Harry and Hermione were heading towards the school grounds followed by Neville, Luna and Susan behind them when they both saw Daphne going in the opposite direction. She looked at Harry who looked at her before they both awkwardly looked away. Hermione didn't miss that.
"What was that about?" she whispered to him.
"What?" Harry asked acting like nothing had happened.
"Harry, I know something is up when I see it," she said.
Harry sighed. "Okay but promise me you won't tell anyone about this," he said.
"I promise," she said.
"Daphne and I kissed…or rather I kissed her and she followed," he said.
Hermione stopped and looked at him. Neville almost collided into her before Susan pulled him to a stop as the three looked at Hermione and Harry. "What happened?" Susan asked looking at the two.
"Nothing," Hermione said hiding a smile as she began to head towards the castle's exit.
"Is something wrong?" Neville asked looking at Harry.
"No…Nothing," he said before following Hermione out. The three stood there watching him go before following him.
The case wasn't similar with Daphne, though, as she hadn't told anyone about the kiss, not even Tracey, her best friend. It made sense because she hadn't told her that she was also married to Harry. She knew it bore the risk of getting out even though she trusted Tracey just as much as she trusted herself but this was something she figured she just wouldn't share with anyone.
The whole day she kept thinking about the kiss between herself and Harry. She desperately wanted to talk to someone about it but no one here was trustworthy enough, especially in her house which was on high alert ever since Crabbe and Goyle's fathers had been murdered. So she just kept the secret to herself. She needed to talk to Harry, though, but she wondered if things would be awkward after they'd kissed each other yesterday.

Snape sat in his office, taking the free time to check some of the assignments the fourth year had submitted. The things they wrote…the rubbish…it gave him headaches, not that this was just the case with fourth year students. Sometimes he wondered why Dumbledore wouldn't just let him have the DADA post or even some other teaching position. At least that way he wouldn't have to put this much effort and gain nothing out of it.
As he sat their cursing his luck while correcting the papers he heard a light tap on the window and turned to see it was an owl. It was a Hogwarts owl as Snape stood up and looked at it closely. His office was only illuminated by a few candles and the small fire burning in the fireplace. He liked to sit in the dark as it brought him comfort for some reason.
He opened the window and untied the letter from the owl's leg, letting the bird fly back to the owlery. It had no sender's name. He wondered who'd have sent him the letter as he read it. It was small and to the point.
'Bring Draco to the secret chamber, Friday.'
Since it mentioned the secret chamber Snape knew that the letter was from Harry. No one else other than him, Snape and Draco knew about the secret chamber or the fact that Draco was alive. He wondered why Harry had asked him to do that but he knew asking him won't give him any answers. Although Dumbledore would be here in the castle Snape could smuggle Draco through the wards through one of the secret passages that Black and his friends used back in the day when they were students here.

Grindelwald appeared inside the room and looked at her sleeping form. He walked over to her and laid his hand on her head. He wondered if Dumbledore even cared anymore as he was here for over ten seconds now and Dumbledore hadn't arrived. The wards sure must've alerted him so why was he not coming?
"So now he's left you here all alone," he said looking at her. "Tell me, Ariana, if you could wake up right now would you want your brother to be dead?" he said. "Because I want that…for what he did to you.
"I also need her from you but then I will have to lose you forever." He grabbed his head and sat down on the floor, whimpering and crying. "I don't know what to do. Tell me what to do, Ariana! I want to hear your voice! I want to hear your voice once more. Please don't leave me alone in this. I need someone beside me when it all goes down. I need you beside me when it all goes down."
"She won't wake up, not for you, not for me, not for anyone."
"You sure took your time to get here, Albus," Grindelwald said as he slowly looked up at him. "So you say she won't wake up for no one?"
"If you believe in my abilities then you know that I am telling the truth," Dumbledore said.
"That part, I've started to have my doubts now, Albus," Grindelwald said.
"You want the same thing," Dumbledore said. "Only your motive is for your master's betterment. You know if you do that then you will have to kill Ariana."
"My master will bring her back," Grindelwald said. "You, on the other hand, you want nothing out of this but power and immortality so that you can then shape this world according to your vision."
"Which is a very good one," Dumbledore said. "You know all about it since I shared it with you." Grindelwald smirked. "You need to stop coming here, Gellart. It will be in the best interest for the both of us."
Grindelwald stood up and looked at Ariana. "You stand in my path, Albus," he said.
"I know," Dumbledore said. "And you stand in mine."
Grindelwald smirked again. "I hope the next time we see each other the circumstances would've worked in either one of us' favor."
Dumbledore didn't say anything as Grindelwald vanished from the room. He sighed once Grindelwald was gone before looking at his sister. "You still won't let me live…even when you are sleeping," he said.

Harry looked at the time before grabbing his map and the invisibility cloak as he headed out of his quarters.
Tonight's wind was cold and Harry regretted not wearing something warm but a few warming spells did the work for the time as he headed towards the second floor. He saw the chains which were locked around the entrance of the bathroom door undone and knew they were already here. He pushed opened the door and entered the bathroom, uncovering himself from the invisibility cloak when his eyes fell on Draco.
"Draco," he said looking at the boy who looked different than before. Harry wondered what was up with him as apparently every time he was seeing him Draco looked different than before.
"Harry," the boy said. "Why did you want me here?"
"I thought since you were the actual Chosen One," Harry said walking towards the central pillar of the bathroom – the entrance of the chamber, "then maybe a little help would get you a long way to defeat Voldemort. Open!"
Snape and Draco stepped back as the entrance to the chamber began to open. Once the coast was clear the three headed down with Harry taking the lead this time. "Do you know what a divine beast is, Draco? Professor?" Harry asked once they reached the bottom. Neither of them answered as they looked at him confused. "The divine beasts are the first ever beings which came into this world and made it habitable for us…everything."
Snape and Draco exchanged glances in confusion while following Harry towards the chamber. "Open!" Harry said as the round door opened their way to the secret chamber. "You don't have to worry about closing your eyes," he said to Snape and Draco. "She knows we were going to come."
The two could already see the basilisk curled up, sitting outside the statue of Salazar, looking at them as they climbed down the ladder. They followed Harry as he stopped by the basilisk, looking at her. "I brought him," he said in normal language.
The basilisk looked at Draco, lowering her head and bringing it closer to him. Draco wanted to step back but didn't as he thought it might spook the basilisk. "He's the one?" Harry nodded once.
Both Draco and Snape were surprised for a moment but then realized it was the basilisk that just spoke to them. It was like the last time.
Harry looked at Draco and signaled him to walk forward. The boy did albeit slowly until he was mere inches away from the basilisk's huge head. He looked her straight in the eyes and for some reason he didn't feel afraid.
"I sense anguish and revenge inside you," the basilisk said.
"Why did you want to see me?" Draco asked.
"You two can help each other," Harry said. "Can you do it, though?" he asked looking at Selandra.
"I can," she answered. "The question is, is he ready?"
"Why are we here, Harry?" Draco asked.
"Remember how I was talking about the divine beasts?" Harry said. "Selandra is one of them – the first basilisk – a divine beast."
Draco and Snape looked at her even though they didn't know anything what divine beasts were. All Harry had said to them that they had created this world and that was it.
"The thing is," Harry said, "I asked her if she could help you defeat Voldemort."
Draco looked from him back to the basilisk. "How so?" he asked.
"I need you to be my vessel," Selandra said having his attention but more so of Snape's.
"You mean you want to take control of Draco's body?" Snape asked.
"No," she replied. "When I familiarized myself with Salazar I did so by making him my vessel. When he brought me here I let a part of me stay inside him to help him if he was ever in danger which he couldn't handle. He didn't know that. So when he died my part which was inside him died along with him. It hurt and weakened me as a part of me had died."
"So you want Draco's help in recovering," Snape said. "Tell me how it wouldn't weaken him?"
"It won't," she said. "All it will give me is a much stable environment where I can solely focus on my own recovery. Draco's magic or his strength won't be affected."
"And she can help you take down Voldemort," Harry said.
Draco looked at him with wide eyes. He then looked back at the basilisk. "How can we trust you?" he asked looking at her.
Selandra looked at Harry. "There are two more vessels here at Hogwarts who have divine beasts inside them," he said. "One is Neville and the other one is Luna Lovegood, a Ravenclaw first year."
"Longbottom has one, too?" Draco asked.
"Both Luna and Neville's divine beasts have been with their family for generations now," Harry said. Harry then told them everything about the divine beasts. Both Draco and Snape listened with utmost interest and disbelief. Selandra would tell them her side of the story and how Hogwarts currently had five of the divine beasts of which two were inside their vessels and one was held captive by Dumbledore in his office.
"The divine beasts are the very creators of this world…of us and everything we see and feel around ourselves," Harry said. "The magic that we are familiar with is in reality the manifestation of their powers which they left when they created us. Everything in this world is because of them and they hold the power to destroy it as well."
Snape realized what Harry meant as his eyes widened with surprise. "The venom," he said slowly. Draco looked at him.
Harry nodded. "All the divine beasts hold the ability to easily destroy near indestructible things such as a horcrux," he said. "Selandra's venom is an example. We were in luck that we didn't find any other basilisk's venom when we were looking for it because it wouldn't have worked. If you become her vessel then there won't be a need for us to use the venom to destroy the remaining two horcruxes. When you find them or face Voldemort she will simply lend you some of her powers and you can destroy them easily with just a spell."
"Tom betrayed me as well," she said. "He used my powers for his own goals, killing innocent children. Even though we divine beasts are not supposed to interfere with events directly I can certainly help you defeat him."
"We don't know how much time we have," Harry said. "Like I said Grindelwald is hunting down the divine beasts and stealing their powers for himself and it won't be long until he gets here. One thing we are sure of is that Hogwarts is a very big target for him because currently there are five divine beasts here. He already has three and that alone makes him the strongest individual in the whole world. This is why we need to get rid of Voldemort so that we can focus on the bigger picture – Grindelwald."
"What should I do?" Draco asked looking at Snape.
Snape looked at him, his eyes telling Draco that he had already thought this through.

"I have talked with one of the unspeakables," Amelia said. "He said he can manage one of us inside the room of prophecies."
"Do we really know if we will be able to find the prophecy?" Sirius asked. "I have my doubts if we actually will be able to even know which prophecy is which. I've never seen a prophecy sphere before."
"Neither have I," Remus said, "but we have to take the chance."
"If we don't succeed can we tell Harry about it?" Amelia asked.
Remus and Sirius looked at each other for a moment. "He's proven himself that he can handle things despite his young age," said Remus. "I think we should tell him about the prophecy since it involves him and not us. Voldemort will come for him. It would be better if we tell him the entire truth and then prepare him because sooner or later he will have to face him whether we like it or not."
"You won't say anything?" Amelia asked Sirius.
"Even though I am his godfather," Sirius said, "Remus took care of him more than I ever did. If he thinks that Harry should know then we will tell him."
Amelia nodded. "Then if it has been decided, I say we let Harry himself go in the room of prophecy and see it for himself. That way we won't have to go there again and like Sirius said there's no guarantee if we three would actually be able to find the prophecy. Harry will because he's part of it."
The other two nodded in agreement. "I will write him a letter to meet us this weekend," Remus said.
