BlueMystic012: *insert Looney Toons music*
Guest: Just give them a stupid name that basically is what they are. That's what I do.
Jinglebells852: Thanks!
BlueMystic012: Whoa. They're gone.
It is a sad day … my licorice is finished. Not nice. I also fell asleep during
Science. Also not nice. Also, I changed Percy's broom from a Nimbus 2003 to a 2005 because it was supposed to be a reference to when the Lightning Thief was published, and I thought it was published in 2003 until I looked it up.
Song of the Chapter: The Quidditch Match by John Williams
Percy (even though it should be Harry)
"Captains, shake hands!"
Angelina stepped forward and shook hands with the Ravenclaw captain.
Percy looked at the opposing team. They seemed pretty tough. He was wondering who played what when the quaffle was thrown, and the game began.
He kicked and flew on the broom. It was amazing. It turned at his slightest touch, and moved faster than Grover when there were enchiladas.
He saw a Bludger flew toward him and proceeded to launch it with the bat towards one of the Ravenclaw beaters. He hit his target and Crabbe dropped his bat. He checked what everyone else was doing. Angelina, Alicia, and Katie were throwing the Quaffle around, but some Ravenclaw chaser grabbed the ball from them and scored a goal.
Percy silently groaned. He looked for Harry and saw him trying to stay out of everyone's way and looking for the Snitch. He would be a horrible seeker. They had to pay attention too much.
A bludger flew at him again. He deflected it with the bat towards the Ravenclaw keeper.
He looked at the stands and noticed Hermione wasn't there. Huh. Hagrid was gone, too.
Harry then dived. He must've seen the Snitch, but Cho Chang quickly followed him, looking very intense. He then remembered that they both broke up with each other. That would make things a bit more personal.
He found Ron doing much better than other games at the hoop thingies. He saved pretty much every goal.
"Percy!" Jack yelled. Another Bludger was coming after him. People seemed to be aiming for him a lot.
He hit the Bludger at Cho, who was still in a race with Harry. He aimed the Bludger at the tail of her broom, causing her to spin out of control. She hit the Ravenclaw stands. Percy felt a bit guilty. He didn't want to hurt anyone too bad. Luckily, she flew back out, mostly unscathed. Just some cuts and bruises.
Harry was looking around. He'd lost the Snitch.
The rest of the game passed by with mostly no sign of the Snitch. It seemed like an hour had passed when it came out. Percy looked at the stands for Hermione and Hagrid. They were there. Maybe he just missed them before.
It was a good thing his fatal flaw was loyalty, because he had to save his teammates a lot. It was also weird he had horrible aim at archery, but with bats and bludgers, he was great.
Finally, he saw the golden Snitch. Harry saw it too. Unfortunately, so did Cho. They were racing towards the Snitch, neck and neck, when Percy saw that Cho was getting too close for comfort. He hit an incoming Bludger but this time aimed it to the front of her broom. It hit her, causing the same effect as before, but also grazed Harry, pushing his legs in the direction away from the Snitch, but in the process turning his whole body so his hand was able to grab the Snitch.
And grab the Snitch he did.
The game ended, and Gryffindor won 230-30. He flew down to the field, braking with difficulty. He would have to figure out how to brake later. For now, he was just shocked that his first Quidditch game was the finals and he actually helped.
I wanted this chapter to be longer, but I don't have the time. Hope you understand.
Autocorrect adventure!
Everyone is the only thing he can trust me to teach them to all the furniture and the girl Harry was always gawking at the Gryffindor common room together and the original ending of the Phoenix opera house elf and the original song of the Phoenix opera house is the only thing he has the high ground. I had to delete "girl" from predictable text or we would always get that loop.
Please remember to review and have a nice day.
