off to find Virginia.

Julia ran out of the warehouse building, wondering where she was actually at. From the looks of her surroundings, it appears that the warehouse is stuck on some island that's made out of nothing more but docks. No boats, or other islands could be see out in the distance, as far as Julia could see. It doesn't actually seem to be that big of a location, so it seems like Julia will probably find Virginia within seconds.

"Virginia! Are you nearby?!" Julia shouts, holding her hands on her mouth, trying to make herself sound a little louder. "I'm here to get you out of here!"

Without knowing about it, Julia hear what sounded like a can hitting the ground nearby. The sound of metal hitting the ground nearly startled her when it happened, causing her to turn her head towards the lighthouse building. Julia was curious for a few seconds, before looking up at where the light is.

"Virginia! I see you up there!" Julia shouts.

"Are you crazy?! Be quiet before you..." Virginia said in a harsh whisper, before pointing towards the water. "You'll wake that thing up..."

"Wake what up?" Julia mouths to her best friend.

Julia looks towards the ocean for a few seconds. She walks over to the edge of the docks, before looking down at the water. She saw nothing below, as it was too foggy for her to see anything. Julia felt like this was some sort of joke, so she turned back towards the lighthouse to call Virginia out on this.

Before Julia could yell, the entire platform seemed to have vibrated out of nowhere. The brown-haired girl grabbed a hold of the nearby sign, trying to keep herself from falling over. Holding onto the sign was actually something that she should be lucky about, because looking at the sign near the sea, she saw what Virginia was actually talking about.

'Beware of the Giant Asparagus. The only way to defeat it is by using the fork found inside the lighthouse. Defeating the creature will allow the 'Wake Up' door to finally appear.' The sign said.

This confused Julia. The girl went over to the water once again, before kneeling down to see why the sign was actually talking about. She places her hand in the supposed water, as Virginia was watching the girl doing all of this, finding this kind of actions to be completely a horrible idea.

"Woah..." Julia said, as she pulled out some actual asparagus from the 'sea' below. She stood back up, looking at the vegetable in her hand. "This is...actually happening right now..."

"Are you crazy?! You don't know how dangerous that thing is!" Virginia shouts from the top of the lighthouse. "God only knows what the hell is under of all that crappy vegetable-filled ocean!"

"I...I don't see anything down there!"

The rumbling came back once again, causing Julia to accidentally break the sign. She then notices a shadow swimming down below the boards of the entire platform that the warehouse and lighthouse were both on. She stood back up, holding the sign in her hands, as if she found a near item to fight off this giant beast with in case it attempts to show itself.

The rumbling soon stopped...

Julia could only hear the sound of her breath, as she looked out to the distance, holding two parts of the sign in her hands, as she looked around. The girl kept her eyes on the boards below, trying to find the shadow beneath her. The creature, it seems to be nowhere now.

But before she could let her guard down, the sound of boards breaking was heard behind her. She immediately turned around, seeing the sight of the giant asparagus was right there behind her. The girl looks at the sign in her hands, breaking off the metal sign off of the board that was connected to it. She tosses the metal sign aside, before looking up at the creature that roared right in front of her.

"Well...I can't believe that a part of my life involves fighting what is a giant sea creature." Julia mutters to herself, holding the wooden board in her hands. She twirls the board in her hands, before holding it as if it were a harpoon spear. "Well, if 'Jaws' taught me anything, make sure to stay on dry land if you want to defeat something like a giant squid...or a sea-monster...or a dragon...or..." Julia then glared forward, looking at the vegetable creature ahead of her. "...Forget about it! I'm ready to defeat this son of a bitch so that I can get the 'Wake Up' door to appear!"
